Perhaps an infusions option that makes infusions appear for you to find either on or just off the path of your adventurers like the twins left for Booker?

It would provide a source of infusions for jumpers (and anyone who jumpers give their custom designed vigors to) without making them too cheap/easy or expensive/unreasonable to get.
>>
>>54053603
I mean, there's also the jump for the Heroes, and I think Digger wanted to make more of them (I think I heard something about the toons at least)?

Here's Infinite reupdated, mostly altered the item page.

Changelog:

Veni Vidi Vigor now guarantees no mishaps from handling ADAM or using ADAM based products.

Minibar now updates when brought to new locations.

Infusion is now 50 CP from 100.

Presidential Airship and Fireworks items were both added.

Motorized Patriot now has a robot import option letting you turn your dusty old robot into a more presidential robot with a gatling gun.

It's something that permanently boosts a stat, an infinite supply is probably not a great idea in terms of balance. It's not all that different from the Attribute thing in Skyrim although in this instance you can't actually upgrade the stat by training and with this one you've got to down a drink.
>>
>>54054106
Isn't some kind of infinite supply necessary in this case? There is a cap to how much it can improve an attribute anyway and you NEED a way to boost people's Salts if you want to be making and distributing Vigors.

Katrina Wellengood, my assistant from Phoenix Wright. She was my first companion and was originally a perfect foil to me - energetic, spunky, determined, hot-headed, you name it. We became fast friends after I managed to acquit her father from a murder case, and she was behind me for years every step of the way. I probably would have been attracted to her if not for the awkward age difference.

Then she found out about the rest of the chain. The idea of power and adventure intrigued her and our first jump together was in Batman. However, my refusal to kill all the psychopaths we encountered, including pre-Hyde Smile, wore thin on her patience and I soon witnessed her die in front of me. She came back the next day, but I was terrified of her or others getting hurt on my behalf again, and began to avoid adventure and danger like the plague, much to her frustration.

Then Smile returned unexpectedly in Rurouni Kenshin, with me completely blindsided due to the above. Millions died and Smile was only defeated when the damage was done. Kat blamed me. Blamed Yuki. Said it was all my fault for letting it get that bad in the first place. She became angry and bitter, and the next time we spoke we nearly punched each other to death.

Then, she was gone. Back home, that is.

...

I guess it's up to you about who was right and who was wrong.

>you NEED a way to boost people's Salts if you want to be making and distributing Vigors

Not really, just sell a lot of coffee and cigarettes. Might not be able to use them all the time but there are already upgrades to the Vigors themselves that make them a shitload more efficient.

The only way of balancing it and giving an infinite supply of Infusions is to hardcap the maximum health, salts and shield people can get as a broad ruling. Anything else risks giving people an endless amount of health and a shield that can't be broken for 50 CP. The whole hardcap thing is more unpleasant than just leaving it as an item for people who have 50 CP left and leave it to people who want to figure out how to make infusions themselves. The Luteces managed it and there was similar upgrades in Rapture.

So no it's still not getting changed at this point.

>It's something that permanently boosts a stat, an infinite supply is probably not a great idea in terms of balance
Think of it like Super serum. It gives a permanent benefit, but that benefit is not uncapped, instead having an upper limit.
Bamebalance wise, we already have stuff like that (things that can give permanent boosts to people) Heart shaped herbs, several super serums, those cauldron vials, various blessings you can bestow on others.

A drink that gives a small buff to some attribute, usable by only one person, and then vanishes forever is a unfun option.

Also, what are the Shields? are they a special kind of Vigor?

You already do that! in the Notes it says that you can only benefit from 10 infusions of a certain type just like it is in the game.

>Particle Physics
>You are an extremely well-educated physicist and have a fine working knowledge of Lutece particles. Use of such particles allows you to cause massive objects to float or hover, even whole buildings and cities.
So, a cursory google search of 'Lutece' makes me think this is a made up particle. Which can make use of this actually using perk problematic in later jumps (you know how you make stuff float with a suitable supply of unobtanium. Unobtanium not included). Maybe make this perk 100 CP and add a supply for 200 CP? Or specify it included knowledge to easily make them, but a look at the wiki makes it seem like tear technology may have been involved in obtaining them, and you have that stuff locked down in the jump.

