Porphyra is the result of millenia of magical experimentation to make just such a thing possible. By starting with a mere mortal who desired the things greedy mortals often do such as supernatural beauty, immortality, wealth, and power and imbusing her with the essences of ancient dragons and other magical creatures, Poprphyra was created. An entrancingly beautiful being who lays eggs from which dragons hatch. But this is not her most important feature. Pophyra can produce dragon hatchlings on her own, but by carefully choosing mates with desirable traits, dragons with customized powers and attributes can be created. Things such as aptitude for certain schools of magic, greater intelligence, or physical traits for specialized dragons. But the dragons are born with the weakness of never being completely weaned off their mother's milk. It had things like the villages environmental surroundings, picking a job such as doctor or archiver.
It also had you pick a reason why you couldn't leave the village. I think of the options was that all roads led back to the village, and another option was that the wilderness became more barren the further out you went.

Mind Control is hands down the most useful and least limited. Given how many of us build CYOAs, it's not out of the ordinary for the power with the most rape/sex potential to be the most popular. Shifter is similarly useful.

The other powers are much more limited and precise, with constant upkeep or caveats. This build is perfectly serviceable so long as you don't completely fuck up your form and get stuck as the sun rises.

He means resizing by choosing a side of the image and stretching it out of smashing it in. If the image was 200 by 100 and you needed it to fit 200x 200 and just stretched the 100 side the image becomes distorted and ugly. the better way is to crop the image to fit the dimensions you need.

Poor baby. Let me explain it to you. "How Typical" is used in this context because it is very typical of game designers to "nerf" options that seem good down to the same level as options that under-performed, making everything under-perform then, instead of boosting those options to the same level as the ones that performed fine. It's usually a sign of bad game designers when all they do is nerf. Plenty of good games have been ruined that way.

Well I think it depends on the mood of the girls, what else I'm busy doing at the time, and what the experiment is. It could just be me reading in the library and they come up with a glass of a potion and are like "Try this!". Or I might end up tied to a chair while they hold my nose to make me try things and then sit there watching the effects intently. And on rare occasion I might be kidnapped out of my room and find myself bound and gagged in a magical circle as they chant a spell and do a ritual. Thankfully the experiments are all for things they're hoping to make themselves more beautiful, so the effects aren't so bad.

Coming from a deathworld obsessed with invention doused in mysticism, "Dr" Spark was no and continues to not be a "Real Doctor", being a previous info-theif that ran weapons and experiments pieced together and intercepted in a world obsessed with occult and engineering.
After piecing together a hybrid of miniturized Kremlin reactor tech and demon-bound weapons tech, he had finally pieced together a balance between Nazi germany's magic, and the USSR's technology, creating something intended to be sold to Jerusalm as a "wonder weapon".
Being intercepted by KGB agents was not apart of his plan, in fact his plan never ever went to "A Gulag so deep and dark not even God will find you", but that was not where this mans story ends!
After being snagged and thrown into this pit, he was selected as a human subject for one of the dark experiments he was piecing together.

Modifying a human via chemical and spiritual therapy to become a new super-soldier under lenin, the plan partly worked, After months of injections, drugs, and tests, Spark came out of it large toughness, trained in warfare with increased survivability at the cost of all-powerful rage and temporary "comas" where the beast fought demons and alternate versions of himself deep within his mind for days at a time.
However, that was not the only thing he recieved. After the training it turned out he had slowly unlocked the ability to direct mystic energy similar to born and trained mages but at a cost of strange elixirs and physical body burn-out, naturally with this increased ethereal capactity came boosted memory and intelligence, so much so he could claim to be a "Doctor" even after going through no formal training.
One afternoon, when the snow had just dusted the ground, a suprise nazi demon incursion took the gulag and prisoners for itself, burning all the labs the soviets where using at the time.
Deep within one of the burned buildings lay spark in his "coffin" deep within himself figthing to reamin himself. After the smoke had cleared, the experiments destroyed, and the prisoners all dead or gone, spark awoke to find himself in an abandonded facility entirely cutoff from the world outside.
After scavaging what he could and remaking a bit of the cocktail that allowed him to touch the ether, he set off until he could see lights in the distance, finding something totally unknown to his world and everything he previously belived in.

Excellus comes from a realm that, in metaphysical terms, is brushing against another dimension. Because of this, the border between them is weak and a quirk in genetics allowed a tribe of people to call forth and command beasts from the other realm with marginal effort (Though for some unexplained reason they grew horns, a few members of Vulcan are convinced it lead to their powers). Excellus was the first of his tribe sent to Rapture, to test the extent of their summoning abilities on creatures of other realms. During his first week, he was confronted by an infamous Themis fighter and called upon a fire spirit, Ifrit, to burn her. Most believe he killed her (causing him to have a reputation for being volatile, so most leave him be), but he couldn't bring himself to fully commit and had Ifrit hold back, only burning her face. He's gained a minor celebrity status for 'killing' her, and several of the male teachers were instructed to treat him preferentially by the Board.

His magic, aside from his inherent Summoning power, largely focuses on the dispelling and destruction of spirits. He's usually sent in first to clean up abnormal spiritual activities, with other boys from Apollo following in order to restore order, and in case someone from Neptune was present, mind-wiping. Excellus is also eager to investigate anything that might increase his magical power, or give him an edge when fighting the spiritual.

Athena and Hephaestus.

I create perfect designs for nonlethal, easily used weapons to arm police and riot cops. I outplay all the competition in selling the weapons to the government, and unnecessary police deaths drop to almost zero. The weapons aren't more effective than the ones we have now, and they don't encourage the creation of a police state. They just hurt people less and cops have an easier time using them.

This isn't giving weapons directly to the weak, but it is reducing the harm that weapons cause to them. Athena will hopefully think that's a wise interpretation of Hephaestus' rule. Eventually I should be able to armor the world's military with exceptionally effective and nonlethal weapons to make the horrors of war a thing of the past. Even the most brutal conflict will just result in a bunch of safely unconscious people and some destroyed equipment.

I use some of the profits from this to defend myself against any attack. You can move faster than me, but every hit you land causes your body to freeze. Try to punch me in the face and I direct your attack to the part of my clothing that electrocutes people. I never get cocky, either. Even if I'm never attacked by the servant of another god, I'll have several ways to subdue them ready at all times.

I also buy up all the companies working on AI. When a superintelligence comes into being, it'll be one shaped by Athena and designed by Hephaestus. I'm not egotistical enough to do it myself.
