Take 2 with fixed link and new thread. Guys, so for most people, the removal of the Planeswalker Uniqueness rule doesn't mean much, but as someone who has had a Reki, the History of Kamigawa deck for the last two years as their favorite deck, I am probably gonna have to mix things up.

I put an order in for a bunch of monogreen walkers and Ugin. (Karn was too expensive and I did skip bad Nissa, but more or less all the rest). And my friend gifted me a Doubling Season for my birthday. Since all walkers cantrip with Reki out, I feel I should add some.

Paradox Engine doesn't actually do anything in my deck as it is currently built. It just gives vigilance and might let me reuse a Bow of Nylea. Alhammaret's was considered, but I wanted more lifegain as I hated ignoring its second effect. Which is dumb, I know. But that's the reason.

Planar was put in when Kaladesh came out, but I never had the mana to play and activate it the same turn, so it just rotted in my hand. I can see how it could do work with Paradox, but I'd need like Gilded Lotus or mana elves for it to do anything. I only run one vehicle right now, the Skyship, which just helps as creature removal when I don't get fight.

Yeah, looking at your list, it is a completely different beast (though I do see some jank in there), but currently, the deck has very limited ramp. Paradox Engine would do fuck all without shit like Candelabra (490 dollars I don't have), Seton, etc. Rishkar is the closet thing I have to a mana dork.

Right now, if I cut the spiritcraft subtheme, I get 6 cardslots back. Some of which I can stick generic good legends that I haven't had space for, like Thrun. And I'd have space for walkers and a few more generic strong cards. I guess I should probably tear that bandaid off soon, but I did love gaining life and giving trample to team with Kodama and the Kirin. Then I could finally replace Primordial Sage with Soul of the Harvest.

Casuals like casuals because they lose to comp. Spirit of edh and shit cards run rampant.
Comp likes comps because they put up a fight while casuals would do nothing to their 3 turn win combo, so their investment of 3k$ would be unsatisfactory.

They're both fun if you play against equal foes. Casual is much cheaper and random than the other and much more accessible, but comp games take true dedication/autism and are preety fun when you play against other comps. I don't know if that fun is worth 3k dollars, but I'm no one to criticize how people spend their money

I play in a LGS league with powerlevel about 75% and it's preety fun once you're on equal footing

I love playing this deck, it always feels like I'm doing something relevant, even powerful, it's got a lot of lasting power even in a 6+ players games, but I just never manage to actually win with it.

Idk what I was thinking when I bought Elesh Norn; I guess it was supposed to be a shock when I casted her the first time in a game but it was pretty underwhelming and she didn't really do much for me before she got blown out of the game the next turn. In any case, I want to make my money worth my while so I was thinking maybe I could make a mono-white EDH deck with her at the helm, perhaps with a token theme. Hexproof was never meant to be a cover for color hate. Hexproof was due to people not understanding Shroud.

Color Hate is essentially stupid things that screw over one color. You shouldn't hate something as foundational as a color. Stack interaction also doesn't mean shit because protection isn't that and red counterspells have no base on the pie.

my issue with Scute was the lack of evasion I was seeing in the deck. Maybe its not an immediate problem, don't know the meta. Martyr's Cause is another card I think gets overlooked way too often. Its a free sac outlet that allows you to nullify the damage from any source that would be dealt to you/your creatures or others that you may want to stick around longer. It also doesn't target the source, so it gets through Protection/Shroud/Hexproof.

Sounds like you should just find activated abilities you like and include training grounds in a deck where you use a lot of said activated abilities.

I'd replace Spirit of the Labrynth with Alms Collector. It has more 'Gotcha!" potential and is less vulnerable to removal. Ethersworn Canonist looks like it only hampers your ability to play little dudes. Rule of Law would be better if you're trying to stop multiple casts per turn and you already have Eidolon of Rhetoric. Seedborn muse means you want to be casting on opponents turns. Yeva, Nature's Herald Facilitates this. Also consider Savage Summoning/Scout's Warning. Bastion Protector/Selfless Spirit are both worth considering, especially if you can flash them in. Finally, Novablast wurm for style-points.
