Merh Crabmus, my little /toy/ soldiers! It's that time again, from today until December 12th you have the chance to enter and win some LEGO prizes!
For those of you who weren't here the past two years, you might be wondering what the deal is. Create a Holiday MOC! It could be anything Holiday related, so let your imaginations run wild!
ALL ARE WELCOME, doesn't matter where you live! Email me ([email protected]) your address and a picture with something on it listing your name/trip, date, email address and top three prize themes. You can take one without to post here and then email me the one with the info if you don't wish it public. The info in the pic is so people don't steal random MOC from the internet and try to cheat. You wouldn't cheat Santa would you?
Now, on to the prizes... Santa enjoys a surprise, so he won't be telling you EXACTLY what you'll win but you have the opition of picking your top three themes you want a set from. Please pick the three themes you want the most(in order) and Santa will do his best to make sure you get at least one set in that theme. I do have multiples of the same sets so some Anons will get the same prizes. Here are the themes to choose from:
- Star Wars
- Harry Potter
- Hero Factory
I'll participate, I don't think I'll win anything but I'll try, it's fun to build.
I don't have a santa minifig, is it okay to make a custom one from regular pieces? I'm all out of cash.
While Asian Santa is my mortal enemy every year, I am found of some bizarre bootleg and third party stuff. So do what you want? You can't go wrong here as long as you're having fun! Though your prize might have to be different...
What was your entry last year?
>one of the prizes is Hero Factory...
As >>4556642 and >>4557760 stated, it's LEGO. So if you think you can make something holiday related more power to you!
Never doubt in your ability to build anon! Enter! Let Santa know you don't have a figure and he might have to see what he can do!
As >>4557956 said I eat the shipping/cost of prizes every year so far. Enter. I know I've shipped to Poland and the UK in the past.
I only had a handful of pieces last year and took a shitty iPhone photo but still won a great prize.
Just build whatever you can, but most of all enjoy yourself.
Punichu, you glorious bastard! You made my Christmas so wonderful last year by doing your contest.
Maybe this year since I have a bit more Lego (thanks to you) I'll be able to pull off a better entry. Although the majority of what I own is still specialty pieces/minifigs, so I'll still have to be super creative to make something out of it.
I apologize for the face, but this was pretty fun to make. Those antlers are not stable at all, staying on only because they're resting on the head and shoulders.
Makes for a nice steed for figmas though, sorry Santa for the Halloween Len in that pic!
Thanks, I'm glad I could help make your holiday great. Good luck this year! Make sure you note in your entry email you won last year amd what. I don't want to send people repeat prizes.
Very Lovecraftian. Neat.
Of course, just note in your entry email that you did and what you won. I don't want to send people repeats.
No telling of Santa's Secrets kids.
You can search me on Google+ to see all the past entries. They are not marked who won or not though.
Santa's a bit under the weather so he is late with his daily bump. Sadly not for the same reasons Rudolph's nose is red...
Thanks to you dear contestman, I've come out of my miniature dark age It's fun to build again! I've never thought houses could be so creative, and I've spent so much time on spacecraft. I've also cut both my fingers on a lego crate, but it's a good pain...
My entry last year, filled with lewd jokes and general inappropriateness. I wish I had a genie minifigure to drive the point home.
I'm on my phone now so I can't upload it, but here it is on Punichu's Google+ page.
I have a ton of blindbag minifigs but the only sets I had were the Castle series Jester & Wizard bags plus an Atlantis mini sub. I went through at least three or four ideas trying to make some kind of diorama before running out of pieces and having to start over again. Finally settled on the couple under the mistletoe by the fireplace.
Actually, I just looked them up and they were under the Kingdoms title, and came in small boxes. But with the amount of pieces they might as well have been bags.
Picked them up when they were $1 each at Wal-Mart. I buy the cheaper Lego items every now and then, but still won't pick up a big set because I know that would kick my Lego addiction back into high gear and I can't really commit that much money into buying toys right now.
here's my entry: Space Sled Train Ship
Benny and Kenny decide to help lighten Santa's load this year. Also cameo by Weird Al.
My entry this year is a little diorama of traditional Christmas morning. I had a lot of fun with it, although I had to stretch myself and my pieces pretty thin engineering enough wall for this.
>What's the framed tile?
the chima eris interceptor set is where i got it. i dont know if it means anything in that context. but if you pretend hard enough, it might look a little like a fleur de lis.
I might as well enter this, since it would be the height of foolishness to turn down the possibility of free Legos! The old thread I originally posted them in is dead, but all the pics are here:
I'll send you an email sometime if I remember.
Santa, I sent you an email, but I don't have any preferences on presents.
