(So I tried to watch the show but it was really really bad so… I don’t know what I am doing)

Hey it’s not a martial arts based world for once. Well at least it’s a change of pace.

So we wound up in a run down, nearly abandoned amusement park. At night. This led me to believe this as an entirely different kind of jump and when thugs started to jump us…. I was a bit more forceful than I might otherwise have been.

My companions and I pulverized all the thugs but I was a bit disappointed to find out they were just thugs and not some monsters.

I felt a little silly so we just chased off the thugs. I decided since I didn’t really have any goals in the world I decided to buy the amusement park and fix it up.

I started building jumper tech to have amusement rides that sent people through time, in to outer space and all sorts of crazy things that only jumpers could do.

I started making money hand over fist because of my insane rides and I was approached by the mafia who explained they ran everything and they wanted their cut (or else bad stuff was going to happen) that began my war against the mafia… they actually sent little kids to kill me. Anyways I fought them off and forced the mafia to agree to a noninterference policy.

So, I stumbled upon some of this shit on SB for the Marvel jumpchain.

>Power Cosmic
Kinesis + Energy + Toughness + Strength x3 + Body + Elasticity + Flight + Shapeshifting + Teleportation
You can manipulate energy and matter, in a variety of ways only limited by your skill and understanding of the physics and metaphysics. This includes massively enhancing your physical and mental abilities, transmutation, sub-light and FTL flight, teleportation, energy blasts, matter disintegration and force field generation.

Looks like bullshit, but I dunno.

Bone Airship.jpg
21KB, 186x279px
To head off further discussion of MGE, I'd like to point out this:
>>54241960
I only brought it up since the topic was mentioned and I wanted to make sure other people potentially working on a jump for that knew my plan.

Now, then, I'd much rather discuss a setting I truly like: Bone.

>>54241770
I'm going to move things down from 800 CP; I made this jump a while back, and I forgot to change it once I started to realize that 800 CP purchases are over the top.

Prayer Stones: You really think it should be that cheap? I thought it was a pretty powerful thing to purchase, but I'll see if I can lower it.

Airship: I've attached an image of the airship to give you the approximate scale. I tend to have trouble describing the size of things, so how do you think I should describe the size? Unfortunately, I don't know much more about it, since it appeared in the sequel series, which I have not been able to find and read.

Wheel of Fortune- Okay, I'll see about moving it up a notch at least. I kind of thought it was less powerful than the current capstone, though.

Veni Yan Cari- Yeah, that's a tricky thing to mess with. The descriptions we get about what it actually does is kind of vague, so I tried to give the best explanation I could. And with the power level being so high, yet being a critical part of the royal set, I wasn't sure how to set up the pricing; I tried to make the other Dreaming perks prerequisites so it would be harder to obtain it.

The reason the Drop-In is missing item levels is because I had trouble coming up with enough items for that background. I'm going to add in the comics for Bone as the 200 CP purchase, and boot the Scythe up to 400 maybe, so that leaves one more item to add.

>>54241723
Crown of Horns sounds neat, but the trouble is that we really never learn much about that legendary artifact, so it's kind of hard to make an item out of it. A locust-summoning item might work, but I'll need to think about it.
>>
>>54242351
SBers are literally retarded. They think, "Hurr I'm paying a lot of CP, so obviously this option doesn't have to make sense within the context of the jump." Ignoring the fact that the jump itself straight up destroys that "combo" on several levels:

>You can stack additional (even duplicate) modifiers, but with a strong factor of diminishing returns. No,
picking Toughness 10 times won’t make you invulnerable.
>Kinesis is a sliding scale; the more common the thing you’re affecting is, the weaker your control of it will be.

I mean, ffs, it's like they're completely illiterate. And no one pointed this out to them.
>>
>>54242470
Given how you shitpost for fun, you don't really have any legs to stand on with this SB defence stuff.
>>
Do the Skills from the Fate Servant Supplement do the same stuff that they do in the anime? (inquiring due to differences between the supplement and the wiki)
>>
>>54242526
It's literally just Ursine in this shit though.

Trying to get him to have reading comprehension is literally like trying to teach an old person how to use a computer.
>>
>>54242546
Generally they should. The supplement hasn't been updated in a bit, which is probably why there are differences.
>>
>>54242414
Human Resources.

"I was talking to Bob down in Human Resources, and he wants me to head to Houston to headhunt an interesting prospect."
>>
>>54242550
It's not, though. Quite a few of them use it. Even Brellin, and he's probably one of the top 3 most reasonable people in that community (albeit, stubborn sometimes).
>>
>>54242550
From what I can tell, not everyone at SB is happy with his Marvel jump either.
>>
>>54242414
You don't. You mostly hire mercenary groups and channel funding through co-opted shell corporations belonging to legit businesses that you've somehow gotten to not ask questions. And you just keep things organized through a single administrator listed under expenses as Mr. Smith.
>>
>>54242414
>parahumans
Just stop. Call it like it is, no need for pretentious naming schemes.
>>
>>54242595
>Brellin
>Reasonable

We both read two different posters then.
>>
>>54242369

> It's super bullshit. "Limited only by skill and understanding" would take a lot more than Strength x3.

Yeah, that's why I asked. It greatly exceeds any legal Power Combination MarvelAnon made in his supplement.

>>54242406

Thank you Anon.
>>
>>54242595
Brellin has also used the jump for Familiar of Zero, while simultaneously pointing out considerable flaws in its design.

Point is, given that there tends to be a rule of one jump per setting, and since Marvel is a very popular franchise, a number of people would still make builds for the jump document that exists, even if they disagree about its design choices.
>>
>>54242290
>obligatory manga is better
Seriously though, it is. The anime also doesn't have the last two arcs, where shit went full shounen.
>>
>>54242641
You read a different post from the one you're responding to as well. He didn't say reasonable. He said 'one of the top 3 most reasonable in that community'. There's a big difference between saying someone is reasonable and saying they're the most reasonable one of a bunch of stubborn assholes.
>>
>>54242641
Imagine what that says about the others...

But in all seriousness, he's pretty reasonable, with some brief bouts of batshit insanity.
>>
>>54242595
SB and reasonable don't belong in the same sentence. There isn't a single reasonable person over there
>>
>>54242669
Somehow I am not surprised. The anime I hear gets better after a while I just didn't have the patience for it. I am not surprised the manga is better.
>>
>>54242619
"Possibly mutated people whose powers appear to be genetically transferred, but we have no idea by what mechanism they work, or any reliable methods of determining mutants from the general population via any DNA or physiological testing, so we're not 100% convinced the weird abilities displayed aren't something completely different" is kind of a mouthful.

>>54242610
Smart, but the group in question was created partially as a political maneuver so that the government could be seen as DOING SOMETHING (won't somebody think of the children?!), and in their haste gave the group broad powers beyond what was needed to get the job done.
Oh,maybe I'll just call them Homeland Security.
>>
>>54242718
In that case, the Aristocrats.
>>
I'd say *most* of the people on SB are fairly reasonable. Honestly, it's a lot like 4chan I'd say. You're gonna have fucking retards and reasonable people. They're mostly okay.
>>
>>54242797
>Mostly okay
Provided you can ignore the community differences, sure. If not, then the majority of them become assholes.

The majority of the cool SB people are already active presences in this thread anyway.
>>
>>54242414
Are you asking hypothetically or in our chains? Because if it's the latter, "Darwin award candidates."
>>
>>54242486
I feel bad about leaping on you like this, but I wanted to ask some quick questions, that I'm probably overthinking, about the various Mutation options in the Hero Academia jump.

