Besides WoW and D&D, where can I get some polymorphs to hit enemies with? Turn them into sheep or squirrels and such?
>>
>>53992678
MtG. Well, I know the system has it but I don't know if it's available in any of the current jumps. If it isn't, you can probably still engineer it though.
>>
That are most recent jumps uploaded to the drive?

So the boosted capstone in Solars that give should a groundwork for creating Exaltations is cool. But an Exaltation needs power shoved into it to be worth anything. Other than just going Skyfather in Marvel, where would you get the kind of power/metaphysical weight to do that? Since I'm assuming it's a 2e version where Exaltations are still special instead of being something any two-bit harvest god can make.

You'll need second magic to get to the Throne of Heroes seeing it doesn't really exist inside any one dimension.
>>
>>53993001
You'll have to do a makeshift throne of heroes by mass summoning servants or wank Grail Notes that you have a way to make a connection to the Throne of Heroes that'll make it easier to store servants in something. Also summoning a servant makes a copy of them, so as long as you have the servant's soul you should be good to go.

Okay, here's the latest update to the Peter Pan jump.

In response to some feedback from the last thread, I made a few adjustments to the My Shadow companion option. Plus, since it was noted that I had an excessive number of drawbacks, I cut out a few that I thought might be a little extraneous.

Please let me know what you think of the jump, and if I should make any further changes.
>>
When's Magikarp jump jump?
>>
>>53992987
And how do I mass-produce heroic spirit souls? They don't even exist outside of Fate and they're stuck in whatever it is there.
>>

>>

>Stellaris
Is that on the drive? Can't find it.
>>53990188
Unpopular, but i like Light of Terra. There are a few others, but LoT is best imo.
Generic Zombie apocalypse is best generic
God of War, Metroid, and that one setting with robot ninjas called tenno are also good
>>
>>53993348
It says it could give emotions to an eldritch monstrosity, so I'm assuming it does so.
>>
>>53993308
Well I was going to try to start on it but chances are that would take me about a week for a decent jump, you could make it if you want? I dont mind dropping it since I havent actually started it.

Hell I dont actually even claim it, its gonna be a hobby of a build either way due to being a cutesy magikatp clicker game.
>>
>>53993432
>Robots called tenno
>robots
Boy do I have bad news for you anon.
>>
>>53993451
...
>Hides notes.

No, no, go ahead. You doing it means I don't have to. I can't think of anything worth more than 300 cp, so I was going to make it a gauntlet.
>>
>>53993475
big tiddied robots but they're controlled by the souls of long dead humans that got not!warp energy, right? Some of them are infected too, so there's biostuff going on
>>
>>53993480
Dont do that!

Also no need to be a gauntlet, I was gonna do a 600 that lets friends from past jumps come to hang out around your pond only and cheer you on in competitions
>>
>>53993509
No, more like children are sent into the warp then stuck into cryopods so they now inhabit big tiddied bodies made of literally undead biohazard synthetic humanoids. Still children but they forgot that.
>>
>>53993329
See
>>53993077

All you need to do is to summon them once. Illya Cards are...well, the servant in question is gonna be slightly weaker than usual if you use that as a shortcut. With Exaltations you don't need to worry about that.

Or you can do what I did, get Wishcraft from Prillya instead + Demon King capstone from Maoyuu + Digitize Servant souls with Perks and just make a computer that can just copy the darn things.
>>
>>53993511
...so, they just show up and cheer you on? How is that worth 600 cp?

And well, less gauntlet, and more 'starting cp of 300 or so'. That and Quicksilver's 'pokemon first or you'd curbstomp it with OOC power' thing. So, removing powers is the easy way to deal with that.
>>
>>53992678
Ratchet and Clank has several polymorph weapons, the Morph-O-Ray, which turns enemies into chickens, the Sheepinator and Black Sheepinator, which do exactly what you think, with the caveat that the Black Sheepinator creates sheep that explode, and... I think there's one more but I forget what it is.
>>
>>53993536
Having people you have met in past jumps showing up to hang out was just an idea, and nothing was going to be super op, its a game about junping fish really shouldnt get so much power from it.

And I detest gauntlets. If you come in powerful so what? Your fish is the jumping one.
>>
>>53993563
Havent you heard? If you dont give out omnipotence from every clicker game like blade you are a badwrong shitlord and have no place making jumps.
>>
>>53993563
Wait, past jumps. Not just companions. That's actually kinda cool.

How were you planing on setting origins up?
>>
>>53993527
Heh. Pretty Cool.
>>
>>53993292
>excessive number of drawbacks
No such thing. It's all about choice.
>>
>>53993610
Never thought I'd hear someone say that.
>>
>>53993631
Jumpers are weird
>>
>>53993591
Well I was thinking drop in could be the actual magikarp trainer, then have backgrounds based on roddy tackle, the mayor, and possibly either actually being a magikarp or maybe announcer. If I go with a karp origin I AM going to put a perk in for jump and splash all day, so you can find enjoyment in stupid stuff. And maybe a drawback called "why do you jump when nobody cares"

Also a low cp drawback for people constantly roasting/badmouthing you like they do magikarp.
>>
>>53992988
Skyrim.
>>
>>53993680
Looks like a caveman's wet dream
>>
>>53993658
Intersting. I was going with 'Beginner', 'Retired', 'Fan Of', and 'Actual'.

Or, more accurately, beginner trainer, retired trainer, fan of trainers, and actual magikarp. I kinda figured Fan Of would be the drop in, since it would be more sidelines than the other three.

Like the two perk ideas though.
>>
>>53993292
I don't think there really was a need to remove them so much as not add more but okay, I guess.
>>
>>53993690
Well that sounds cool too, I just figured mayor does some neat stuff, he can massage karps back into shape after being overworked and make them happy. Roddy tackle has actual fishing knowledge, and somehow can keep an entire ecosystem of magikarp (and dratini) alive and well.

