Our party caught a major financer and underling of the big bad and, after a failed bout of diplomacy, went to town on the poor man. We planted evidence on his men, got him into trouble with the city's police, and systematically destroyed his reputation as a banker, as a noble, and as a human being. We stole all of his assets (including wealth he's holding for other nobles as a banker) and used this to place embezzlement charges against him. We fabricated proof he turned on his own benefactors and became our informant, ensuring that the BBEG niw wants him dead as well. We used this as leverage to "protect" him from one of the bbeg's "assassins", obtained his gratitude, and used this as leverage to bamboozle all the informarion he knows about the bbeg and hia power structure.

Then, we unceremoniously executed him and disposes of his body so that no one could speak with dead him.

I'm personally concerned about the effect his handholding may have on the character selection too. Not even getting over any bias that might develop from putting too much effort into someone's character, I'm worried over the impact his reviews will have on character quality.

He might be able to walk an app from shit tier to god tier by working with the player, at which point it'd be logical to pick the character, but he might end up passing up someone who understood the tone and had much stronger writing on their first draft that just didn't get as much review. I do think his biggest responsibility is to have the best campaign for himself, but I'd be concerned that players he had to commit more effort working with would actually turn out to be the weaker players.

So new Thrall is a boost in power, but I feel they missed the point on these chain lightning talents.

You have to hit 20 heroes with the chain lightning talents to actually get it to prioritize heroes, and it's a pain to climb.

The other quest one is nice, but only stacks up to 20 damage, which is piddly.

Windfury talents are great though, so we'll probably not really see a change in how Thrall plays. The quality of life stuff baked in to his wolf skill is pretty great though

One thing Ive noticed due to recieving a couple Protag reviews before flower court, reading several of his public reviews for other people, and recieving a few reviews from him on my ensoulmet app, is that Protag is definitely giving much lower quality reviews for his own campaign.

On the discord review channel when he was reviewing apps for other peoples games, his reviews would include insight into the character themselves, the concepts behind them and stuff like that. It always felt really helpful and showed a good understanding of character and ho to improve them.

His ensoulment reviews, however, focus almost entirely on how the character os presented, basically just giving advice on how to make the app more clear rather than jow to actually improve the character.

I dont doubt this is being done on purpose, as he benefits from having clearer apps that he can more fairly asses without risking raising the character beyond the writers actual ability.

Well, it's not Pathfinder related, but there was one pirate game I was in where we used jet fuel to make molotovs, and rained fire on a major outpost we had decided to raid. Outmanned three to one, facing turret mounted trucks and sharpshooters, we waited for the sun to be at our backs, stormed the mining compound, bombed the AA out of existence, and made out with four new semi-trucks with trailers stuffed to capacity with valuable materials. If I remember right,we killed about 50 of 60 enemies since most were distracted by the burning jet fuel tearing through their fortifications, and of the 17 or whatever NPCs we had, only three died, with minor injuries everywhere else.

lesser cult totem rage power adds flanking bonuses to damage
there's a few traits you can pick from that give a +1 bonus to hit when flanking, and two that give a +1 bonus to damage
tactical acumen (level 2 spell on a bunch of lists) buffs flanking and other positioning-based bonuses by a small amount, but it's a short duration burst not a long term buff
there's a few races that have racial traits that give a +1 bonus to hit while flanking or something similar
the menacing magic weapon special ability (+1 bonus) increases the flanked bonus by 2
dirty fighting lets you forgo the flanking bonus in order to not get an aoo when you do a combat maneuver without having payed the feat tax, or get an additional +2 bonus if you have payed it
it also counts as combat expertise

Not true, and since you're so insistent, I'll elaborate. My own standards are that I prefer rounded characters. Giancarlo doesn't have much to him, and Alexander is literally a simple farmer. It's memetic, but I'll use Jericho as a counter-example. In short, he has his own fears to worry about and flaws from his upbringing that could hold him back. In other words, he's a character that has depth.

Aside from Jericho? Well, there's CCC, for one. She has a strong backstory with plenty of hooks in it that the GM can use to tailor the campaign as appropriate, and megalomaniacal aspirations that drive her forward held in check by flaws that fit in her overarching goal. If I'm a min-maxing piece of shit, and I usually am, is there any reason not to wear an armored kilt and a mythril buckler as a spellcaster? The kilt can be worn on its own as light armor, I checked.