Do the superficial and quirk-based mutations count as alt-forms in any way, or do we have to figure something out if we don't want purple skin in future jumps?

Do we have relative freedom in choosing how mutation quirks affect our appearance, provided it makes sense and we follow the text of the quirk? I.E., could someone who was making a build with Fiber Body choose to look completely normal when not using their power, choose to just have weird irises and rainbow hair, or choose to look like Yarny?

I apologize profusely if the answers are in the document and I just overlooked them.
>>
>>54242810

Yeah, true. The two communities are pretty different. They put a big fucking emphasis on these challengers they make. Mostly just an excuse to give themselves like 3,000+ CP.

>>
>>54242839
You're not leaping on me about anything, and I don't believe context answers like this are in the document.

First of all, people can choose whether or not they wish to count a body gained in Hero Academia with all the mutations it may have as an alt.form or part of their base form. I don't see anything wrong with either choice.

Second of all, as long as you're being reasonable about it and sticking to the mechanics, extending freedom to how a Quirk is fluffed out and manifests is just fine with me. Go right ahead.

So how would Daggerfall work with the Warp in the West? Would all your actions regarding Numidium be canon as well as all the game endings be canon by default, have your actions be canon by default (disregarding game endings) unless you take an appropriately named drawback, or what?

Also (imo) they should both have some sort of "randomly generated terrain/locations/etc" drawback, with Arena's having an upgrade to it that also keeps you from going from one city/town to another on foot.
>>
>>54243123
>Would all your actions regarding Numidium be canon as well as all the game endings be canon by default
Well that IS the canon ending of the game.
>>
>>54243098
I assume it'd be possible with that or a pod. Though as i think most of the grail wars end in a week you'd have to get them to break their contract with their master before it ends or they'd likely dispensary.
>>

>>
>>54243140

>>
>>54243042
A jump that's still a WIP but jumpable, called Brother's Price. Its about a world where male to female ratio is like 1:25. So males are kept secret & marrying entire family of sisters is the norm. That's if you're not sold to sex slavery, where they pump you full of drugs & you fuck until you die of syphillis or OD on the drugs.

It was a comfy read about a landed gentry rescuing a Princess, getting hitched to the Princess & her 9 sisters. While protecting his virginity from thirsty women including incestous nobles who want his D for the throne.
>>

Not if it's Assassin.
>>

>>
>>54243123
The whole reason it's remembered as the Warp in the West is that all of the endings were true.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go plot how to raise Orsinium to the same autonomy as the rest of the provinces, rather than remaining part of High Rock.
>>
>>54243015

>>
>>54243195
Assassin. Derived from Hashashin. Because supposedly Hassan-i-Sabbah drugged people with hashish and then claimed that he was the only one who could lead them to or from paradise.

Obviously dispensaries are the tools of Hassan-i-Sabbah in the modern age. If you live near one, expect the Counter Guardians to say hello.
>>
>>54243123
Hmm... I'll give that some thought and ask the thread when the time comes. All six endings, plus any other you might device, could/will all happen.
I suppose that's only seen from a historical point of view, while you'd experience your chosen paths.
>>
>>54243271
Well that's something i didn't know.
>>
>>54243208
>I'm going to go plot how to raise Orsinium to the same autonomy as the rest of the provinces
Keep the Bretons and Redguards from getting triggered by it and destroying them every time. The Orcs of the latest incarnation of Orsinium tried their damndest to get official Imperial approval and do things above board, and were making headway, it's just that this time, just like every other time, the Bretons and Redguards destroy it because they're Orcs.
>>

Don't mind him, man. He's being a shit-poster. Even though this place is a dysfunctional cesspit, people do actually appreciate the fact that you contribute and make jumps. Can't say that for like half the people here, myself included.
>>
>>54243208
>>54243305
Also there's some mention that part of the reason this happens is because Malacath is a bitter piece of shit and thinks that if Orcs achieve acceptance by the other races, they'll no longer be bitter outcasts and those betrayed so they won't need or worship him anymore or even horror of horrors, Malacath will die and become Trinimac again because his themes will change (which to be fair, is a legitimate existential fear, because the Daedra Malacath will die as an entity in that case.) So he actually abandons the Orcs and starts helping their enemies whenever the Orcs start to do well. That's why the latest king of Orsinium tried to abandon and outlaw Malacath worship entirely, just to spite him for it and find help in other gods.
>>

>Can't say that for like half the people here, myself included.

>the Daedra Malacath will die as an entity
Daedra aren't bound to the world. Belief or disbelief is actually utterly irrelevant to their existence.

Daedra also don't end, though they are subject to constant change. Jyggalag can tell you stories about the times he was forced to not be Jyggalag.
>>

Malacath is unique in that he was formerly the Aedra Trinimac. Also, by death, I mean ego death. Personality death. Malacath the individual will die so that Trinimac will live again. Since you mention Jyggalag, it's the same way a Jyg released from his curse would normally lead to the death of Sheogorath as an entity.
>>
>>54243488
All yours dude.

>>54243511
I thought it was the one where you delve deep into a hole that gets more dangerous as you go, and tries to kill you for leaving. The deeper you go, the worse leaving is, and the better the treasure. So, some kid finds a robot and goes diving with them to find their mom or something at the bottom of the abyss.

I've also heard it referred to as pedobait, but nothing about it being lewd. Just uncomfortable.

>>54243562
If you go too long without showing any evidence you're actually doing something, you may be called to drop the claim or someone may just snipe it. That usually takes a year or two, though.
>>
>>54243634
>Just uncomfortable.
Not in any worse way than your regular anime, where a loli waifu of some description is really common. So you'd have to be uncomfortable with anime in general at that point.
>>
>>54243585
Thing is, Malacath is actually in the same boat as the current (post-Shivering Isles) Sheogorath.

They're Daedra, but they weren't always - though there's a good chance that Trinimac was before Lorkhan convinced a number of spirits to help forge the world, and thus bind their power to it and become what would be known as the aedra (Our ancestors - Those aldmeri, I swear.). Those who didn't became known as the daedra (Not our ancestors.)

Malacath and Trinimac aren't precisely different entities, but I can see why fear of ego death could exist. But it wouldn't be because of the orsimer. Again, daedra aren't bound by belief or disbelief, worship, or anything of the kind.
>>
>>54243634
Nah what happens is that the labyrinth curses you depending on how deep you go. The little girl didn't go as deep as the boy, so she becomes a furry, and the boy an eldritch abomination. Both of them later on go around trying to find someone capable of killing them both, because they wish for death, and the boy is pretty much invulnerable so whoever has to be able to kill him first.
>>
>>54243663
You're forgetting that the nature of the Orsimer is tied to the nature of Trinimac/Malacath, and that they were changed by his. They are likely connected in an unusual way, anon.
>>
If I take the Lily or Alter templates in the Servant Supplement, and the Rank Ups they give increase the default Statistics in question above A (I plan on going Caster) can I convert those Rank Ups into Pluses instead? FUAnon, if you're around, the Bane's Bane drawback is a little over the top. I mean, Bane's already strong as is, why grant him Oneness with the Force as well? >They're Daedra, but they weren't always - though there's a good chance that Trinimac was before Lorkhan convinced a number of spirits to help forge the world
Daedra weren't a thing before Mundus was created. The status of Daedra is simply meant to refer to an entity that didn't take part in creating Mundus. In those days, the collective term for all spirits was Et'Ada. There was a division, but it wasn't a hard one, and it was simply whether or not a spirit was Anu-aligned (more prone to order and stasis) or Padomay-Aligned (more prone to chaos and change.)