Plus magikarp are cute.

But if you have some work done already go ahead, I wont stop you.
>>
>>53993733
>>53993690
Ok I need to sleep will check this thread in the morning. Later.
>>
>>53993733
I have, like, ten perks for magikarp, and three for everyone else.

The original plan was just to give retired the perk section, beginner the item, fan of the companion section, and magikarp basically a second item section.

Honestly though, you've kinda sold me on making it regular. Will probably take me longer, but I can probably do it.

Think being a Gyarados is a good capstone for magikarp? Also, who gets that 'past jumps friends' thing? Seems like either fan of or beginner.

>>53993810
Whoa, that was quick. Thanks, everyone!
>>
>>53993764
Beginner or fan are both good, the idea was basically just like how charizard and snorlax and others show up to toss you goodies and cheer you on so both could work.

And there simply must be a big fish tank item of some kind.

Being a gyarados could be cool, kinda a downgrade to the awesome that is magikarp. Cant even jump.

I mean the point is jumping and gyarados is disqualifies, they are forcibly retired from the league.

Also the magikarp song is literally made for the game magikarp jump so its great for ideas. It plays when you click to watch the tv in the game

https://youtu.be/H3x3-22Gi3g

Also the girl frrom the ring shows up if you break the tv.

Alrighty I need to sleep, good luck!

Greek Myth jump by Herculanon.
Civilization jump has something similar.
>>
>>53993616
>>53993700
Okay, I'm going to bring back a fair number of the ones I removed, but I still think I'm going to leave a couple old ones out since I started to see issues with them.

The whole "you are a dream who can't sleep" thing for Between Sleep and Awake, for instance, confused even me, and Grounded was sort of moot since I already had a couple flight-hindering drawbacks like Pixie Dust Allergy and Lagoon Locked. Then there was Missing Out, which I was starting to think people would abuse to stay out of trouble (making it kind of useless for its function as a drawback).

On another note, I hadn't heard of the Magikarp game, but hearing people talk about it, I'm really excited about what the jump will look like.

Thanks, anons! Appreciate it!

If you don't think there's enough content for a general jump, don't stretch yourself.

There's nothing wrong with making Magikarp Jump a gauntlet, given how sparse the content is.

Could you use a Gummi Ship to fly to Prismo's Time Room, or would you have to fly it through the Enchiridion portal?
>>
>>53994304
You can be a Transformer from the transformers jump. That's almost the same.
Except your truck altform also comes with a robot altform.
>>
>>53994358
I think you'd need a way to hop between adjacent dimensions. There are a couple of those. I know there's the Portal nano power from Generator Rex, for sure.

The good news is, since Prismo's dimension is essentially the branching hallway the leads off to all Adventure Time's concurrent dimensions, it's probably easier to get to than any specific other dimension.
At least, I think that's how it would work.

Depends on what you qualify as a religion. You can get a specific sect of mages from Traveler's Gate, and ones caught in your Territory when you leave stick around, like a Warehouse for slaves people you've taught the ways of Traveling

>>
>>53994567
Pretty sure Shalltear could shoot lasers, so I wouldn't be surprised?
>>
>>53994563
More just like I want the tenets of the religion to have been introduced and established in every jump I visit. You know how you can buy companies or organizations in some jumps that don't quite follow you, but a new branch appears in each jump? Basically that.
>>
>>53994585
Traveler's Gate it is then, since if you make your own Territory, you can choose a theme for it, and Travelers of it have to follow that theme or they probably die horribly. So you could have an entire sect of new travelers of your territory that are honest and respectful to everyone around them, or some shit.

>>53994627
Well, you just convince Simon to let you into Valinhall, and then you steal all their shit and bring it to your new territory, and let that shit get absorbed, boom, you now have nullified Valinhall.
>>
>>53994653
And here's the supplement
>>
>>53994619
Traveler's Gate has an option that gives you a pocket dimension that follows you around. You're supposed to maintain/grow it by having people enter it and become Travelers- people who can wield magic powers themed after said dimension. One of the ways you can choose for people to become Travelers is having a Key, which can range from a specific object to knowing something in particular or having certain traits.
>>
>>53994653
>>53994661
Eeehhh, I'm not sure that's really what I want?
>>
>>53994653
Why would you do that though? If you just have a blank territory that only exists to throw Valinhall relics into, that's boring.
>>
Traveler's Gate is cool and all but

ya'll just kinda missed the entire point of his post.

>>53994543
Aside from perks like those mentioned above to have your legend and equivalent shit already circulating in a world? You might be better off having one of the populations that follow you between jumps - like Umigawa from Warriors Orochi.
>>
>>53994634
Age of Ice DLC has the Crown of Akharien which gives wisdom and the memories of the first king who wore it who managed to outwit the gods.
>>
>>53994634
Exalted: Infernals. The Crown of Thunders.
>>
>>53994690
Oh, yeah, I just wanted to clarify what they were talking about. Sorry for not being able to help with your actual question.

At least it might make for a nice trick, if you find yourself going to a universe where a faith can't keep up if it doesn't give actual divine powers.
>>
>>53994695
Yeah, followers are one option. I would prefer having an established religion already instead of a bunch of interdimensional Jehovah's Witnesses knocking on people's doors, trying to convert them, though.

The perks about having your legend follow you seem more like they'd cause the equivalent of Greek Myth type stuff. Sure, some people might still worship the god king who in ancient stories led half the world. But most people just think those people are new-age hippie pagans or whatever.

