I was thinking of picking up the initial three of these (as well as the ones with no super big QC issues yet), should I do so or wait for future MoMos I may like better, and to see how the quality is? There's been a fuckton of new types showcased by Optune, so I'm curious as to whether these'll be slated for release and when so I don't kick myself over getting the first three later.
Since the POs are over for those three anyway I'll have to get 'em kinda-sorta secondhand. I was thinking Ekia hobby'd do the trick, you guys have any opinions? I dunno if they're still selling them since they don't show up on the in-site search. I'm just hoping that's a temporary fluke for now.
Nevermind that last part, I was just being stupid.
Anyway, what do you personally prefer, PO or wait for reviews first? Hi Riridine and Chocolatte were sorta unpleasant surprises as I remember.
Sorry if I was confusing, I was referring tho "those" as in Cyuchergoh, Ingenue Head, and Daisy, their POs are long gone though you can still buy them here and there.
Arukemia, Artemisia, (I may be butchering these names, fuck) and the the mantis-type have no release dates yet, though Optune has posted some backstory to them and more pics on his twitter.
The three in the pic I posted are the aforementioned newer animal themed MoMos Optune showed off on his twitter. No real news on POs for them yet, so keep an eye open.
Figmoe Lurker did a pretty good job of keeping the other thread posted on this kind of news.
MoMos are Original Effect's newest line of figures. They're prebuilt, pre-painted articulated figures of robot chicks. They fight stuff. OE mostly specializes in 1/6 figures and some other stuff.
You can usually buy them from import sites like AmiAmi, HLJ, Hobbysearch, Mandarake, or others like Ekia Hobby and BBTS or even Amazon, though Amazon's got the most badly inflated prices due to their purchase commission. On AmiAmi and Hobbysearch in particular you can't really buy too many as they were all purchased on PO stage.
As figures they're really, really articulate and intended to be modular, some key parts can be removed and swapped out. Pretty nice.
Generally they're alright. Some promo issues, especially on the last two to be released, Hi-Riridine and Chocolatte, which had much less cool paintjobs than people'd thought they'd come with as well as some missing decor. Similar things had happened as early as Ingenue, though.
Some QC issues as well, mostly with joints, but this is less common.
Last thread is still up, read it while you can. OP linked it already.
Pretty understandable. I'd love to see some of the other designs that showed up in Wonfes available soon.
>Arukemia, Artemisia, (I may be butchering these names, fuck)
Yeah, Artemisia and the spider-like one is Arachnia, Optune in his twitter have stated that he likes insectas and Artimisia is based on the Actias Artemis japanese/asian moth
>● I like insects, among them exceptional as to be a "Caucasus Beetle", this is "ACTIAS ARTEMIS". It is really beautiful, Yet it is attracted to a place called "moth". It has entered the Top 5 of the next reincarnation would like organisms. (※ image is windfall ...)
Artemisia is now one of my favorites
>What's the general consensus here? Worth the money if you like the aesthetic?
>Where exactly can I buy these, and what are they?
Pretty much what anon in >>5282431 said
I have Cyuchergoh and Ingenue, I got some minor issues with them as already explained in past threads
IDK if someone here have Bunny Daisy, but based on the pics I have seen in the interweebs, she looks like don't have any major issue regarding paint apps or something similar, Hi-Rirdine and Chocolatte have a dull metailic paintjob
I can understand that someone can said they are a bit overpriced, but to be honest the prices for most japan/chinese figures have increased, also these figures are pretty big (22cm/8.75in), So you are getting more plastic than your average 5in 1/12 figure, also the design is cool IMHO and they can swap pieces between them, which is really neat.
So, It worth the money if you like the aesthetic? I would say, fuck yes
Do you have the links at hand
>Do you have the links at hand
Not much below retail, but it's still rare enough for most toys to sell for less than retail that it was surprising.
And I just did a very quick search for 'momo' just out of curiosity. There might be more if you search better.
