I've tried drawing some myself, and drawing anthros is easier than drawing humanoids(humans, elves, dwarves, etc) because with animals you have kind of a wider area to work around with before you enter what the brain would consider uncanny valley.

Also, I wouldn't mind if you draw her in something you feel more comfortable drawing than armor, drawnon.
Asides from her fullplate she has a set of civvie clothes, and a dress she doesn't wear anymore because when she was a dwarf, it was a nice fit. On her new body she easily passes for a gnoll prostitute, and that ain't something she wants to put up with again.

Not sure if this has been picked up.

Requesting art of an avian humanoid based on the body structure and design of the top right image, but without the wings. They should have the general colour scheme of the bottom left image, and they should maybe look a little hardier (but by no means would they be buff or bulky). They would have a big, chomping beak that should look fairly menacing with its jagged teeth. They would be sprinting across a Savannah sand dune, as per the top left image, and they would have a body posture akin to the bottom right whilst they are running.

If 25-50$ is the most you will pay for a -finished- piece then you honestly deserve every bad thing that happens to you. It's incredibly insulting that an artist has to spend so much time on your request, make it look great, appeal to your every fucking autistic tick imaginable, re-do it over and over until you are finally satistifed like the manchild you are, and then get paid literal pennies. You know on a whole, art just doesn't pay much. In the industry, you're super-exploited. Outside, people consider they wouldn't pay this much for "just a picture". Art is hand-made, as opposed to games of the same price, which are mass-produced once they're programmed.

Technically I understand that and I try to meet people halfway, and say, okay, I get to be paid and do art at the same time.

But that's why I'm very focused on getting demands that actually interest me.

She used to be a tankish dwarf paladin that would take frontline position to draw aggro and keep damage off the other party members. Unfortunately, one day she drew aggro against a bunch of npc rogues and got torn to pieces by sneak attacks. The druid had a scroll of Reincarnate on him and used it, and I rolled 26 on the d%.

I mean, on one hand, it turned her into an evil-smiting immovable wall. On the other, she can't go back to her clan until she finds a way to revert back into a dwarf.

Looking for some art of a pair of antagonist NPCs for my heist-based campaign.

I'm looking for the two of them to be in the pose of the top left of the image, but I'd like the dude replaced with the grizzled orc private eye in the top right, glowing eyes included. Keep the coat in the original image and lose the hat from the orc pic though. No cigar or cigarette. Hair should be fairly short but styled. Replace the glowy pistol with a hand crossbow. On his left jacket breast should be some sort of gold badge indicating his rank of chief of police. His expression should be similar to the current one.

For the elf, I'd like her to have red hair in an updo like the bottom-right pic. Ears stay the same, maybe a more dark green pair of eyes. She's got a flat cap sitting on her head, a more bored expression on her face, and should have the magic be purple instead of turquoise or whatever it is in the pic.

I'd like a remarkably well-groomed red fox chevalier, please. He's a type of minor faerie visiting in human lands and plays the gallivanting knight for the nobles, especially the ladies, to appease them of his good will while he enjoys his stay.
I haven't decided exactly what he should look like, but he would be confident and attention-grabbing, shiny armour and ruffles and fancy duelling swords rather than practical, mundane gear. Preferably showing off his lustrous, boofy fur at any chance. If you'd like to give him a daring facial scar, or a flowing cape, or anything like that, I'm open to most interpretations of the idea.

They see you pump out a great pic in hours because you've got talent/skill/training, and think that you're some drawing-making machine that doesn't need to eat or live. And because they see it's easy for you to put to paper what they want, they think anything they give you is 'enough' to cover for your time, ignoring that you likely had to put down years of grinding and practice, possibly taking classes and courses to get to where you are. They don't know or understand that. What they understand is that you can draw pretty good, therefore, it must be easy for you.

Requesting a wholly evil elf- orc hybrid vampire queen (the first vampire), being dutifully followed by a blind regretful merfolk with blue skin, legs (closer to aquatic elves than traditional merfolk), and runes on his skin. He is also a vampire.

I'd like to request a small bunch of adventurers to commemorate my fiancee getting involved in DnD for the first time. I know requests with multiply characters are often unpopular, but I'm just putting it out there.

We have an 8ft tall goliath (bottom left). Gray skin, shoulder length blond hair (straight), and silver eyes. He wields a pike, or a halberd, and wears chain mail. As a point, just for added character, he acts like an over the top representation of a paladin, for example; when the DM said "you all get a nights rest at the inn" the other characters could hear Sir Lance Silverthorn from his own room speaking to himself saying "Ah, a knights rest, the most honourable of rests. Bravely shall I lay here."