>>53994723
Ah, well yeah. Thanks.
>>
>>53994745
>The perks about having your legend follow you seem more like they'd cause the equivalent of Greek Myth type stuff. Sure, some people might still worship the god king who in ancient stories led half the world. But most people just think those people are new-age hippie pagans or whatever.

Hey, it's a start though. All you need then is something like the Kami capstone from MtG: Kamigawa to make those prayers spark something and you'd start getting a lot of people interested.
>>
>>53994768
Could add on to what this anon said with they myth perk from Generic Creepypasta, a few other perks their might help too, such as the ritualist perk to make the sort of people you'd like to know your rituals know them.
>>
>>53994567
Since it's based on D&D about 99%,
Also Shalltear uses spears of divine energy in the fight against Momonga.

>>53994745
Myth from Generic Creepypasta could work - it explicitly has people find out about you if you're doing the benefactor thing and they need/want your help.
The jump also has Ritualist and Avatar, so you can get to answering prayers right away.
Also has Meme, making people talk about you. Could be useful to spread your religion.

DC Occult has a pocket dimension that follows you from jump to jump and you can have millions of people living there.
You can explicitly choose to have it always be the same dimension/people too.
>>
>>53994543
Too bad Red abandoned that Generic Cult Builder jump or whatever it was called. That looked awesome.
>>
>>53994745
More stuff for being a god:
Exalted Infernals has perks to built cults easily (Cultist origin).
Innistrad: the Church/Angel line lets you hear and answer prayers
Civilization has a bunch, like creating rituals to grant good luck or create helpful spirits, also to make followers more loyal and to always count as present around them for the purpose of auras.
Master of Magic: one of the rewards for winning lets you get mana from worship. Also lots of really large scale spells that can be useful for doing the deity thing.
Exalted Sidereals: Chosen of Serenity capstone makes followers more faithful and lets them give you essence. Also the Quintessence Fountain that turns prayers to you into Ambrosia.
Hyperdimension Neptunia: CPU origin has Blessed are the Faithful and Idol of Innovation.
Spice & Wolf and Actraiser are also worth a look.
>>
>>53994818
>Myth from Generic Creepypasta
Isn't that just an information-spreading perk? I don't think it can establish thing in the world's history.
>>
>>53994918
It doesn't retcon a religion dedicated to you into being, but it spreads information on what you are/do and how to contact you if applicable and makes people you want find it.

So it won't grant you an established following, but it will make people start praying to you without you having to do anything.
Especially if you combo it with Ritualist and Meme, making people get tangible results and being compelled to talk about you.
Meme especially has this:
>These people are greatly influenced by your actions, and will hold your opinions in high regard; enough that they’ll seriously consider what you say or believe in, even when it contradicts their own beliefs.
So it should be pretty good at getting you new believers.
>>
>>53994965
While this branches off from the original point, combining this with Dream Demon from Gravity Falls gives you a pretty handy way to keep an eye on things as well, given that it allows you to see through any image made in your...image. Like, art, or statues, stuff like that. With Meme and Myth, plus Ritualist, suddenly images of you would be spreading all over the world. Even people opposed to you would have images of you, in order to study you. That gives you a lot of different ways to spy on people with relatively little effort on your own part.
>>
>>53995034

Team Rocket beats him up later, the heroes ruin Team Rocket's plan, then Arceus breaks loose and Gold has to stop him. Still, taken out by mortal hands.
>>
>>53995515
Manga Arceus sounds like the inverse of Manga Everything Else. Like, you get Pokemon defying their predefined power levels and Dragonite nuking cities and stuff and Manga Arceus gets beat up twice? What does he even do in the Manga?
>>
>>53995533
Team Rocket makes him clone his creation trio then he gets butthurt that Team Rocket beat him in a fight and decides he's going to genocide humanity.
>>
>>53995541
But how do they beat him if he can just make new gods and destroy all life on the planet? That's the part where this gets confusing.
>>
>>53995564
They had to put him on a magic relic for him to be able to make new pokemon.

Also, him deciding he wants to genocide humanity doesn't mean he can instantly destroy all life. He'd have to do it manually.
>>
>>53995572
Now I'm just more confused. Why would god need a manmade object to do god things?
>>
>>53995590
Arceus is almost never as much of a god or as powerful in his actual depictions as he is in the spurious pokedex lore.
>>
>>53995533
The rest of the Creation trio are fucking scary. Specially Giratina when he goes full evil eldritch god from another dimension in his first appearance.
>>
>>53995590
I think Arceus need tons of Unowns to actually do serious things. The machine basically summoned them.
>>
>>53995621
...so Unowns are his angels?
>>
>>53993028

>>
>>53995621
Maybe the "thousand arms" thing is meant to allude to Unknown, and Arceus isn't so much the direct creation god as it is amazing at controlling Unknown who are the conduit for him creating stuff in Pokemon Mythology. That would actually be kinda cool.
>>
>>53995688
More like the Unowns are the language that the code of reality is written with and he uses them to create whatever he wants. Assemble enough Unowns in a certain patter and you can do anything. If you are Arceus.

Not sure that would work. I think it only applies to companions, maybe to followers too but probably not to clones and self-duplicates.

Here's the description:
"Pentakai Bench - 500
Just as every king has his followers, all drawn to him by numerous reasons. You have your
companions. Whenever one of your followers are near you, both of you get a small boost of
power, around a tenth of your or their base power. This increases with the amount of followers
you have around you each getting the boost as well."

Use the power of your 3rd Circle souls from Infernals.

That should be able to make DevilTiger-Blooded, just as the Dragon-Blooded but with your elements.

Much more controllable than Celestial Exaltations, and much more numerous.

...Besides, if you're actually powerful enough to make Exaltations (because the Solar jump only gives you the first step in a long, long process that would require you to match or exceed Autobot in his area of expertise), you can probably charge them yourself.