Recognize that Ainz is an epic-level DnD spellcaster. Recognize that the strongest mages/druids/warlocks etc in WoW are also equivalent to epic-level DnD Spellcasters. Ainz is a big fucking deal and he might approach the Lich king, but he's not unstoppable.
>>
>>54055968
Mages in WoW never directly do anything that impressive without stealing power from dead gods or something.
>>
>>54055934
Considering we are 4/5 Aspects murdered (though one is a future version and another had been replaced afterwards), Aspects aren't all that anymore.

>>54055968
And this is pretty accurate, specially since WoW rips a lot straight out of DnD.

>>54056005
Lore wise they have, but players are limited by the spells they are allowed to use. Canonically mages can do crazy shit. Hell a lot of the problems in WoW are from casters to stupid crazy shit.

In addition to my past edits, I adjusted the price for Star-Talking (and gave a discount when it's taken with the Twinkle drawback) and lowered the price for Hidden Kisses. The wording on Creature of Darkness is just fluff, although if you go on an epic quest to both pull the Sun away from the Games as well as some exploits of extreme virtue enough to convince him to take you off the shitlist, I am not gonna say no. Especially given that would probably take most of the ten years anyway.

The Wyld Hunt drawback is intended to make them scale up when fighting you, and to be a lot more focused on taking you down. The main issue with the Wyld Hunt is that it is understaffed and is now dealing with like 300 Solars as opposed to just one or two. Ordinarily they'll struggle to organize forces against you just because there are so many other targets. This drawback ensures that they are a constant legitimate threat to any jumper who takes it, as opposed to being able to write them off a lot of the time.

>>54056840
You would probably go to (very)extreme lengths to protect the people you have sworn to protect. Its not right to have a combo of drawbacks that is an auto lose, but I really would not recommend picking both those.

Sorcery is pretty dope. It has a lot of spells that can pull a lot of work. Especially at the solar circle you start getting into crazy shit. Solar Sanctuary can summon up like a dozen manses over the course of an evening, Benediction of Archgenesis is a G.E.C.K, Pressed Beyond The Veil can shunt a city into Elsewhere making it almost impossible to get to, and Unity of the Closed Fist lets you do a fusion dance with any willing participants. Plus you can just start making your own spells up which always leads to good times. Sorcerous Workings are also a new thing from 3e which basically lets you cook up just about anything, up to and including altering reality to make it so anyone who wishes to learn sorcery can find a way to do it, at least at the highest level of solar working. Although these workings are limited by ability, resources, and time so do bear that in mind.

Yes. Especially if you go with 3e's variant.

It can throw entire regions outside of reality to only be accessed by you or those with a key, annihilate armies with a column of burning green light, afflict entire kingdoms with a curse that can only be broken through a specific condition, cast a protection around area that hides it from those that wish it harm for months at a time, summon, bind, and banish 3rd Circle demons, seal someone's soul into another vessel, create a protection that copies every attack made against you back at the attacker, temporarily fuse people together into a giant composite being of all of them, twist someone's lifeforce against themselves until it kills them (actually getting stronger against stronger victims), kill someone with five elemental attacks at any range as long as you have a link to them (the victim's soul transformed into an elemental, which appears by the Sorcerer bound to serve him), create instant oases or verdant paradises with an area of hundreds of square miles, and turn the water of rivers into fire.

And also summon the Magma Kraken

Unconquered Perk.
It regenerates (spiritual) energy pools?
negates Shaping/Reality Warping on your person?
Makes you pretty?
We've had a 'you personally are immune to being wished away' perk before, and it kind of sucked because instead of turning you into a pillar a scorpians directly they could just turn everything around you into anti-matter with the same ability. This is a solar perk, extend the range of that protection to the solars aura. Sort of like a Perk backed IPP.
The beauty thing, there is already a appearance perk in the general section. have buff the free perk like it buffs capstones instead of having 'Power & Majesty' come in levels.

>The Three Circles of Sorcery
have this some with some free spells so you can do something with it at the start, instead of being a spell-less sorcerer. The dispelling spell from each circle, the demon summoning spell of each circle, and 3 other spells for example.

