Pathfinder General /pfg/

What was the last thing that was taken for your character? Did he get it back?

I'm curious. Just how busted can you make a Betrothed avowed as compared to a standard eidolon or standard avowed.

Let's get some char-Op up in here
>>
>>55368772
compared to a standard avowed its about twice as powerful

compared to a summoner, its probably about.. 50% stronger? Less versatile but its a lot tougher and has a fuckton more damage.
>>

No, but sanctioned undeath has it's upsides.
>>
Would you rather gestalt with a matchless synth summoner plus free vmc barbarian, or gestalt with a celestial avowed with a free paladin vmc?
>>
>>55368954
Magic less, not matchless
>>
>>55368954
paladin probably because smite evil is a lot of fun.
>>
>>55368805
>mind expanding. I have the basic Avowed char-op options down but is it simply due to having essentially 2 characters? Or is it acccess to having things affect twice as often/twice as many targets as normal
>>
>>55369273
Basically yeah, having two characters is infinitely more powerful than having one character, aka the reason leadership is basically always banned
>>
>>55369009
I think the question was more along the lines of "is one of these obviously stronger than the other?"
>>
>>55369460
Its gestalt so i'm broken anyways who cares
>>
>>55369273
Things to keep in mind:
>any static damage or non-pulse damage is halved when using an Aether Pulse shape. Yes, even damage from an actual weapon you use channel on.
>last I checked, in order to use a clause at full CL it needed to take both betrothed and companion's actions, though that can be practically meaningless when a lot of clauses don't rely on CL

Then on the other side
>you have two full HD creatures in the board, both who can spec into different shapes, skills, and feats
>action economy fuckery can get nuts, especially with wands combined with shit like Aether Command to let you reposition party members all over the place while spamming buffs
>The companion doesn't need the typical Christmas tree shit because it gets them automatically, because ???

Hot opinion time: Betrothed was "tuned" in the wrong places to compensate for not trading much away while still giving a lot, something which only pushes it further towards the broken shit.
>>
Now, I'll give you a good dinner. You're gonna have a nice clean. Now, you behave yourself in the future and pay for what I ask you or next time I'm gonna make you eat your own shit.

His family, his village. His life. All burnt away by a madman that never got caught. He'll never even get the slightest revenge. He can't stomach the idea of a new family either, seeing as he was the only one to survive the first party wipe. They were so close to filling that void too. But alas, theres no room in his heart for anyone else anymore. I'd think thats what drives his magic after all, despair.

Shadow magic has been funded on less you know.
>>
>>55368724
Her hat of greater disguise was taken by a party member. She did get it back, which is good because she doesn't like people staring.
>>
>>55370211
I didn't mean shit like "hey faggots, build and stat out my totally 1337 ubercool grimdark sickcunt tiefling fursona for me please so I can impress all my players with how cool and edgy I am"

I literally just meant think of something interesting to attribute to him, like a specific personality for the sword.
>>
>>55370303
Make the Sword a Tsundere. it would be all antagonistic, yet help the wielder anyway, and deny any accusations of it helping their wielder for any reason than they just like having the guy around.

I doubt any of my players would even find out that the sword is sentient though. Maybe I'll just roll for the sword's motivations or something.

I should just have him send in really unhelpful letters of correspondence to agony aunt sections of the local newspaper telling people to figure out their problems themselves while he feels a misplaced smug sense of satisfaction.

>>
>>55370467
I'll have him teach my players how to fight better with swords by going "Why are you asking me for advice? I'm only more experienced at this than you are and I probably have a bunch of advice to give you but you should instantly know how to be a master swordsman merely from picking one up."

I actually really like the idea of him being a condescending dick though, so thanks for that, maybe this was your plan all along...

It's more like the Dev is kind of gulagged or so I've been told.

Otherwise. Too much stuff compared to similar classes and then some. It's like a better summoner
>>
>>55370904
compared to other pet classes its outright broken, not to mention that fact that the companion's stats and natural boosts put it far and above any eidolon
>>
>>55370817
Sometimes I play the big, beefy martial (usually due to my irl buds' party needs). However, I really like playing cunning scoundrels and smug wizards.
>>
https://pastebin.com/U2TtHTJL
Don't forget the once deleted logs too.
>>
>>55370817

I have fun adding personalities to the characters and drilling the party into an efficient machine. Also a bit of a jew with rewards and somewhat of an historic fag. The hero moments shine even more because I play either greedy, thieves, liars, perverts, or even evil characters.

