The players in the game I'm GMing have to capture a fanatic (he won't give up trying to escape) alive and I'm wondering how to go about this. The party has gotten Lasso's, Man-catchers, and whips in order to do this but what's to stop the target from continuing to struggle until he is eventually free?

Also, does the Witchcraft talent allow someone to learn spells from multiple lores or just one?

File that down before assembling, dry-fit before gluing, go back to filing if you don't like the fit. Dril your fucking barr... oh wait, that's a bow.

It really depends how much time and precision you want to take with each mini, for Mordheim warband about a dozen strong. each with unique gear I would obsess over every detail. For 50 identical guardsmen, not so much.
>>
>>53330787
i filed the excess down so they fit together nicely, there's just 1 ugly spot on the arm that i couldn't get to look nice and didnt want to overdo it. I'm using files from a jewelry kit I picked up at the crafts store btw.

Try putting the arm at different angle, or different arm entirely (most sprues have spares). Gluing with plastic cement (preferably Revell Contacta) will "melt and fuse" the joing, so the gap will be somewhat mitigated, the rest can be covered by paint. Or just give him an improvised shoulder pad.
>>
>>53330757
I've never had much success with sandpaper, I tend to remove excess sprue with the aid of a sharp scalpel, and I drag the back of the blade against the figure, removing unwanted material with a great deal of control. This method is slower than abrasion, but yields better results in my experience.

Maybe, but most people seem to prefer a wet pallet. Try looking it up online - it's not too difficult to make, and it essentially makes the paints you put down last longer.

Last I painted I used a dry pallet, and it worked well enough once I got used to it - you could make do with it if you don't want to go to the effort.

hey lads, so I've got a question about 8th ed witch hunters

so the stat for witch hunters states that they get 2 attacks,
while the stats for giving them a brace of pistols gives them the multiple shots (2) special rule

Now I know that in melee the witchunter will get 4 attacks as a result of that(due to pistols counting as additional hand weapons) but my question is does my witchhunter also get 4 shooting attacks per turn? (gun+character sheet attacks?)
>>
>>53334962
First of all, they get 3 attacks, 2+the bonus from wielding two hand weapons. 4 attacks only applies when the Witch Hunter charges. The Witch Hunter fires 2 shots during the shooting phase. The number of attacks a model has does not have any effect on the number of shots they fire.

Hmm thanks for the clarification anon. I definitely see that ranged weapon profiles don't blend with me lee so that makes a lot of sense however Rule book it's confusing me as to the meld number, if regular 'pistols ' are an additional hand weapon wouldn't brace of pistols be additional hand weapon +the listed one attack? Or am I thinking too linearly.

Also why 4 at on the charge anon, thanks so much btw

So brace of pistols only grants additional benefit with shooting and are the exact same as a regular pistol for Merle is what you are saying right?

The implication is that the model carries a hand weapon in one hand and a pistol in the other. When wielding a brace of pistols, they are wielding a pistol in both hands. In both cases, they are wielding a weapon in each hand.

In the case of 4 attacks, all units gain a charge bonus of +1 attack on the turn that they charge.

That reminds me - I was planning on making some darkest dungeon-esque pig-beastmen a while ago.
I found some decent heads (here: http://maxmini.eu/conversion-bits/head-swaps/boarman-heads) but wasn't sure what to use for the bodies. They would need to be a little chunkier than the normal beastmen but orc bodies are a bit too much.

Between those and the Frostgrave Gnolls I think you could do a nice menagerie of horrors.
>>
>>53341878
It's a weird style of art - I thought it was only ever for 40k covers, never really for WFB.

It's kind of clever in its own way, and doesn't look bad on a cover where everything's small, but in a larger pic like that you can see just how everything's been crudely cut and pasted together.

bretonnian grail pilgrim skaven.png

I think I've finally figured out a big problem with Bretonnia's lore: it's boring.

There are almost no civil wars, none of which will last for longer than a few years at best (and always due to some evil character, not legitimate problems or feuding), and feuds are mentioned half-heartedly and there aren't many examples of them lorewise (you think that's be a great excuse for a few wars between dukedoms, but no). There was never anything like the Age of the Three Emperors, or even really a chance for it - the king is almost always good, and we don't even know why the few that were deposed were - and it was done by the Fey Enchantress, not the nobles or even the peasants. There is no chance for a corrupt or greedy Emperor to give the Moot away. Dukes might be as nominally independent as Elector Counts, but we never really see it. Bretonnians all have something akin to a national pride or character, rather than seeing themselves as Ostlanders first and Imperials second.