>Lunar Mate

Sword of the Sun seems kind of off for a Solar capstone. Seems like it should be about making you better than your enemies worse, given the Solar's themes.

Also, unconquerable should be reduced in price, since it's base effects are 2 chargen level merits and charms made permanent with an essence recharge rate.

You need to make it explicit that it scales to out of jump stuff, then, because most people have enough faith in their jumpmakers to assume that they wouldn't be retarded enough to offer a drawback for 1000s of scaling enemies for only 400 CP when boosting them to the level they were is already complete suicide.

It says that companions can't make them, but it doesn't says that you cannot grab a Solar as an Einherjar (from Valkyrie Profile) and have him train and make them for you.

Or just handle Exaltations and have their bearers create charms for you. Or just use the Charms of your Third Circle Souls in Infernals by having them transferred to you through perks.
>>
>>54057632
No they aren't. I have thread consensus.
>>
>>54057632
It'd be better if they instead prevented people from learning E6+ Charms in the first place. The sourcebooks are not exhaustive, and being able to learn a few E6 Charms in-setting ales no sense when there's no distinction in the setting and there are plenty of Charms which aren't custom and aren't covered. Or at least allow people to draw on 3e or a list of homebrew Charms for inspiration.
>>
>>54057569
Nobody knows what an Esssence 10 Solar charm would look like or do. If not for the restriction, my jumper would be doing the logical thing and rushing as many Essence 10 charms as possible, which means I'd have absolutely no idea what I was or wasn't capable of doing. Being restricted to canon charms is the only way I can model what my jumper has.

I'm not having the 'Charms exist for this so the perk should be different/better' argument again. Most I'll agree with you on is that the appearance boost is redundant since it has a proper perk, now. I'll take a gander at it.

I'd think having the drawback make sure that regardless of difficulties the Realm is having, the Wyld Hunt they send against you are as good as the peak Wyld Hunt would be sufficient. It managed to drive Elder Essence Lunar Elders into the Wyld beyond creation after all. And kept them there until their exaltations broke. No fiat scaling should be implied, or needed.

Because some of us actually want that ban to be lifted. It made sense when we didn't have so many jumps that involved reality warping and blowing up planets. Now it's just an arbitrary limitation with no real basis.

And I don't see how it would stop exalted wanking when you can make your own Exaltations now.
>>
>>54057742
They could dick-measure harder already. There are dozens of magic systems that are uncapped, with comparable bullshit, and even less guidelines. I don't why people think Exalted is such a special snowflake setting that it should be restricted, even when there are plenty of examples to build from.

Could just have them take up companions slots as normal, like Infernals and Lunars has it? There's no real reason you /need/ to make them some special companion-companion just because they're a pair.

>You might be better off fan-wanking a newfound Lunar pack for the relevant jump just happening to be their bondmates?

You guys must be either really fast readers or completely missed the point here. Or didn't bother with the pastebin. Honestly, either sounds fine to me.

The problem with 6+ Charms and their guidelines is that they make no bloody sense. It's basically [handwave x10]. Okay, I know you're just going to think I'm the guy baiting you, but I'm not. I am going to make a case for it, however.

Canon E6+ stuff for Solars that I can think of off the top of my head includes an archery Charm that lets you launch an arrow that can hit anyone under the sun and another Charm that lrts you see anything that's happened under the sun for the last few centuries. The only Essence 10 thing I can think of is that the Charm that allows you to perform surgery to restore a person's youth upgrades to allow you to not have to pay a point of temporary willpower to avoid needing to renew it yearly or have them return to old age. Sure, that stuff is impressive, but honestly isn't that big of a deal. Certainly nothing you wouldn't be able to do better with less time in other magic systems or probably even Sorcery as it is now in Exalted.

>Explain to me how to make all of this logically sound or in a way that won't heavily encourage (more) dick-measuring arguments, and I'll make a case for it.
Eh? I don't see how it'll encourage more. People who don't understand Exalted will continue wanking/hating it as they always have and those that do know and like it will just be able to do mkre with their Exalted stuff, enhancing their enjoyment of it instead of feeling gimped.
>>
>>54057964
Infernals allows it, although they still cost 200 CP there. Then again, the Akuma option gives them their Yozi's perks.
>>
>>54057998

>Anyways, if anyone can make sense of the charm guidelines I pasted and make them into a coherent template for others, I'll either agree or stop arguing about it.