Sir Silverthorn had a squire by the name of Gaston, who I imagined to look like the disney character (top right), but as a 14 year old half elf, who isn't quite as buff yet. Also less of a douche than disneys Gaston.

Then we had Jako, a catfolk sorceror. He looked a bit more like a cheetah than a house cat though. He had cheetah spots, sky blue eyes (with clouds in them, even), and short, well looked after golden blond hair. Jako was the voice of reason in the group, and specialised in storm magic.

We then have the rogue, Mao, another catfolk. She looked like a cheetah also. She has golden eyes (top left), and big ears (a little like khajit ears, if you play skyrim). Mao was a street urchin, and had a pet mouse called Cheese, as well as having a rapier. She was played a little skittish, with a short attention span, and lots of energy.

Both catfolk have small cheetah skulls, slim bodies, and slightly bigger paws (bottom right).

Bonus points if they're climbing a mountain. Sir Lance Silverthorn is climbing ahead, laughing, Gaston not far below, sighing in resignation. The two catfolk had stopped at a ledge, but look up in surprise as the other two continuing to climb, Jako probably shaking his head whilst Mao looks more curious.

Requesting a sleeker, stealthier loadout for my drow thief. I included a couple of styles of carrier vest that resembles what I'm looking for, though it would have a home-made appearance.

Underneath his carrier vest are dark clothes, with tight sleeves down to just below the elbow, with simple gloves. The vest is loaded with pouches for tools such as lockpick sets, smoke bombs, rope, and similar breaking and entering/thieving equipment, as well as a loop on the side to drop his handaxe into.

Requesting something neat with this cocky teen adventurer.

Requesting a BBEG for a virtual reality dark fantasy campaign. The whole premise of the campaign is an evil company has trapped a bunch of participants in a twisted world where shadowy monsters roam and moderators keep the participants under close watch in secret. As an ex-moderator for this world, he was ousted out of the position for failing to kill his own wife (whom was killed anyway) and started a rebellion against the other moderators in favor of anarchy. Still having some coding ability, he ended up transforming himself into a monstrosity in exchange for his humanity. He has the body of the top left image, the pattern on his body should be reminiscent of a missing texture error. He has the size of Pontiff Sulyvahn with the clothes of the center bottom picture. It should be more tattered, revealing some of this texture-missing body. He wields two swordstaffs of light and dark like the ref pic, both having glitch particles emitting from them. Could you give Swashbuckler/Pact of The Chain Half-Elf a shot?

She was once a navigator, a smooth talker, and very beautiful. She uses a rapier, has long dark violet hair, similar to the image at the bottom right. She dresses very stylishly similarly to the image on the far left, but she does not like to show her skin so she is covered very well. Thanks to her pact she has been given fiendish glowing eyes similar to the image at the lower center. Try and make her as hot as possible.

Also due to her pact she has been given a fiendish owl familiar, it's creepy and it disturbs her to no end. The best I could find is the owl image here, but honestly, I'd like anything spooky and uncomfortable, have fun with it.

Requesting my Human Fighter here, Harlow Ironeye.

He's got an eye replaced with a steel ball after losing it to burns, is missing some fingers after a bad fight and is an all around asshole. He's a villain.

He's a big dude, around 6'4", broad and barrel-chested, usually arms himself with an axe and a round shield. Armour is pretty sparse for him, usually just his sleeveless gambeson, plated boots and simple trousers with a rope belt.

Anything at all would be appreciated!

Looking to get a weapon drawing for my superhero character.

The weapon is a pair of tonfa that connects togeather to form a short staff. In tonfa mode, each one is 20 inches long when he connects the two togeather rods extend out the bottom to increase the length to 35 inches each. The handles are then pushed down into the shaft locking everything into place making the staff which is 70 inches in length.

The material is steel like in color with black carbon fiber grips at several points along its length. Meant for a character whose super power allows him to create absolute darkness around him for about 300 square feet if that helps with conceptual design.

Please let me know if you need anything explained in better detail.

I was for a sort of ambiguity there. Gender dent factor too much into their personality. The character is derivative of kid Goku from Dragonball and Ed from cowboy bebop - governed by a sort of naivete and optimism about the world. Since monks are governed by Wisdom, it's a starting point for character development to have someone who is a bit more green and wide-eyed. If you're familiar with the myth of the monkey king - he's antiauthoritarian and, i guess you'd say, a bit cocky, but not ill intentioned.