While the change into the orsimer, and possibly further, is unquestionably linked to Trinimac/Malacath, I think it's more like the way the Chimer became the Dunmer - Just because they're linked to him doesn't mean he's linked to them.

Azura didn't change, no matter how much Vivec and the rest would've liked.

This would be for Fate/Zero as well, so I'd basically be taking one of the most brutal of the Holy Grail Wars and turning it into an Idealistic Romance type story.
>>
>>54243268
There's more females than males. Males are prized possessions for families. As males are rare, having a brother is akin to having a prized horse.

You can either sell him (dowry) or swap him for a husband. When you marry, you don't marry Jane, but Jane's sisters Jacquline, Jackie, Joannie, & Jan. Even if Jan is like 2yo, you're her husband.

Cribs are brothels where males are kept as sex slaves. They're given an aphrodisiac that's like a mix of heroin & viagra. Then forced to fuck until they can't fuck anymore. Its not a pleasant experience.

The protagonist own land, thanks to their grandparents being knighted. They stole their grandpa who was a prince. The protagonist is super beautiful & he rescues a pretty princess that was nearly killed.

Whirlwind plot involves him getting paraded out & the princesses getting together to marry him. Their rivals are their sisters-in-law who tried to kill the royals before. They want to marry the protagonist so they would have a more legitimate connection to the royalty when they take over.

>>54243716
>Daedra weren't a thing before Mundus was created
That was actually the point I was making, and not all of the Anu aligned became Aedra, nor did all of the Padomay aligned refuse to work with Lorkhan, some also became Aedra.
The part you quoted was in reference to two examples of current Daedra that weren't Daedra to begin with (from the perspective of Mundus, in Trinimac's case.)
The only other instance of apotheosis I can concretely point to is Talos, who is clearly Aedra.

My Hero Academia, problem with Quirk Marriage
Marrying two naturally Tier 4 quirks

Marrying a Tier 0 quirk empowered to Tier 4 level and a naturally Tier 4 quirk

Marrying two Tier 0 quirks empowered to Tier 4 levels of power.

Solution, Quirk Marriage should make you pay for the most powerful quirk (including empowerment) but the quirl you are marrying to it is free, and can empowered to the level of the 1st quirk free of charge.

With the right perks, it totally could be. Something to disease proof you, something to free your mind from the drugs, Something like Sweet Sweet Candy to keep them coming back, a good regeneration perk to keep up with the wear and tear?

If I were to pay the CP to pick a specific power in Worm, would it be okay to use Weaver Dice to generate the power, rather than picking off the list? That's the 'canon' power-gen schema, and it's typically not going to give anything stronger than the options in-jump.

Wrong. The Amaranth is a step beyond all of the Walking Ways. In fact, the Walking Ways could be understood as mere paths to eventually achieving the Amaranth. They all lead to that conclusion, whereas they don't necessarily lead into one another.

Anyway, there are Seven. We only know of Four Walking Ways. They are Mantling, CHIM, Enatiomorph, and the mysterious Scarab that Becomes the New Man that we don't know anything about beyond the name.

Last thread, but he deleted it later after some critique, deciding to fix a few of the issues with the jump. From what I saw, a few of the drawbacks were way over the top for their price. For example, Bane's Bane, a 200cp drawback, gives an already powerful Sith Lord what is essentially a Super Saiyan form for Force Users against you, with a huge grudge against you as well. For reference, with Oneness in the Force, Luke slaughtered an army of elite Yuuzhan Vong warriors, who are supposed to be immune to the Force, and who wear armor that no sells lightsabers. Jacen caused their Overlord to outright melt after achieving Oneness, just by standing there and willing him to do so.

Speaking of, there's a 300cp drawback where what is essentially the Vong on steroids all invade the Galaxy for the sole purpose of killing you. This is ignoring the fact that the regular Vong devastated the New Republic, who had far more advanced technology compared to the Brotherhood or the Republic due to being a thousand years in the future. So, a group that can curbstomp both sides even without the boost is now coming after you, specifically. And this only gives 300cp.
>>
>>54244070
Meh. The latter sounds reasonable for 300 CP. If they were scaling, it'd be a different story.

Daedra can be reduced to near powerlessness and it should be possible to eliminate one, remember that all the mortals are actually just vastly diminished Et'Ada. It'd be a lot easier to use out-of-setting stuff though.

Anyway, remember that not all Daedra are 'evil' as we'd see it, so it'd help if we knew who you wanted to kill. Pretty much the only Daedra off the top of my head that deserves nothing but death is Molag Baal.
>>
>>54244164
I guess? The Sheogorath in Skyrim is the PC from Oblivion. He's taken on most of Sheo's personality, but there are still bits and pieces of who they originally were.

Of course that's not exactly the most successful example of Mantling in canon, but it's the easiest to point out.
>>
>>54244172
No.
Vivec raped Molag Bal, the god of Rape.
Vivex uses his own penis as a Spear.
The Mace of Molag Bal is his Molag's penis.
>>
>>54244172
Basically, one of the Daedra named Molag Baal styles himself as the God of Rape. This is in both the physical sense and in the sense of defilement in general. Anyway, Vivec, who is a hermaphroditic warrior-poet with CHIM who is tapping into Lorkhan's power for a pseudo-godhood, once become Molag Baal's lover. They have a ton of children that are horrible monsters and everything. Anyway, one day, Vivec is giving Molag Baal a blowjob, and bites his cockhead off. Vivec then attaches this cockhead to his spear, Mua'tra, as its spearhead. Worth noting, Mua'tra is also Vivec's penis. Anyway, Vivec still has Mua'tra, but Molag Baal likes to lend his penis out as the Mace of Molag Baal to his champions to beat and metaphorically rape people with.

That's not a problem anon, I built it that way and you're thinking of Quirk Marriage the wrong way. Quirk Marriage isn't about buying two Quirks, it's about buying and mixing two Quirks into one new Quirk. You don't use Empowered Quirk on the components, you use it (if applicable) on the final result since that's your Quirk (this is covered in the notes). So, first off, your second calculation doesn't work.

Second of all, marrying Tier 3 Quirks (the Tiers are labelled 0-3) generally gets a better result than most other marriages, since you're mixing two Quirks that already had really strong effects into one new one. It's also easier than Tier 0 + Tier 0 + Empowered Quirk(x3) since you're mixing the Quirks at their base level and have to figure out what the new Quirk does and how it gets so much better after the purchases.

Third, why the hell even in this scenario would I make Quirk Marriage free?

>>
>>54244321
You can kick his ass, curse him, seal him away, drain all his power, it's not difficult to do those things. Shredding his existence apart is a lot harder with in-setting stuff, but bring in in If it Bleeds and enough firepower, just tear him apart and he'll die for good. No reason to mantle him or steal his power since his power is just over rape.
>>
>>54244402
>Get someone to summon Nocturnal in front of a large number of worshipers
>Steal Cowl and her cloak so she's naked
>Laugh at her embarrassment, while hiding the cloak and cowl nearby.
>>
>>54244437
Nah senpai, the cloak makes it better. The fact that Nocturnal is almost nude and the most you can see is maybe her thighs makes it better, especially with her vastly-bullyable personality.
>>
>>54244421

>>
>>54244421
>his power is just over rape
He's the god of schemes, domination and enslavement.
Rape is just one example of domination. He has a hell of a lot more power than just that.