So, what do you think of making custom epic spells in D&D?
>>
>>54056146
My signature weapon actually is a companion. Heaven Punisher began life as Mucro Regis: Takezo from BlazBlue, before being imported as a Demon Weapon in Soul Eater so that I could grant it perks in addition to the other upgrades. The name is a reference to the Chinese comic Feng Shen Ji, where the swordsman Zi Yu (best character in the comic, wish he was the protagonist instead of Ah Gou even though I actually do like Ah Gou a lot) is able to summon and banish countless swords using "smelting aura", the setting's equivalent of chi. His strongest blade he can create using smelting aura is Heaven Punisher, a flaming blade able to burn the divinity out of a god. My Heaven Punisher has a similar feature in that it can vanish into incorporeality when I'm not wielding her, and also has some strong anti-magic and anti-divine features, so that's her title when we get all mythological.
>>
>>54057964
>It's basically [handwave x10]
So, like most magic systems then? How often do you see people ask CJ if a certain type of spell would be ok in DC Occult? Or Val about the plausibility of a technique using Pulling Powers Out of Her Ass? The answer is almost never. I think the fact that Exalted is a tabletop game is making you forget that "hand-waving shit" is how the vast majority of magic and tech perks work. Having vague rules is usually the standard, not the exception.
>>
>>54058045
I think the anon was talking about the Elves from the other books. They're kinda bullshit.
>>
>>54058078

>>54058045

>>54057742
>I'm not having the 'Charms exist for this so the perk should be different/better' argument again.
I'm arguing this
>Just as well, your light banishes all attempts to erase or deny your existence - the only things that will alter your body or being is what you permit, though you may still be wounded by force or destruction.
needs an area effect or it just gets sidestepped by enemies altering the space just outside where you are to the same effect. And it just effecting your body doesn't make a lot of sense given the
>your light banishes all attempts to erase or deny
part. their light should cover a radius.

Unconquered is about 100 CP to expensive as is. It needs a buff or a price drop, not a nerf like removing the appearance effect charging separately for that.

>Kinda goes into a weird 'companions having companions' territory.
Not so.

Like 100 CP, you can have a Lunar Mate, new or imported, or for 200 CP, any Solars purchased above can also have Lunar mates as well, new or imported. You would be spending the CP, not the companions.

Like how the Solar option is 100/300/600, the Lunar Mate option could come in two tiers.

>Anyways, if anyone can make sense of the charm guidelines I pasted and make them into a coherent template for others, I'll either agree or stop arguing about it
The guidelines are bullshit. Here is the guideline for the Essence level that includes fucking Heavenly Guardian Defense:

>Charms with an Essence minimum of 2 are usually feats appropriate to pulp and epic heroes.

The truth is there's no difference at all between Essence 5, 6, and 7 Charms, which is why they're all available to young Solars. The 6 and 7 ones are artificially inflated just so they can claim to have high essence charms in the book.

By the same token, Essence 8 and higher exist solely so that the authors can block you from getting a certain effect by making it canon that you need a higher than possible Essence score. I recall one of the devs, probably Holden, saying they wrote Youth Restoring Benison just to demonstrate how hard it was for Solars to undo aging.
>>
>>54057964
>I feel like I'd have to ask Mardukth about it.
I think he'd be perfectly fine with it. The lunar jump has a Solar mate option, and Infernals has Lunar Mates with optional FREE Heart-Pupils!

>>
>>54057964
C'mon. We have Marvel and DC Magic. Aside from Umineko's magic, you can't get higher than that.

>>The truth is there's no difference at all between Essence 5, 6, and 7 Charms, which is why they're all available to young Solars
No they're not. Great evidence you don't know the game.
>>
>>54058029
Was mostly talking about how to make it a template that's easy for /jc/ folks to use and understand, but, that's a fair point. I feel like there's a weird dissonance between the guidelines and the actual Charms, though.