Tnaks for the links, anon
Actually, Hi-Rirdine, Chocolatte and Daisy are there too
And Sophia from the Killer Paradise line
Also here is a draft list of the MoMo figures released or pending to be released
Cyuchergoh (Basic Type)
Ingenue (Army Type)
Daisy (Bunny Type)
Macaron (Wonfes Exclusive)
Torte (Wonfes Exclusive)
Figure in preorder/not released yet:
Clematis (Bunny Type)
Tigga (Cat Type)
Mygya (Cat Type)
Eclair (Bee Type)
Kragon (Cephalopod Type)
Octopusia (Cephalopod Type)
Artemisia (Moth Type)
Arachnia (Spider Type)
Nurse (Pink/Gold color)
Nurse (White/Gold color)
Maid (White/Black color)
Just a word of advice, if you are going to get that Sophia,be aware that she end up with a face a bit derpy (check the previous threads)
But anyway, OE have made some really sexy doll figures in the Army Attractive and Killer Paradise line
So is there anyone who is doing legit reviews on original effects more recent releases? I know toyhaven has pictures on his site but he doesn't review anything really and all the other written reviews are of the very first releases which were universally shitty.
Sadly there aren't many people making reviews for them
One anon that got Chocolatte have make a review for her
Also is the jap guy that have done reviews for some of the MoMos
And there is a Australian guy (the grouchy one) that have take a good amound of pics of his figures, Harp, Miss Cha, Ingenue and Hi Rirdine
Anon with the broken hi-ridine from the last thread. OE's website has a contact module that doesn't work, so I attempted to contact them via their email. No response there. Some anons advised me to check in on their facebook page, and I have, but it hasn't seem to have updated in quite awhile, and I have yet to have gotten a response.
Pretty disappointed. The figure looks great (though far below the promo shots) but the stiff joints and loose pieces as well as mine coming in broken are big deterrents. Sucks because i'm loving all of these designs they are putting out. I may just wait for the mantis one, since that was the one I had originally wanted, but damn, if i'm not tempted to try for the moth one too.
I'd make a review of mine if it didn't come in broken. Can't really give a fair review beyond "beware of quality control!"
Also, the mantis figure looks different from the older pictures of her. Much more grime on her, as well as armor bits. Also the claws on her feet. Still looks great though. However, I think that her butt is smaller now.
How about their twitter or Optune's twitter? Optune is pretty active, though I don't know what he could do about it. Sorry, still, about your Hi-Riridine.
Any way you can think of to fix the joint?
Yeah, they're all in the last thread as well as this one.
Don't think I can fix it. I can still slide the joint into place and have it stay, but I can't bend the leg at all because it's not attached. It can do standing poses, but anything on her knees or sitting down is impossible.
Amiami doesn't usually do much to help with broken figures. I once had a figure come with a missing arm, and amiami's response was "We'll give you 700 amiami points." From what I gather, north american consumers would abuse the customer support for free shit, so now they barely do anything. Unless they've gotten better. I haven't used their CS in a year.
I don't get it. Only one of these robots seems at all like a character who actually exists and she's not even been slated for release yet.
All of the others are rather simply themed.
I don't think "Venom" when I see black-and-white spider. I don't get the sea duo one either. A squid and an octopus are by no means anything ingrained in popular culture, nor is the idea or name of 'kraken' something overtly in reference to anything but the Greek myth, and even that is a pretty light touch. They're just animal themed. I think it's you.
No, it's not the peg thats loose. It's the part connecting the joints. I first thought the joint fell out in the packaging, but instead it had snapped or wasn't properly made. The only thing I can think of was that the twist tie or the shrink wrap put too much pressure on it during packaging.
After checking Ekia Hobbies, it says that release date was for Oct 31st,2015, but AmiAmi have it for Nov 2015, So I guess it got delayed
Ah c'mon, it's fine as is. You'd only get worse articulation if you made them bigger, I'd think, or else you'd need to implement other changes as well.
Interestingly, Optune was saying he felt a little bad about color variations on his Twitter, though he's overall satisfied with the project, I think. That, and some of his "old shames", kits he'd made from 10+ years ago.
I'm just hoping the project continues, what it's put out so far is pretty alright.
