DFT is a feat. You qualify generally by worshiping the god, but if the god isn't in play (custom settings etc) or your GM is feeling generous, you generally just need the alignment for it.

Spell versatility is not a thing you lose. You're a skald, you don't use your spells for blasting anyway - the fact that you gain divination stuff at lower slots is actually a straight upgrade.

Dirge of doom is shit-tier, and too late to matter much anyway.

Yeah, actually. The Undine earned a nickname. He's a wiseass, but he's funny. They often tease the fighter together. She doesn't like his penchant for lying, but he's promised not to lie about what's important. His last name is Sandius, which became Sandypants, which is now just Pants. Or Undiepants when she's drinking.

The fighter has a simple farmgirl vibe, and they connected via their mutual love of smashing shit. She's quiet, but nice. She's Turtle. Slow and quiet, but an incredibly solid defense.

The monk is nice. A bit of an astronaut, he's trying to teach her how to meditate. She's really bad at it. He's lanky, so she calls him Noodle.

Spirit Totem gives you extra melee attacks (one per party member with your rage) that scale off CHA for attack and damage.

Physical appearance can be representative of str, dex, con and a *very* tiny bit of cha (I prefer to keep cha as more of a 'mental' stat).

Viera are frequently depicted as little more than lithe and tall, being quite graceful especially when moving. They are susceptible to the magical flows of mist which has a number of adverse effects on them (under extreme circumstances they have been known to enter berserker-like rages snapping manacles and striking armored humes dead with unarmed attacks). Generally no mention is made of their strength and they tend to avoid jobs that leverage strength in favor of ones that favor accuracy and spell use (fencer, archers, assassins, snipers, red magi, white magi).

Extrapolating from their FFTA jobs, Viera are seldom known for their robust constitutions (ranging from d- to b rankings in HP with one E rank hp), but they are very quick to act (generally c to a rank speed, one S rank, slowest job being WHM), their defenses are usually somewhat low (ties into a lower con score) but their magic defenses are totally acceptable. Their magical aptitude is generally pretty good, but they have no traditional "trained" casters like blackmage; it's elementalists, whm's, redmages and summoners.

Androids in Starfinder were mass-produced by corporations for hundreds of years, and have only recently been liberated after discovering they were a few steps above the level of intelligence the corporations were letting on.

In other words, Androids aren't being produced in Pathfinder, but they're being produced in Starfinder, with all the quirky little implications that suggests.

Quick Pathfinder question: Can animal companions use all of their attacks in a full round attack or is there a limit? I'm not seeing a limit on the AC page.

Yes, but apply penalties as required. Primary has no penalties, but every subsequent different natural attack takes a -5 penalty to all attacks made with them. Basic format would be Bite (primary) +12 and 2 claws (secondary) at +7. This -5 is then used for any other natural attacks too, so if your bear has tentacles then they also hit for +7 assuming they don't have some other penalties or bonuses.

Good man. I was going to chastise you if your answer wasn't some kind of dinosaur. I made a Saurian Shaman Druid once too, for a Mummy's Mask game that didn't get very far. She was a kobold archeologist who idolized all things ancient, which put her desire to loot tombs at odds with her desire to treat them with proper respect (ultimately this usually resulted in her swiping things only when nobody else was looking and hypocritically criticizing anybody else for doing so). She thought dinosaurs were way cooler than dragons, which is why she had left her warren. That's also the time I realized Entangle doesn't work if there's no foliage to begin with.

Not only that but it actually makes you able to not only survive without your mount but makes your mount able to function inside a dungeon (the Oaths give stuff like turn on a charge & charge through small spaces).

Plus Oaths also give a bunch of cool non-combat stuff. Honestly Homeland is my favorite.

Also cool mounts are a built in class feature instead of an archetype thing. All the way to magical beasts.

It's awful because battle herald doesn't advance enough from bard or cavalier to be worth it. You end up being a very weak version of both classes and having nothing of your own. I am playing a skald, which effectively is a battle bard, and have massively good saves, ways to purge conditions and a team to back up what I lack and going into the front is NOT ever a good idea despite me being built for it.

Though it might be because I am playing Iron Gods which likes to throw enemies in book 2 that have +25 to hit and +30 damage in a single hit with a 15-20 crit range and that guy is accompanied by at-will darkness assholes, a giant and a dozen mooks to aid her.

The Stalker/Umbral Blade NPC who has been giving the PCs assignments will be converted to a Dervish Defender/Unchained Rogue with Veiled Moon since I think they're going to try to kill him to take his job, or his sword.

The archer Stalker, who is the aforementioned NPC's brother, will try to avenge him afterwards. He will become a Hawkguard/Unchained Rogue with Shattered Mirror or something. The PCs will try to kill him and take his bow if diplomacy fails.

The Privateer/Cleric/Battle Templar of the Red Knight waifu will probably remain a Privateer/Cleric.

Hello everyone! I am currently working on a setting with built up races rather than the core. We are using the Race Guide with a max of 15 RP for building the race.

I currently have in mind a Tiny insectoid race of warriors. The lore I have now is that a group of warriors in service of the God of War, drew the ire of another god who transformed them into Locust-like creatures with an insatiable hunger. mist seems more like a will or int save based thing though... but as old as Fran is in 12 ( I think she's at LEAST 65+). It might be a a racial trait that causes a random effect based on the "save" (<5 sickened, >5 <10 weakened, >10 BERSERKED)

I want to do Pathfinder, because it's easier to have this whole basis for our gaming group (and much more "player agency" when creating our characters compared to the homebrewed system we had), but my players aren't please with the spell system.

Is changing the spell system of pathfinder like this (mostly for the core rulebook) :

>The cost of spells are dictacted by their level, and so are their DC : a level 0 spell cost 0 but has a DC of 10, a level 9 got a cost of 9 and a dc of 19 if not stated otherwise

I know it's kinda retarted to rework like that, but I wanted to know if I can improve this way.

They don't find the spell system appealing, and, after 2 plays run, it seemed to be quite frustrating for spell users.

I'm trying to half ass a spell point system, but I know in the long run I need to avoid giving to much power to the casters, as in to many spells per day.

Maybe I should go for d6+modifier for the spell point system, keep the AC touch DC for certains spells but the DC based on spell level for others ?

Honestly :
-I need to reread it more thouroughly. I didn't sleep at all.
-It is another and new system. For my players, they already have to adapt to pathfinder. They'll need to learn another system, which I need to translate too. I got the translated Pocket Player Guide and Ultimate equipment (I need to translate the errata also), that's why we're going RAW about it.

Again, I'll need to present it to other GM's/players, to discuss about it.