I'll concede I don't have a good rebuttal, here. I'm mostly wondering if there's ways to narrow it down a bit better? There is a bit less content for Sidereals and Lunars, if I remember right, though the latter do get 'BECOME HUEG' knacks after a while.

Anyways, touche', anon.
>>54058058
I don't think, really.
>>54058038
Wait, it does?
>checks
Well, hot damn, nevermind then. Lunar Mates for everyone!
>>54058078
Actually that happened a lot when Majikoi first came out and when people kept decrying DC Occult magic as 'easy omnipotence'. Those were just generally jackassery and trolling, though, so your point still stands. That's fair.

Alright, I'll concede on this since I was mostly interested in seeing if the guidelines could be made sense of. Whether or not that changes is still up to the jumpmakers and not really something I have control of. That and the guy who made Sidereals is gone, I believe?

But, honestly, guys. If it bothers you so much, just ignore it and keep it to yourselves. There's no thought police out to stop you. There's not that much of a net difference when it comes down to it, especially since custom charms are a weird gray area as it is. I've only seen Battler go the full mile and make trees for it.
>>54058169
Completely accurate. I'm glad someone caught it.
>>54058116
...wait, isn't that how anti-Shaping/anti-reality warping perks have worked since...ever? Did I miss a memo, here?

I could do the following
1. Make the anti-Shaping an AoE, ala Wyld-shaping Technique
2. Take out the appearance boost
3. Make it 400, which will encourage more Caste purchases.

How's that, or am I paying too much attention to this?
>>54058221
Pre-Voyager cap says what
>>
>>54057964
You don't need to? The guidelines are flowery, poetic, and vague. Like everything else in Exalted. That's the same type od language that Devil Tiger stuff uses.

There's no direct guide for what each E6+ Essence level should entail... but is there a direct guide for what E1-5 should?

Besides the fact that that's how most magic and whatnot works to begin with – including the fact that there is even more vague and bullshit stuff in some of your other jumps like how magic is supposed to work in Highschool DxD for example or what you're actually capable of when your reach the levels of the Gods of Destruction in DBZ... besides that fact, so what? This is an imagination game. It all runs off of fanwank and making shit up. We're not treading new territory here.
>>
>>54057411
>I don't understand the question.
Not that anon, but I think they're asking for a version without their face.

Also, I'm assuming to get canon companions other than Elizabeth (such as the Luteces) you'd still need out of jump means (pod, blue feather, etc)?
>>
>>54058208
She was there entirely because the original novel had no women in the group. She's there for the female audience entirely.
>>
>>54058232
Here's a rebuttal: If you do what the shitposter is demanding you do, you give him cause to shitpost at Mardukth and Wukong to change their jumps too, and he's going to attack them constantly until they allow Essence 6+ charms.
>>
>>54058270
I'm not changing the charm clause? Like, at all? That's outside of my territory, anyways. Only thing I'm considering is the capstone boost right now.
>>
>>54058232
>>54058270
Also since InNomine is no longer around he's going to shitpost and attack him like he does SoAnon and Dirge, as well as castigate his Sidereals jump and shitpost about it whenever it comes up.

Because a bunch of flowery language is not a basis for fiat restriction? Seriously that is all just a colorful descriptions that literally just amount to house rule it.

"Custom Charms" is completely arbitrary and only means anything from an OOC meta point of view. How does such a restriction even work in chain, if it was just no learning 6+ charms then fine that would suck but fine.

This just makes no damned sense.

Any of the high essence charms are lost and Exalted jumpers or their companions would have to recreate them, does that mean they are banned custom charms? What about all the 6+ charms we know exist but aren't listed for one reason or another, are they banned custom charms even when jumper just found them in setting? Is it just a completely meta thing that fucks with the setting in a futile attempt to keep anons from wanking?

This is like saying, OK epic magic can do a lot of shit and since in the non gameplay version of D&D it has a much wider range of stuff it could potentially do it is banned so that nobody wanks that they win everything forever with some weird super spell. While completely ignoring that anyone who is going to do that will do it anyway with the rule only screwing over people who just want to have fun with it.