Oh yeah, and apparently we can expect the cat types and Eclair starting in Autumn! Good news.
Actually, it wasn't really mentioned, and Optune noted there could be delays. Ah well, at least he's honest.
This guy seems pretty neat to me.
Release dates are general and generic at best, no concrete information.
Preorders will most probably be on the usual import sites, Amiami, HLJ, Hobbysearch, etc as these are the sites that were used for all of the MoMos that have been released so far.
Rewiew for Daisy
That one is the Reborn Harp, she is sold out in AmiAmi, BBTS, Hobby Search and Ekia Hobbies (from most of us get their OE dollies), So your best bet is get her from Ebay
If you don't mind there is a Shadow Harp available in EH right now
There is also the original Harp, but that one uses the old body which as far as I known inferior to the Reborn body
Goddamn that blue one is sassy
Still disappointed in my MoMo because of those nipple holes but it definitely has one of the best asses among the figures I own.
"Hellwoh and welcome to Elmer Fudd's toy rewiew. Towday we will be wooking at , Owiginal Weffects MoMo Daisy. I'm pwetty excited for this figure bwecause she combines all my interests in wabbits, wadies, and wobots. So wet's take a wook at her, shall we..."
This is a fucking moth?
Where the fuck do I buy this?
I have a fucking OBSESSION with moths. In fact I breed them year round and let them fly around in my room and just die in my deep dish light. I keep the window open during summer and let random ones in.
I need this.
I HOPE quality is good but it seems like it isn't. Fuck.
Is this a kit or what? Where the fuck do I buy this shit?
I might have to get my hands on every one they release. Love this little lady.
Amazon is the worst, check other websites.
Cheapest you'll get is $50-60. Some feel they're overpriced and for the QC and broken promises some feel they've gotten they wouldn't be wrong.
Yeah, both Eins and Zwei are on AmiAmi.
Clematis is already sold out there, though.
The story of the MoMos already exists. They're basically kinda-sorta alien technology further developed and utilized by humans for the purpose of fighting invading forces among other things. They have/need pilots. They do seem to have some issues, as the insect team's existence is partially to hunt "rouge" MoMos.
You can see pics of some of the dudes they fight in the last thread, little robotic fellows who're almost implike in stature compared to your average MoMo.
Are you trying to tell me these don't look fabulous as fuck?
I also didn't link back to the last thread. Might as well do that now. Nice pics of some prototypes too.
Pic related just shows off the MoMos' modularity, the front three units look to be a combo of Myaga, Ingenue, Hi-Riridine, and Cyuchergoh. Back units are just Chocolatte and a prototype.
Who said it was the pilot doing the fucking
I kinda do wonder about the robo /ss/ thing, but there's also the idea of robo /ll/.
More stuff from WonFes Figmoe Lurker'd shared last thread.
You can't have a neat Japanese property without some engrish.
Lesbian Loli if I had to guess.
Damn it, now something have awaken inside me
>>5320853 is right. It's lesbian loli.
/ss/ you have a young boy and a mature woman, /ll/ you have a young girl and a mature woman.
So, mixing what 'canon' of the MoMos we know with whatever fooling around we so wish to, we can have a spiky black loli imp horde get molested by hot robot chicks.
Whatever. Here's a repost of the nurse types Optune posted on his twitter and Figmoe Lurker posted last thread.
Pretty much what this anon said >>5319386, I can't find the source right now, but they are giant battle robots, but yeah, an anime based on this line will be good to see, it also will help to promote the figures
From where this pic comes from?
>Both the pilot and unit are female. Why would it be otherwise? This isn't FSS.
An anime with an all female cast of pilots battling a enemies in giant sexy fembots will be amazing
These two desings are God-tier (pun intended)
>So, mixing what 'canon' of the MoMos we know with whatever fooling around we so wish to, we can have a spiky black loli imp horde get molested by hot robot chicks.
I approve this, like one of the MoMos molesting a smaller female figure like Clover in the pic of McBalderus in >>5311835 or >>5319551
>Anyone had any problems switching heads/hair between MoMo's?