Incidentally, the daedra (et'ada, actually) don't technically die. They disperse, and eventually reform. Depending on method used to "kill" them, this can take an amount of time that mortals can't comprehend.
>>
>>54244401
Oh I know, but to explain it to the crowd:

First gen vampires become such by rape. Molag Baal rapes you to death, then uses his blood to turn you into a vampire, which is a defilement of life. So he gets his rocks off in two ways. There have been a lot of people who did this crazy shit on purpose because they're retarded, like Harkon and his family, but to most people this has happened to, they were just suddenly waylayed by Molag Baal while walking around and raped to death. Each rape by baal is the start of a new bloodline basically, since most bloodlines spread on their own from here. The first person he did this to, the first vampire ever, is still alive and she's been plotting for ages to find a way to kill Molag Baal once and for all for what he did to her.
>>
>>54244489
Reminder:Vampirism is a curse and a way of Molag Bal to dominate you, because he is a massive cunt
Lycanthropy is a blessing, because Hircine wants you to be a better hunter.

Hircine is the best god, kill Molag Bal today.
>>
>>54244482
>Rape is just one example of domination.
It's more that his power is over 'defilement' and rape is just a synonym for it.

Also, my post says point blank that it's hard to kill him through in-setting means. Don't talk down to me. It is possible, however, because as you'll remember, all mortals are diminished Et'Ada, and while they do enter into the dream sleeve upon death rather than being destroyed, in the future when the Thalmor manage to destroy Nirn, they die along with it because their souls dissolve without the support of Mundus keeping them around. They cannot exist without its structure to protect them. So theoretically, draining Molag Baal of enough power could make him suffer similarly.

Mehrunes Dagon is a fucking douche.
Boethiah is a cunt.
Namira is gross.
But you have a point. Molag Bal is the only one that seems to go out of his way to ruin people's days. The others just have shitty followers the fuck everything up, or are actually okay if you're not an idiot. Azura, Meridia, Hircine, Malacath, Hermaeous Mora, and Nocturne come to mind here.
Some are just outright fun to watch them do their thing, or even join in on the fun. Clavicus Vile, Sheogorath, and Sanguine come to mind.
Hermaeous Mora is my personal favorite though, followed closely by the last three I mentioned. I like books and he likes books. We'd get along great.

You thought the Daedric Prince that catches you in a cage, threatens you, and then has you repeatedly beat a guy to death until he surrenders his soul was bro material?
The same Daedric Lord that created vampires by raping a young woman to death? And personally creates new vampires by, again, raping people?

Summon Nocturnal to your bedchamber.

The problem here is that Molag Bal, and the rest known as daedra, aren't bound to Mundus. That's why they became known as daedra. You'd have to find some way to trick him into binding his power to Mundus as the aedra had first. Mortals are et'ada bound to Mundus by being born into it.

The only daedra I can see being dissolved would be Sheogorath (as the former mortal Champion of Cyrodiil) and Malacath (as the former aedra Trinimac) - Both are possibly still bound to it.

Mehrunes Dagon is cursed, by Aka. He isn't who he truly is. His real identity is the Leaper Demon King, who had made it his mission to save people by helping them jump between kalpas, and eventually kill Aka so worlds would no longer be eaten. For this he was cursed to destroy all the land he had ever saved from Aka by leaping with it. So you don't need to kill Mehrunes Dagon, just undue this curse.

>Boethiah is a cunt.
Yeah but Boethiah also does a lot of good and doesn't actively fuck with anyone that isn't involved in worshiping him or messing with his worshipers. Not a big deal.

That's not a problem. Re-read my post, because you keep being idiotic in annoying ways. The reason that mortals need Mundus is because of how weakened their et'ada spirit is. So weakening Molag Baal similarly should have a similar effect. Does anything in this have anything to do with being bound to Mundus? Mortals aren't even tied to it the same way that earthbones are.

Here's the thing. Dagon is a god of Revolution and Change.

>>

Setting aside entities like c'thulhu, what level of power would I need to stomp the various villains of the setting? Cultist, migo, and so on?

I'm tempted to say 'not much' because CT magic is more subtle/summoning/ritual stuff, and the migo military tech doesn't look much tougher than the average gundam.
>>
>>54244744
Neither is entirely right, and the Thalmor aren't nearly as much of a threat as they think themselves to be.

If the Stormcloaks win, the only ways for the Dominion to invade Skyrim (which has a DRAGON sitting on top of its Tower) are overland through Cyrodiil or through the Sea of Ghosts. Both of these are horrible ideas and completely antithetical to anything resembling a decent supply chain.

If the Imperials win, any Dominion invasion will be checked by a quickly-replenished united Imperial force, with /possible/ Dunmer and Redguard support.

The deciding factors in the next war won't even be "is Skyrim independent," but "do Men have a Dragonborn and his several tame dragons on their side," "which side did the An-Xileel lean towards," and "did the Khajiit get so tired of being used as cannon fodder that they rose up against the Dominion, possibly joined by genocide-weary Bosmer?"
>>
>>54244744
Empire, until the Thalmor are utterly fucked over and done with, and no longer trying to destroy the Towers.

Then, Stormcloaks.
>>
>>54244778
You can defeat Cthulhu with a steamboat. It's been done.

>>54244806

>>
>>54244778
Mid-MidHigh gundam levels would probably be enough. The Migo do have some bigass ships in orbit and some more coming but they're not that strong, just big.

As long as you're not directly fighting a Old One or Outer God, you should be able to pretty easily beat most of the threats on earth.
>>
>>54244823
No but power levels are obviously equal across both THEY GOTTA BE
>>
>>54244744
Stormcloaks are retards who want to divide humanity when they're at their weakest and doom everyone to being picked apart one-by-one. Worth noting too that their major complaint about 'suppressing muh culture' is their own fault. The Empire has a policy of ignoring Talos worship even though it was technically banned, but once the Nords started agitating and throwing a fit, the Thalmor starting cracking down. They dug their own grave on that front.

Canonically, the Stormcloacks win. Also canonically, the Thalmor succeed in destroying Nirn. It just doesn't blow up the rest of Mundus, and it also kills all the Altmer while everyone else flees to the moons.
>>
>>54244778
Well, considering the fact that the Earth Forces consist of Evangelions, Symbiotes, Gundams, Psykers, and various other supernatural forces on steroids and they're STILL getting their asses kicked by the Migo, who are only using a single fleet and are actually holding back so as not to wake up the Great Old Ones? I'd say you'd have to be pretty fucking strong. The other groups would probably be easier to deal with, but be warned that one of them, the Chrysalis Corporation, is implied to be led by an avatar of Nyarlathotep himself, and is filled with his servants. Drawing their attention is probably a very bad idea.
>>

>>
>>54244823
I know. It's a humorous thing to picture in your mind though.

In all seriousness though, the biggest threat isn't the "pure destruction" bit, it's the sanity effect. Unless you're willing to write off the rest of the world while you stand behind fiat mind protection, it's probably best to not attempt to kick the hornet's nest with "stomping the villains."
>>
>>54244855
>Evangelions, Symbiiotes, Gundams and psykers
None of which are as good as their original equivalents. By quite a great distance in some cases (Engels in particular are absolute garbage compared to even an unarmed Eva)
>>
>>54244744
I'm undecided.
On the one hand, if the Empire holds itself together, it may someday regain the power to fight off the Thalmor. Everybody hates the Thalmor, including most of the other elves and even a few rare High Elves.
On the other hand, by the beginning of Skyrim there was already open war in Hammerfell between the Redguards and Thalmor, because Redguards take exactly zero shit. So the Empire is already starting to crumble and is losing power and influence by the day, when it was already on the ropes.