Although I would have removed the 400 CP version of Power & Majesty, and had Unconquered boost it instead. Unconquered would boost the free version to the 200 CP version, and the 200 CP version to the "golden essence of the Unconquered Sun" version.

"Wait, what are you doing with your skyhook?"

"Golden Ratio, don't fail me now"

Cue screaming pinkermen falling out of the sky, and Jumper flying by flapping his arms, while a very bewildered girl rides on his shoulders.

Elizabeth took magic (and Stands) being real pretty well. The Songbird's freaked her out until I showed her that a) magic can be taught and b) as an Electric.Metal-type, it's weak to water attacks.

Downing THAT got Comstack all riled up. By the time we literally ran into Booker and Elizabeth Prime, the whole city was out for blood. Bastards let an entire building fall after it turns out dousing a quantum ghost with the First Flame makes terrible, terrible things happen.

So, I had to go full angel to put the literal fear of God in the old man. Incidentally, smite the Siphon into a pillar of salt. Salts, rather. Gotta love the classics!

After coming through our misadventure a mostly stronger person, my very own Elizabeth Delta talked Elizabeth Prime out of suicide by giving her a new purpose in life as a one-woman infinite barbershop quartet. We spent the rest of the decade touring alternate versions of Columbia and singing for our supper.

While anti-dragon weapons are a good starting point, they have to get through his armor. You could always fly into his mouth mounted on a Night Fury wielding a Greater Mounted Dragonlance and hit him from the inside, but that could also go horribly wrong if you don't have enough fire resist/immunity.

It's hard to say what not to do when imperfect hybrids usually have just as much flavor as cohesive hybrids. Chimeras and stitched together monstrosities that literally appear as a creature with varying parts jammed together on one body can look great.

I'd say a "don't" would be completely ignoring one or more of the components in your hybrid lifeform when thinking on the aesthetic. Adding some form of nod, no matter how small, helps establish the connection better.

As for another piece of advice, you should generally remember that this thing you're making is going to be alive and do things living things do, like walk, move, breathe, sleep. It could look really cool or have great powers, but if its head is on fire it won't be able to avoid burning stuff, and if it was made with an awkward limb distribution it could end up eternally uncomfortable.

I think this is good advice. Think it over yourself too. Maybe other people have better stuff or would advise against this.

Yes, but not with the ones offered. If you take those, you are a Master in the war. If you don't and find some way to summon a Servant anyway, you're not a Master but they don't become a companion automatically either, you'll need to use a pod.

>>54052435
Not the one you get through the jump. it is either summoned by your origin self OR summoned later without being affected by your perks. Yes it doesn't make too much sense but it was the only way I could allow you to summon a Servant after starting the jump, otherwise it'd seriously fuck over the balance of the Supplement. Any other Servants you personally summon? Sure, works just fine.

>>54052528
That is the case though. Summoning perks will affect the First.

Nope. Let's Give it A Boost also makes an item cost half as costly, so if anything any random mook could use it, and you could spam it endlessly.
>>
>>54059242
Nope. All those nice jump benefits are only for the Servant/s you get via the jump. Ones you summon yourself will have to be entirely supported by you and whatever systems you make instead.

I'm going to level with you, my crude system for sorting jumps has left me uncertain exactly how anti-spiral I was when I entered WoW

It's more than a hundred jumps after Light of Terra but well before Age of Ice, so I'm PRETTY sure we're approaching the relapse arc of the Darling era.

But. On the OTHER hand, the Void Gods ARE exploiting organic reproduction to literally destroy the world. So, IC it MIGHT be worth pulling a Lordgenome on a species, in order to cull the literal Spiral Nemeses bubbling up from the bottom of the world.

I'm pretty sure "pull a Lordgenome" summarises a lot of my Jumper's solutions to the cavalcade of disasters in Azeroth, actually.

>>
>>54059465
Okay, I think they're saying that things you summon with the First always existed in your personal reality. For people who don't have the First, those things did not exist and were essentially pulled out of thin air.

Imagine that you and your waifu are sitting in a room, and you notice some vidya sitting on a table. You say, "hey, look at that vidya." Waifu says "what vidya?" and her hand passes right through it when she touches where you're pointing. Then, you reach for the vidya and pick it up, and waifu freaks out because, to her, it appears like you just conjured vidya out of thin air. For you, however, the vidya was always there, you didn't create it.