The tie of my Ingenue can't be used by my Cyuchergoh, because the polarity of the magnets are inverted, I guess they didn't check this between figures
The pic is from Pixiv, tags are what you'd expect. It's pretty much the only thing related to the line I could find on the website under the english tags, but it still makes me kinda sad.
>tfw you're 50% of the posts a guy quotes.
>The pic is from Pixiv
Damn, I forgot to do a search in Pixiv, and found it among the favorites in Optune's pixiv account
Also some NSFW fanart for Ingunue
Pic related is the safest one of the pics
Well I'll be damned. Oh well, guess it goes to show you don't get the good stuff when you're going full gaijin on a Japanese website. Maybe I should try drawing something sometime.
Where'd you buy your MoMos again, anyway?
>Where'd you buy your MoMos again, anyway?
Amico, I just added Juggler Daisy and Eins to my December order
>Maybe I should try drawing something sometime.
Same here, these figures are gorgeous and deserves some artistic love IMHO
We're at the end of the year and nothing. It's cancelled right?
Ekia Hobbies have her for release on December 19th
Don't despair anon
I've been waiting for Himiko FOREVER. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...
>Reposting from an old thread just because is still relevant
OE internal hand version of Simple Test (a): Machine Mother MOMO meow ear
I wish these weren't so overtly sexualised, though it occurs almost everyone else here doesn't. Think there's any way I could custom that moth MoMo to look a little less so? You may consider that heresay however. I just really like her design. I'm considering making her clothes.
>Likes the designs of giant sexy robots
>Doesn't like the fact they are sexy
I don't know what you were expecting, then.
But for a serious answer, Just make a robe or something for her, to cover up the majority of her body, but that would probably ruin the design unless you made it a red robe with a pale green fur lining.
One of the big things with MoMos is, as >>5324461 mentioned, modularity, but also some people just straight up customise their MoMos to be whatever they want with good old fashioned paint and scratchbuilding. Figmoe Lurker posted a super-customized bunny type just earlier, and in the WonFes edition thread there was a Miku custom posted, painted from one of the two WonFes exclusive MoMos.
Clothes are also definitely doable. Some other MoMos shown off at Wonfes had clothes parts and of course there's the nurse types, but it's also to be considered that pretty much everything we're discussing has yet to be released. You're likely gonna be waiting the better part of a year for this, remember that.
I dunno why you wouldn't want your robot gal to look nice, though.
I'd like Transformers more if they didn't have vehicle parts stuck to them. Why can't Hasbro cater to my needs?
Once a "Heavy Combat" kind that is loaded down with weapons is announced, you could probably take back cannon/thruster types from it and attach it to a mostly pink body and then put a circle-type helmet on for a good approximation.
None of the MoMos really have that kind of aesthetic. Closest you could get is one of the huge weapons of sorts on the Goddess types or military types, no huge backpacks or the like without the owner adding them themselves.
I also don't get why you'd want to make a character who's pretty much 80% western property out of a MoMo, much less one who can't transform, but to each their own.
I did some digging on Optune's twitter. Basically, the little impish fellows are scratchbuilt with Gunpla parts and then sprayed, by the looks of it. Pretty fitting for Optune, considering his origins, and pretty good photo results. Too bad nobody could ever buy 'em, though.
I don't expect my needs to be catered for, and I really do see how you could like how they look, because it's awesome. That's why I'm asking if I could customise it to be how I want, I don't expect them to make it how I want it because I'm not their target demographic, I just love moths and robots. I was thinking of either making some sort of skirt and top or a long sweater dress, within her colour scheme. I only asked because I really do like MoMos, they do look cool. Thanks anyway, if I cant somehow make her chest smaller (which isn't that big a concern really - moths do kinda look like that) I'll just make her clothes, I've made doll clothes before. I really wasn't complaining about the product.
It really probably isn't gonna happen. If you take a look at the stuff Optune posts and the prototypes he makes it seem pretty clear that tacticool isn't too much of what he's going for. Within month's worth of tweets and artwork, anything coming even close to what you're describing, like Cyuchergoh with a minigun, has come from fans. If it does happen I'd expect it to be even further away in release time than the animal-type and insect type releases.
