You all knew it was me starting the threads up anyways.
Once the world was nothingness, and then with Domina the Star Mother, She Who Remembers, the first WORD was brought and it was light.
Then came the world with Lorshian, the first moon with Udros the Steadfast. From the rays of Domina’s firstborn, the sun, and Udos’s moon, Molinoth the Remaker, the World Serpent, was born.
The gods of shadow, darkness, death and decay; The Lurker, Nihil None, Ralet and DARK awoke.
Sleazus appeared and made wine, long before life itself, and began a party of godly proportions that would encompass the first and second ages of the world.
And thus ended the first age of the world.
Caliban the architect created the second moon.
Naturasta, Amrito and Zatheens appeared and spread water and life across the barren world.
The gods fought against DARK as he entered the world once more and declared war on creation. He was imprisoned within the third moon, crafted by the efforts of Caliban, Zatheens and Heroicus.
Thus, the second has ended, and at the dawn of the third age, Molinoth and Heroicus walked amongst the mortals.
The frosen cyclops Urgös usurped Frackt the frost god's power and invoked eternal cold upon the world, but was beaten back by the combined forces of Domina, Frackt, Caliban, Molinoth, Regolith and Veraiitus the deciever.
Domina damaged her own divinity birthing a pair of frozen stars and was nurtured back to health by Regolith, Molinoth and Heroicus, where she fed upon and almost devoured Heroicus in his entirety.
Thus, in a flood of dick-sucking jokes, the third age ended.
Witness returned to us, and became Witness-that-was, as a god of Balance who set up the Great Wheel, where the souls of mortals travel through to be reborn.
Golgadath the Maw outside Matter fed upon the souls travelling the Wheel, and was set upon by Heroicus, Regolith, Witness-that-was and Veraiitus, who drove it out of cosmos once again, where it hungers and feeds upon the few souls that fall off the wheel.
Herocles the mighty ascended into godhood and fought Domina in a dream of grandeur caused by Veraiitus, and was devoured in the end and remade into a giant yellow star.
Thus ended the 4th age.
Frackt created his own planet of frost and worked on it as a sideproject. Barastran, the demigod of stars, crafting and courage, was forged from Herocles's broken armor and a little of Heroicus's and Caliban's essences.
Domina set her sight on the great wheel in her hunger.
Regolith spawned his own line of demigods amongst the mortals, and the fact of demigods being much weaker than gods and yet much greater than their kin was proven.
The gods have begun to coax select mortals onwards through Heroicus's Labyrinth for a new god of courage to rise in his stead as he prepares for his last battle, one which even his son lost, to re-stabilize the great wheel and the cycle of rebirth.
Select a tripcode to become a God, and roll 1d100 to speak the WORD and make things happen. Anonymous players form a Choir to praise or scorn the works of these Gods as they see fit.
I didn't know it was you starting the threads up...
Rolled 86 (1d100)
Alright then, if you wish. Looks like there will be another star in the sky.
And so Ucton approached while feeding off the Wheel, embracing me and willingly offering himself as a divine sacrifice. He should not be denied this divine fate and so I meet his embrace and pull him close to my bosom that he might feel my divine love before the end. Eventually I consume him, the burdens of identity being stripped of his being by my glory. Because his is a divine soul, it endures the crucible of my womb, and is purified to its base state to dwell within me. With time his soul gestates and becomes a star, which eventually is birthed into the cosmos to burn pure and true, and shine with divine glory.
Rolling for the strength of the new star. Ucton can assist, and has control over the new star. Certainly naming rights, unless of course the star be called Ucton as well.
Well shit, that's a powerful star. All respect due to Ucton who made the willing and ultimate sacrifice.
And so Umion is born, a brilliant main sequence star. Not the largest star in the cosmos, but possibly the brightest and a very strong kinship with nearby objects. For the time being, I bring Umion to my bosom to nurse to prominence. Though it may not be necessary, it will give time to determine where it should end up in the cosmos.
Rolled 21, 38, 83, 30, 96 = 268 (5d100)
And as usually, I oversee the attempts of mortals to breach my labyrinth to the top.
(first roll is mortals, second demigods, third clerics, fourth frostfire mages, fifth summoners. 95+,90+,93+,94+, and 90+ needed respectively )
It has happened. A mortal binding summoner made it through the labyrinth to sit on the throne, protected by my avatar as he received my domain and power akin to mine.
Now, with another god overseeing and fanning the flames of courage in the cosmos, and my full power returned, I am free to partake in my final battle. Either I shall fall in it, or Domina will be incapacitated and forced from the wheel.
So I heft my hammer, Godbreaker, and head onwards to war.
Any gods are free to join either side as they please, for I am now Heroicus, god of nothing, and my enemy is the Star Mother that feasts on our mortal children.
Rolled 93, 41 = 134 (2d100)
Awoken in this 6th age i Urgös gaze upon his brother creation, the a world of frost. Gazing upon the reborned humans Urgös reach toward the world, finding a way to acquire more power. In the cold plains, were him and he's brother rules with snow and ice and were few humans lived. The blue cyclop disquised as a haze bed's with a mortal human of it's lands and give birth to his first demi-god.
First roll is to disguise myself. Second roll to see if the mother survives.
Rolled 45 (1d100)
Not willing turn on my Grandmother, but not willing to immediately strike down my friend, I shall try to talk Heroicus out of it.