Bretonnia is socially, technologically, and economically backwards - and there's no real explanation for it beyond 'they want to be knights.' This could be a very interesting thing to flesh out, especially in how they might have to bend their own rules to function in an advancing world, but in essence their society is like the Empire, but worse. It's not even fully clear where craftsmen or learned scholars come from, since most of the lore focuses on militaristic nobles and farming peasants. City dwellers are barely touched on.

The Lady of the Lake and her worship isn't well fleshed out. Damsels don't seem to act as sources for religious counsel as much as focusing on spellcasting. I get the mystery is part of the point, but it makes Bretonnian lore feel vague and doesn't help their boring-ness, with no chance for religious strife like with Sigmarites. There's no sense of development over time like with religions in the Empire.

>>53343503
There are exterior threats - Norse raiders, Orc Waaaghs, the Wild Hunt - but Bretonnia doesn't seem to be strongly affected by any of them for any reason, even though Wild Hunts happen on a yearly basis. They never get crippled in the same way the Empire might. The skaven invasion after the outbreak of the Red Pox was probably the largest invasion Bretonnia ever suffered, but the invasion itself is sidelined for the fall of Maldred that comes after. There's no Gorbad Ironclaw-like event that destroyed Solland - any dukedoms that were destroyed were destroyed before Bretonnia's unification. There are some occasional good battles, but they seem to hang independently from the rest of the lore in a sense, and don't help flesh out Bretonnia all that much. There's no sense of loss or danger in their history to give weight to what might happen in the present.

If you look at the Empire, a lot of their history revolves around things having happened over the millenia, like the evolution of their navy, the growth of cities, warring factions, the introduction of gunpowder and magic (and relations with other races, since dwarves and elves are important to both respectively). Where did Bretonnia's navy come from? It just happened. There were almost no developments of anything after Gilles le Breton - Bretonnia then is essentially the same as Bretonnia now, as far as lore is concerned. We barely even know if they have any relations with dwarves or elves, or how they view each other.

It's actually rather awful writing, and I don't know what any lore writers were thinking - Bretonnia just kind of sits there in the setting, barely interacts with anything, and doesn't act very interesting itself. It's mindboggling how someone could let things get this bad, especially when Bretonnia's lore has clearly been rewritten and retconned since its earliest incarnations - you'd think they'd be willing to change some things if they obviously weren't working out.
>>
>>53343503
>>53343560
it generally adds to the charm of bretonnia IMO. Here is a land that is has it's head in it's ass and goes about by it's quaint ways for the most part because they don't have any serious challengers at all. The empire basically tanks the primary attacks of chaos, dwarfs do the same for orcs and beastmen operating near south bretonnia might get killed by Wood elfs.

>re urbanisation
we know that there are scribes and monasteries throughout bretonnia, thus indicating the presence of a clergy that is capable of reading and writing.

That seems like a weird situation for a faction in a wargame to be in, though - one where they aren't expected to fight most threats. You'd think they'd end up like Estalia and Tilea then, with their infighting city-states and petty kingdoms. At that point, you have to ask what the point of Bretonnia as a faction is at all.

It's not specifically said where the Red Duke campaigned, but he seemed to have concerned himself with Aquitaine and may not have moved to other provinces.

Whereas when the Skaven invaded, Merovech (I mixed him up with Maldred) fought at Brionne, travelled across Carcassone to fight at Quenelles, and then at Parravon to defeat the Skaven decisively. It was definitely the larger of the two invasions, and the Red Duke was technically less of an invasion and more of an undead uprising from within the kingdom.

GW comes to you and decides to make a deal:

They'll bring back WHFB in a proper 9th edition that continues the setting and ignoring as much (or as little) of the End Times as you'd like, on one condition: you must choose Sigmarines or at least one 40k race/faction to incorporate into the Fantasy world. You have some leeway in what you can change with whichever you choose to add, but you have to add something.
>>
>>53350565
Squats, just bring em over from Age of sigmar, and also give them rules for 40k, and make their homeland Albion.
>>
>>53350195
I honestly don't see how the extra attack when charging is supposed to work. A combat resolution bonus I understand due to the momentum of the charge but I think the bonus should be larger. Either that or grant a +1 bonus to WS like in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

I'll take the Sigmarines - at least they can be fluffed as some sort of uber Empire defense. Maybe the End Times faltered partway through, and they're part of the bulwark that keeps things going and allows the State Troops to focus on helping protect and rebuild.

