Time to retire, immediately. I mean, if you can affect time so that you jump timeline and people don't really have the enemies or have to order hits, then money are also not a problem. Your logic is like that that gave rise to those funny machines that operate on interaction of weight, pulleys, levels and whatnot to do basic, very simple things.
>>
>>54612126
DC is better than Marvel for shitload of reasons. Though I still prefer my manga
>>
>>54612859
>if you can affect time so that you jump timeline and people don't really have the enemies or have to order hits
its more "give me $10,000,000 and i will shoot tony stark as a baby"

its not reality warping, its killing someone in the past- naturally whoever ordered the hit will no longer remember tony stark and so wont order the hit, hence upfront money

>>
>>54613000
Don't bring that shit back up. It's your own fault for constantly replying to shitposts.
It's pretty obvious that most of them just didn't like the idea of a textbook styled cyoa. Replying to them won't do shit. It's like trying to argue with someone who doesn't like waifu cyoas.
What you should actually do, is just tone down/completely remove that background texture. That goes completely against what a textbook looks like. It just makes people expect something, that it's not supposed to be.

True, with exception that there's one more important poin when it comes to manga - it's still nowadays being in biggest part about story, not pushing socio-political agenda - a thing that dominated Marvel writing and turned most of the characters and storylines into shit.
>>
>>54613006
Naw the sites interaction with jpg is weird and the file ends up growing in size between upload and download
>>
>>54612749
Why is this post considered shitposting? Because it's sarcastic?

All it is really saying is that SDA's design misstep was subtle and minor, not really their fault, and will easily self-correct as SDA gains experience with the aesthetic. All this wrapped up in the playful criticism of SDA's unwillingness to accept the possibility of a mistake on their part.

Honestly it's incredibly tame, friendly, and flattering as criticisms go.
>>
>>54613005
>shitty gimmics
Like big eyes and super-deformed style?
>>
>>54613137
>have it be about cyoa "authors"
Arguably true, though may be fun from time to time.
>involve rolling in a big way
Absolutely true.
>involve mystery boxes in a big way
Wrong.
>involve being a little girl in any way
Wrong though excessive use of such may be harmful for a CYOA.

I think you mistake "if you don't want me to like your CYOAs" for actual "anybody to like your CYOAs". Whatever I may say myself about elements you mention, the truth is that people on average don't mind the first point and enjoy third and fourth if done right and to claim otherwise is either lying, being newfag or stupid.

You missed a shitstorm last thread.

Apparently my design choices for my last CYOA made it a failure. It was horrid; even made one anon blind in an eye. They bullied me and chained me up, screaming that I made the ugliest CYOA in the universe.l with every swat of the paddle.
>>
It's metadata. 4chan strips most of it when uploaded but the upload still can't be above a certain amount. Even a brand new computer would increase the size of a file saved from here.
>>
>>54613374
I think it would be helpful to have more of those sidebar comments and info you see in modern textbooks, like the blue box you have beside a title, but i don't know how you would actually do that without increasing wasted whitespace significantly.

Gonna check it out. Did you perform graphical equivalent of Eronomicon or something?
Sorry, couldn't help myself
>>
>>54613602
I wanted to have more but that risked space and I didn't have enough alternate portraits of the students. They were originally intended for the actual textbook and would give more useful/insightful trivia.
>>
>>54613659
Again, I don't know what to do about space, but as for the portraits maybe you could instead use an illustration of some key aspect of their description and link that? Or maybe even an unexpected illustration that is linked to the character by the text description, that reveals a hidden side to them? But the whitespace/margin really is the main thing hindering it and not easily solved.
>>
>>54613289
Do you merely enjoy being vague and unhelpful, or do you really not know?
>>
>>54613655
I looked and found nothing in particular, beside some file you've deleted and some random textbook pages that don't seem to be CYOA. What gives?

I looked too, Sandra didn't post the cyoa with his name.