Or maybe I'm wrong and bullshiting, and just made things way more confusing.

Well I felt like this jump was a bit of a bait and switch. I came here happy to begin my pokemon journey. I may have been way too old to start one but I was looking forward to catching pokemon and challenging gyms… and then everything turned out being about romance and love.

Well I had abilities (From Exalted Sidereals) that would help in those regard so I started a business to help people and pokemon find their true loves. Through many harrowing adventures I played cupid and brought many beings together and spread happiness

I became in great demand as a match maker. I even helped legendary pokemon like Mewtwo (who was genderless) find someone to love.

In the end I guess I can’t complain I wouldn’t have been able to take my pokemon friends with me and I helped a lot of people. I guess that’s what counts.

>Perks
Add the following line to Perks:
All perks are discounted (half price) to their matching Origin, and a discounted 100 CP perk is free.

>Inspiration [Varies]:
And also drop the price to 50 CP per point of inspiration here.
My reasoning is this Inspiration is something you can raise in the Jump without paying CP at all. You've done a good job of making the perks things above & beyond the common Genius, and that is a good thing! But ironically, Inspiration is universal. The Lemurian price drop is related, because the extra thing they have is the 2 extra points of Inspiration, and charging that much for something you can easily attain in jump seems unfair to the origin.

>Stress Testing
The perk is good, but the name doesn't really fit. Maybe 'A Sufficiently Advanced Inspiration...'

>Items
Add the following line to Items:
All items are discounted (half price) to their matching Origin, and a discounted 100 CP item is free.

>Wondrous Devices [100]
put the free devices in the header, like
Wondrous Devices [100 CP each, three purchases free]
And for small utility wonders like this drop the price to 50 CP

Consider adding higher tiers for the Greater Wonders like Dirigibles, Giant Moving Colossus, & the like.

Or a flat price for a Transferable Wonder Warranty that does not give you a Wonder, but can grant CP protections (like recovering if lost, damaged, or destroyed) to a wonder you make at a later date for when your precious invention inevitably blows up somehow.

I don't blame you, I just copied Altria's because my servant was Charlemagne. But because Altria is actually a space alien and thus in Nasu the myth that Charlemagne is his/her descendent is wrong, that NP is no longer a valid one because his Joyeusse isn't hers. So now I have to either come up with new powers (and all his sword did was shine like a rainbow) or else switch to my back up servant and figure out her NP (which is hard because her main claim to fame is summoning armies of the undead, which would be covered under something like HSDW or Witchcraft and thus not justify a NP) and I have no idea what to base it on.

Sorry to throw fuel in this fire, but there's an important point no one's brought up (on top of several other good points). Essentially, cutting off that level of power is silly when it's already accessible within the jump. As wiling points out here:
>>54057413
We can already get sorceries workings, which are as good/better than E6+ charms (explicitly being called out as "can do anything it's possible to do" in the source book), and it's easier to access them than it is to build yourself up to the ridiculous essence level required for comparable charms.

So basically the question is, if the jump already allows us to do everything E6+ charms can do, and to do it easier than E6+ charms would allow, then what's the point of cutting off those charms?
>>
>>54060857
What the issue is in my case, is I can legit not think of anything she can really NEED or WANT at this time. Due to Val's ruling on "NP imports," can't do the Harkonnen or it's spear-modes as those are far and above what EX allows.

She's got enough beasts, via soul-experiments and Grimm, that no summon or mount is really needed.

Got PLENTY of shadows an' shiite, and her necromancy's boosted enough.

Can't think of anything in terms of other abilities.

>>

Without any memory perks, over time you'd lose skills that you don't use, and forget your past experiences.

Wow it's physically difficult to be this fucking wrong. Nasu is all about how crazy awesome humans are if they continue to be human. >but will there be a perk to stop certain others who you didn't give permission to stop from reverse engineering your tech

Actually, that is a pretty good idea for a perk. Turn something Geniuses see as a problem (people other then themselves understanding their tech) into a positive by letting your non-wondrous inventions get treated like Wonders when someone tries to use or reverse engineer them against your will. (The object rapidly breaks down)

Although if you have Pankosmoi, the Needle Grail where your wonders are immune to Havoc, you could probably incorporate a bit of wonder into an invention you want no one else duplicating.