I can't think of a 40k faction that isn't just like a fantasy one already, or would be awkward to put in the setting. Best idea I can think of is the Adepta Sororitas, being tweaked to be fanatical female worshipers of Sigmar that have taken up arms and armor to defend their land. Yeah, I know it's just Sisters of Sigmar all over again, but at least it's kind of fitting, and their aesthetic would be nice to bring over.

Speaking of, what happened to that Mordheim: City of the Damned game? It's not one that seems to be talked about a lot here compared to Vermintide.

The Kroot are now from Fantasy Australia, they got a hold of a fleet of Cathayan treasure ships, reverse engineered them, and are now invading through the southern seas/west coast of Lustria.
Their guns are now more primitive black powder jobbies, and they need more options beyond the intantry/oxen/hounds, but they'd probably be a decent fit.
>>
>>53347241
Is there anything of 6th edition? It only seems to be 8th on youtube.
>>
>>53350977
The Kroot would fit, functioning as ranged oriented Beastmen. Core consists of Kroot units and Kroot Hounds. Both units can Ambush. Kroot have Hanguns base and can take Light Armor and either halberds, spears or additional hand weapons as options. Kroot Hounds are copy-pastes of chaos hounds. Heroes and Lords are standard, a leader/combat type and a wizard type.

The Special section has four units, Vulture Kindred, Headhunters, Krootox riders and Knarloc riders. Krootox Riders are a Monstrous Cavalry unit. The Kroot Guns on a Krootox Rider are basically S5 handguns without Move and Fire, allowing the Krootoxes to fire while advancing on their foe. Vultures are Kroot with the Fly special rule and Headhunters are Kroot with the Scout special rule. Knarloc riders are similar to Empire Pistoliers. Their Knarlocs have the same stats as Cold Ones though without the save bonus. They are Fast Cavalry with a Handgun base, Light armor and spears can be take as upgrades.

The Rare section contains the mighty Greater Knarloc. It has the option to mount either a battery of the same guns used on Krootoxs or a Giant Bow (S5 36 range bolt thrower).

Heroes and Lords can take either a Krootox or Knarloc as a mount. Lords can take a Greater Knarloc as a mount. Maybe add Jungle Swarms to core to flesh them out a bit. The lores that Kroot Shamans and Great Shamans have access to are Beasts, Life and Shadows.
>>
>>53344432
Otherworld is fairly costly, aye, I think it's because they're targeted towards RPG use where you need less minis so they're priced accordingly.

I thought Warmonger might have some alternate beastmen but they just have the standard goatmen and again price can be an issue (I wish Warmonger weren't so expensive, I'd spend a lot there if I felt I was getting better value). Wargods of Aegyptus over at Crocodile Games have a lot of animal men that you could use if you wanted to branch out, scale should fit and the sculpts aren't bad.

Yes it's a great set, I've recently bought two to start Skaven and Helf armies. As well as being a starter set it was kind of a top up for those two armies with a lot of models exclusive to the set such as sea guard, plastic great swords, eagle rider, reavers and the Skaven weapon teams.

Skaven are pretty self-explanatory, you get more rats and some heroes. For the Elves I would try and get another set of sea guard, then you can have 24/25 with a filler, which is a good number if you proxy them as spear-men. 2 units of 5 reavers is a good set up and loads of people use them to fill out core in 2000 pts, sword masters can work well as a unit of 14 and I converted the second eagle rider to an empire general.

Overall a great set that's a good start for both armies.

Need urgent RPG help!

My players are in Marienberg and need to recruit a crew of around 10 inexpensive low-lifes to crew their ship.

Where do you go to find crewmen in Marienberg? Pirates of the Caribbean went to Tortuga and they just showed up on the docks somehow, but I don't want to do that.
>>
>>53360441
>recruit

Just buy some peasants a bunch of shitty alcohol until they pass out. Then press gang them.
>>
>>53360538
I like it and will recommend it, but I have a feeling the group will want to recruit most the right way. Where can they go to do that? A tavern and just shout?
>>
>>53360624
That could work, but I imagine it might attract some unsavory folk. They could talk to the other ship captains and ask for their crew. Could be a bit more expensive as you might need to bribe the captain into letting his men go.
>>
>>53360673
Not a bad idea. But doesn't there have to be some kind of service that arranges these things? Or a public square famous for crewmen gathering between trips? Marienberg is the biggest port town in the Old World, I think there should be some kind of something similar to that.
>>
>>53360807
Hire town cryer, put up posters, and wait in the pub of the sign of the green rooster for adventurous souls willing to brave the sea to sign on.
>>
>>53360441
Go to tabern, shout, "I need twenty hands for my ship". Maybe tell how much you are going to pay.
Or if you want to make it hard, make it that they have to joing the captains guild and then recruit from the sailors guild. Daunting amounts of paperwork/waiting/bribing involved.
>>
>>53360441
There are plenty of dockhands that would probably be willing to sign on - maybe some mercenaries and sailors as well that you could scour taverns for, foreigners like Norse or Bretonnians who need to leave port anyway. There's plenty of smuggling operations that you could probably turn to in order to find some quick labor, guys who are used to sailing boats sneakily.