>>
>>54613747
People didn't like the plain white background and limited design.
>>
>>54613441
The cyoa wasn't particularly bad, just one particular decision. SDA enjoyed getting bent out of shape over it for some reason.
>>
>>54613747
Can you link that CYOA then? I want to know how he fucked up if at all.
>>
>>54613374
An isolated failure is just a failure, no big deal about it. Are you sure you are not adding that "cataclysmic" part yourself, for the drama?
>>
>>54613727
I'm not sure if tinypng could actually make it small enough to repost. I might try it as an experiment, but I don't know if people will widely adpot it.
>>
>>54613566
the biggest problem is the existence of the older version. It's more complex and shiny. People going "it's too basic" really mean "I want it to look more fancy like the original version".

So. I don't even really know what I have here with Nanomachines 2 boosted by Alien Tech 2, but I know it's good. It's basically a blank check on what I can do. I'm thinking, between 10 and 12 power points, and they're all general so I can spend them on anything in or outside the cyoa, but I still can't go beyond the relative powerlevel of the cyoa. My versatility is limitless, but it's gonna take a long time to learn to use that versatility to its full extent.

I'm tempted to go full ham and rant about NANOMACHINES, SON, but I honestly just wanna be the chillest mid-to-high tier hero ever and hang with Spidey.

Even if you can only fully understand and replicate 1% of the superpowered people, you could easily turn yourself into a god.

>>54613336
I think it has more to do with their general submission to law and order, rather than any sort of hero/villain ratio.
You can be a hero and still break the law.
Cap did during the first Civil War.
If the Punisher was on here he'd be like 95%–100% Renegade, and he's one of the best heroes out there.
Meanwhile Doom (who is generally a 'villain') is sitting at 30/70 because he does follow his own code, even while ignoring everyone else's.

It's really just human nature. The best way to get through to him is to make your point succinctly and move on, the longer you go on the easier it is to make a slip that will discount your whole argument. Most of the authors put a lot more though into their shit than we give them credit for, criticism does get through.

When they're supposed to be part of human society, like a house pet, you don't get angry. You just put them down or put them out.

If you're an animal that happens to be a thinking person also? Maybe have the foresight to leave before biting another human being. Having the self control of an animal is the kind of behavior that will stick in peoples minds and form their opinion of you. Similarly, a tendency towards self-control, patience, or kindness will go far.

Not exactly the kind of person you'd expect to be associated with the premier scientific society, I'm nevertheless one of the field agents with the most autonomy. You wouldn't expect a scientist of this caliber to also be a charming rogue, a peerless thief, and a ruthless assassin when the situation calls for it.

Working out of a safehouse near to a Overnaturliga hub, I'm sure to bring my colleagues live specimens, eldritch tomes,
and research obtained in my hunts. So long as I produce results, questions are kept at a minimum. It's really for the best, due to
my little problem.

It started out with a slight predilection for manipulating the human mind, one of the mysteries shared by biology and psychology.
We are awash in dark and evil, what makes a human go on? What motivates them? Is it chemical or something more? To that end, I became obsessed with hypnotism, reprogramming humans and attempting to reprogram some monsters, to test the limits of the conscious. My pursuits went a little too far when I read the De Vermis Mysteriis. I gained a talent for Illusion magic to complement my hypnotism, but at the cost of angering the cult who were the original caretakers of the tome. They've been at my heels ever since, seeking to rip the knowledge from my mind and utilize my body for some other purpose.

Any ideas?

okay okay, half the characters are irreparably ruined because of shitty writing by SJWs and heroes constantly fighting other heroes in mega crossover events.

That's fine. It's fine. We can just kill off the ruined characters, then bring back time-travelling versions of them from before they were ruined.

But we have to make it socially responsible, right? So now the white male characters are going to reveal that they're actually gay, and living a lie all this time. Also the women time travellers are going to be ugly, and the male leaders will step down to let the ugly women lead. That will free up the former male leaders to join groups of diverse muslim and black knock-off heroes.

And we have to make it interesting, right? So the old time-travelling team can fight their former leader's new black/muslim team in an all-new mega crossover event!

Marvel!