It's just that they might explode then, since that's the reason Gaia didn't directly empower any Exaltations.
>>
>>53995803
Not quite, since Eru could've made the world himself.

He used the music of the Ainur for middle-earth, sure. But that was mostly because he wanted to see what they'd make with the themes he got them, not because they were necessary to create a world.

>if you're actually powerful enough to make Exaltations (because the Solar jump only gives you the first step in a long, long process that would require you to match or exceed Autobot in his area of expertise)

But a new Elemental Pole could be created by 25 Reality Engines, an installation build around those, and an extremely powerful power source. Gethamane has such an installation set up, but there's a somewhat-dormant horrific Hekathokhire there that devoured more than 10,000 experienced Dragon-Blooded and countless mortal last time it depopulated the city above.

Power sources that would be appropriate are... A proto-shinmaic vortex (unstable proto-universe) or a 3rd Circle Demon/Deva (and that only to create an Elemental Pole corresponding to it's progenitor. Like an Elemental Pole of Darkness for Ebby or an Elemental Pole of Adorjan).

Those would be consumed in the process though.

I've got a pretty neat nation in my own pocket dimension/inner world.

It's got a weird mix of all kinds of beings, from normal humans to wizards, elves, dwarves, vampires, draconians, pixies, asari, sburb trolls, dragon-blooded, beastmen, kemomimi, draenei/eredar, murlocs, golems, robots, androids, twi'leks, dragons, slimepeople, demons, gods, and various races of deva... And of course some strange hybrids of most of those, as well as genetic experiments I created.

In any case, aside from the somewhat ridiculous variety of different citizens, it's mostly a post-scarcity society where people don't /need/ to work to survive. But there's also a lot of ongoing projects, mostly in the arts and sciences (including magic), though martial pursuits are also allowed. The influences of deva with somewhat odd desires means there's also weirder stuff, which might not seem to have much point to outside observers. And the dragons still want to hoard shinies, so there's still a kind of economy, though it's mostly optional.

Mostly it's composed of floating isles with large cities build on them and large floating city-ships, as well as isles mostly composed of large water basins, surrounded by beaches for the aquatic residents (and vacationeers). People who want more privacy can live on smaller private isles or private ships, if they prefer.

Laws are lax, when they come up at all. Mostly not to harm/kill others in general, though odd local things are occasionally set by a deva lord (or other official promoted highly enough) notionally in charge of a city-isle. Mostly harmless, since such proposals have to be approved by me and my deva. The Kaleidoscopic Lizard banned the color grey, and the Shining One wanted to disallow roofs in his city, but eventually settled for at least one skylight somewhere in each house.

I imagine life there is generally pretty relaxed.
>>
>>53997145
I have 3 of them, all separate.
The first is the Pocket Dimension from Generic Creepypasta.
That one is mostly empty. I rearrange it as the mood strikes me and use it as a training ground or vacation spot, which the 30:1 time dilation is useful for.
A little stressed out? Take a beach vacation for 2 weeks while only missing half a day in real time. Or if you're not in the mood for a beach make it a mountain retreat, or a hidden jungle temple or whatever strikes your fancy.

The second is the Dimension Lord dimension from DC Occult.
It's populated by various fantasy races just because and basically an utopia for them.
Thanks to the innate control i have and various perks/items like the Moonstone (Lone Wolf) and Blessed Are the Faithful (Hyperdimension Neptunia) the only thing the inhabitants have to do is daily prayers to me, since i use it as basically a giant mana/essence/worship generator. Pretty easy setup since it can come with several million inhabitants and explicitly is the same in every jump if you want it to be.

The third is the Inner World from Exalted Infernals.
That one is pretty much entirely used to carry around my demons/souls from Descending Order when i'm not using them in the real world, aside from the passive benefits.
I also use it to "dodge", since you can pop in and out with a thought. Or just to get some sleep when i'm in hostile territory.
>>
>>53997145
Mine has multiple layers and lots of stuff from other jumps in it. The people in it are cabbits. The animals are carbuncle types, which just means they all have lots of magic and crystal horns of some type.

And there are so many trees thanks to seeds of potential.
>>
>>53997225
You'd need wyld-shaping to create them at all. Normal crafting won't be able to. But yes, you probably could.

Just be very, very careful with containment, because if they destabilize, you can kiss everything within several miles goodbye as it's unmade.

Anyway, Reality Engines do what it sounds like they'd do. They enforce reality in an area around them, from a small building to several dozen square miles. Damaged ones can create Wyld pockets and other hazards instead.

I think that sorcs inDragons Crown get that ability, don't they?

What does Hyperkinesis from PMD do? How can it be used?
>>
>>53997348
it's a very handy perk If you're collecting alternate forms,or if you wish to learn/practice martial arts. it ensures your muscle control is absolute no matter what body you have. basically if you can envision your body moving in a way your joints can bend you can move your body in that way to that degree.
>>
>>53996774
Oh hell yes! I am so excited to read this! Thanks for making it!
>>
>>53997325
The main issue is that there's something like twenty heroes in total, each with three abilities and an ultimate. Describing every ability would probably take up as much space as the entire jump so far.
>>
>>53997370
What about the zero reaction times? Am I basically a dark Eldar with the unity between thought and action?
>>
>>53997395
reaction time is based on the physical limits of your muscles and your ability to think to react, so there is still a reaction time but there is a great unity of thought and actions Yes.
>>
>>53997348
Okay, so you know how to play a game you have to press the buttons or move the sticks on the controller or whatever? You know how in some online games you have lag that causes what you're seeing or doing to lag behind what's actually happening? Humans kinda have that stuff too, minuscule levels of lag as well as us needing to know just the right inputs to move in the way we want. Hyperkinesis erases that. If your body can do it and your mind can think it, you can do it. Do you understand how to do a cartwheel? You can do the cartwheel. Your body moves as fast as you can think about moving it.