At the end of the day, it is Marienburg - most people there are going to know how to sail on a boat. You'll just have to try and work around priests of Manann - they're a bit to big to just throw away, even if they'd really help calm some sailors down.

Bretonnia seems like a weird nation plotwise. You have the grimdark thing where all magic children are abducted by elves and either brainwashed or eaten, but then also they have a heroic King Louen that is an avatar of knightly virtue. Yet he also defends this absolutely horrid system, in the face of their next door neighbors the Empire who are, if not great, certainly not having their children abducted by otherworldly fay. And then you have the navy, which in opposition to the backwards medieval land forces, are actually quite modern and capable. Where do sailors fit in? Are they nobility or peasants in this rigid class system?

The writers over the editions had all these conflicting ideas that were never reconciled together. They're a pisstake on the noble Arthurian legend that shows the repressive backward feudal system behind all the gleaming knights and damsels. Except some of those knights are actually noble. And they have the most modern navy of the old world. And they're all manipulated by elves to be backwards idiots. Somebody splashed a big bucket of senseless grimdark in there, and the other writers never got around to retconning it.

It says in the Bretonnian rules in Town Cryer 8 that it's not historically accurate for Bretonnians to be in Mordheim. Why is this?
It seems dumb to me. Wouldn't a questing knight/paladin be eager to go purify Mordheim, even if only to prove himself? I'm no lore buff so I just wanted to check with you guys. I've seen people bitch about Bretonnian warbands before because they think it isn't historically accurate, and it even says so in their own rules in Town Cryer 8.
Am I missing something? It seems perfectly plausible to me.

>>53365399
Well, I can understand the reasons why not - Mordheim is a tainted city, where most will travel to either for greed, (Sigmarite) religious zeal, or darker purposes. Bretonnians wouldn't seek wealth from trade of warpstone, their religious qualms focus on the Lady of the Lake instead of Sigmar, and obviously they only care about Chaos as far as it is an adversary. For Questing Knights specifically, a part of their vow is 'may no moon look on me twice, less I be judged idle,' i.e. they're not supposed to spend more than a night in one place - an impossibility when dealing with Mordheim, even if I think that part of the vow is often ignored. And Bretonnians have to travel a long way to get there, in foreign territory no less.

I'm not saying it should be impossible, mind. In fact, I feel like Bretonnians get the short end of the stick too often (no mercenaries, little involvement in so many events in the lore), and there have been times in the lore where they've been less than chivalrous or throw themselves into fights not their own. I think it should be possible for a Bretonnian knight and his friends, maybe a few Men-at-Arms or Grail Pilgrims even, to have a Mordheim warband. I can just see why someone making up the lore would say it's very unlikely, though I'd never say impossible - and considering they could justify it enough for rules and a few fluffy little quotes, it seems odd to say no.
>>
>>53361741
Depends on the crewmen - it sounds like you want to make them a little more individual, so it might be up to you. The average hireling - a guy who isn't expected to do much fighting or adventuring, just work the boat - would probably cost 5 silver weekly, like a Labourer. But a cartographer, a Specialist, would be worth 30 silver a week. A henchman - an NPC that functions statwise as more like PCs, willing to travel with and fight - would cost more, at least 2 or 3 gold a week - along with some share of any loot earned.

Try checking out the Old World Armory, and the sections on Hirelings and Henchmen. There's plenty of useful stats and even a table for rolling some interesting features, like peg legs and scars.

I basically just skip over anything End Times - it's easy enough to tell what was before it and what comes during, rather than pick out the little bits that I do like. It's easier, and allows me to focus on the WFB setting itself, rather than the destruction of it, if that makes sense.

Pretty much all I keep are the unique regiments, because those are fun.

>>53364436
good progress anon, blend a brown with a bit of black for leather, or red to make it look like shinier leather, nice fur on the haunches though.