>Forest
A rather plain choice; no major advantages, but no major disadvantages either.
>Dock house
The amount of fish hear allows for a fairly easy supply of food, whilst the alligators will make a decent trap for any creatures that dare to attack me.
>Fairy in a Jar
So long as I give detailed orders, I shouldn't have a problem. Perhaps it can scout for and return food.
>Halo of the Saint
Not only will the ability to walk on water prove to be a massive boon, especially with my current residence, but it's also aesthetically pleasing.
>Allies
>The soldier
Someone on the team with combat experience is indispensable, all things considered.
>The Priestess
Given the presence of alligators and monsters, being able to heal any wound is vital.
>The Carpenter
With all the trees nearby, hopefully we'll be able to construct some stable fortifications within the first three days at least. If not, well at least we have some spare food.
>Trackers
>The Orc
Dumb Brutes still need to breathe, yet another reason why I picked the dock on the lake; he just might be dumb enough to follow me, especially if I provoke him with the fairy. The halo only makes this easier.
>Goblin Tribes
Another tool using species is a nuisance, but those very same tools will give us a resource for bartering with the Merchant.
>Slimes
Yet again, it comes down to the lake.
>Skeletons
A hammer will be good enough against them, possibly taking each one down in one hit. Perhaps their clothes or bones could be sold (bone meal is good for crops.)
>Sky Whales
The sky is the last place we want to be aiming.
>Heavy Rain
At the very least there will be fewer slimes; though we may need to take a boat and leave for the cabin if things get too bad. At least I can still walk on the water.

So, to further detail my plan.
>Arrive on the Island
>Harvest resources as soon as possible; in particular identifiable fruits and fish.
>Will have to start working in the rain with the Carpenter, but hopefully it won't be too bad.
>Hunt down goblins and sell their tools to the merchant in exchange for supplies. Priorities are weapons, clothing, and ammunition.
>When the orc comes a knocking, it will be withing three to seven days (that rain will slow him down even more for sure).
>When he does arrive, I will try and drown him in the nearby lake. Maybe get him eaten by alligators.
>Try and avoid the skeletons.

>The soldier will be the main defense of the party; helping hunt and hunker down the fort if need be.
>The priestess will be the healer, treating everything from swamp foot to no foot.
>The carpenter will be the one to plan the fortifications, and though the rain makes it difficult to build them, it's better than hyper aggressive monsters and a pilot of questionable morality.
>I will be the one to organize and the main forager, as well as giving a helping hand whenever necessary. Since I was also in Boy Scouts, I should have a few skills to help us survive such a situation.
Some things that are uncertain, but I'll still try and do.
>See if the merchant has any arcane items for sale; while I am not certain to bring them with me, if I can then that would be a massive boon for me.
>Ask where the priestess gained her magic and if I could learn it. If not, or if it would take more than nine days, then I say it is not worth it.
>If I can take any money from my dealings with the merchant with me, then I will sell what I can and split it with the party; a little bonus, I say.
All in all, if I play it safe, only take risks when the payoff is good or guaranteed enough, and kill the orc when he comes around, victory is guaranteed.

>Light
Overall well balanced and dexterous, it serves as a rather fine base for my plans.
Features
>Extra limbs (arms) (195)
You’d be surprised what an extra set of arms can do, how much productivity is added.
>Gills (190)
For research and escape, being able to breath under the deep will benefit me greatly.
>Natural Weapons (180)
Simple and brutal, yet great for an emergency in a fight.
>Fins (165)
Because if I’m going in the water, I might as well keep my dexterity advantage.
Body type
>Hunter (125)
If I wish to survive in this crazy world, I must become like those who came before; a powerful hunter.
A.I.
>Engineer (115)
For something to repair my suit when I fail to remember. A well maintained weapon is more powerful and effective than one that isn’t.
User Interface
>Brain Implant (95)
I’d hate to be caught without my suit.
HUD
>Suit Status (free)
>Thermal Vision (free)
>Night Vision (free)
Since it is free, there is no harm in taking it.
>Radar (85)
Having an understanding of your surroundings is important.
>Sonar (75)
Same principle as radar.
Comms
>Radio Transmitter (free)
>Defense maze (65)
By preventing others from hacking me, I remove much of my weakness.
Weapons
>Plasma Bow (Silent)
If I want more weapons, I could just loot others. How hard could it be to find a knife, that which nearly every kitchen has?
Upgrades
>Environmental controls (all) (free)
There are many things that can kill a man, and most of them are from nature.
>Capacitor I and II (45)
Required for the Hunter mod
>Cyber Brain (35)
Essentially immortality.
>Martial arts (30)
In conjunction with the natural weapons I also wield, this makes me a far more dangerous hunter than others realize.
>Solar Panels (20)
In the future, I’m going to need this. When my body has all but decayed, my suit will be all that is left. I’ll need to keep it active for as long as possible
(cont.)
>>
>>54617474
>Armour Plating (10)
Currently my suit is still fragile. So preventing injury to it with greater plating is a great investment.
>Mycelium (0)
Even if in the future I won’t need to eat anymore, sleep may still be needed. Well, it would without this.