>thinks the gulag is a joke
>>
>>55370979
but betrothed /has/ been beaten to death or so the thread says. We'll have to wait and see
>>
>>55371009
Betrothed is a meme and a mistake. Forrest should have just done more pacts. Would have got this shit out way faster and not get so mired in playtesting.
>>
>>55371045
Aspirant is kind of cool at least
>>
>>55371009
Not specifically Betrothed, dude, just something not beaten to death. Is the other archetype(s) as limp as they look? Are any pacts in desperate need of retooling? Hell, is there anything interesting about Spellburst Savant, a class I have seen mentioned exactly twice in passing this year?

>>55371045
Avowed 2 is going to end up like bloodforge infusions, and just bloat up so content that actually functions can be sliced off it into separate books, while the rest gets trapped in eternal playtest.
>>
>>55370859
What about playing those characters do you enjoy?
>>55370920
Similarly, what do you enjoy about those archetypes?
>>55370936
What personality, or personalities are your favorite? Do you find it rewarding to amp up the drama and heroics of the heroes by you yourself playing a villainous, or supporting role?
>>

nobody cares about spellburst savant, its name sucks and the class just isn't interesting.

>SBS is the forgotten child
>It's one of the best ways to gunmage without dipping shenanigans
I wish SBS got cooler things.
>>
>>55371045
Forrest's main weakness has always been her desire to pander to the anime flavor of the month. The betrothed is just this habit's most disastrous manifestation.
>>
>>55371118
literally the only reason people really know the class for is 'gunmaging'

on its own its not a good class, it does nothing to set it apart, ideally it seems to be trying to be 'the blaster mage' of people's dreams and nova hard but spheres just does that better and more interestingly.
>>
>>55371085
When it comes to scoundrels and mages, I feel like there's more opportunities to show off what the character is all about (mostly due to higher mental stats).

I like playing beefy knight dudes every now and then, but they just don't have the same appeal.
>>
>>55371137
That's entirely the truth. It's weeb pandering and we all know how that goes.

Realistically the only way for it to work is if it was a promethean alchemist tier class feature murder.

even then, the betrothed companion needs all its sparkles removed, there's no reason for it to have 20hd and free stat boosts, as well as free save and free attack boosts.

How the fuck the thought that would be ok when SUMMONER AND SPIRITUALIST EXIST is beyond me
>>
>>55371325
>promethean alchemist tier class feature murder
That's a step too far, on account of that then meaning the class would be wholly incapable of doing much of anything, rather than "only being good at the broken shit"
>>
>>55371343
Its turning one pseudo-caster into two, its incredibly strong. The class would be plenty capable without sparkles and a bunch of class features cause it would still have clauses and pulses.

oh lets not forget the bonus feats it has to because fuck why not
>>
>>55371359
It should honestly just be canned. Having two PCs like that is either a terrible trade and you barely can do the basic stuff, like a Promethean. Or it's outright breaking the action economy over it's knees. Betrothed should have just been a pact to another PC or NPC, maybe with the caveat that they don't get any powers from the pact (unless they also are an avowed with the same pact or something).
>>
>>55371430
It just shouldn't exist, its a mistake in about every way.
>>
>>55371359
I think you misunderstand, I'm saying a gutting like that swings too far in the other direction, as the equivalent would probably mean losing all Aether Pulse features with most of your pact features. Then, for good measure, stripping out everything but the bare minimum progression from your companion.

But, really, it's like >>55371451 says, it existing at all, let alone in the state it's in, is probably a mistake.
>>
>>55371470
yeah that would be about the cost it would take for the strength of the betrothed companion, your main character could be a commoner.
>>
>>55371536
the example I'm giving would mean you'd be two experts with clauses that require you both to focus on them, as the assumption is you strip out all the resonance effects and shit from the companion and neither of you then get any Aether Pulse stuff.
>>
>>55368954
I'll take the synth. Avian form, small creature, alchemist as my other class. Carpet bombing fun.

Have you ever and would you ever use Pathfinder for adventures in an urban fantasy or post-apocalyptic setting?
>>
>>55375384
I've done it before. However I did it in the following way:
>humans live on a colony planet that has been cut off from earth for some 600 years
>the colony is relatively large on a comforatable world, but lives under a stagnant totalitarian government
>the colony's entire social society is based around a recreational MMO used to determine everything from wealth to resource distribution (they live in pose scarcity by this is hidden from them)
>the game is filled with numerous semi sapient AIs and archaic complexities that are not understood
>the government itself holds all information on the MMO's inner workings from a world building, story, and mechanical perspective
>players switch between in the MMO which uses Pathfinder rules and the real world which uses cyberpunk 2020

This sounded much better in my head. Trust me it was a fun game to GM.

