Design-wise, I don't think there's much you can do to separate her from BB Hood, since there isn't really much to separate BB Hood from the RR Hood look. So the idea of a slightly unhinged huntress RR Hood will always be associated with BB.

Honestly, DP69's original concept felt to me like an uninspired character in terms of concept and design whose purpose was to serve as an unceremonious amalgamation of kinks. Serpent's design was more interesting, but slapping on a different piece of art didn't really fix much else. The color difference used here to communicate the shadow of the palm tree is not optimal, I would say. The chromatic shift from pink to purple is far-too heavy-handed, and should be toned back to make it look less like she's been half-painted. Your linework is also quite jagged, but improved linework is something that only comes with practice- which you are already getting by making content for us.
That being said, the pose is quite good, and her proportions are in-line and symmetrical. You have a great grasp of how the human body fits together, and how it's various parts stick together and overlap.

Keep it up, Anon. You've got a solid set of skills to work with, and clear goals to work towards to improve yourself.

The shadow color shouldn't be too far from the lit color, just slightly cooler and darker. Since it's a shadow from a palm frond with lots of ambient lighting, the shadows won't be too hard at all. So yeah, that ought to help.
And as far as the linework goes, you'll figure it out. One day you'll just be bored and stumble upon some method or tool or other program and you'll give it a shot and like the results. I know that I personally hop between paint tool Sai and Photoshop and Doodl.exe because there's certain things about each program that I like for certain tasks. I'm all but certain I could consolidate these tasks to one program (probably photoshop) if I bothered to learn the program better, but I don't particularly give a damn about the process.

I suck at art, I generally prefer coming up with concepts. But a long while ago I came up with a concept that's been in my head ever since I've posted it.

So, I finally nutted up, and decided to make Towergirls style art for the first time in my life, and shall now shre it with you.

Warning, I am AWFUL at art, but I was inspired to attempt this style and share my previous princess with y'all.

In my opinion, the problem with the first Holstaur isn't that she's a futa. If you look at her card, you'll notice that there is literally only one line of text that describes any aspect of her character; the rest is dedicated to her body or her companions. Because of this, the only appeal she can generate is towards her physical properties or her associated kinks, putting her at a major disadvantage in generating waifu-dom when compared to other Princesses.

Simply put, she is one of the most if not the most one-dimensional Princess we have across any of the charts, and I believe that should be addressed before turning to numbered alternatives.

Hell, I might just be bored enough to go through with it. Only thing stopping me (other than it being almost 1 am here) is that I don't have clean art of the princesses off of the cards. I could bang out most of a gen in a day should I actually try, since there's so little there. I would just need to make a better background image. You may think it wasn't too bad, but as a graphic designer, I think it's ugly as hell. Line's too messy, done at a small scale instead of proper resizing, and it doesn't even look like parchment. I can't even get the lines to look the same as the current cards since I can't figure out the exact settings.

I'll probably try pumping it out at some point once I can make a good page though. Cutting out some of the princesses from their cards is going to be a bitch to do though.

Not so sure what I should fit on the card. Right now, it takes up FAR less space than the current ones, but I'm trying to figure out what should be on them. Think of it like crappy trading cards instead of the detailed ones we have now.