Unlike my contemporaries, combat is not my primary focus. While it is indeed an important aspect, and indeed I will engage in it in order to save this planet, my main goal is merely the acquisition of knowledge. My newfound brain makes acquiring this knowledge and accessing it all the easier. Books, stories, perhaps even downloading the internet itself. All I shall do, and all for humanity. With this knowledge I will find a way to create new inventions to help humanity defend itself. In time, perhaps even the secrets of the power armour itself shall be revealed to me, allowing for even further upgrades in time.
Of course, what is infinite knowledge if you don’t live long enough to use it properly. Hence where the cyberbrain comes in. With it I shall transcend the normal lifespan of mankind, living for centuries while the others age, die, and are born again all around me. In time, I shall lead humanity into a golden age, and I shall remain their leader, long after the war.

Hmm. As a superhero, I'd have to say that survival (i.e. not getting my shit wrecked) is going to be my priority.

Magic and technology are well and good, but having a durable body and durable mind would be the best way to survive encounters.

To that end, Kevin Masters, Balrog, and Mantis would make the best mentors. Mantis is the only paragon outta the three, so she fits best.

4 Physical, 5 Psychic, 3 General, 10M

Skills: Telepathy (U), Precog (U), Speed (U), Healing (U)

Equipment: Utility Belt (U), Guns, Explosives

With this build, I'd have precognition+speed to evade and attack with near perfect accuracy. I'd have healing factor to hopefully survive things that for some reason I don't forsee, as well as Telepathy to perform mind attacks as well as act as a mind shield. The combination of knowledge and evasion should make me difficult to fight or kill.

As for equipment, I have the utility belt to assist in infiltration and guns/explosives to win physical fights. I'd take upgraded guns, but doubt I could withstand the recoil of anything too strong. With basic guns/explosives and speed my objective would be to blink behind people and put a sawed off shotgun or satchel charge into their back. Presuming that they were not vulnerable to my mind attack. If those don't work, then I'd run.

The layout and design of this CYOA is beautiful, but I'm not sure where to go from here. I'd join the local Justice League branch and see where things go from there.

Wait, so can you only take ONE companion? Since this part seems to be differently worded from the other sections that say you can get more for every drawback/malignancy you take.

You are free to take more than one if you would like, in hindsight there is really no reason to have the limitation and it is not something anyone pointed out
>>

I like GIMP because photoshop's undo is kinda stupid and annoying. That said, I guess I should make a build for this now that youre gonna stop working on it.

Biological Form. Steady and not too bad for my health and no risk of catching the eye of an outer being.
Malignant: Twice as Bright , Marked one, Ichor blood
Mutations: Regeneration, Darksight, Ranged option (Ichor blood), Reactive Conditioning. So my attacks is basically spraying my blood, which actually makes me stronger the more I use it until I heal up.

Drawbacks: Addiction. The only one thats not terrible and I can deal with. I think I can break the addiction.

Traits: Preserved Visage, Controlled Progression. These two should give me a good advantage in dealing with the uppers and possibly earning my way out.

Companion: Maaaan what do you mean I dont get one for free. Fine. Lets do sensory deprivation. The fuck is gut feeling? It's going o be either that or smell so ya know.

Companion: Irvine , she looks pretty human and her connections will be very helpful. Plus, she seems like she'd make a cute little pet.

Plan is to talk / earn my way out of this pit I guess and into the uppers.

Missions: Onward and Upward. That was the whole point is to more or less be acceptable to polite company.
Second, Survival. Really just kinda hanging about and slowly piling on achievements. You know the drill.

Currently working on a CYOA themed around becoming a fighting game character, and I thought I'd ask her for ideas on perks to help me brainstorm.

Basically, perks are little bennies you can choose; I'm thinking you'll get two or three, but certain backgrounds can give you perks for free, and if you take a disadvantage you get a certain amount of perk choices (or extra skill points, to be assigned to Power, Speed, or Spirit).

