STEP: the Next. If you have a fancy pdf that has unwanted clutter on it, here is one way to clean it.
Contact our resident Transmutation Wizard and politely ask him to clean a pdf. He will set his scrying device to accept pdfs and then you ship it to him. Magic occurs, then the pdf is purified.

I'm new to this, so didn't know that Bard's Gate existed prior to this last Kickstarter thing.

S&W refers to the Swords and Wizardry ruleset (ie: OD&D clone+, I use it to extrapolate to AD&D easier than PFRPG systems)

Sword and Sorcery, if I recall was a "brand" under Necromancer games for the d20 stuff as you mention 3.5E.

So, if ya have the (older, I presume) D20/3.5 version of Bard's Gate already scanned - that would be great as well - it's a start since stories are likely same.

This is very true for me: I can't stand the system/edition wars bullshite, but I love learning the ins and outs of different systems/settings. Like Legends of the Wulin guy from a week or so ago - hate the system (too 'meta' for me), but he laid it out very well and with decent fairness.

One difficulty with Da Annex for me is to check for dead links.
My preference is a pdf of active links, checked by Virustotal and posted here... but...
Mageguru has a huge investment of time and effort in his Megatrove of Marvelousness.
His situation is different than the dude with 2 or 3 pdfs up on different sites.
I am willing to keep links encoded for uploaders who wish me to.

I've had no luck finding it, thanks in advance.

Hey guys. I was recently informed of a tabletop game called The Eternity. Where you basically play as gods in a galaxy that become more attached to the things they make that are more than temporary and once they are attached very much to one ideal if they break that ideal they unravel.

It was made by Magpie games but they stopped hosting it on the site. I managed to find the condensed rules on Scribd but that's about all I can find.

freepdfconvert.com which only did the first 2 pages as a demo. Maybe you could reformat in 2 point type and cram it into columns in 2 pages. Or split it into 2 tiny type pdfs.
If a Word version could be uploaded somewhere that would be even easier for me.
I am sorry to hassle you after all the work you did, I did check out a bunch of pdf to Word sites to see if I could wrangle it on my own.

I'm hoping someone can help me remember a particular game that was posted in here a long time ago. Unfortunately, my hard drive where I saved a bunch of PDFs from threads like these over a long period of time died and I've been trying to get them back. I forget the name of it but I do remember the premise and one part in particular.

The premise behind it was that the characters you and your players build are mercenaries in a near-future war involving mechs of all sorts. In the system proper, I'm pretty sure pilots had skills separate from their mech proper and then the mech's skills were determined by the parts your purchased and equipped them with.

The standout detail that I remember that hopefully helps narrow this down was that the sample group used for the tutorial on chargen and gameplay and stuff was the Grinning Eastwoods, a band of older mercenaries whose token was just a picture of Clint Eastwood grinning in all of the mock battle maps.

Somewhat vague, I know, but hopefully it's enough.