Reflexes and agility are basically tied up to your mental abilities and the limitations of your body after picking it up.
>>
>>53997333
You'd also need superhuman prowess in Lore, but Rick probably takes care of that after some time spend studying... basically everything in Exalted.

Assuming that gives you the maximum (normally Essence 10-requiring traits) for shaping it, it'd still take you something like 110 hours of constant effort on average though.

Potentially much longer if you're not in Pure Chaos while doing this.
>>
>>53997448
Can I get a better benchmark to define superhuman? I've got a first age Crafting spec Solar's memories,I'm getting the boosted version of mind of the sun,all lot of knowledge from the scan's My many times imported mother box did, sidereal insider info on "fate" and I have stolen a lot of books.... And Are those hours man-hours? because that's like two days of work Given that I have multiple bodies.
>>
>>53997502
Lore 7. You'd need to get to elder essence (7+) to even get there. Humans can't reach this naturally.

The Solar memories only gives you a bonus on appropriate rolls in the Exalted sense, not actually their Lore rating, so that doesn't get you there (though they might be able to help teach you). Mind of the Sun wouldn't help at all. The scans would probably make decent study material. The sidereal insider info wouldn't help at all, since it's only concerned with Fate. And the books are liable to be useless to even get to human max of 5.

Those hours are the amount of time you need to actually need to spend Shaping. Not counting any time you need to rest or respire extra essence to be able to fuel the charm. If you take a break on it while it's unfinished, it starts to melt away again too though that takes a few days.
>>
>>53997579
>elder essence (7+) Humans can't reach this naturally

how does one reach it then and what prevents humans from reaching it? because elemental Pole of unobtainium sounds like something that I should make exist
>>
>>53997579
>Mind of the Sun wouldn't help at all.
Seriously, the non-boosted version is worse than most of the 400cp crafting perks in the other Exalted jumps.

It gives you knowledge of Old Realm language and basic knowledge to "tinker". You can't even forge a daiklave with it.
>>
>>53997617
By being Essence 7. And presumably mortals and weaker Exalts can't because it requires them to literally know more than any human could ever know.

As an Exalt, you can get there, it's just hard and requires higher essence.
>>

>>53996774
So I'm going along, having read and loved the perks, been intersted in the hero power stuff (though I agree some small descriptions somewhere might be good) and after going past some cool buildings I find the Reactor.

I... It's perfect. I've been half-assing my way to something like this with portals and space bending magic, but this just solves an issue I've been annoyed by for ages. Thanks for that.

On a more serious note, this is a really nice jump. I loved the game and you've managed to bring so many of the cool things from it into one jump. Good stuff!

Just a question, does the Palace come with the Reactor, Foundry and Treasury completely for free, or do you just get them in the palace if you buy them as well?

How many guys do you get in each army? You specify some numbers but leave others vague.

Can the Mysteries Of Mezekesh let you make glass and glass constructs out of magic, or do you have to convert living beings?

Great jump, love it!

Mortals can never be above E3
(well they can but they either die or turn into something that isn't a mortal),

young (>100 years) exalts cannot get above E5

At 100 years an exalt can reach E6 if he works it, it can take much longer

It takes increasing degrees of age for an exalt to go to higher essence after this point, that is why there are essentially no dragonbloods above E7. They die before they are old enough to reach E8.
>>
>>53997697
I don't remember the exact numbers but minimum age for essence 6 was about 100 years iirc.
1000+ for essence 10 i think, but don't quote me on that.

Mysteries of Mezekesh lets you do other stuff with glass as well, like make glass golems and cannons, but most of the glass units are transformed beings of some sort.

Ok so, you know how the body works with movement? You think "Hey leg, move forward" so that thought is transverse down the spine, then to the legs, which then moves. Better example would be, you ever play the game, palms up palms down? Where two people place their palms on top one another. Then you have to slap the top of the other's hand. It doesn't matter how quick you are, there's a delay in thought & delay in action.

Hyperkinesis takes that input lag away. So you think you want to walk you start walking immediately. The game? You'll always avoid getting slap by opponent.

>>53997395
Dark Eldar have quicker reaction times, but they're still obey the laws of biology. Which is their brain thinks something, then it travels down their nerves. You're faster than that, because unlike them you don't have lag.

Just the ones in the description, they're meant to be used (and killed) and these ones are all robots or animals. I didn't want to end up with an infinite supply of human sacrifices kind of deal (like you'd get with most Vinci units since they're usually piloted).

As for the structures, they're more like stationary Master Units, and those aren't discounted for backgrounds either. Basically, there's no discounts on the really high-end stuff that you can't ever get during the campaign.

My city is the result of fusing all of my pocket dimensions, as well as fusing the ones in my companions when we linked our souls.

The result is a nigh-endless city (a city that has its own forests, seas and mountain ranges, among other things) that expands as long as the eye can see, surrounded by an also seemingly endless sea that prevents anyone from leaving without using the standardized methods or forcibly attacking the city from its dimensional borders.

Its design is heavily inspired in the landscapes of the Throne from Kill Six Billion Demons. That's it, it can range from the eldritch architecture of most of the living buildings to magitech Hindu/Chinese constructions. The shape of the city is not uniform and it usually depends on the local prince (Third Circle) current mood, with a few exceptions.

The city is ruled by the different Third Circle souls who hold absolute rule over their portions of the city and their inhabitants. The Second Circles hold similar authority in a smaller scale, and their domains are limited to a portion of that of their progenitors.