I can believe it, I did a similar sort of thing once except instead of Pathfinder it was Magic: the Gathering. Had a modern setting that contained a VR MMO with a fantasy style setting that was basically programmed by wizards (well, one wizard really). Ended up putting more effort into fleshing out the digital setting than the "real" one, hah. But it was important, since way to find the plot mcguffins was hidden inside the MMO.

>>
>>55377697
Mostly that they're just kind of one-note and I don't feel "we make you feel bad until you decide it feels good" is a very interesting villain schtick.

That and I can't shake the idea of "but Kytons were just a kind of devil back in 3.5."
>>
Hey, anyone have any links to maps in PNG form- I need a ton of them for a roll20 game I plan on running.
>>
>>55377697
Yeah, I use to live in Nidel and the Kytons were pretty great, but after I moved to Cheliax I just never see them around anymore. It's devils this, devils that, all the time every day. I was getting impaled on a stake by one yesterday and it made me think of this one Kyton that use to love doing that back when I lived in Nidel. His technique was better, although the Devil had a dramatic flair the Kyton lacked. Anyway, couldn't you branch your minions out a bit more? I know Asmodeus probably doesn't want any Kytons butting in on his turf, but see if you can't work out some kind of agreement or deal with him. He loves deals, and I would love to see a few Kytons around my neighborhood.
>>
>>55377726
Don't even start using maps and give your group false hopes that you'll keep it up. Just shittily draw walls on roll20 and place some props like crates, tables and trees and shit.

I'm still converting Constantinople to my Forgotten Realms / PF game.

The necromancer's tower will be located in the Galata district. The city's leadership made a deal with him centuries ago to build and protect the chain that guards the bay, not to experiment on too many human corpses, and pay his taxes. In return, they leave him alone.

The Elf Magus in the group will have his False Front located there to support the day-to-day operations of the cult and to build influence. I might also have him hunt Sahaugin for use as undead servitors, since they are not covered by the pact.

The dwarven district will be located in the Pempton area, between the inner and outer walls. The noise and smoke from the forges won't disturb the citizens too much. Most of it might be underground anyway. The Dwarf Ordained Defender in the group will have built his Altar to Dumathoin there it to build influence. This should prevent the PCs from interfering in each other's operations.

>I'm so butthurt about not being picked I will lie on the internet
What's it like being this stupid? What shitass app did you post anyways?
>>
>>55379662
Same reason why pfs considers to be synthesist to be broken. Because they look at the class assume its going to be played at a certain level and cry bullshit.

They forget that while the level 20 captsone is indeed amazing, almost no one will get to use it. The small list of prepped spells means that while it will have better utility the the sorcerer, an equally optimized sorcerer outperforms it in enough situations to be competitive while providing similar utility with ring of spell storing/mnemonic vestment.

The other arcanist archetypes could have been amazing but Paizo decided to listen to the same group of people who thought quick runners shirt was bullshit and decided to nerf it into the ground.
>>
>>55379710
But the tier list supposedly takes into account all levels, not just 20. Or at least, that's what the new one says it does, anyway
>>
>>55379754
The arcanist is probably the worst of the three arcane full casters during rusty level shanktown. It has the fewest spells per day and has to spend his first exploit to even hope to catch up. Meanwhile the wizard will supplement lower levels with cheap scrolls thanks to scribe scroll while the sorcerer has lots of spells and probably a very high initiative score.
>>
>>55379791
That's what I thought, which is why I originally asked if I was missing something. Arcanist just doesn't seem that amazing to me, until they have a few exploits to fall back on
>>
Reminder to all tierlist nerds that Shaman with Wandering Hex: Lore is the strongest, and arcanist nerds should just go and stay go
>>
>>55379811
Being a prepared caster (despite in a shitter way) is enough to edge the class into tier 1. That and it was written before the nerf came so archetypes seemed better then.

