They have a 58% and 55% win rate. The Nippon have nearly perfect postionals to do anything and the north team are a better Orc team.

Warrior Monks strike me as kinda bad so I'm actually surprised. The Oni did get toned down a little (he was insane before) but is probably still too good.

I just want to convert my human team to Nipponiggers but I guess I could just play one of the human teams.

Remember that win-rates in secret league are a little skewed as most of the 70+ teams aren't that good.

Both would be tier 1 (50% to 55%) in standard Blood Bowl. Remember that in Blood Bowl theme comes first and balance second, some teams are better than others.

Northern? They have the lower win rate. Yes the Oni is a beast but it's still an unreliable Big Guy and the Sumo is slow, unagile and easier to remove than a Black Orc. No one on the team has access to agility on a normal and starts with no ball handling skills.

Any tips for playing against Orcs? All of the orc players ended up conceding or were not on my schedual so I don't have a lot of exp dealing with a higher TV team. The league I'm in skews agi. My lizards are at 1590 and he should be at arround 1800

Unless your Skinks are bloated, at that TV your Saurus should have a decent amount of levels. What it'll come down to is whose side has more Guard. If it's him, he'll be able to overcome the disadvantage in S4 pieces and you'll be in for a rough match. If you're able to cut anything before your match, you're just 40k short (assuming he's exactly 1800) of being able to bring Slibli, who is a great Lizardmen star and has Guard to boot.

Been trying the Norse out in BB2 LE and they seem to be far stronger than either Chaos, as everyone has blocks or Dwarfs due to their superior speed. I know they have Av7 but that doesn't seem to have hurt me too much so far.

Do the Norse end up falling down later on? So far in 1300-1400 TV they seem to tear people apart and can afford a bench.

norse suffered quite a bit from losing piling on, because they have a player literally built around it (berserker with jumpup), but they still do pretty well. keep the tv trim because the team does struggle the higher your tv goes, fire all linemen on first level except maybe a dirty player unless they roll a +str, agi or doubles for guard

Signups for /tg/ FUMBBL League IX are now open until next Thursday, but the League will start Friday night to allow me some time for juggling numbers and that. Try to remain active on FUMBBL around this time, I don't want any Dead on Arrival teams thank you.

We return to a two Division format, with Veterans being open-weight, with an emphasis on more developed teams, and Rookies being for fresh teams*.

In Veterans, any returning team with one season played will be permitted, whether this is League VIII or an older one.

In Rookies, Stunty teams have an exemption, and will be allowed in if they are under 1200TV regardless of seasons played. Stunty teams are the standard Goblin, Halfling and Ogres.

Long-term a hard cap of 4 seasons (in either division) for a team before Retirement will be implemented.

To submit a team, first ensure they are "Ready to Play", and that you've applied them to the group if they aren't already in it. Then PM me on FUMBBL (MauledByTheTigers) with their name and which Division you wish to apply for. I will confirm or deny your application, and post which coaches have in the thread at least once.

The team does perfectly fine taking nothing but Blitzers. As you say, Witches are usually only taken after the Blitzers have been developed a bit first, or simply not taken at all. And yea, Assassins are never taken.

To answer my original question, I'd probably drop the Blitzers to a 0-2 position to encourage people bringing at least one Witch Elf at roster start, and give Assassins MA7 so that they are a more viable option as both a runner/receiver and as a safety on defense.

Their linemen have disturbing presence with a hobgoblin stat line with regular access to mutations.

Blitzers are storm vermin with one less MA and horns.

The agile player is 8 ma 3 st 3 ag 7 av with dodge and stab to stab-stab the man-things!

Pox flingers murder everything from afar since they can get HMP on a normal roll.

And a rat ogre, yup (should be a ball and chain rat).

Everyone except the standard rat ogre are one slower ma than the Skaven team and focus a lot more on weapons and specialist skills than any team this side of goblins. They are FUN.

For me:

Human Nobility. Just make them Bretonnians. Failing that the knights more useful.

Savage Orcs. General access, that is all.

Slayer Hold. Skaven slayers are an odd mix of skills and don't seem to serve much purpose outside of a cheap leader reroll. Dragon slayers are OP, but with a price to match.

Pestilent Vermin. Replace the rat ogre with a ball and chain censer bearer.

Without talking about optimal play with stunty, which runs contradictory with stunty teams as a whole but to reduce the level of risk and be more "consistent", is it better to not use the bomber or fanatic in a Goblin team than to use them?

It depends if you have a league in your immediate area but if not, I think there are resources for both templates and the pitch online. You may need to visit a net cafe to print out the pitch though.

The mixed team are Underworld. No, they are not better short or long term. Skaven turn from a good team at the start to a bloody annoyance (for the opponent) later with your unstoppable scoring machines the form of Gutter Runners.

Underworld are OK but are ultimately a tier 2 team (below average). Skaven are Tier 1 (normal) team. Underworld are fun but Skaven are great. Just be careful as Skaven at the start are mad squishy.

Been doing the math for Steelhelm's Sporting Emporium sponsorship from Deathzone Season 2 and I think this is accurate. Someone correct me if it is wrong.

Chance of exactly two d6 rolling a certain result

As shown it is a massive increase of rolling something other than a normal on a level up, little reason to not get this sponsor.

I am beginning to see why Ogres are considered the worst of the stunties. They seem surprisingly ok at new or low tv but now that I have gone up to 1250-1400 range I am struggling.