I would like to request decorative page (exotic race used as a servant) catperson.
He's male, age 16, roughly 4'6", and is dressed in a page's suit. He's slightly malnourished, so while not a hungry skeleton he is rather thin. Hair color is grayish-white, and his eyes are a copper-yellow with feline pupils. His ears are placed where human ears would be, and should be folded back slightly to show he's not terribly comfortable in the suit. You could also have him tugging a bit at the collar, though it's not mandatory.

Eh, sure! She's first and foremost the daughter of an Orc chieftain. Her mother was a human woman captured during an Orc raid on her village and taken as a slave, but she eventually learned to deal with her lot in life over time. Little bit of Stockholm syndrome and a little bit of her father being a big softy on the inside under that hardened exterior. Her mother is where she got her red locks from, makes her stand out quite a bit from other Orcs! So she had an interesting childhood to say the least. However, being raised as a redheaded half-orc in a orc tribe wasn't the easiest thing especially being much smaller than the others. It just meant she had to fight back extra hard. She eventually became a seasoned fighter in the village and one of their champions. When the party arrived to talk with her father, he demanded they had to duel his daughter to prove themselves worthy of his audience. Even though she was stronger, she ended up throwing the fight on purpose to be indebted to the party for "sparing her life" and end up joining them on their adventures. Nothing too special.

Requesting my bubbly summoner squire celebrating victory with one or more of her animal friends.

She's just getting out and exploring without the supervision of her father, who she squired to and is looking to locate on her adventure, so she gets really giddy whenever she succeeds on her own. Her summons right now are celestial dogs, cute-ified zoogs, or flaming skulls reskinned as squishy, flying little soul fish (all three in the reference here). The girl in the reference for the cloak is thick, but Eshe herself is slender, built for dexterity, and likely swimming in her thrifted cloak and hood.

May I request a bunch of female antagonistic high elves who have a pretty young pale-skinned ashen-hair man captive, who'd be/look like the on the left?

The ashen-haired pretty boy is handcuffed while sitting on a chair and has a very worried look on his face.

As for the antagonistic elves, there'd be three of them featured, but only one of them will be wearing a dragon-reptillian scales armor that looks like the ones on the right of the pic:

The high elf "leader" is a female and is wearing the armor/outfit as seen on the right of the reference image. The female elf leader would be laughing maniacally and have dialogue saying:

>"We will harness the cuteness-magic of this white-hair boy to make our magic stronger. Then we will use it to take over the multi-verse! Muhahahahaha!!!"

The second elf antagonist is also a female high elf and will be wearing the dragon bone armor as seen in the most bottom. She is the "2nd in command" or the Number Two person of the leader, she'd be a soft butch-tomboy looking type of gal. If possible, try making her very slightly buff looking. And the second-in-command gal would have her arms crossed as she looks down on the ashen-hair guy, grinning.

And the third elf antagonist; also a female high elf, is the "powerful wizard" of the three and would wear a wizard like robe instead. Make her robes look like its made out of reptillian hide or scales. And she'd have either a magic staff or a wand seen on her hand, plus she'd laugh along with the elf-leader.

Plus, make the attractive pale-skinned ashen-hair guy have a scratch or small scar on the right side of his chin or lower lip area.

Vex was a human born to her father Avaren and Sophia Malmortis in a small pass over village that happened to be along one of the main roads that lead to the capital. So, as a girl she often saw adventurers come through her town, bringing good or bad but always influencing it in some way. A few months after she was born, a group of particularly evil mages came to the village and ransacked it, killing everyone they could while stealing everything they had. After that experience, they developed a rather militant anti magic bias.

Vex however, had a very strong affinity for magic and by the time she was 9 she started to practice in the arts in secret. It took a few years, but as she started doing more spectacular things with what little reading she managed to get her hands on it wasn't very long before word got out that there was a witch in the village's mist and they set to kill her. She was eventually caught and served to be burned at the stake after a kangaroo court style trial. Before she was killed however, her mother(rather brutally) destroyed her captors with magic while her father faught with a sword, but in the process they both sustained pretty greivous wounds. Her mother died at the scene, and as her father limped her away from the village he slipped away... but the latent magic in the area along with Vex's wild surging of magic trapped his soul in his body. (Still working on a way to explain this one- think a very imperfect Raise Dead where he's in a constant flux of living or dying.) So far she's taking care of him and living alone deep in the forest where she ran off to, generally just being a little depressed sack of shit until some adventure comes her way, heh.

