Not him but it depends on how much value you place on visual novels. If you like VNs, I felt it was above average in terms of presentation and writing. I paid $15 because the devs are cool guys and I wanted to help them out, but otherwise I might wait until it's on sale.

There's a small amount of /v/ meme humor thrown in there but overall I thought the writing was of high enough quality to recommend to people not familiar with visual novels. If it's a waifu-centered CYOA, quality over quantity, to be honest. Write more for less characters, since the whole point of the thing is to appeal the characters. Flesh them out and take the space to make then interesting.

I would say that any less than 6 ish is a bit too small. I wouldn't say there's an upper limit, though.

Our armies are non-existent so I'm relying on which require indirect methods (our new friends may be able to provide firepower). The biggest challenge will be re-introducing blood magic under the guise of moralism. I'm assuming that Indefinite Upgrade removes the low cap on Magic while keeping the higher rate of growth. The first months will likely kill me but at least I'll die ignorant of the potential lost to greed. How does this look for a "quest"? I've got about a dozen more I'm going to make, but before I do, I wanted some feedback on how this looks. The full page will have a bit of exposition on the top explaining how the system works, and the other quests I'll make. Basically, you choose as many as you want (as long as you have the setting requirements), then roll a d20 for each quest you chose. After that, you go to the next few pages, which have the quest modifiers and results. Different perks you chose at the start add/subtract from your score, then you compare your final number with the quest results. 3 possible endings result in 3 different outcomes. If you succeed, you get the quest reward, if you fail, you get the quest failure, if you end up in between the success and failure numbers, you get nothing. Each quest has different numbers determining the outcomes, along with what perks effect them.