>>54244783
>the only ways for the Dominion to invade Skyrim (which has a DRAGON sitting on top of its Tower
There's already a Thalmor presence in Skyrim, all over the place. And there IS a civil war already going on. It's not like Paarthurnax has gotten off his ass yet, and suspect he never would unless the Greybeards were directly threatened. He has more important shit to worry about than freedom of worship. Like stopping an evil time-travelling dragon from destroying the world.
>>
>>54244849
C0da's not canon, though, right?

Also, the Mede Empire is not the Septim Empire, and invading an independent Skyrim is like invading Russia during the winter, but with hordes of bandits, vampires, draugr, Dwemer animunculi, dragons, ghosts, werewolves, giants, and assorted other nasties added to the mix.

And again, the Stone they want to destroy is guarded by four of the only six living people capable of Thu'um, as well as possibly one very old dragon and his dozen or so students, who are also dragons.

Ulfric is only an asset to the Thalmor so long as he doesn't LOSE or WIN. The war ITSELF is the asset.
>>
>>54244888
His point on the Tower thing was that the Thalmor want to destroy all the Towers.
Paarthurnax might not give a fuck about worship, he would defend the Tower.
>>
>>54244888
The current Dominion presence is small and entirely reliant on the Empire's compliance for continued support. They can't maintain an army, especially not an army of tropic-natives on a tundra.

As soon as the civil war /ends/, they're in for a bad time.

That's nice, but those retards have restricted it to themselves for no reason and crippled their race. It's not like they're powerless here, they trained a faction of people called Mirror Logicians who argued against Numidium well enough to force the Jills to put them all in an alternate timeline long enough to finish their argument. That they managed to resist it at all is far more impressive than any Greybeards.

Yes and no. Essentially there's two different types of undead in Warhammer Fantasy.

There's Necromancers and Vampires which for the most part are anti-Chaos or at least neutral. Necromancy is not a Chaotic form of magic Well technically it and all other forms of magic originated from the Realm of Chaos but essentially its not a true form of Chaotic magic. >Or you have to empower both things separately
The notes specifically say that is not the case. Last time I looked at the jump I you did empower both quirks separately before marriage, but that got changed, apparently intentionally.

>>54244384
>Third, why the hell even in this scenario would I make Quirk Marriage free?
You wouldn't. Quirk Marriage would still costs the same. You just wouldn't be double charging for having a Tier 3 quirk. If you merge two quirks, you pay for the tier the quirk ends up being.

The assumption here is that all Tier 0 quirks are supposed to be basically equal in usefulness, all Tier 1 quirks are supposed to be basically equal in usefulness, all Tier 2 quirks are supposed to be basically equal in usefulness, and all Tier 3 quirks are supposed to be basically equal in usefulness,

The issue here is one way can get you a married tier 3 quirk, and coats 400 CP, and the other can det you a married tier 3 quirk and costs 700 CP, because you made it where making a married tier 3 quirk out of empowered tier 0 quirks is cheaper than making one out of non empowered quirks. But both end up as tier 3 quirks.

What is supposed to be the same level of power, but wildly different prices.

Let me explain. KINMUNE is an AI-operated spaceship, that is being used as a mining drone. People can remotely operate the drone by temporarily projecting their minds into it, almost like sleeving into a new body. However, KINMUNE got caught in an inter-dimensional spaceship battle between the Hist and the Jills, sending the ship to another dimension. This process also gave the ship's rudimentary AI sapience, in the form of an amalgamation of the personalities of everyone who had recently remote piloted it.

It's not mentioned in that exert but eventually the AI core of KINMUNE escaped back into the main dimension, but because of wibbly wobbly bullshit, it ended up traveling back in time too, and ending up crashing into Nirn. This AI core was later found and dubbed the Eye of Magnus by the ignorant. That AI has been sitting there all those thousands of years trying to figure out how to get back to her time.

>>54245120
Also, she shows up in Skyrim, so don't even.
>>
>>54245103
Let's see. A Nirnian external framework with several users, linked together by kinetic energy (?), was just like any other artificial device used to mine remotely. It was barely intelligent, could go deep underground, and was used to operate some kind of illegal industry. It had several users, and was a high quality product of some dominant group, but was about to be destroyed.

But then a war showed up. Space-time went all fucky, and she was hit by a literally-what weapon. The literal-what sent her to somewhere else, and turned her brain into a mishmash of the people who had been using her.

I really like the Stormcloaks aesthetically, because they're a bunch of rough'n'tumble viking dudes led by a guy who can yell magic who are super into killing elf-nazis. They're also really into being allowed to worship their magic sky god, which I totes agree with, and they even have a winter castle! I just think they're super cool.

On the other hand, Imperials probably have a legit better shot at beating elf-nazis, are more racially diversified, and more into uniting everyone as opposed to the Stormcloaks who are more separatist and oppressive.
I also like their outfits way better, with the exception of their helmets, where the Stormcloak's bear hood wins hands down, because you're wearing a BEAR'S FACE over your HEAD, how fucking great is that?

I also almost exclusively play Khajiits (except for that time I played an orc), so it would make more sense to ally with the Imperials. But the Imperials are the ones who captured you and tried to cut your head off at the start of the game for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and I'm the type of person who holds a grudge about things like that.
So, I'm really divided about it.

Though really the best option would be to get them to sign a truce so that no more people have to die and they can present a stronger front against the elf-nazis. Which is totally an option in the game! But I guess that's not as interesting?

The BEST option would be to take after Tiber Septim, a Dragonborn like yourself, and say "fuck it, you're all morons" and conquer them both yourself.

Honestly, if we're doing that, the best option is to just cut out the middle-man and murder all the Thalmor by yourself.

And probably a good portion of the population of Nern, while you're at it, given that such a huge part of it seems to be FUCKING BANDITS AND NECROMANCERS.

Does Just Punch It from NES Pack apply to other physical attacks like kicking, headbutting, etc.? Or at least to other attacks using your hands like chops or palm strikes? I'm assuming not, but confirmation would be nice.

Also, I feel as though it and Punchmaster should switch places.
>>
>>54245200
Your assumption is a good one, but that mostly comes from how the tables are arranged and priced by default. When it comes to Quirk Marriage, the bets are now off as some combos can be better than their tier suggests or worse than their tier suggests because of the component Quirks and how they mixed.

Using an in-series example, Bakugo's parents both had fairly basic Quirks that probably would have been Tier 0 or Tier 1 in the Jump at best, but going by the Quirk Section's general level of doing things Explosion works out to a Tier 2.

I like the way things are priced now. Marrying Tier 3 Quirks is the easiest and one of the most straight forward powerful ways of doing things. Marrying any combination of Tier 2 and below Quirks and Empowering them to the cap takes more work and imagination on the part of Jumper since they have to not only cohesively mix the mechanics to come up with something new, but upscale that reasonably.