The Second Circles rule over the different citizens of the realm, demons that take human shapes, with the only distinction from regular humans being their innate beauty and their skin having different bright colors and marks resembling tattoos. For them, life is without worries, as they are free to mostly indulge into their hedonistic passions if they’re not helping to betterment of the city. The only thing that the authorities require from them is daily prayer to the Jumper and the eventual taxation of essence and/or mana.

The First Circle races are mostly treated well, but their only purpose is to exist as servitors to their progenitors and their subjects. They range from entertainers and personal assistants to very specialized laborers and soldiers.
Then last group stands in an undetermined position the social structure. The souls collected by the Jumper during his numerous travels might serve a large variety of purposes. The weakest but still useful souls will be relocated as servants with a similar status of that of the First Circles. The weakest and useless souls will be used as fuel for different districts of the city, augmenting the power of their respective lords, and might be used as currency to purchase the rare things that would be hard to obtain in the city or to trade among the different lords. The most powerful souls would be keep safe for the use of the Jumper directly, in order to gain their strengths and abilities.
These souls can be collected by the denizens themselves on their world raids at the end of each jump (or earlier, depending on the scale of the jump), who will either use weapons embedded with the Jumper’s essence, or just bring captives directly to the Inner World to be feed to the engines directly, as they are part of the Jumper himself.

Most Exalted jumpmakers just say fan-wank it. Though I think most say they tend to keep them seperately – though they then turn around and say that their Essence pools merge, so I don't know how that's supposed to work.

>>
>>53998872
Pretty sure fluff-wise a higher essence represents a deeper understanding of the universe or something like that, so i'd say that you only have one essence pool and it doesn't stack, it merges.
And that clones with different Exaltations don't accelerate essence growth, obviously.

But that's just me fanwanking with what i know about the fluff, so take it as you will.

You wouldn't lose them, but you wouldn't learn more until you A. found an alternative, B. restored your worship somehow. You could either use followers of some kind or just build from the ground up each jump. Same applies to other divine-based abilities.

I call it The Woodsea.

Nine souls with nine Inner Worlds, carved into the same shape and worked with my Third-Circle Demons, Kami, and Protectors (summoned via the related perk-spell from Innistrad). Each Soul has it's own designation and structures, with the First Soul holding the most important - The Grand Library, the Fragmented Flame (a sub-flame to the Pyre Star), and the Pandora's Box (Justice League Dark).

The Woodsea is just that - made up of massive, glimmering trees and deep rivers that run between those trees. Walkways, trams, and blue flashing teleporter arrays connect the trees together by the giant cities built on the bark and deep within the trunks. The construction of new cities is always managed carefully by Bal and Toh, the first and second of my Third-Circles.

... I'd have more to post but I'm honestly still working on this, especially with the boundaries shared betwixt Wonderland and Neverland.

In the meantime, have the Third-Circle Demons: https://pastebin.com/MeSiwyQW
>>
>>53999109
Okay, thanks. So could you use that perk to draw worship from your own First Circle demons from Infernals?
>>
>>53999254
Perk fiat says yes, though I think they'd need some measure of sentience for the worship to 'count'. I think First Circles count in this case? The perk basically takes the Cult background from the game and expands it rewards and possibilities a bit. It's not required for humans to be the ones worshiping you, for instance.
>>
>>53999334
What kind of spirit charms do you learn and do you get to choose which ones? Do you have to study them like normal charms, or do you get them automatically after being worshiped long enough?
>>
>>53999558
Most of them, except for the unique bullshit the Incarnae or such get. You get to choose which ones, otherwise, and you study them as though they'd be Caste/Favored charms if you got the worship. Think of it as an enabler plus a shortcut.

"You look worse." The Dungeonmaster commented, upon looking at my red and pale blonde hair. I had requested a mixing between my Homunculi appearance and Arturia's appearance. An appearance of my own, in a way. She sighed and poked me, and I changed my appearance. "Your hair and eyes clash overall with your clothing color."

I blinked, and was about to request she change me back, when Nero interjected.

"Aria doesn't have to appeal to you if she doesn't want to! She's lovely no matter what! After all, we share faces!" Nero said, crossing her arms and huffing. "And her red eyes are the color of passion! Nothing is more beautiful in this world than passion!"

So my appearance stayed the way I requested it be.

"Right...so you want a glorified toilet you can sleep in." Said the Dungeon Master, looking over the sheet I handed her. She tapped it, and it poofed away. "But it's a smart idea regardless. Well done."

"We can probably just build things in there." Kiritsugu said, in that soft, quiet voice of his. "Everything in there except the plumbing could be built by ourselves, as long as we have the resources."

"I do need a workshop, though..." I muttered. "Alchemy, biology, and chemistry have always been fascinating concepts to me. I always liked fiddling with chemicals in my workshop."

"Umu! Why do we need to build? My Reality Marble can build stuff wherever!" Nero said.

"Yours is temporary, though." Kiritsugu reminded her.

That's because Gyaradoses aren't nearly as big as you think they are. What everyone forgets is that canon Gyaradoses are only 6.5 meters long and weigh only 235 kilograms. That's about the size of an anaconda. Big, sure, but not the giant sea serpents that they're usually depicted as. The problem lies in the Pokemon anime, which consistently shows enormous specimens.
>>
>>54002585
The problem lies mainly in the pokemon games having no sense of scale. Many pokemon are tinier than they should be, or WAY too skinny for their size.

I can buy gyarados only being 20 feet or so, but they should be way thicker and heavier than a anaconda.
>>
>>54002198
I hate fish.
>>
>>54002585
Another example of Pokemon oversized by the Anime is Charizard.

Ash, being 10 years old, is probably 4'something. Charizard, according to the Pokedex, is 5'7", which is shorter than me.