>I have a fucking OBSESSION with moths
Does the lotion go in the basket?
>Wanted to get Clematis as I liked her color scheme
>SOLD OUT at amiami
>Check the other sites (BBTS, HLJ and Ekia Hobbies)
>Not available there
You're not quite out of luck. Hobbysearch and Amazon both still have her.
I've mentioned this before, but Amazon is the worst place, if the easiest, to buy MoMos (or most other imports really) because of the huge cut they take out of purchases drives up the price.
Of their other models? If they exist they're obscure as all fuck.
Of MoMos? Same deal.
In any case OE is already Chinese. Can't afford 'em? Want some? Have patience and save some money.
On AmiAmi they're mostly $65-$70 anyways.
I made the mistake of thinking most were sold out, Daisy, Chocolatte, Hi-Riridine, and Zwei are all still available. Ignore that deleted post.
sure thing, but this will be my first getting an OE figure
are you sure? I check amiami and their prices were like 20k yen and then these guys are auctioning it off so much lower, the figures they have are Lilith, Gaya, Mulan, Viola Vol. 2
The newest Generations lines with Arcee, Chromia, and Windblade were actually pretty sexy.
Arcee had thick delicious thighs and a nice behind, just a damn shame it had to be a Deluxe.
I would really dish out a shit ton of cash for it.
Anyone ever played WFC or FOC TF games? Arcee has a fucking thong.
I tried to play the game in multiplayer mode, but the lack of people playing is literally 3 and escalation has nothing but Decepticon lovers, and it was only one guy.
I couldn't find any online images either, so I'll provide you with an HD video of it instead.
Ignore the music for now, and focus on her rear bumper while she's in her robot mode, she has a defined butt cheeks for some arousing reason.
Arcee could fit in this MoMo line quite easily
This Arcee figure looks really good, it's a pity that we'll never have it
Her face is kind meh, but I like the body sculpt a shit ton.
MoMo could really pull off an Arcee and even a Windblade figure if they ever decided to.
>MoMo could really pull off an Arcee and even a Windblade figure if they ever decided to.
I really liked their recent figures, and MoMo doing their take on them would be pretty nice.
>All this TF waifufagging
C'mon guys, there's a third party TF thread for this kind of thing.
Besides that, Original Effect and Optune are likely never, ever going to do this. The MoMos are intended to emulate or expy gods, monsters, animals, and human figures, and this is evident in well-on every single released model and prototype shown. Again, because I said this before, if you wanted an Arcee MoMo you're gonna have to customize one yourself.
You can go check Optune's twitter or tweet at him or the like if you want to. Same deal with OE.
MoMo is the line name, not the company name.
Maybe the recolors will be released, someday. Reprints of the various waves, even? It'd make sense considering how the line's intended to work but it's a mystery.
Although a MoMo Arcee or Windblade would be something interesting to see it being made, I have to agree with >>5337171 that it won't be happening any time soon
So if you want one, You will have to make your own custom, if anyone try that, post pics here or in the custom general
Which MoMo are you eagerly waiting to be released?
Meanwhile a video review for Hi-Rirdine
Video review for Candy
Video review for Sunny & Rocketer
Arachnia and Octopussy.
Nurse types and aquatic types.
That and recolors.
Come to think of it, her name was posted a long while ago. Mantasia, or something to that effect.
It's also worth noting that it seems like Hi-Riridine and Chocolatte were actually planned to be flat gray and white from the beginning rather than gunmetal. Some expo pics and other promo bits show them in those colors, and only the promo bits used on sites make them seem gunmetal. Ah well.
Alright, anon with the broken Hi-Rirdine again. I take back everything bad I said about OE, because these people are really sweet. They checked out stocks and couldn't find any replacement parts, so they contacted me saying that they plan on "rebuilding a new one" for me. Thats really kind of them. It's gonna take awhile due to the festivals going on in china, but it's still really nice of them to be that considerate.