They could use it fine, but it doesn't actually run on normal physics, and could have the equivalent of a gerbil and a snow cone maker under the hood, yet somehow shoots disintegration rays in defiance of normal logic. Duplicating that gets you a gerbil and snow cone maker that DON'T shoot disintegration rays.

That doesn't begin to make any sense, because it suggests that at least the average population of Earth would be able to do that, which should mean that they can fight on par with a Servant, and even if that isn't the case, it should make taking the Fate jump with a non drop in background give you the same level of strength.

Yep.

Just don't take any high powered jumps (or if you do, don't take any high powered perks/equipment, and then don't take advantage of opportunities to acquire such things in jump). Obviously, jumps that give you power right out of the gate just for showing up are a no go.

Try to avoid taking powers that develop over time/ avoid training up any powers that you do have (An infamous conduit at 1000 years old is probably going to be silly strong, as is a Harry Potter wizard).

Be cautious about taking supernatural powers in street level jumps - pick up enough small powers that cover enough bases and it will add up to you being a major threat (basically, taking an immunity to fire on its own doesn't make you

Avoid force multiplier perks like intelligence. You don't want to accidentally become Batman.

Avoid perks that gives you vast amounts of money / social influence. Things that make you a major player indirectly.

So it's possible, but you almost have to explicitly aim for it and avoid opportunites to pick up power.

It's right there in the Perk text anon
>Lets Give It A Boost - 600 - Discount Angel
>Most things work great but, sometimes that just isn't good enough. Sometimes they need alittle extra to get the job done. With you "alittle extra" seems to mean double. Any item you have can have it's effects doubled permanently while also having usage costs halved. It increases all the "stats" of the item you use this ability on so, a hammer hits harder and more accurately while that magic staff you have would shoot more powerful spells at half the charge cost. To do this you simply need multiples of the item you're going to boost. Around three of them, while this would be pretty easy for a hammer or something similar, you'll be pretty hard pressed to find three Death Stars in a decent amount of time. you could improve unique items with regular mundane items but it will take alot more of the mundane kind to double the unique item. that awesome sword that can cut down a skyscraper? You'd probably need about 20 regular swords to improve that.

Would a Xenoverse jump be a good idea? It's a different continuity than any of the current jumps.

My only source of confusion is if I should include Heroes.
>>
>>54061453
No she is average size for aboriginal pygmies thereby not a loli.

I'm really guessing on the number here, but we have over 800 jumps at last count, so I absolutely can't fathom the idea that 1/8th of them aren't below street level.

As for which jumps those are, you really have to look. Off the very top of my head, without looking at the drive, I can name off...
CATastrophe, Nichijou, Winnie the Pooh, Yugioh, Rust probably counts, The Sims, Three Star Gauntlet, Generic Cooking Show, Musician Jump, Mob jump, Animal Crossing, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Black Dynamite, Nintendogs, Goat Simulator, Slice of Life, probably Fast and the Furious, Ed Edd n Eddy, Hamtaro, Youtube, Comedy Jump... how many was that, nineteen? I'm a fifth of the way there.

Batman the Animated Series is at about the upper end of street level, so anything below that would be considered low power, honestly.

How do guys feel about including Heroes? I need to see how integrated it is into the plot/lore of Xenoverse, because it reuses most of the villains and supporting characters and even the plots.
>>
>>54061446
Yes, and the idea is to improve it, and then make copies of the improved item. So, take a sword, run it through and get Sword +1. Make copies of that, run them through to get Sword +2. Do it again for Sword +4, and repeat ad nauseam. There's nothing sayina given item can't be improved multiple times.
>>
>>54061514
In no way shape or form is >>54061453 a full grown woman; she looks twelve. Maybe thats an alt form, but the pic posted looks like prime Hansen bait.
>>
>>54061648
It's bait senpai. He thinks he pissed someone off and he's being mocked so he's trying to save face/get a reaction.