Ash's Charizard is big enough for him to ride comfortably, and as we see in Charicific Valley, is considered something of a manlet compared to the ones it meets there.
>>
>>54002585
I personally ignore Pokédex size ratings. The actual visual appearance of Pokemon in the games contradicts them and the size they appear as in the anime is much more reasonable.
>>
>>54002640
>>54002585
>235 kilograms. That's about the size of an anaconda
Not at that weight. That's like a horror movie size snake. Their average weight breaks the record for largest anaconda by a pretty damn large margin.
The length is about right for the record snake though.

>>54002585
The numbers in the pokedex are kinda screwy though.
Taking the Gyarados example, nothing 6.5m long with that kind of build should be that light unless it's hollow.
Or Rapidash. That thing is presumably horse-sized, yet Pokedex says it weighs 95kg?

I did for a side chain I did that landed me in the Orre region.

>>
>>54003155
It's not really that surprising.
It's always the first jump after all, and money and flashy gear doesn't help you survive in a world full of superpowered monsters as superpowers of your own.

Not to mention that half the shit you get free/discounted you don't even need.
You can fly or ride a lot of pokemon after all, so the bicycle and helicopter aren't really worth it except right at the start.
Laptop and Medkit are okay, but not as good as psychic powers or aura, and you can pick them up anyway if you really want them.
And unless you want all of it Moneybags just isn't worth it. It costs more than the other origins and doesn't even get a freebie perk.
I'd rather have all the 100cp perks, one of the capstones and some minor extras on my first jump to help me survive.

>>54003405

Pretty sure money doesn't regenerate, even if you have a currency exchange.

Not to mention that a helicopter generally takes a license to fly in worlds that are less lax than pokemon, and there's not even anything special about it.
You could probably just buy one for money in fact, if for some reason you neglected to get a teleporting or flying pokemon.

I'd still argue that psychic powers would aid more in later jumps, but you do you.
>>
>>54003654
Well, if it makes you feel better, it was a side chain, and it only lasted about ten jumps.
>>
Does anyone know any decent methods for shooing away the more tragic side effects of the skull heart from the Skullgirls jump?

I know it's lame to try and defeat the whole point of perks where the tragic drawbacks are the only thing keeping it balanced. But I'm trying out a fully evil chain for the first time, so on one hand it would be out of character not to grab op shit like that, but then again, there's not much point in hedonism if you have to sacrifice your ability to feel happiness.

KLK has a natural amount of toonforce present in its reality. It's what allows the characters to occasionally be paper cutouts of themselves, or for Gamagoori to be as big as he needs to be, or whatever the fuck Mako is doing.
Nui just happens to be unnaturally in tune with this power. She's like the evil counterpart to Mako.

Nui is Ragyo's Mako.
>>
>>54003831
Continuing on with this point, Gamagori's size is "Bigger Than You". Kill La Kill is a weird show.
>>
>>54003785
...except most worlds accept none of that as currency.
I mean, sure, fantasy worlds use gold coins, but they're still minted coins probably specific to that world.
You can sell gold, gems and the like for raw material value, but not only is it a hassle, you're also likely to draw unwanted attention when you sling around treasure like it's going out of style.
Not to mention that you also have to find a buyer who can cash you out in any quantity.

That's what the Monopoly gauntlet is for.
It costs you a few hours after your first jump at most, and if you pick the right perks/drawbacks you practically can't lose.
>>
>>54003904
> That's what the Monopoly gauntlet is for.
You can also get similar powers from Animal Crossing or Windwaker.
Windwaker's even comes in wallet form that is also capable of storing infinite money.
>>
>>54003904
It seems like the author wanted it to be a sanity test, but '/tg/ hates Monopoly' is just a meme.
>>
>>54003936
Don't forget the Munny Pouch in Kingdom Hearts.
>>
>>54003940
Dude.

Many people hate Monopoly.
It has earned its reputation for a reason.
>>
>>54003936
Yeah, there's a bunch. Kingdom Hearts has one too, and the inventory from The Gamer always comes in local currency.
But those are full jumps, some quite dangerous, always a 10 year commitment, and also have other stuff you'll likely want more.

Monopoly has the benefit that you can do it right after your first jump and it costs you effectively nothing. One game of Monopoly, and not only do you never have to worry about currency exchange again, you'll also get a pretty decent source of income and some decently useful business perks for your trouble.
Not bad for a few hours.

>>54003965
So it's not something you play for fun.
Jumpers go spend a decade in total crapsack worlds for less rewards.
You can put up with a single game of Monopoly.
>>
>>54003965
I don't pay much attention to the gauntlets folder. Why exactly is the Monopoly jump so hated?

>>54003936
>>54003954
I may be completely wrong, but I'm pretty sure the inventory from The Gamer jump translates currency, that's the impression I got at least.
>>
>>54004017
You also get a dog.
>>
>>54004057
Oh no, not the jump itself. The actual board game.
>>
>>54004057

Nononono. Not the Gauntlet. The board game.
>>
>>54003155
I did.

>Why exactly is the Monopoly jump so hated?

It was made by Wakfu Anon.

So it's in need of replacing.

>>
>>54003940
>>54003965

The trick is to not extend the game more than it has to. Some people add in house rules like "if you land on free parking, you get all the money that's been paid in fines", and you shouldn't do that, because that just makes it harder for players to go bankrupt, which makes it harder for people to actually win.

Your job is not just to keep your head above water, it is specifically to destroy other players. That is the only way you or anyone else will win. Anything that makes that more difficult will only cause the game to go on longer.

>>54004057
> Why exactly is the Monopoly jump so hated?
Because it's Monopoly. It doesn't need other reasons.

As far as a gauntlet goes, it's entirely serviceable and does a good job of conveying the game.
But that game is still Monopoly.

