The party isn't going to be fighting demons and demigods. Anything except the targets in question will likely be more on the easy side for the party to handle, but the targets will either be a challenge or require challenging circumstances. The Gestalt portion is to round out party dynamic, and ensure everyone can have a character that works with the theme without having to sacrifice to ensure healing or DPS are available.

How hard would it be to convince a "no 3rd party" DM to allow the Faerie Dragon bloodline for an illusionist sorcerer? Sorcerers don't seem to have a lot of illusionist build support otherwise. I'm not sure if this bloodline is broken or not though.

Would you allow a Neurokineticist (Legendary Kineticists) to take Thrallherd (Dreamscarred Press)?
Thematically it fits and would only need a little bit of tweaking to make the Thrallherd bonuses line up with talents from the Neurokineticist, and I don't see any balance issues aside from the usual leadership ones that have already been talked over and agreed upon.

The mana wastes are steampunk, anon. That's worse than Low Fantasy....Anyway. This is a "looking up from the ground" view of Golarion. The characters are entering the world of the higher fantasy and should come from the lower fantasy backgrounds they've outgrown, so they're kind of in the middle. To a commoner, even in golarion, the world around them is going to be mostly mundane. Sure, Golarion is a high fantasy setting, but the towns and areas of lesser import are lower fantasy.

Played a spitespawn that was tweaked to be more Nightmare descendant than Div. He was a mind-fucking Mesmerist (cult master) that gave the party no end of trouble, but was always helping prop them up and working together just enough that they kept him around. Also helped that they discovered he was doing stuff to help in the background too, just being tsundere about it.
Of course, he planted all of that evidence and had the party thinking well of him through careful delving and suggestions in their dreams, but it was all for the best.

Psionics has a simple check to remove the displays.
Arcane has silent/still spell and most enchantment spells don't have a visual effect, while illusions are generally crafted to fit so you can bluff your way through
Psychic magic is generally less flashy then arcane and so on, and already is without the hand waving and chanting, so again, pretty easy to bluff and act your way through it.

The theme and possible abilities.
Avatar lends itself to flashy big moves, charge up sequences, dangerous forbidden techniques and slice of life shennanigans. Aka, composite blasts, gather power, burn, and useless wild talents.
Carrie etc has themes of staying hidden, getting carried away by your power, creative uses, and alienation. This would have led to markedly different design in both mechanics and the powers themselves.
Example, there is no wild talent or ability to cause a heat stroke. No fire talent, no air talent, no fire/air composite talent. It doesn't matter how good you are, you can't carefully surround someones head with heat and make them pass out while keeping a low profile.

But the original anon's story sounded like she wanted to go all the way within the first month or week or so without having really gotten to know each other.

And a committed relationship like mairrage is not something to rush into, as such things usually are shortsighted and can end messily in divorce and be harmful to both parties and the children.

I can pump this to +63 a few times per day.

Issue is I can't beat tremor sense, and need cover if a creature can see invisibility.

Is there any way to get Hide in Plain Sight at level 5? How do I beat tremor sense besides flying?

An alignment restriction and everything else is just character backstory. If it is the right campaign for it, I guess you can give a sociopath an increased resistance to horror and stress effects. Sociopaths have notably improved mental resilience against things like shellshock and PTSD.

Do you still count as unarmored while you have a shield? It seems like they are different since Monk AC bonus mentions being both unarmored AND not wielding a shield, and shields have their own item section separate from armor, not to mention giving a shield bonus instead of an armor bonus.

By 2-weapon fighting rules, an off-hand weapon needs to be light or you take a penalty to the attack roll, unless you specifically spec into using two evenly sized weapons. Even then, that specific weapon would still take penalties on the power attack

In the event you are using a light weapon in the main hand, you would indeed be right. No penalties would be incurred, but then that begs the question of why you are using a light weapon in the main hand when you likely could use another weapon for more damage.

In a level 5 gestalt game is this enough to be able to sneak up on and assassinate most folk?

Besides this all I can think of is Hide in Plain Sight. Which is next to impossible to get unless I become a shadow dancer.

All classes in PoW have, at minimum, 4 + INT modifier skill points, with the highest going up to 6 + INT modifier. What sort of skill modifiers does he have on his rolls? And what kinds of results is he rolling?

And yeah, PoW Medic doesnt grant any DR at all.

My personal weapon of choice is the falchion. Two handed, and 18-20/x2 is second only to 19-20/x3. If you have the feats to spare I'd grab Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Falcata). Estoc can be used two-handed as a martial weapon if you like it over the falchion.