I suppose ease of use also helps since scrubs who have trouble preparing a specific list down to the castings are attracted to the class.
>>
Has anyone had a GM that just doesn't seem to give out much in the way of gold rewards? I'm currently in a campaign that's gotten to level 12, but literally the only magical items I have are those I bought at character creation, since I started at level 10. No one else in the party seems to be able to get together enough money to better equip themselves either
>>
>>55379886
Clearly he's telling you that you should've had a designated crafter in the party, or at least gotten Leadership for a cohort one. Oh, and obviously you need to start raiding random places for arbitrary golds more often so you can actually make that crafting happen.
>>
>>55379886

Bring it up with him and inquire about how the rest of the party feels about it. It could be that everyone else is on board and you just weren't informed/aware. It could be fun to play like that if you know to lean into it.

As someone who's had his share of stingy GMs not giving out wealth, what's /pfg/'s favorite method they've seen GMs do to keep WBL?
>>
>>55380293
>ten pounds
it's nothing! doesn't anyone on your fucking team know to bring Ant Haul everywhere they go? Do you not have a single fucking Strength character in the party? Mounts with saddlebags? Secret Chest memes?

There's a TON of ways to loot places when you're that high level, and you should by all means be using every one of them.
>>55380300
That's one way to go about it, sure. But if the GM isn't good enough to allow other ways out, that's a problem - and if he actively stops you from using other ways out if you find them, he's a bad GM and probably an asshole.

You don't have to follow the GM's plan just because you can.
>>55380316
That's fair enough, but especially being the face you should get Leadership and some nice loot grab methodology going right away. Just because you're following the GM's plan doesn't mean you should suffer for it, rather the opposite.
>>
>>55380293
disassemble it and put it in your backpack, carefully
>>
>>55380316
Then what is the problem?
Are you constantly encountering things that would require purchased gear to deal with, to the point where you are unable to proceed?
There are no other groups you can hook up with on the side, or convince local crafters to give you a loan?
>>
>>55380338
>You don't have to follow the GM's plan just because you can.
But why not, if you intend on playing the game?
If you want something with immutable rules whose expectations you can work, play a video game.
I trust my GM to do right by me, whereas you seem to hold yours in contempt if they don't run the game the way you want them to.
>>
>>55380356
There's another group that is working against the one we're indebted to, but they're outright evil so unfortunately my CG bard wasn't a fan of joining up with them, and neither were the rest of the mostly good party.
As for what we need the wealth for, I dunno. We pull through almost all encounters by the skin of our teeth, and I just feel like sometimes it'd be nice if I had another wand or two for utility, or if the martials had a bit better armor or weapons.
>>
>>55380356
It sounds to me more like the GM himself is making it difficult to do bookkeeping because he's too preoccupied with the story he's trying to tell. This is made even worse when sessions are ended while the players are in the middle of an operation, so even if they do loot a place there's no between-game downtime to say "okay we sell this stuff between games" because you're still in enemy territory or something.

>>55380410
If that's what you're looking for then ask your GM to start stocking enemy camps with spare wands, or maybe have a +whatever sword sitting pretty on a wall that they were using as a display of wealth and power, stuff like that that would make sense for the enemy to have but still will help you once it's yours.
>>
>>55380410
So combat is tough, but manageable with the equipment you have?
Then it's not actually a problem outside of your expectations of cleaving to the book, anon.
And I don't mean other adventuring bads, I mean other organizations. Craft/merchant guilds and the like, especially if where you are going is in a location they need some work done in and can do it on the way.
I'd say that working within your restrictions is part of your challenge, and is so on purpose, see what you can do and where it leads.
Have some faith in your GM, mang.
>>
>>55380409
That's not really what I'm getting at. Let me explain.

The game is a ship. As the GM, you're responsible for getting that ship to a suitable destination - the end of the campaign - with its load - the players - mostly intact. That is, without the players having a bad enough time that they just leave on you - which means preferably everyone having fun, the GM included.
Now as a GM you have literally every tool you can possibly imagine available to get the ship where you want it. Easiest is of course to just have someone at the wheel (railroading) but generally speaking that makes your players lack agency and thus not not enjoy themselves much. Thus you probably should resort to other means. Favorable winds or currents in a direction - the players are rewarded for going the way you want them, and get there easier. Threats of sea monsters - scare them away from other possibilities. You can do anything you want, but you will probably one way or another end up handing the wheel of the ship to the players rather early - because that's usually more fun. And that also means that inevitably, at some point the players are going to ignore your prodding and hints and carrots and sticks, and go (or try to go) in a completely unexpected direction, which might make them end up at a destination that appears drastically different from what you originally had in mind.

