Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water edition:
Why do you refuse to get on the boat? What lurks below the waves waiting for you that terrifies you to your very soul?

First for the truest and purest love goddess Naderi!
Do not fear the boats, though their presence halts plot development, for you are closer to Naderi's damp bosom.

Boats are a trap, pure and simple. You're stuck on a limited amount of space at the whims of a monster who can basically instakill you by pulling you overboard.
>realized my app wouldn't get into Ensoulment
>made peace with myself about it and moved on
I hope others are at ease as the app period finally winds down and the picks are finally made.
I made a Sylph for an Inner Seas campaign, with the DM's idea that he was born near the Eye of Abendego. He was probably born to and raised by pirates, since those seem like the only folk who would live or sail so close to the thing. So, what would life be like around the Sodden Lands, the Shackles, or pirating on the southern seas? Anyone else played a character from that area?

If you haven't already take a look at the Isles of the Shackles and the Pirates of the Inner Sea books (both should be in the trove) for a good survey of life as a pirate. The Shackles is surprisingly diverse in terms of the kind of environment your character could have grown up in.

Hoping for some help with my thundercaler bard. We are playing a heavy metal band. 2 bards and 2 skalds. The other bard is going dirge/sound striker. The skalds I'm not sure of yet, probably war drummer and fated champion last I heard. Dirge bard wants to coupdegrace unconscious enemies so he can start necrodancing. With so many overlapping skills I think my focus should be on maxing my rounds of bardic performance so that I can virtuoso performance while using thunder call or casting spells. 1pp only unless it is flavorful 4-10~ish, mostly not sure how the feat progression should look
Use the actually active thread.