Pokemon Trainer CYOA (Jump #1)
Bringing wallet as a reminder of who I was before the journey began.
Taking all starting equipment except for the hat, because fuck the red hat.
>Freedomland/Unova
>16 year old male
>City Life identity (-50/950)

...Christ. Never had the stomach to actually finish a Pokemon game. There must be thousands of options now.
>Starter: Ralts (-200/750)

Making my remaining spending choices with the long game in mind.
>Freerunning (free)
>Technician (-150/600)
>Psionics (-300/300)
>Blend In (-300/0)

Gear:
>Rebreather (-50/-50)
>3 Master balls (-100/-150)
>Thrustpack (-100/-250)
>Parachute (-50/-300)

Flaws:
>Silenced (+100/-200)
>Scared (+200/0)
When I was young, I wandered out of Castelia City and got lost in the wilds. I caught the attention of some predatory pokemon and hid from it for days. I was nearly dead of dehydration when the search party found me.

The experience scarred me mentally; I have not spoken a word since then, and have hated the sight of pokemon. I avoid leaving the city if at all possible. The trauma of the experience and the lack of speaking isolated me over time, and I never fully recovered.

Then, on my way home on a particularly miserable day, I ... felt a mind reach out to me. After hours of searching, I reluctantly came to the door of a local pokemon shelter, steeled myself, and walked in. Long story short, Ralts (eventually Gardevoir) is my pal and keeps me grounded and centered.

I spend the first several months studying the pokedex, honing my parkour skills with the thrustpack / parachute (and getting Litten used to freerunning), grinding Litten's levels in some lawn outside the major city, and sticking to my day job helping old people with their electronics.

Then I join Team Plasma as a cat burglar. I work behind the scenes to help them expand their influence and take a cut of the proceeds. Espionage and sabotage are my specialties, and my training allows me to escape when things go south.

The Great Zoo and Contest aren't confirmed for the same universe, but it isn't denied, either. So given the way that all his other works are linked, I've chosen to believe they are. That's on me.

>>54246002

>>
>>54245876
Looks great, though it would probably look better if I knew anything about the setting.
All in all a good jump
>>
>>54245945
Damn it, I switched from Litten to Ralts for my starter and didn't update everything. Off to a great start.

Ralts keeps me from losing my shit when I'm facing wild pokemon. Leveling any caught pokemon is an exercise in futility; I'm a basket case after a fight or two.

The master balls are for picking up Zekrom at an opportune moment, and any other ultra-rare/legendary I stumble across during my time there.

If, in my exploits as the shadow hand of a criminal organization, I run into a situation that my own skills can't get me out of, Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir can pop a Teleport to get us out of there.

I will never be a master trainer in this setting. It's me and Ralts/etc vs the world, plus a couple pickups for future utility.

Cosmic Warehouse choices:
Electricity (-10/140)
Plumbing (-10/130)
ForceWall (-20/110)
Portal (-30/80)
Link (-30/50)
Robots (-20/30)
Medbay (-20/10)
Food Supply (-10/0)

The warehouse is not a comfortable place, but it will serve well as a panic room, short or long term, and the portal/link abilities have all sorts of opportunities for abuse. I'll bring in a bed on my next jump.

Any time you're feeling the pressure and need to figure something out right away, basically.
When someone close pulls a gun on you and you've got to work out whether to lunge forward and engage or dive backward for cover.
When your starfighter jumps out of hyperspace and the Imperial fleet is right in front of you and the deflector shield is still up, what to pick as your priority targets and what evasive action you need to take.

Well you can not suffer from stress or adrenaline, but still want to get things with urgency.
So I guess you can have it kick in whenever you think you're in an urgent situation and need the boost?

Jump: Protectors of the Plot Continuum

“The Sea of the Void, called other things by others but locally it's called the Meta-verse. Theoretically, all existence is held within a fragment that floats on the Sea of the Void within the Meta-verse. One can distinctly label the various layers of reality, from central worlds to meta-verse concept, with the proper technology. It is this understanding that created the first societies, both for elimination and for protection, and from those first worlds expanded understanding.” The professor of Meta-Physics sighed as he noted only four young people had even sat for his introduction speech. “Seems like less and less people are coming to these seminars as the years go by. Ah,” he raised a hand and smiled lightly at the students, “never mind that let's continue with the very basics. Where would you all like to begin?”
“The Yggdrasil System.” One student said and the professor thought that was a decent starting point as well.
“The Theory of Narrativium based technology.” Another fine start. At least these students were interested in their chosen subject.
“The Mary Sue Policy.” An early and very hard to under fully understand subject. The professor turned and waited for the last of the young people to request one last thing.
“The Great Finno-Korean Hyper Dimensional War.” The last student said as he poked at his textbook. The professor's shock must have been obvious. “It's said that the real birth of Practical Meta-Physics was back then. My grandfather was in that war, I wanted know more.”
[Continued Next Post]

Play spot the Jumper it's fun!
>>
>>54247006
“Well then we have our work cut out for us then don't we? If we start from the Hyper Wars, through to the discovery of Narrativium and the creation of the Yggdrasil we can cap off this with the recent Mary Sue Policies.” The professor said. “Now the Great Finno-Korean Hyper Dimensional War had been in full swing for eight years when the first Plot Hole opened into our own North Korean Military Base so that an unidentified creature, later identified as Princess Magnificent Mary Annowyr Sue, could fix a miscount of how many nukes she had on hand, instead of just being reasonable and simply saying there was a miscount. The North Korean's went from a Nuclear Power to weaponless in about two hours. At the same time, in the depths of Finland a man manifested a set of Command Seals as a side effect of Princess' having been a being created by humans of another world to tap into an advanced system and one of the tells of Princess' entry into the world was the start of a mystical event called a Holy Grail War.”
“But with no base for Magecraft in our world how did that work?” One of the students asked. The professor smiled at the inquisitive tone. He was always happy to see some people interested in his personal favorite subject.
>>
>>54247006
>>54247009
“Remember, if you will, that Princess entered this world through a Plot Hole.” He reminded lightly. “The inclusion of a Lesser Grail and a Plot Hole in our world forced the Laws of Narrative Causality, a branch of research that we are only just getting our own feet wet in, to equalize the universes in question.” He smiled as the student indicated they were satisfied with the answer. “Now the Finnish man summoned forth, using powers he had no idea how to control, a legendary being known as a Heroic Spirit, to be exact the man summoned forth his own late grandfather, Simo Hayha, to the Finnish snowfields once more. Various factors made this one of the most auspicious of the Servants summoned to participate in the False Holy (Hyper Dimensional) War. The events that transpired throughout the Great Finno-Korean Hyper Dimensional War were molded by an inate flaw that was exploited by the Assassin of the False Holy (Hyper Dimensional) War, the Lesser Grail degraded to a simple object at a certain point of the Holy War. The Assassin managed to murder each of the various Servant other than itself and Simo Hayha in under eighteen months, scouring both of the dimensions to manage the feat. Simo Hayha greeted the Assassin, now known to us as Death the Rider of the Pale Horse, as an old friend and the pair of them managed to halt the efforts of multiversal domination. Using the magical device known as the Lesser Grail, which was straining under the power of Princess' vast reserves of mana and od. It was from Death that we learned of the greater multiverse, Narrativium, and from there a brilliant scientist managed to craft the Yggdrasil System, based on a massive alien magi-tech device known as Moon Cell in the world native to the Mary Sue.”

Done for now.
>>
>>54246952
You're right, that's wrong.
It's ten times the speed of light.