So what then?
You can stop them from doing it - take control of the wheel again - but again, that's generally less fun. You want everyone to get to do what they want! So instead you have to improvise, while also accepting and rolling with the improvisation of your players (who, unlike you, don't have a game script to follow).

Metaphors are getting big here, but basically; a good GM is one who knows how to both let his players run the ship, and how to get the ship where he wants; and even if he doesn't get it exactly where he wants, he knows how to improvise well enough that everyone is happy in the end.

You are saying that a GM should not put the players in disadvantageous situations, even if they are entirely manageable (and this one is, the anon said it himself) because not allowing full freedom is bad GM'ing?
Do you run games? Next, you'll complain about GMs who don't roll everything in the open.
>>
>>55380321
what exactly are you asking? the breakdown of howmuch wealth should be allocated to specific things?

IIRC no more than 15% of your WBL should be allocated to consumables (scrolls, wands, potions, oils), no more than 25% should be spent on any given item.

Wealth by level is never something that should be "used up" or /permanently/ diminished, if your character WBL is say 10000, and you have 1500 worth of potions/ammo/whatever the cracker and you use that all up, you're not expected to permanently stay at 8500 gold for the rest of that level; the expectation is that you'll over time re-coup that money.

It's also worth semi-tossing WBL aside for some things... particularly if they don't provide combat benefit (or the opportunity to make a ton of money). It's okay for your level 1 character to own a wagon or something that they travel around in, as long as they stow it at [guildhouse] they're affiliated with when it's not in use to travel to next adventure.

Is Ley Line Guardian (Witch) a good archetype?

I'm scurred about playing a prepared caster and am debating between this and a sorc.
>>
>>55380581
I do run games. And I fully understand the time and place of when you want to roll things openly and not.
Disadvantageous situations is not the point here. Some of this has been invalidated because of anon telling us more about his situation, sure; I was initially assuming his GM was more of an asshole than he perhaps is. My point is, when you're running a game, your players should be mostly fine with the shit you put them through - because obviously, otherwise they're not gonna be happy you or the game. This doesn't equate to "easy mode all day" - in fact, rather the opposite, because people generally enjoy challenges. But the fundamental issue is that you need to understand (which usually involves talking and listening to) your players, and maneuver your ship accordingly. If the players are underequipped/underleveled/otherwise underpowered for the stuff you want to throw at them, you should probably give them some means of powering up before you start throwing said stuff at them more often than a boss fight (or other thing that's acceptably rare and harder than other things to clear). Now if that means is random loot, strategic loot that gives you just THAT thing, money to buy and craft THAT thing, or something else - of course depends on your situation.

This is getting long and I should probably stop ranting.
>>
>>55380650
If this is your first time playing a full caster, I definitely recommend going for sorcerer instead - it has a much lower bar to mastery than a prepared caster, so long as you keep in mind to only add relatively versatile spells to your spells known list.

that said, any Witch that gets its full allotment of hexes (particularly the debuffs) is quite good, and ley line guardian is good if you really want to be charisma based. If you're concerned about the survivability of your familiar/spellbook, I recommend looking at the Mirror Witch archetype in Villain Codex, as it'll replace your familiar with a magic mirror that gives you a direct link to your patron..
>>
>>55380650
>>55380717
Ley Line Guardian Witch still uses Int as the spellcasting base, you know. The Hexes are also int based. It's Seductress Witch that uses Charisma.
>>
>>55380700
>I was initially assuming his GM was more of an asshole than he perhaps is
This is why I am calling you out.
You immediately jumped to a worst case scenario in absence of proof of such, and proceeded to sperg out with That Guy level advice. It seems to be a /tg/ staple to assume that the GM MUST BE SHIT BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL SHIT and the response is to try and troll/ruin their game.
I've run plenty of games, and put players into all kinds of shitty situations because the game is about succeeding in the face of opposition. OP had a tough situation, asked for advice. The proper advice is "Talk to your GM", not "CRASH HIS CAMPAIGN WITH NO SURVIVORS!". Then, he proceeds to say that he doesn't even know what he needs gold for, since what they are dealing with, while challenging, is still well within their capability, which means there isn't a problem other than his expectations not being met.
>stop ranting
It would be best, I think, unless OP has something else to add.
>>
>>55380749
Woop. Well, shows me for posting an hour past when I should have been in bed - I'm going to sleep.
>>
>>55380650
The big advantage of Ley Line guardian Witch over sorcerer is Hexes. They get most of their hexes, and the two they give up are lesser hexes that increase their caster level by 1d4 for the next spell at the risk of sickening (worth it).
>>
>>55380650
It's definitely an arch worth trying out, imo! LLG has some definite upsides, but suffers from some certain issues as well. It does well to know what exactly you're trading away and what you're gaining.
>>55380717
First, it's reliant on CHA as well as INT. Double mental stat reliance isn't generally something you can afford easily in your pointbuy. Secondly, you need good fort saves to use the caster level boost effectively.
Third, you have generally fewer spells that actually benefit super much from the CL boost than a sorcerer does (generally this is blasting), and also less ways of getting even more benefits from it (arcana etc).

