Run the scouts with the Dark Angels, and put a squad of Tacticals with the Blood Angels. Now give the BA tacs a Flamer, Combi-Flamer, and a Heavy Flamer, plus a Drop pod if you can instead of the Rhino. Now run the allied detachment as a Flesh Tearer Strike Force instead.

Your Shooty marines now have a great Choppy vanguard that have a chance of getting rage on the charge, instead of Obsec which they really didn't need.

Alpha Legion Chosen can infiltrate and are troops, and yeah it is the special weapons.

Up to 4 models (including the champion) can take special weapons, power weapons, dual lightning claws or plasma pistols per unit, and 1 heavy or special weapon, and the Champion gets all the standard CSM character wargear options.

We did a cache set up. Bunch of objectives (was a 2v2 so we had like... 20ish). Each objective had a random card that referred to different drinks.

Once your opponent's turn started you could drink any Objectives you control. Stopping for Saves / Close Combat.
Stopping when it was your turn.

Whoever finished a drink removed the objective and got points. So sniping half finished drinks was clutch.

Other than making it a War Convo, can this be improved? Throwing the psykers each in kataphron for prescience/divination, coteaz is there for interceptor and seizing initiative, Cawl will join a unit of Kataphron with the Dominus and the whole unit will get skyfire/tankhunter/monsterhunter every turn with additional canticles thanks to Cawl.

Gun trukk: Maybe a supa shorcha to light up heavy infantry or a big lobba for smashing cover creepers, or if you REALLY like zzap guns, the Big Zappa for d3 shots.

If you want it as heavy ranged gun platform the Big Trakk is tougher and has WAY better gun selection for just 5 points more.

Flakk trukk: another gun trukk with special weapon, or maybe a Gun wagon for a affordable and fairly tough transport.

There also the Looted waggon, 37 points and 12 seats that stay even if you buy the 30 point killkannon.

You have to remember that the original sister order, the brides of the Emperor, were only 1,000 strong. I need advice from you Thousand Sons players and other wizardy sorts. The only time I've used a psyker in my armies was a sorcerer in my Iron Warriors who I basically always tried to get Iron Arm on.

Now, after seeing several Thousand Sons battle reps, I've started working on a very psyker heavy list. My conundrum is I'm not sure what powers I want to be rolling for. My list is basically going to be 2/3 Exalted Sorcerers at ML3 two Rubric Marine sorcerers at ML1 and two Scarab Occult sorcerers at ML2 for a grand total of 12 to 15 dice. If I wanted to be "viable" I'd do The Purge with Ordnance Tyrant, artillery spam and zombies, maybe with some Heralds Anarchic to add Divination.

Maybe you shouldn't ask people if they've played the game when you don't even know about the faction I'm using, or what strategies I could use.

The cultists come back on a 4+; they're there to give my guys cover saves and to hold backline objectives.

Why there is no dates on a timeline in new codieces?

Just starting with Skitarii/AdMech and I'm building a War Convo. I'm just getting back into 40k after being gone for about 8 years. So far I've been rolling with a Skitarii Maniple, so I don't own anything AdMech (do have Cawl and a TPD), but I basically have the Battle Maniple already.

You can swap an army with one, and then buy another from the standard vehicle equipment.

You could also take a combi-bolter and one of the other combi weapons on top of that if you really wanted a lot of guns, but that's just indulgent at that point