Monopoly was actually designed to become an absolute slog in the endgame because the creator wanted to convey how much unchecked capitalism and competing monopolies suck. It is not supposed to be a fun game where everyone pretends to be millionaires. The game works exactly as it is designed.
>>
>>54004197
IS there a fun game where everyone pretends to be millionaires?
>>
>>53996774
Does Masterful make the enemies overpowered compared to you the Jumper, or just give them bigger units and more epics until their armies are better than yours?
>>
>>54004248
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is pretty alright, but you're only pretending to be a millionaire if you win.
>>
>>54004248
Casino games can be pretty fun IF you're good at them. If you're not, then regardless of whether you're playing pretend casinos in a videogame or a real life casino somewhere else, they're just another slog.
>>
Does anyone know any perks that lets you subdue, absorb, or otherwise enslave spiritual beings?

GHQ (German Hollow Quest) has a thing for that in the Hollow Supplement.

You drop enough gold on people one of two things is gonna happen.

1. They give you what you want

2. They get crushed by the gold and you take what you want.

Its a win win.

I would have kept what you had, just not worried about thinking more up.

Ghost or Psychic, /jc/?

Pic unrelated.
>>
Fluff-wise, how does the Great Curse tend to manifest for Solars?

Trying to write something out.
>>
>>54005034
Ghost. Fuck psychics, they're overrated.
>>
>>54005042
Periodic bouts of insanity, in response to stress. Mostly like the flaws of mythic heroes.

Achilles in his tent, Herakles going insane and accidently murdering his family...
>>
>>54005042
Depends how deep they are into it. A Solar just starting out might have a temper tantrum or go on the wildest bender ever before waking up in a different city covered in dead hookers. An Elder Solar does stuff like turning his servants screams into musical instruments and hooking them up to torture machines while extending their lives so he can put on performances or kill anyone who disagrees with them in any way.

Except for some reason Part 1 has an Exalted Behemoth.
>>

Well, you have to kill a dragon that can only be killed by that god-sword, which in-game causes the wielding unit to die. Then you have to fight all the other civs, then I think you have to prevent Satan from getting summoned?

Jump # 156 KotOR
Starting Location: Coruscant
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Origin: Jedi (50)
Race: Human (0)
Specialization: Intelligence
Perks:
*Enhanced Memory (0)
*Chosen one (200)
*battle meditation (300, Discount)
*Deactivate Driod (400)
Equipment
*Advanced Com link (0)
*Breath Mask (50)

So this was a fun 10 years… I was just getting used to being way in the past of star wars when the republic sort of fell. It turns out some Sith lord they had wiped the memory of and sent to destroy some super weapon of their former apprentice had managed to regain enough memory to fall, defeat his old apprentice, take over the star forge and had a limitless fleet they were sending out to wipe out the remaining Jedi.

I still happened to be on Coruscant which was the capital of both the Jedi and republic so I barely escaped with my life. It turns out with battle meditation and bard song Cabbit Ships are superior to anything Star wars can offer… Ironically.

We were forced to run and hide for a while as we gathered up strength, I trained my companions in the force with what little knowledge I had as well as picking up a motley crew of friends to help me.

(to be continued)
>>
>>54005230
>that can only be killed by that god-sword, which in-game causes the wielding unit to die.

Jump doesn't say that.

And the third installment is fighting a fallen fire goddess' armies while she's still in Hell.
>>
>>54005295
Eventually we managed to storm the Star forge itself. After a horrific battle we made it there, fought our way through and I managed to use Technopathy to shut the star forge off.

I battle Reven one on one. He was tough as hell surprisingly. I only defeated him because of out of context power BS and even acknowledged to him had I not disabled the star forge first I might have lost.

He was dying and was regretting his actions and those he had lost on his turn to the dark side. I offered to save him but he refused saying this was the only way it could end.

After that as the hero that saved the universe I went about trying to build an empire without the force. While I didn’t repress the knowledge and didn’t deny I was a user I made sure people know that the endless battle of light side vs darkside would only lead to more wars and death. There were still Jedi and probably sith in the empire but they were not cozy with the government.
>>
>>54005305
>jump doesn't say that

It doesn't? That makes things easier, then.
>>
>>54005287
First step is to tell every about it.

It's supposedly possible to remove it in-setting (though really hard), just almost no one figured it out. And those that did, didn't tell anyone.

If I used the scenario reward from Magical Pokemon Journey to evolve someone from RWBY, would their Semblance evolve with them?
>>
>>54005379
Probably, yeah?
>>
>>54005346
No they weren't, they were just able to adapt it to their own purposes. It's the Neverborn who were able to take it out for the Abyssals, which makes sense given that the Neverborn are the ones who made the Great Curse in the first place.
>>
>>54005338

The sooner you tell them, the less awkward it will be. They'll doubt you at first, but then the evidence will pile up and they'll realize you were telling the truth all along. If you need perk backup to help you, there's one for that in Civilization.

> While the Celestial Exalted still labor under the Great Curse, the Green Sun Princes are free of that weakness. Nevertheless, their damned nature subjects them to a form of Limit every bit as debilitating as that of their Solar kin.
I thought it said in the Infernals book that they got the Great Curse stripped out and replaced by the Still Pretty Okay Curse.

You can either go full honest or disguise it as something else.

If you go full honest, it might make the news easier/more believable if you tell them you're a dimensional traveller, and in your world, their lives just HAPPEN to be stories and fables and you're working off that knowledge, maybe because your world is a dumping ground for stories from other worlds and timelines or however you want to spin it. Also helps if things don't go as planned, because then obviously you're just working with incomplete or incorrect information.
If you're disguising, then the obvious picks are to go with prophecy, psychic powers, or just really stupid good ability to guess how things will play out.