Now that said, there are ways to use it very well, and especially if you have more than just 1pp in play spellwise. Hexes are always a really valuable tool. Your main comparison vs the sorcerer is basically boiling down to:
What's better for your idea, Patron Spells or Bloodline Spells? Do you need the sorcerer-only spells, or can you use the slightly smaller witch list for your idea? Are the witch hexes good and versatile enough over a bloodline?

Think these through and work it out. I played an LLG witch and it was fun times.

It's a /tg/ meme for a reason, though. And correct me if I'm wrong, but there were a LOT of red flags for That GM-ery in the first few posts.

Still, that's whatever. Looks like we got through another crisis by means of "talking to each other", eh? :^)

Only if you assume the GM is incompetent because a single player is complaining about something as banal as "not enough money".

Sup /pfg/, last thread I was talking about making an antimage sort and someone mentioned the overwatch style feats - well, I made characters who use it - basically the same character, but one as a Slayer and the other, a Fighter. I know this isn't the absolute 100% best I could do (probably wanna be a human for that, not to mention the needlessly high int) but I made a few RP choices as well; also, it goes without saying, the item purchases are just preliminary for now - the whole thing is,really. You can see the concentration checks required near the items,in the "story notes" section.Any suggestions?

What happens if something triggers to give you the ability to take the Overrun action while you're standing still? Say, a Siegebreaker fighter bull rushes someone from standing, which triggers an overrun attempt.

Do you just start using your movement to go over them?

Do people really read everything at once when they play a new class? I just get the gist of how the class works(class features) and then just select spells options and stuff that look relevant to me/ask on here.
>>
>>55381450
Skalds are better at fight and magic, and focusing into one thing.
Bards are better at skills and versatility, and multitasking/being a jack-of-all-trades.

Personally I like Skalds better.

Bards also have slightly better mind control game, since they get Suggestion/Fascination etc as performances.

>>55371138
So what makes a class appealing interesting to you, /pfg/? How could something like Spellburst Savant set itself apart?
>>
>>55381840
What makes a class appealing to me is if I look at the progression chart, and the class gains something every level. I look at the wizard, and it looks absurdly boring to me because it's just spells on a chasis, without that many class features. Meanwhile, I look at something like the Path of War classes, and I gain something new and exciting every level, as well as more usage of the classes "Power System" (Spells, Maneuvers, Powers, Binding, ect.)
>>
>>55381875
I think that might be an issue more with you than with the class.
When I look at the wizard, I see an impactful magic crafting/metamagic/spell-enhancing feat at every odd level. I see frequent new spell levels, giving me new abilities and more use and utility from old ones.

No, because unless you start at 6th level there's no way you will actually have all that in gold to actually pay for. Not to mention you probably can't just go to your local magic mart and find such a specific magical weapon.

Hey so I got somewhat of a dilemma

I'm playing a level 2 Duskblade in 3.5, but my DM just approved me for a Stalker from the path of war from pathfinder. Now I can either begin crossclass into it, or just redo my character and go for 3 levels of the stalker

And I was the one asking about recreating Baiken

and I'm gonna be doing this >>55374708

The DM said I could remake my character using this if I came in with the new character sheet to support it and proper source material which is the east part, but I'm just wondering if I should dip into it, or say fuck my duckblade and go full Bushi Stalker

Just getting into Pathfinder. People tell me that it's a lot more customizable and, if you know the rules well enough, will allow you to make almost any character.

How does one make a good-aligned Undead wielder?

Essentially, my character is a being that wants to make an army of light by reviving all of the greatest heroes from across the lands. However, I can't find a non-evil way of using undead? Best I can find is Neutral who specializes in evil magics.

Anyone help a newb out?