This is one of those settings where the science is an excuse for a gunfight taking place on top of a moving plane.
>>
>>54247032
Yeah, if you want over the top action scenes Reilly's your man, but his maguffin backgrounds are brain-exploding atrocities against science and common sense. I have to wonder if it's deliberate.
>>
>>54247099
I mean, the books are basically 80-90s action movies in written form. Having total bullshit science is pretty much one of the genre's defining points.
>>
>>54246997
everything gone ideally. Even the supermassive blackhole if possible.
>>
>>54247032
A potential problem is that while the action tends to be "street level" (well, for values including gunfights on top of planes and other Last Action Hero craziness) even a minor butterfly could result in the planet being doomed (within 10 years at that) without a jumper being any the wiser.
>>
>>54247185
I do recognize that. Do you think I need to include a plot rails perk as a "freebie/pay to keep"?
>>
Are there perks to help mitigate the negative side effects of using certain types of technology? Make machines and concoctions and whatever safer?
>>
>>54247213
Hmm. I was going to just say yes, but I do still like butterflies, they're fun. Perhaps instead / in addition a perk that helps prevent Bad Ends from happening to a place you're in so long as Jumper is at least not knowingly trying to set off the apocalypse? I'm not sure how to phrase it.
>>
Are there any perks that make it easier to plan major worldwide events, find and invite the people I want, and inspire them ?
>>
>>54247431
To fit a Reilly book, you probably want a perk that coincidentally arranges for deus ex machinas to remove cosmic threats to a Jumper's location. Invisible star about to eat your planet and the destined hero got hit by a car because he was talking to you on the phone? Some machine that ancient aliens buried eons ago accidentally activates by pure chance and deals with it.
>>
>>54247431
How about a Setting Plot Armor perk - Essentially it provides the setting itself a level of plot armor to protect it, but which diminishes/vanishes by intentional Jumper actions/butterflies.
>>
>>54247519
That sounds familiar. Do we have a perk like that in another jump?
>>
>>54247555
Boktai? The 600cp perk under Drop-in.
>>
>>54247555
Yeah, there are a couple of plot rail perks in other jumps. An Inner Clockwork in Penny Dreadful, and I think one of the Drop In perks in Boktai off the top of my head.

Tophat came up with this (with some changes by me) while we were talking in chat:
>Butterfly Net - Free For This Jump
>The nature of events here often rests on one or more lynchpins: events and people that would be all too easy to ripple away with changes made years in advance, and here, a single interrupted event might be enough to doom the world. No longer will that be the case. Unless you are directly taking part in an event or attempting to change it, these lynchpin events and characters will still be destined to remain intact and achieve their canon outcomes, though less important events and people may shift around them.

How does that sound?
>>
>>54247750
That sounds good - Not accidentally butterflying the world away in absentia is pretty much exactly what we want for this... volatile... setting.

Oh, and Val. Just got around to reading your Warhammer Fantasy jumps - I especially liked the way you captured the feel of the Greenskins.
>>
>>54247779
Haha, it does seem to be assumed that I did that one too. No, that one, Greenskins, was Waddle/Gauntlet, not me.
>>
Cenanon, an Injustice question, if you don't mind. How do the Priority Target drawback, and the alignment selections work given that without taking An Age of Order the jump starts the day after Metropolis, not at the start of the game?

There seem to be a few bits of the jump that assume you start at different times.

>>
>>54247953
Only the replacements. Replacements have all the gear and training the original units did, so you'll need to redo whatever you did for them but otherwise anyone else carries over as normal. Might die of old age unless you have a way to deal with that though.

Speaking of ASoIaF, I've been having trouble deciding which would be better for fucking with the plot: Starting at the beginning of the books and using the option to choose your parentage to be Robert and Cersei's only trueborn child and heir. Or starting at the time of Robert's Rebellion and preventing a lot of the mess in the first place by saving various people and helping mend broken relationships. Is it better to foil the schemes and make the schemers pay, or prevent the schemes from ever happening at all? Probably the second one, but the first would feel so much more satisfying.

Alright so here is what I think is the finished product for the Dwarf Fortress update.

Change Log: Added the most Bad Ass Elf ever at an Anon's suggestion when adding in a companions section.

Minor spelling and grammar corrections cause god knows how I missed the first hundred times.

Now spaced and junk. Had to fiddle with text size and such to make everything "Fit" the best I could. Hopefully its not to bad.

As usual, suggestions and corrections appreciated as needed.

>Bad Ass Elf
That is a contradiction.
>>
>>54248092
Normally yes but you should read the epic of Cacame Awemedinade Monípalóthi first. The story of an Elf that lost his family and went on a one Elf killing spree against Elven kind and being crowned king of the Dwarves.
>>
>>54248092
Cacame is the exception that proves the rule. He's an elf who decided he fucking hated elves, so he went off to a dwarf fortress, joined their military, and spent his whole life alternating between killing his former kin and killing giant monsters. He's not an elf, he's a six-foot tall dwarf with pointy ears.

Excuse me, Toriko-anon.Since you happen to be here, can I ask, are you doing a revision of the Toriko jump?
I vaguely remember it being discussed but can't remember if you actually committed to do it or not.
>>

Counter the schemes as they unfold, step for step. Make others fear your near prescience. Crush all military opposition with absolute force. Counter political moves with superior political maneuvers. Make their spies fear their own shadows at the mere thought of moving near you.

Oh man, yes. Its in the works. Its such a fucking shit show though with how many times they jumped the fucking shark.

As it stands, I made the Jump back when there was like 100 chapters or something? And now that its finished its closer to 400 chapters.

What it came down to is instead of extending the original Jump that extra 300 chapters, I'll instead be doing a DLC Jump that you can choose to take. I've got a bit of it done but I'm still trying to balance out so much of the crap they pulled in show.

So as far as the base Jump is concerned, I may go back and alter it slightly to state some of the major changes considering what Gourmet Cells and Appetite Demons are but thats about it. Probably a note at the bottom that there will be a 2nd part.

Does that answer your question?

As for committed? Yes, its getting done but slowly. I work Monday-Friday and tend to only get to sit down and play around on the weekends. I burned myself out on it and redirected my focus on DF and stuff. Will change gears again here now.

I sometimes ignore age rolls for non drop-in backgrounds if I have a reason, like wanting to be the right age to be in the same year of school as the protagonists.

We appreciate what you do for us, don't feel like you need to push yourself.

Its all good. I have fun doing it. I just never expected this manga about eating amazing food to suddenly have Back Channels, Time Traveling, Space Flight, Gourmet Gods and bullshit.

Currently biggest challenge is just figuring out which origins get what and what to add. Also got some scenarios roughed out.
>>
>>54248182
Thank you, Toriko-Anon.
>>
>>54248068
Finally, a jump that takes the whole "jumper is a plague the benefactor throws at settings for the lulz" idea seriously.
>>
>>54247662
Sometimes I choose to remain the same age as I was when I ended the last jump. I've gotten pretty old because of that after a few consecutive jumps, but for some I do roll since it only makes sense for it.

I want to use Arena Mode as a holodeck thing to relive good experiences, instead of as a training method.

Sounds like a great plan. Since it can be a simulation of anything you encountered before in a What If scenario, spend it on the beach with friends and family or something.

I struck no blows on first contact with the megahives. I just patted one on the head, fed another some sandwiches and strolled on into the hive and smacked the third on the mandibles with a rolled up newspaper while the things bounched around like excited puppies. There just didn't seem to be a point, when they were also on the tipping point of full blown sapience.

Even some of my companions were surprised to find out what a great druid I was. Which is unfair. I've got a PhD in Applied Druidism! I just spend most of my time applying it to nanorobotics.

In a couple of months I had a pretty spiffy buggo civilisation up and running, as it's patron deity. With other voracious, vaguely insectile alien DNA samples we took advantage of their hive sociology and voracious evolution to grow all the comforts of civilisation-metropolitan tunnels, chitinous skyscrapers and pseudo-Nydus Canal train tracks! I'm not sure if it was the Ork DNA or the territoriality, but the bugs also quickly took to football.

