Anon who took these pokemon photos I just want to tell you how brilliant they are, especially the poliwrath one. In addition to being very high quality and well composed they also perfectly portray the sense of childlike whimsy and adventure of the early game in the pokemon series. I know I sound autistic but these photos really spoke to me on an emotional level. The monster hunter ones are awesome too, keep up the good work anon.

Me as well. They remind of the Pokemon cards from the first base set that had CGI illustrations. Cards like Ghastly, Diglett, or Porygon were portrayed in simple settings and made me imagine them as if they existed in real life.
Looking back, that CGI isn't very convincing anymore, but I really appreciate those wallpapers in the same way.
