If someone were to try to specialize their Chaos team to Tzeentch or Slaanesh, what skills would they give them?

For nurgle you might as well play nurgle.
Khorne is standard bashy chaos, just only grab killing skills.
For Tzeentch you can do pretty much anything, just try to make sure that all your players are weird.
Slaanesh would probably have highly specialized players that excel at their specific jobs, whatever they are.

Tzeentch: Extra Arms, Two Heads, Big Hand.

Slaanesh: Claw, Very Long Legs, Prehensile Tail, Tentacles.

The problem with both is that Agility skills suit them more, but vanilla Chaos doesn't get those easily.

Got bloodbowl 1 dirt cheap on the summer sale. decided to try a campaign with skaven and got dunked on by skeletons and curbstomped by mummies.It was a massacre. Gutter runners make the pain worth it though.

Good new, since BB2016 did so well Games Workshop will be doing plastic teams instead of resin miniatures from Forge World.

Bad news is that plastic teams take longer to deign and make, but Chaos should be coming next with Elves around September.

Alright /bbg/, how do I make a team designed specifically and solely to ruin opponents teams. Not win games - but to kill, maim and permanently fuck up opponents?

What teams/skill combos should I be looking for?

Chaos or Nurgle. Block first for offence and defense. Mighty blow to hit harder. Claw to make armour useless. Tackle to nullify dodge. Frenzy to hit twice.

Guard on many to get assists / 2 die and 3 dies everywhere and jump up on double to block from the ground.

The guide is a bit out of date as the knights didn't have A access on normal rolls so make sure to get dodge and diving catch when you can.

For dodge that should be your first level up or sure hands.

Claw PO MB is the killstack yes, but if you're playing in newer rules where PO costs a team re-roll, it's worthless and you might as well take Tackle, or Tentacles if its a St5+ player. Always Block first though.

Well, GW is making new teams two at a time. Humans and Orcs with DS1 and Skaven and Dwarfs with DS2.

With DS3 there should be two more from Chaos Renegades, Underworld or Goblins.

I don't think GW are going to go through that till they get down to finishing the main version of the teams and even then I'd say its unlikely I would think. It would be cool for model variation but its not really necessary to have their own individual roster.

Night Goblins can easily be used as normal Goblins, Fanatic is/was a night Goblin and the chainsaw can very easily be replaced figurine wise by a ravenous Squig. Squig hopper too would be a great proxy for a pogo.

If you want to be really creative, you can easily use a night goblin with a sack of explosively toxic mushrooms as the bombardier.

I tried all of the mutation options on the Warpstone Troll as well, and at first I thought there just wasn't a model addition for 'Two Heads' in the game yet since it's an unlikely choice of skill-up. But no, something is definitely different than before. I'm spinning the player model, looking for another tentacle-head when I see it staring back at me, somehow creepier for its lack of movement and dead eyes.

With 4 players having frenzy guard is fantastic for not having to pussy out of attacks because the follow-up is unsafe. If I could go back and change anything I'd definitely change out the dodge and movement levels for Block and Mighty blows though, I had just assumed that because I rolled doubles/10+ it was best to take those upgrades now rather than cry over it later.

Also I chose guard on the ulfs second because I already had guard on the zerkers more than anything. I'm probably gonna do a rebuild now with starting choices of Guard -> Mighty Blow -> Piling on for the zerkers and Guard -> Block -> Mighty Blow for the Ulfs. But I really can't overstate how much Guard shines in tandem with Frenzy.

Plan for frenzy. Go for targets without defensive skills like block, wrestle, or dodge (if you've got Juggernaut you can occasionally go after block). Set up 3 dice blocks where you can (not hard on the blitz, he only needs 1 assist for an s3 target). Position your team to support where he's ended up after blocking.

The goal is to not leave him overextended where the opponent can get a standing block on him, or leave him exposed to a gang foul if he fucks up his block and ends up on the ground.. Most coaches won't try to blitz the minotaur unless they've got a really good piece for doing it.

Yeah I'm definitely feeling that guard on Ulfs first is superior now that I've spent a while levelling this build.

Guard and Frenzy really ramps up the more players have it, but more importantly if you want to insert a player into an enemy cage you really need 4 STR. More strength on the line of scrimmage never hurts either.

Is there a better general skill than Frenzy for the STR 4 Lineman I have by the way?

Just a heads up too, I would suggest to drop the Yhetee and replace with 3 Norse linemen. Its much better to have extra bodies to your team than otherwise.

For the Str4 Lineman , I would suggest Dauntless or Tackle.

So, with BB2 legendary edition coming out in a month we should clearly count our chickens before they hatch and guess what teams will be in BB2 chaos edition.

Clearly it will have Chaos (Pact) Renegades, Daemons of Khorne and likely the Slaanesh team that has leaked a few times.

But what else? Will Cyanide go back to Plasmoid and use one of his other teams (see included image), design more on top of the Slaanesh team or even use the test teams from BB2016.

Or make Fumbbl implode and use Simyins.

So yesterday, supposedly a friend was going to come by to teach him to play, never came and end up playing alone so I play Tv1000 chaos chosen Vs human, I began to play a few months ago and never played the pc (master race) game so I never play league before

Chaos
1x Minotaur
3x warriors
7x beastmen
3x RR
1x FF and 1x Cheerleader (because just have 20k to spend)

Humans where
4x linemen
1x ogre
4x blitzers
1x catcher
1x thrower
3x RR
1x FF (because 10k to spend)

I usually play chaos, and was my first time playing humans, so I play the game and the final score was 2 humans 0 chaos and I really like play against someone else actually

But at the end of the game, I count SP points and man it's a different game with league rules
The Minotaur kill the ogre and a blitzer, a warrior make a minor injury on the catcher
The catcher make one touchdown, and the thrower was Awesome making a miss next game on a Warrior, scoring a touchdown
Then I roll for MVP and I got the catcher and the Minotaur to 10 and 9 SP so roll and get +skills on both (so I mark dodge and claw) and humans earn 70k and chaos 50k

Then it hit me, even humans won man they got on a bad spot, losing a Blitzer and the ogre on the first play of a league it's a really big blow, so besides of trying to win the game you need to minimize the injuries in your players, this game is Awesome I got no idea of how much I was missing out

So I asked you, any general advice to build a team for a league, for example I realized the I need a bench , and spend on FF, coaches and Cheerleader is a waste I think, apothecary is damn useful and if I got cash to spare is better to save it because.

Fan Factor you accumulate naturally, so no need to ever spend money on it. Coaches and Cheerleaders are a mistake, yes.

If you don't start with an Apo, it is your first purchase. Next would be a bench. Humans don't really need much more than their Ogre, Blitzers, a Dirty Player and a bench. Catchers and Throwers work fine but you can play without them.

League strats are generally two ways:

Risky or Safe

In safe you'll take suboptimal starting team rosters with things like Apos or Big Guys (ie woodelf treemn which dramatically reduce woodelf injuries, it's 33% or something crazy)

in Risky you don't care, and you don't even replace linemen (more of an elf playstyle) you just go all in on getting beefy positionals (kind of like a vampire playstyle)