So yeah. OE customer service is pretty good, the only issue is they take forever to respond. I feel a bit better about ordering more of their stuff now. Gonna save up for more.
That's great news, anon
I'm glad that the OE guys could help you with the broken Hi-Rirdine issue
When I got Ingenue a few months back, she came with a missing hand, but she also comes with a repeated hand (pic related, the missing hand was a right sword-wielding hand)
At that time I contacted Amico (from where I get her) and they told me that they would contact the manufacturer to get the missing hand and after a couple of weeks, they got it, so the OE guys are cool, but they're slow, even in their FB seems like some people have posted comments about that they have updated their FB site with any updates or releases dates
Let's rejoice, Optune posted more update pics for the MoMo Eclair and Mygya
Neato! I feel it's less of a 'new' pic and more like 'old WIP stuff I kept in storage' but I think that's just me.
Fingers crossed on next release! This customer support thing also gives me hope that all of the MoMos and other figures will be released, even if it takes a while.
guys please help me. I've purchased original effect figure, 2 times already! and both times, I get a defect in the joints which are broken.
How on earth, can I contact original effect about this as I've already emailed them and there's no reply for the first one and what are the chance that they will replace the bodies for me? because the parts alone looks fragile and I do not even want to fix it myself. I'm really disappointed in this.
>Just received my payment invoice for Daisy and Eins
>don't get busted bits!
Well shit, Let's hope not or even a broken knee like Hi-Rirdine anon
>At least his endeavor taught us OE does care.
Yeah, that's something that makes me relax, that the OE guys could help in a case of a flaw in a figure
On a related note, someone have info about the pamphlet thing that appears in these pics?
IIRC Someone mentioned something about a magazine/dossier/pamphlet that Optune was giving in his booth in this last wonfes, not sure if this is it or it is something else
Well, this is new. Perhaps something interesting's in the works.
Any news on the vampire chick? Ekia Hobbies hasn't shipped mine.
Amazon had a major price drop for several MoMos, Daisy, Chocolatte, and Cyuchergoh. All now have relatively normal prices at ~$60-70 each. Eins and Zwei, Ingenue, Clematis, and Hi-Riridine are all still relatively expensive, however.
If you want to grab a MoMo off of Amazon for non-rape prices now's a good time, but you could get 'em elsewhere still.
Don't get your hopes up, that MoMo in particular is one of the super-custom prototypes. There's a bunch of them we don't have pictures of but I get the impression they belong to the OE staff.
Some translated bits of backstory
Come to think of it, I think the site may be another one of Optune's blogs, as it has most of the story on it as well as the next wave set for release.
Pic is a huge proto bust
Hardly, the only white one is Cyuchergoh, the only maid is Hi-Riridine, and Chocolatte, though sharing Hi-Riridine's colors, isn't a maid.
I mean, shit, there's only been seven releases. What are you thinking, that the alternate white types have been released? Fuck no, and it probably isn't happening anytime soon either.
Maybe if said palette swaps were released en masse there'd be something to say or some merit to what you'd said but as of yet all of the existing recolors have at least introduced unique colors to the line. Eins, Zwei, and Clematis are the only recolors, and I'd say that's pretty good so far, whereas Hi-Riridine and Chocolatte have introduced new (if boring) colors and parts. We also know OE at least cares, even if they're slow as shit with service. Have faith.
Which would you like to see being made in OE's Army Attractive/Killer Paradise line?
My vote goes for Bayonetta
I'm still kinda waiting on the "which combo" question. Hum.
>casually scrolling through /toy/'s front page
>see mention of a Rocketeer
>Think it's a MoMo referencing the actual Rocketeer
Boy that ain't no Rocketeer I ever seen
Here is another review.
at around 19:40 he starts to take the momo apart to show all the pieces.
>Anyone get their hands on Eins and Zwei et?
I just got Eins and Daisy this last friday
The cylindrical boxes are nice and better IMO than the first rectangular boxes
They looks really nice out of the boxes
Daisy looks good, the joint in her lower neck is a little bit loose (not too much DESU) but her hair piece and ears are a little heavy, so make her head to going backwards a bit too easy
>The best part is that it seems a bit like he's roughly to scale too!