So far I have a couple ideas.

Minions - You have a bunch of nameless lackeys who'll do your bidding. They won'g stand up to another Fighter in a fair fight, but you can use them for fodder, cheating, whatever tasks you want.

Wealth - You're rich. You always have money to spend on things you want, with all the benefits that carries. You could even try bribing other competitors, or make friends by throwing some cash around.

Fanclub - You have a fanbase, people who come to all your fights and cheer for you. Their support helps you fill your Spirit meter faster, and if you're close to defeat it may instantly charge

Mark of the Demon - You harness the powers of dark chi, letting you do double damage on all attacks. In exchange, you also take double damage from all attacks.

Those are the ideas I have so far, any more come to mind /tg/?

>>54618696
Sort of, both of the two adaptations have issues, such as one of the episodes in the 2011 version was almost entirely narration despite the fact that there was a battle going on. The story itself though is pretty solid.
>>
>>54618791
too little information to go on. Sounds like a standard cyoa.

develop and come back later
>>
>>54618696
It's a fanwanked anime so you will get either haters or fanboys, so I'd recommend to take a look for it yourself.
I'm on the first group, mostly because how edgy some of the cast was on the few episodes I watched like 10 years go.

I'm going to Nueva Plata to carve out my own nation.
I think I'll align myself with the Templars. As an organization that has recently changed pretty fundamentally, it seems like something that I would be able to subvert at least a part of to my own ends, if their vows would ever prevent me from following my own designs. But protecting the weak and smiting evil are perfectly acceptable strictures.

>>54596979
I get combat training or hardy for free, but I want them both so that's my first skull gone.
Outdoorsman and Athletics also seem pretty necessary for the life of a warrior.
Charming is mandatory for anyone who wants to be more than a lackey. Hypnosis is a better tool in certain other situations as well.
Fortune telling seems like something any wise man can use.

Not going to bother with companions that don't have descriptive titles.

Except a housemate isn't a word, people with siblings don't call it a roommate since they're fucking siblings, and people in prison call it a cellmate. A roommate is the person you share rent with, the only one of those situations that it applies to is a university student, since they often rent houses or apartments in groups due to being poor.

(first part of the build)

I hail from Chauve-Sourispays

I have no affiliation, I'm a lonely hunter who travels constantly from towns to towns, from villages to villages, from hostile places to hostile places. (my build will be some kind similar to a witcher). I am free but my freedom has some cost.

Skills :

Observant (12), nothing can escape my gaze
Athletic (11), my style of fighting is entirely based on agility and dodging, just like the one of the witchers
Combat Training (10), I master the mysterious dance of the sword, a style of fighting that comes from the Far East. My moves are like an hypnotizing and deadly dance (similar to the water dancers' style in GoT). I fight with a thin rapier, a perfectly adapted weapon to touch extremely quickly the vital points of monsters with an extreme precision.
Marksman (9), I addition to my sword, I wear two revolvers at my belt with which I'm particularly skilled.
Outdoorsman (8), As an independent hunter who is perpetually traveling, I have to know well how to survive by my own into the wild.
Thief (7), My childhood in the streets of Jouvence, the capital of Chauve-Sourispays, taught me the art of the pickpockets, which have been extremely useful, and during this period of my life, I created some important contacts with many guilds of thieves in the all continent.
Wordly (6), as a traveler, the reason I chose this skill is obvious.
Forensics (5), As a direct result of my sharp sense of observation, I am an outstanding investigator capable of unraveling the most difficult intrigues.

I'm maybe a lonely hunter who try to never keep any relationship with people I met, unless I think it will be useful in the future, I have to fellow travelers who joined my company in spite of myself :
>>
>>54619111

The first is Rhona, a young woman who admires me since I killed a monster which had slaughtered her family. Without leaving me the choice, she became my disciple. She follow me everywhere and I tried hundreds of time to abandon her but she always found me several days later. So, I accepted her as my apprentice.

The second is Mihail Severin, a mysterious guy I crossed the road and with which I quickly became friend. When he revealed me his true nature, I swore to kill him if he ever lose the control of himself. That was the condition to join me. He accepted. From this day, we lived countless adventures together.