Everything went wrong almost a decade later.

Another random question: Anyone know of something like the Multi-Universal Com from Project Freelancer? It just gets clear signal no matter where you are in the local multiverse. Seems pretty useful but I can't afford it.

I was minding my own business, just pondering state policy in my basilica-throne. Ageha had reported that global ecumenism was still very prevalent, which didn't make sense because Y-'s reports told me faith was at the lowest it had been. I was thinking about miracle-sacrifice analysis, when the Hive Parliament came in. Forelimbs folded apologically behind their backs.

"On behalf of our respective territories, we are sorry to say we've unanimously decided to opt for agnostic atheism" said Hss'gronk, a descended from my very own hive seed. "With all due respect, we'd like you to vacate the premises at your earliest convenience"

What? Why?! I asked. I objectively exist! I held you when you were an egg, you ingrate!

"We know! It's just that philosophically, we feel we need to live or die on our own merits rather than be coddled under your light forever. We do wish you the best and we hope we can stay in contact, it's just-we'd like some time to grow as a civilisation by ourselves"

Well, shit. It became apparent to me then, that the species had adapted to my hand of friendship by evolving independence.

So I left.

Totally not tearing up over how quickly my adoptive bug-babies were growing up.

-Samus, The Boss (Power Blade, Armor Up (Free), Throw and Return (400), Personal Shield (0)
-Kiva, Pleinair (Metal Storm: Giant Robot Pilot (Free), Personal Shield (300), Immortal Defendor (0)

I theorised there must be some conceptual boundary between the four game-realities.

>"So, you have piloted a giant robot right?"
>"..."
>"Well no, that's not...quite the same thing"
>"..."
>"Wait, really? How many lightyears?!"
>"..."
>"Alright kid, you drive a hard bargain but fine-you get the big guns"

So I found it, and started programming.

>"You know, you really should get your vocal programming fixed"
>"I-I-I'll have yOU k-k-k-know t-this vOIce has s-s-sENtimental v-vAlu-u-u-ue!"
>"Just don't blame me if you get infected and I can't tell the difference. I wish we could take off these masks"
>"H-hOW do these i-insEcts e-e-even MOVE in these d-d-dresses?"

Because I didn't really find anything interesting in the games, so I figured hey-might as well make my own game to play.

>(many hours of firing phasers and snapped necks later)
>"Nice shot"
>"You're pretty good, yourself"
>"Hey, I understood that reference!"
>"What reference?"
>"...nevermind..."
>(continued xeno slaughter)

Something more nuanced. Like an RTS. So few RTSes around these days.

>"I am codename Shatterhand!"
>"No, /I/ am codename Shatterhand!"
>"You will never convince me I am not codename Shatterhand!"
>"Then I'll have to convince you-WITH MY FISTS"

And that's why my companions came back to find AI, space alien, kabuki dancer and American civilisations challenging each other with trade sanctions and building wonders.

It's not like I haven't run higher stakes conspiracies. But none so wildly nonsensical. There are currently three stacks of paper on my mahogany rich person desk: One of which is a complex analysis on Nazi-dinosaur relationships, and the progress of their moon laser. Another of which claims Kennedy's assassination was a misfire aimed at an invisible KGB spy. A third, wildly dogeared stack of papers were (clearly panicked) transcripts between conspiracies shortly after my nature was revealed.

That damned whizzing galaxy is legit fascinating, though. How the HECK are hydrogen and iron maintaining structural integrity under normal physics? More importantly-can we reverse engineer that?! I've belayed having someone throw another galaxy back to divert it (Galaxia was disappointed) just to study what space-time anomaly is letting it approach the Earth /even faster/ than it's speed would allow for.

It's an endless slog of lies, misinformation and shit I don't want to believe in.

Requiring a roll for drop-ins has always been one of those things that bugged me, but what actually caused me to ask was when I was looking for plot butterfly protection perks I happened to be skimming through Worm and glanced at the age roll.
Worm's age range is 2d8+14 (16-30)
Taylor (a villain) starts at age 15
Vista (a hero) is 13
Dinah (a victim/rogue) is described as looking 12 (actual age isn't specified, and unreliable narrator applies.)

Given that all three are plot-important (and rather powerful natural triggers) it struck me that any attempt to step into the plot around them would most likely, given the bell curve of multiple dice, make for a very creepy situation. And of the three, only one could be considered a "peer" even at the lowest roll.

By the time I had to meet the German chancellor to remind him about the difference between power and control, I was annoyed enough to cut to the chase. Get the Nazis outta here, I was telling him. Here is evidence. Here is public opinion. Here are some eyewitness accounts by top Navy Seals. Here is the funding you'll need. Chop chop, with our luck we'll have another planet busting conspiracy on our hands next week.

"...oh? Iz dat what you zink, Herr Anon? Vell, vell, vell. It would appear ze game is, how you say. UP" I frowned. His normally refined accent, had suddenly become a nasally whine of a caricature.

No. Surely not. Only now, did I think to look at the wriggling under his paunch. By the time he whipped out his Aryant gun, I was safely behind a flipped table.

"Ze Fourth Reich can't be stopped! It's a shame, we could have used another ubermensch in our ranks!"

Shot after shot punched holes in my office wall. But the chancellor's steps were jerky, his movements suddenly uncoordinated because-

"-zat's right! We vere, how you say, THREE CLONED MIDGET HITLERS ON STILTS ALL ALONG!" shrieked the unholy Hitlerstack, as it waved a gun at me. "And zanks do ze dinosaurs, our interstellar moon laser is now operational enough to SIPHON A ROGUE GALAXY'S LIGHT TO CLEANSE THE EARTH! WAHAHAHA!"

Elune help me, I thought.

She did, and Phyre joined in too. The moon laser misfired, cleansing Mars of subhumans instead. As the Hitlers roared demands into an anachronistic walky talky, I shouted "Schnitzel". And the memetics finally took effect, causing the Hitlers to perceive each others as enemies of the state.

I spent the next hour filming the ensuing midget brawl on sonic screwdriver, then anonymously uploading it to Youtube. As I finished, the last midget Hitler gasped out "Trust no one...not even...your selves!" with his dying breath.

Realising it was probably a codeword for the dinosaur conspiracy's ears, I realised I was going to be late for lunch.

Hey WoWAnon/JC have y'all been keeping up with the dank WoW story? Its stupid, I know. Because we got the end of the Legion expansion already, or at least end of the Burning Crusade.

Titans were killed by Sargeras but their souls were imprisoned on Argus. Whom btw is both the seat of power of the BL & an Titan-soul. Demons only respawn thanks to Sargeras being in control of Titan-soul Argus.

Illidan is empowered by the Pantheon's remaining strength. He glows yellow, has a Draenei esque na'aru symbol floating on his brow & has angel wings. He's now gonna be the next Lich King, I mean jailer of the Scourge, shit I mean Burning Legion.

Barely Sapient Animal Companion has the word companion in the name, but the description leaves my unsure if they're meant to be considered one. Given some of them are literally just animals with Lantern rings I'm leaning towards them not being companions, just powerful pets... But then again, Ch'p is there, and isn't he from some alien squirrel race?

Are they, the Hope Corgi in particular, companions that require active slots or just well equipped pets? I'm fine not importing him, I just want to have a Hope Corgi without going over the active companion limit.
