No because I think it's wrong to complain about the fact that the player was summoned for a practical reason instead of just being dropped in a universe where monstergirls need human semen to survive, or where women exist to uncondtionally love people magically teleported to their basements. Claire and Irma seem well received.

I do admit that there are some big issues with Sylvia's and Eloise's descriptions. The first should be more curious about the player and the second should be more motherly (from the start to avoid the impression that she considers the player an object).

So basically, one of my parents died in a fire set by a local serial killer. After they died and I was Orphaned, I started getting visits from that parent trying to kill me. One of the local templars took notice, and had pity on me taking me in and training me in the ways of a Paladin of the order. However, none in the order could permanently banish the Ghost, so instead they bound an angel to me and gave me a magical amulet to ensure that this ghost which could not be destroyed would never actually be able to harm me.

And so, with the ghost always present in my mind (Literally taking off the amulet would be enough to bring it back) I developed a burning hatred for all things undead and so moved to the area most known for the blighters. I picked up quite a reputation in the town, for despite being an elf I was very good at my job. And sometimes that's all a family needs.

So, I travel throughout the area finding and destroying all undead that dare to drag their rotting frames above the earth in my presence.

Or I used to. My show's hayday has come and gone, I only got one missile left and my karate kick is jammed, and Billy has passed me onto his baby sister Susie. And now I enjoy a quiet retirement as Susie's with new pink decales, frilly accessories (she's a pretty creative little girl) and my karate chop action being used to serve tea. Perhaps it's Billy's brotherly nature rubbing off on me, but I like this girl.

Or maybe it's my buddies Slayer and the twins who I'm happy to have a cup of 'tea' with even outside of play time.

When days are really rough, I just sneak into dear old dad's room and reignite the action half of my nature with a little time with the girls of Sanran Kagura

I'm fighting a Succubus, I'd like to take a Paladin please... And what kind of monster could possibly adventure without best Doggo?

Rolled a 4... well, I suppose it was only natural what with my arch nemesis being a succubus and all.

I'm a Kitsune Bard that just so happened to attract the attention of a Succubus. (Well, I did pump my Cha high enough for it to not really be _that_ unlikely, considering the setting) who immediately started sending out mooks to capture me.

Fortunately for me, a large demon came out of nowhere and began smiting the brigands with a strange looking dog, driving them away rather quickly. He explained that he was a paladin of righteousness, here to protect the innocent and slay the evils of this world and since I was a magnet for all sorts of nasties, I told him he'd find plenty of evil to smite if he stuck around.

Unfortunately, people don't really tend to like demons very much, and it's hard to explain things like 'he's not actually so bad once you get to know him' to someone who's trying to ram a pitchfork through your innards, so we'll have to take things one step at a time if we want to get rid of this rather large bounty placed on our heads.

In the Putrid slum lies a cult dedicated to you due to the mark you bear. They have certain expectations of you, but mostly they do what you say without question.

The witch teaches you magic, and the cultists teach you skill with a blade. After a few years (of what is going to be quite a long lifetime for you, as you're undead) you'll have come to be at the very least proficient with both. (Undead don't need to sleep, eat, or rest. So you'll have quite a bit of time to practice and study.)

While you're learning your martial pursuits, send out your cultists to gather information on the nobility. Which ones are corrupt, which are just, which are merely 'going with the flow'. As soon as you feel confident, begin amassing wealth both through your own martial competence and your cultists. (As a side note, you should likely be growing your cult as you can.)

Begin bribing the wealthier nobles to do things that would aid potential heroes (Look the other way while I smuggle these goods in... well what do you know? The hero just so happened to pass by at that exact moment) and do your best to encourage your cult to assassinate the more dangerous nobles.

If threats too dangerous for you to combat show up solo or with your cult, you could ask your friend for help. After a time of these sorts of shennanigans, you should have given the heroes a foothold in the world. If you continue to engage in this sort of behaviour, you'll eventually be killed by heroes for being an undead abomination, but... y'know... things will be less shit for everyone else.