Assets :

Amulet (4), useful for protecting yourself from magic and curses
Gypsy contacts (3), I became one of their allies when I defeated a horde of demons which was threatening their caravan. Now, I'm sure to have friends everywhere on the continent.
Reputation (2), my feats are known from all over the country and I'm even the protagonist of a serie of novels which describe my adventures. (I'm as famous as Geralt is in the world of the Witcher)
Safehouse (1), my own Kaer Morhen.

I am pretty sure it refers to people you share that house/flat with. Technically, family members living in the same house are roommates.

I'll be relying on the few small enemies driven from the lake for food. The Demon will make hunting (and sleep) harder but is only as dangerous as the weakened mobs.
>Heavy Rain, Crashed Pilot
As long as we scout some high ground the rain is a plentiful source of water. If the plane crashes first the carpenter could even rig some proper catchers which the author could sell on for considerable profit.

Could someone please give me an idea for how an infinite library would work? I'm doing some writing for the CYOA where the world ends, and I remember the Emerald Shard option had a gigantic library inside of it. Since it also provides immortality, I figure I should just boop it up to endless library, but how would an endless library work?

The library leads the a pocket dimension of never-ending bookshelves? A small room with magic computer that can spit out and put back in books? Neither of these are particularly appealing.

On one hand, he's mostly renegade and, you know, Doom. On the other hand, he teaches magic and science alike so that's awesome.

Genius 2, Technopathy 1, Construction 1
vision and the skills to execute it.

Temporal Magic 2, Utility Magic 1
Temporal magic level 2 is just too tempting. Time Magic is dangerous and costly but yeah, powerful!

40 million to spend on gear, basically 47M after that construction discount
Tier 2 teleporter (15M)
Tier 1 Nanomachines (20M)
Tier 1 Lair (5M)
Tier 1 Guns (2M) as I realize this is my only offense outside maybe going ape with the nanomachines on Strength. Or, you know, long-term planning possibly involving time fuckery and acquiring a ton of weapons from alternate timelines or putting a bomb somewhere before it was built timed to go off for the ensuing brawl... point is I need something reliable. Like guns.
Tier 1 Shield Generator (4M)

Long story short, one of the problems with these generals is they're at just the perfect size for namefags to thrive.

If they threads were too small, they'd just die. If they were bigger, like say the 40k or MTG generals, most of them would get lost in the shuffle (barring the most obnoxious). But these threads are small enough and consist of enough regular in-every-thread kind of posters that namefags can get enough attention but not immediately washed away by posts. Coupled with the fact that most of them do it under the flimsy pretext of it helping with their CYOAs, and you get what we have here.

Its not the worst thing about these threads, but its up there.
>>
>>54622371

So no, you sycophantic little twit, its not fine. Its just tolerated because there really isn't anything that can be done about it, because people will continue to give attention whores what they want.

Lewds aside, I'd like them to be balanced rather than characters built around single concepts/tendencies like 'tsundere', 'motherly', 'neet' etc. They can be all of that but it should be only small and not dominating part of theit character. Maybe something completely inhuman too, both physically and mentally - not just some sort of furry weirdo but thing that can both satisfy different fetishes on its own while also being pretty unlike a person in general.

What's more important, beside just waifu in comfy spaceship if you want to make it interstellar adventures, make sure that there's plenty of places to see, powers and boons to have regarding way of living, different items, starship rooms etc the way "locked in a room" CYOA work, magical location and events (attack of space turbosluts!).

But you don't excuse some stranger who shits on the green in your favourite park because "I'm sure he is overall a decent fellow outside of this activity" or "well the cops are slow to respond in this neighborhood so it's expected people will shit in public"; especially if they do it repeatedly and habitually, while wearing an identifying costume so you know it's them every time, and on top of everything try to chat you up and be all chummy as if they are just a normal person.

You certainly don't excuse their behavior by comparing them to a worse element that you have already run out of town.

Everyone and their dog shits in the park. I don't have it in me to care specifically about the guy who does it in costume, and the hypocrite who respond to him shitting in the park by projectile shitting on him, in the park, are arguably even more annoying because they get shit everywhere and not in a nice little pile in the grass.