Anon in post >>5414451 is riight, the pose skellie is too big to be in scale, but he is there just for fun
Also Daisy's necktie magnet isn't too strong, so I guess that's why her necktie can come off easy
More of Dat Ass technology
Here is Daisy and Eins along my other MoMos in group shot
She doesn't come with any other accessorie aside the extra hands, Maybe a extra hair piece or any weapon like Chocolatte or Hi-Rirdine would have been nice. Zwei is in the same boat as it only come with extra hands
So, if you want some kind of weapons for her, you will have to get some Koto's M.S.G kits or some gundam weapons
That's a shame. I got Nazibutt because she had a distinctive look but passed on White because she was a bit too plain for the money. Eins will probably be passed fro the same reason. Bunny doesn't do much for Me either.
Yeah, the lack of more accessories is a shame, Honestly, I'd like that they come with extra hair pieces, so you can change their look. A extra torso with different tits size would have be awesome DESU
I planned to got weapons from the MGS kits to give them weapons
I really like the look of these, so I got of couple questions:
Are they worth the price for the assets alone?
Is the build-quality good? I mean, can you mess with 'em without worrying about anything breaking?
>Are they worth the price for the assets alone?
If you want them? Yes, sure.
Most of the time it's fine. Sometimes you get a bad joint like Hi-Riridine anon but ~98 of the time it's all as it should be.
> A MoMo is something like 30ft tall?
More like 30 meter height according to the source
>The abbreviated name of the person type arms currently used with "MoMo (Movementess)" more nearly general-purpose than the star cluster calendar of the 2960s in this Galaxy.
>It is a thing of the category commonly called a "huge battle robot."
>Around 30 meters in overall height.
>The frame and the joint have also imitated it of human with woman type appearance.
>Though it is huge robot arms, it is flexible, and the motion near man can be performed.
Hooray, she's here!
More pics of box/accessories/outfit here: https://imgur.com/a/SCGxc
I was a little worried about her stability, I have a Cyuchergoh and she's a little wobbly, but Rocketeer is very solid, even with the launcher and the rockets on her back. She comes with quite a bit of kit and I'm glad to see can carry every bit of it no problem.
The pants were a tight fit, they barely made it over her hips & butt. Her tank top is bigger than I expected (the promo shots implied exposed underboob was your only option, but it's not)
The goggles were probably the hardest thing to get on. The strap is quite small and I'm worried about paint from the eyepiece marking her forehead.
The outfit doesn't restrict the articulation at all except for the long boots, and even then it took only a minute of fiddling to get her ankles to cooperate. I wish she had a separate set of bare feet but that's a minor nit. I think she's fantastic and worth every penny.
I know there is probably no one selling them but I was wondering if anyone who has the base feet for the Original Effects reborn body would be willing to sell me them. I HATE all the heeled shoes and would like just some normal feet.
I've still got an unopened Chocolatte I want to offload. I don't like the dark grey, and I saw the reviews too late to cancel it.
I'd gladly sell her for $65 shipped, within the USA, just to get her out of my house.
More hair pieces prototypes
Please god implement a better way to attach it to the head. The one I have is just held on by those ear horns, which keeps it on well enough but it wobbles around like nothing else. Adding extra weight to that equation seems like a bad idea.
I dunno, amazon had a Cyuchergoh for around £55, looking at those sites they are cheaper there, but not after getting shafted by import charges. Is the £60/$90 mark overpaying too much?
I'd get them but I only have a shoddy camera and likely-to-be-subpar lighting, plus I can't pose her well and I need to learn her joints better.
If I do take some pics I'll post them in a new OE thread as this one's on autosage.
Besides the paint she's pretty much exactly as advertised so far as I can tell.
The only complaint I have about her is that I can see some brushstroke on the silver paint on her thighs, but otherwise I have no complaints. She's also pretty solid, which is relieving.
I don't have anything to contribute but here is a quick picture I took while procrastinating a little while back.