>>53358061
>>53356799
oh wow that's amazing, My oponnent missed that rule off their wild riders, also only gave their mounts 1 attack. No wonder my cannon survived a turn in combat if they werent being played properly.
>>
>>53368395
>>53368395
the drybrush sylvaneth bark really made the fur look better than i was expecting
>>
>>53356686
>>53368395
It's just 1 Str4 attack from the mount. The devastating charge rule says that it only applies to the mount if specified and I don't think it is in the case of Wild Riders.
>>
>>53368445
so I guess that makes my 1 cannon crewman with a bucket of cole swinging it with such force to kill a wild rider, steed and all, then getting Inspiring resolve(1,1) is canon.

This makes me happy
>>
>>53368482
considering that 5 wild riders dishing out 16 rerollable WS5 hits @ S5 + 5 S4 deer attacks on the charge, its a miracle if the cannon lives through that at all with T3 for the crewmember to swing back

The mount is furious as the rider is. When only the rider has the benfit of fury it is specified on the army rooster as (rider only). If you look at the Wild Rider statline, the whole model has fury. The rider also has devastating charge
>>
>>53368906
you're thinking of frenzy, but yeah.
yes, both the rider and the mount get frenzy, i.e the deer has 2 attacks per model until it loses a round of combat

snipe says you can target anything in a unit, right? so thats big things on wheels included.

Here we go then.

Liche High Priest [265pts]: Hierophant, Lore of Nehekhara, Level 4, Earthing Rod, Talisman of Endurance
Tomb King [273pts]: Shield, Destroyer of Eternities, Dragonhelm, Pidgeon Plucker Pendant, Potion of Speed

Necrotect [90pts]: Charmed Shield, Ruby Ring of Ruin

18x Skeleton Archers [118pts]: Musician
4x Skeleton Chariots [250pts]: Musician + Standard: Banner of Eternal Flame [10pts]
5x Skeleton Horse Archers [70pts]
5x Skeleton Horse Archers [70pts]

1x Khemrian Warsphinx [230pts]: Fiery Roar
28x Tomb Guard [409pts]: Halberds, Full Command- Banner of Swiftness

Casket of Souls [135pts]
Screaming Skull Catapult [90pts]

Total: [2000pts]

I know my tomb king is a glass canon, should I use a GW defensive build or does he stand a chance? Heroic Killing Blow look pretty fun.

>>
>>53369014

No
"look out sir", because they are usually chariots among infantry, and so different types of models
>>
>>53369031
I'd say give it a go. If its a friendly game just try whatever looks like more fun to you.
Depending on what you'll face, chances are your king will get stuck fighting a big block of infantry against which HKB might be somewhat redundant
The pidgeon plucker pendant I assume you have just cause you happened to have 5 points to spend, since flyers that dont already cause terror aren't all that common I've found

Also noticed a lack of a dispel scroll which you'll generally want to have in most lists

What does the king's weapon do though? Never played TK myself
>>
>>53369031

On the necrotec use enchanted shield instead of charmed
>>
>>53369031
you are putting a lot of victory points into your King anon, is pidgeon plucker needed?
Are you using potion of speed to charge him out of his unit of tomb guard and into challenges?/monsters.

Otherwhise your juicy m4 hero is going to be the target of absolutely fucking everything your opponent can throw his way, namely big huge blocks of inf and grinder combats if he can't blow him up.

also dispel scrolls are pretty good to have
>>
>>53369014
well they wouldnt even need to take look out sirs against regular shooting since that hits the unit and it's RNFs anyway.
Not to mention that it couldnt take a look out sir in a unit with a different unit type and base
>>
>>53369096
>>53369136
my bad, I haven't ever fought against the big buff stations.(didn't even know they were chariots)
>>
>>53369104
The weapon is +2S, Heroic Killing Blow and can swap attacks for autohit to every enemy in base contact.
The pendant is a 5+ ward against anything that fly.

>>53369128
The pendant is my last 5pts. The potion is here because My weapon isn't ASL so I will try to get at least one round striking first (well not against everyone)

I really wanted a dispell scroll but I can't fit an other wizard and I really don't want to loose my hierophant to a miscast. Or should I loose hatred for a lvl1 light?

The dwarfs should have Wardancers too.
Half the unit would be dancers, the other half would carry long tables.
The idea is that they place tables in front of enemies, dancers jump onto the tables and dance irish step dance, smashing enemy faces to bloody pulp with their spiky steel boots.
Also, tables block overrun.

Neither effect works against other dwarfs or halflings, as they are shorter than tables.