Are there any CYOAs which will genuinely make my life better and stave off the agonizing hopelessness in my soul?
>>

>an author defending authors
>not a sycophant
>>
>>54623365
No disagreement here. Sometimes I think the best CYOA authors can only be recognized by the fact that they, well... cannot be recognized. They're just anons providing good content and fading away after a while rather than involving themselves in grabs for namefag popularity or shitflinging contests.
>>
>>54623344
Oh my fucking god. First is was normie that was /r9k/'s for fucking ever and then people bitched about it being Reddit's and now pissbaby is tumblr's? Fuck off, you niggers.
>>
>>54623389
We couldn't even scrape up a nice CYOA for the anon diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia yesterday. You should probably not get your hopes up.
>>
>>54623389
He seems rather happy about his life. Unless it's meant to be a really bitter smile.
And to answer your question - most, possibly. Especially the comfy ones. But like all CYOA they will be merely a way to seek temporary refugee in your imagination and they won't improve your life on their own.

Shit, I probably could have knocked together something simple. Like choosing a waifu who will be always there with him, trying to soothe his pain with a warm smile and gentle touch. Or some such.
At the same time, it would be kinda unfair. There are plenty of anons (me included) who have issues and shit in life, sometimes severe - I don't think they should get preferential treatment, especially where there are already plenty of nice CYOA out there they can try to get lost themselves in for a moment.

KYS.
>>
>>54623479
Stop it, Bob.
>>
>>54623436
It's the smile of a person who has truly witnessed the absurdity of life, he laughs for it is only Human to laugh at that which is a joke, but his soul yearns for release it shall never have.
>>
>>54623453
>Fuck my face
Come on anon, don't be like that. No one here wants to think you or anyone else is easy. Dinner first? A drink?

Come on, handguns aren't that hard to get. Nor are ropes, superheavy prescription drugs or stairs to the top of tall buildings.

Damn it turned dark quickly.
>>
>>54623493
Can be functionally the same, yes.
>>
>>54623474
Posting a CYOA on request is preferential treatment? They didn't ask for OC or anything just "post something nice" I think he got 1 nice response, and it wasn't even a CYOA.
>>
>>54623506
Bullets can't pierce souls anon.
>>
>>54623518
Sure they can. You just need the right ammo.
>>
>>54623515
They can't exist in the same entity, sure, but they're not functionally the same at all. If two things are functionally the same, the functions they serve are always present together.

They mean different things. Admit it or not, I don't really care past this point.
>>
>>54623516
Ah, then yeah, that's sad. At the same time I recall most threads having a comfy CYOA or two posted randomly as well and links to places where such a person can find much more good stuff to enjoy.
>>
>>54623518
Only because you can't really pierce something that doesn't exist. And if it doesn't really exist, it isn't really a problem except in your brain. Which a bullet can pierce just fine.
>>
>>54623589
You don't exist. Go away.

They how about we swap the 'soul' with consciousness, there is no end for our experience of consciousness, for if it can be created from nothingness once, it can do so again. There is really no escape.
>>
>>54623626
Bullets have pierced me pretty handily, so I'm pretty sure I exist.

Nobody has ever come from nothing. You thought babies came from nothing?
>>

God is real. Get your spiritual life in order.
>>
>>54623697
You're an idiot.
Where did the universe come from if not from nothing?
>>

The guy in the screenshot is basically a concious zombie anyway and wouldn't die even if you killed him.

I created it.

If God is real, then I pity him. For he exists above all and is completely alone.

>>54623705
The universe isn't a human being.
>>
>>54623739
You cannot comprehend the mind of an omniscient being. All of that is projection.
>>
>>54623739
Unless God is everything as everything is to let God self-realize and experience itself.
>>
>>54623755
Unfortunately, that's how it goes: most shit disturbers do not even really read the posts they react to, they just latch on to some launching point for their argumentation.

>>
>>54623660
lol you know just quoting the definitions and saying "wrong" doesn't work if the definitions don't support your point, right?
>>
>>54623755
You're not making any sense.
>>54623807
True, that's just my belief.
>>
>>54623941
It is perfect sense to say the universe isn't a human being. It is especially useful to point out that the universe and human being are different when responding to someone (>>54623705) using the universe as a counter example to statement about people and babies (>>54623697).
