For serious. He's not intentionally twisting a wish which means you don't have to try and outsmart him, you just have to do some reasonable contingency planning and make some thorough wishes. Plus, he's a major djinn so apparently he can grant you anything short of godlike power. It's not clear if no djinn or just the minor djinn can't grant immortality, but you can still easily get yourself a life of good health several orders of magnitude longer than what you have now, a suite of magical super powers surrounding the theme of your choice, your own personal waifu/husbando, and you still have one left over to solve any problems that you forgot to account for in the first three. The whole CYOA gets way more interesting if you take the major djinn out of the running entirely, because after lawful djinn, loving djinn is a clear second, lawyer djinn is for idiots, and trader and deathly djinn are only situationally useful, and most anons are not in that situation.

In my pravious CYOAs, I wrote from the perspective that the player would be a guy, but felt that that kidn of approach was not really ideal, especially given that this is a yuri cyoa. This way, the player could have been a girl or a boy beforehand. It doesn't really matter so much.

I think the lawful djinn doesn't go out of his way to give you a bad end, but he doesn't try to give you your desired outcome either. The wish could go either way if you're not careful. The loving djinn is the only one that I would trust with the with of immortality. With any other djinn I would fear they might leave me in a hellish state for eternity - a fate worse than death. Let's do this FTL style, focus on speed and survival if I'm a smuggler.

Interesting Ships: Manta, Kingfisher, Thanatos, Runner

Out of these, I would argue the Manta is the best ship. As I learned in Futurama, most ships can stand pressures between zero and one atmospheres. An amphibious ship that can reach "Any depth in any ocean" means it has some crazy pressure resistance. Plus, you can lose pursuers by flying into neptune or something. Also has decent cargo!

The kingfisher is cool, but weird. Why would you want to increase size and power as a smuggler unless you're planning to found a nation or piss off the authorities.

The Thanatos and Runner are straightforward. Stealth and Cargo.

Manta: 5 Spd, 6 Dur, 4 Atk, 5 Cgo, 3 Crw

Upgrades: +2 Speed More speed to reach bodies of water faster.

Mods: Kitchen and Gym are necessities in my book. Out of library and theater, I'll have to take theater.

Crew: Me, Mary Jane, Charles III, Nurse Lucy

I'd like to take Torgue along, but Charles has immortality and I've only got two crew slots. Mary is a botanist, and I'd like to install a hydroponics lab for food, and she's got a low cost. Of the three female companions, Lucy, Mariah, Tessa, and Rachel, Lucy seems the most helpful, and she's not crazy weird or anything.

Cargo Accessories: Three slots remaining. These aren't really water aqua compatible unfortunately. My manta will be configured for sustainability, so I'll take the Bio-Pod, Mittens, and the Spacewalk Suit. The rest are mostly for urban or combat situations.

I'm a pussy, so I'm not dealing with these freaks chasing me. (No challenges.)

So looking at my choices, I've got a speedy sustainable surf ship and a genial crew. Our objective is to find a system with multiple water systems around, not so many authorities will be using Mantas. We can move goods (MJ, H2O+, and Painkillers are (mostly) beneficial, so we can go legit, install a hydroponics lab, and live peacefully.

That's a good idea anon, I never thought of that mostly because of government/High powered corporation problems problems

Helping Alain will be a little simple but with Mariah being a shapshifter and being a masochist it should make it easier. My plan would be to fake Alain's death with the help of Mariah by having her transform, taking "him" to fairly open place and have "him" get shot and "killed" and then have the paramedics and local morgue paid off for the body and for them to list it as a "cremation" so the company wouldn't have to look for a body or investigate to much and the morgue would think that "he" is still dead and a that a wierdo just wanted a corpse. Also I'll have to apologize to Mariah and offer to make it up too her

Helping Alexandria should be difficult because it's the government and since she was used as a scapegoat there are many families and friends of the deceased that want her captured and killed for her supposed crimes. My main problem here is that since it's a government bounty I won't be able to pay it off and be on our way and that faking her death would require more effort, but by putting our heads together it should be possible after all by bribing the swat unit to say that she was killed in a small ship trying to flee the scene. And if worst comes to worst I would simply use my and Alain's genius to redirect the evidence and crime and pin it on me (with out telling Alain the truth of course) but also keep him and the rest of the crew hidden from it and make it seem that I manipulated, lied, and cheated them and others so that I can become powerful drug kingpin and that I was only using them.So I better my plan works but at least I will know my crew is safe and that they can take care of themselves.

The extent to which cyoas turn anon into a mary sue us almost unparallelled. Yes, anime is often very mc-focused but only rarely is the mc a plot singularity around which the universe itself revolves. Cyoas do this shamelessly. Everything is made around anon. Every character is characterized by their relation with anon. Anon himself is often the only constant.

This is so ingrained into cyoa culture that it's pretty established that options which you don't pick in cyoas are often assumed to not exist. Ergo, if anon didn't pick it, it's of no relevance to the plot, so it shouldn't be a thing.

In fact, I doubt a cyoa can be made where anon is not some sort sue since cyoas are by design tailored around anon.