Its a nice Turn based game ala xcom, but a bit rough around the edges. I can see it turning repetitive relatively quickly

>>

Ya know, somehow the giant hand sticking out of the bowl looks more metal.

I think it's because it pushes past the edginess of the whole "witch elves bathe in blood" thing, by subtly highlighting that they don't give a fuck who's blood, and they're crazy enough to kill giant monsters and put them in the pot too.
>>
>>53350565
Mechanicus/Skitarii, minus the robot dudes
Make them a bunch of Tilean skavenslaves who stole some Skryre tech, fled back home, were followed by Skaven army and ended up using some experimental Skaven gizmo to rip their town from the ground and fly away.

They now are a secretive group, hidden from the world by clouds. They track Skaven movements from the skies and strike down to stop the vile ratmen before they attack any innocents. But their biggest priority is denying the Skaven the warpstone, as they've seen firsthand what terrible damage the skaven cause the world with it, and they also need it for themselves, since they still use Skaven tech (albeit a bit improved) and so it all runs on warpstone.
Due to that they are highly religious and avoid magic, because some god (dunno which, I'm not big on human gods) is protecting them from worst of warpstone exposure, and using magic sort of activates warpstone, making it more unstable.
However, they still suffer mutations and diseases from the exposure, and so they've taken to cutting off contaminated parts and replacing them with machinery, hence all the augmentations.

Okay, long shot, but I'll try.

Here's a crappy diagram to explain.

Iron Daemon was directly ahead of my abomination and charge. He then shifted the daemon over so it and the abom were corner to corner, which also blocked my slaves from moving forward. I said that wasn't maximising. He argued that the rules say maximising means the NUMBER of models being maximised. Since all the models in combat were touching, it was still maximised, so he could place it wherever he wanted. Like right in front of another unit to stop it moving.

Told him straight up it was bullshit and poor sportsmanship, he says that chaos chariots do it all the time(?!). Other players agreed with me, but since we were on a time limit it was pointless arguing over it.

I know the rule book is open to interpretation in parts, but fuck me that was taking the piss. Managed to kill the murdertrain though

You're a bit early there, Grom

Can't help that it's so centrally located. Nothing Marius can't handle though, right?

Grom comes exactly when he means to.

Any dwarf, human, and elf maid can tell you that, just a little warning would be nice and all.

It's supposed to be Felix.

What's the consensus on storm of magic?
>>
New to wargaming, are there any easy ways to have an "AI" player in this game, or maybe Mordheim? Would like to play a skirmish game where 2 players fight like an undead horde or something like that. Preferably skirmish. I know I could probably find another wargame that does this well but I'd like to use the WFB setting and minis.
Thanks.

How is this hard?
1. Unit will move forward or toward objective
2. If impassible terrain in way unit will take most direct route around.
3. Unit will shoot closest unit in range
4. Unit will charge closest unit in range.
5. Characters will heal or summon as needed.
6. Characters will cast buffs, roll randomly for unit.
7. Characters will use offensive magic on closest enemy unit.

Just run it like a flowchart

Yeah I guess the zombies just going after whatever is closest would work. Sorry for the dumb question, I'm new to the hobby and to be honest I haven't even gotten a game in but my girlfriend likes cooperative games and I wanted to see if maybe there was a homebrew out there. But the way you explained it, it should be easy to do on our own. Thanks.

next time im definitely getting black spray paint to prime instead of doing it by hand

that's some shit , should take a little piece of his iron demon home as a fuck you.

haha that's fantastic anon, I remember reading a fantasy mordheim short where a similiarly described skaven shrine is where a last stand of sorts happens with tileans and empire boys(then they blow it up) seems on point.

I think I have the same style of bases if those rogre ones are resin too as an afternote.
Nice army!

good progress anon, do you have liquid green stuff?> if not buy it. Helps to fill gaps as the paint won't believe me. also handfiles and craft knives help a lot for sprue lines.

>>53378151
if you are after less permanence 8th ed has regiments of renown, which is 100 point battles in a skirmish fashion(my empire list has 8 guys for example, while a chaos player has 4 dudes)
to give you an idea of numbers

>>53381397
yeah boy, just make sure it's a matte black or it's going to kill you
>>
>>53381175
Sorry, my tone was a bit harsh there, I have never seen any concrete homebrews of this but, plenty of just houserules like I suggested.

Bretonnia lore question: So how did Merovech become a vampire? Do any of the books give more details on him?
I believe (although I could be remembering) he predates the vampires in Sylvania.