Sure you could, but the more you charge the less likely people are to have you paint their house or buy your comissions. If that makes them ingrates then youre an ingrate for every single time you decided a good or service wasnt worth your money, which im guessing is a lot.

Look, I know it not fair and its pretty depressing, but i feel like its better to rip off the bandaid now. Time and effort do not dictate the value of your work, what people are willing to spend on your art determines the value of your work. At least monetarily.

Requesting a Miraluka mercenary suffering from blindness who now runs around in cybernetic armor.

As in 1 he wears a funky retro sci-fi looking Armet helmet with a big fin on top and with an antenna sticking out. Instead of a visor slit he's got a visor similar to the special ARC snipers/recon (2) that sits on top of the "beak" of the helmet. He sees this way and there's cords plugging into the cranium of the helmet that feed visual sensory data into his brain.

For lower body wear, he dons incredibly heavy and thick armor that is semi-powered like 3, with a cape affixed to his right shoulder and hangs down to the knees. Ideally the armor should be colored a variety of muted blues while the cape is a vibrant crimson. Modifications to the armor in (4) include a jump pack and a wrist blaster attached to the right vambrace.

External equipment (5) includes a vibrosword and a T-21 blaster.

The Miraluka were a Near-Human species that differed from Humans in that they lacked eyes, only retaining vestigial eye sockets, and perceived the environment around them through Force sight instead of regular vision. This vision was so strong that if a Miraluka looked upon a Jedi or Sith, they could "see" Force radiating off them.

Hey first time so sorry if I mess this up, I'm requesting a Goliath barbarian looking mostly like and wearing something similar to the stock art only without the earrings, bones on the knuckles and a simple locket instead of the teeth necklace. Standing with arms crossed maybe?

I know that. He suffered trauma as a child after witnessing Imperial brutality prior to when he could reign in his control of force-sensitivity. This blinded him and stunted his force powers since then, and he uses cybernetic implants to see by directing uploading images to his occipital lobe.

Good resources? Use references for just about everything. Over time you'll gather a good visual library of what things should look like,
As for getting a more painterly look try looking up a painting that really has that look you're going for and do a copy/study of it, then try to replicate the same look in your own original work.
Rinse and repeat until you can pull of the look you want. I'd also like to remind that brushes are only as good as their user.

I wouldn't recommend blowing money on brushes since there's a myriad of them available for free and the default photoshop set actually has a really good brush for this kind of stuff: the very rough size 63 chalk one which is what I mostly used for the sorcerer.

I'd like to request my Pathfinder character Krohd the Half Orc Barbarian. He takes after his Orcish side much more than his human side, and was raised as an Orc as a result of that. He has a dark green skin tone. His black hair is long with and hangs loose behind his head with the exception of a single topknot and he has thick stubble on his face.

Armour wise, Krohd wears black studded leather, but with a barbarian flair about it, similar to the Orc pictured on the right (covering his arms and legs, but only minimal on his torso) His weapon is an Adamantine battle axe. Much like the one in the picture, but double sided.

Krohd is has some noticeable scars on his face and arms as a result of his reckless nature. The most noticeable scar though is a huge burn covering most of his left leg, and some fire damage on his boot/leg piece.

If I could get Krohd in a battle stance, or mid warcy that would be amazing.

Requesting these troopers as imperial guardsmen and one of them courting an eldar howling banshee, but is utterly shocked to realize its a guy.

The "2nd" soldier in the image would be the guy who is courting the banshee and is holding a bunch of flowers to give. But he is horrified or shocked when he sees the banshee is a guy.

The banshee being hit on would non-chalantly tell the "2nd" soldier he is a guy as he took off his helmet.

The "4th" soldier in the far right would be laughing out loud at the expense of the 2nd soldier, he'd be holding onto his belly as he's laughing.

The "1st" soldier would be doing the clenched-fists-on-his-hips posture as he's simply looking on the hilarity.

And the "3rd" soldier would just also be looking on with crossed arms.

The shape is the same, but it appears to be made out of Energy, instead of metal (of course speaking of the edge only) in drawing terms it means that you just need to draw according to reference shape, to then color it with a purple/glowing purple shade, without caring too much about details.