>>Friend, what is there to gain from attacking Grandmother Domina? The mortals she consumes are attaining paradise, becoming part of her radiance! Many of them worshipped her in life. Let them become part of her!
Rolling to persuade.
>The mortals she consumes are attaining paradise, becoming part of her radiance!
Tell him sweet lies!
Rolled 45 (1d100)
>My friend, this has gone on for too long. Mortal souls are not made to withstand her power. She will destroy all that we make with her hunger eventually. She must be stopped, or at least contained.
Rolling to sway Regolith to my side, and to keep going on my warpath. (same roll, seeing as failure would mean Regolith talks me out of it.)
Rolled 70, 79 = 149 (2d100)
The deep is done and the mother is impregnated unfortunantly her body isn't strong enough. Making the child become deformed in body. The thing born from the communion between the mortal woman and Urgös devine seed. Humanoid, but way bigger then a normal human would reach however small in comparison to his father second creations. the monstrous demi-god grew alone on the cold plains of the world and thus it was born Urgös first demigod child and the first Bugbear.
Let's see how does his lineage go along rapind and pillaging the other settlements. First rolls is of his own power second is how many 'kids' he creates.
I would guess it's up to the Chorus normally, but probably the tie-ers can decide how to break it. Would imagine Heroicus and Regolith to do something arm wrestling or a race to determine the winner.
Weclome to creation. Pretty decent first roll for power.
Rolled 52, 47 = 99 (2d100)
I shall begin my work as a builder of earth and stone i shall begin by making an asteroid like a comet but made of metal and rocky material
roll 1 how many i make each 10= 1 asteroid
roll 2 how rare the metals/rock of these asteroids are
Hey Tutarr can i have a talk if 'ya'. I liked this shit you can carft from metal and other stuffs teach me how to do it? If you do i promise never use my cold to bugger your shit.
Rolled 5 (1d100)
I see the efforts of the new god, and seek to assist him in his task. Rolling to bless his creations with a stable kinship to Helios.
This is a straight addition to his roll of 66, so the higher the better but nothing will hurt.
Think like this Domina, if his creations loose orbit they will fly all over the creation, you will have some new thinks to eat. Helios will have some to eat too.
To be honest battling with the fucking mother sun might be pretty fun
Well i kinda started as the asshole god so. Only conceded because i was ganked....
With the help of Tutarr learn how to forge metal creating a celestial forge with the use of it's power.
Tutarr as a thanks you can keep this divine forge. Also sorry about your planets...
And thus to learn how to forge metal Urgös, with the bread assistance of Tutarr created the divine forge. Powered by divine power the builder now possesed a forge powered by divine power.
Now creating powerfull weapons with this forge will be great. To help you in your work i gift this to you Tutarr. So you can give life to all your creations. Muwahahahaha!!! I'm indeed great!
Rolled 31, 7, 34 = 72 (3d100)
damn i meant great. Guess i will go eat now.
>Go to slumber the bugbear demi-god still conquering the cold planes.
Rolling once more to see how large his army grows, first roll to warriors, second to bersekers, third for sorcerers
Probably something related to your domain, or use of the item.
Like if you're a metalworking god, then maybe a permanent flat bonus to any rolls when working with metal. So you'd roll the normal 100 dice, and then a "+X" with x being whatever flat bonus you feel is appropriate. Or maybe just something flavorful, like "When swung and struck, dX meteors shoot out of the hammer".
It can be anything really, though something to your domain is usually the most sensible choice.
Rolled 66, 49 = 115 (2d100)
>the battle of low rolls
the hammer crashing into Regolith's mighty shield, I move to dodge his counter, setting myself up for another good strike.
First roll is dodge, second roll is to attack again (if first roll succeeds). Second roll activates the hammer's properties (60+ = either fire or frost, 80+ = both)
Rolled 3 (1d100)
I believe enough time has passed that Umion has nursed to stability and is capable of standing on his own two feet.
Thus I push the new star out into the cosmos. As per the current map, >>44897969 I believe placement will be on the same lower horizontal level as Herocles, and more or less "downwards" / "beneath" the twin cold stars of Kreos and Polus.
Rolling to celebrate this event, by emanating an aurora from all stars across the planets of their respective solar systems.
My shield blocks the next attack with a crash and a flash of blinding light. As Heroicus is blinded, I strike with my mace, the head engulphed in holy flames.
The head connects, holy fire washing over Heroicus from the point of impact, drowning the noise of his grunt of exertion as he brings the hammer up towards his friend.
sucks to be the majority of those asteroids.
Rolled 13 + 30 (1d100 + 30)
StoneSmasher falls and i finish a single Asteroid
disappointed in my lack of progress but proud of my new creation i continue my work and make more asteroids
Me fucking damn it, have I spent the entirety of the 5th age living amongst the mortals? Well, I guess it was worth it. I hereby leave my avatar and return to to the stage the gods play on.
Rolled 27 + 30 (1d100 + 30)
yes a small planet among the asteroid belt around Helios
rolling for more asteroids
I was busy studying the mortals. The more knowledge of them I have, the more I can deceive and scheme in the mortal realm. But I guess I was too engrossed in the lives of mortals to pay attention to the lives of gods.
Going to be ducking out for a little while, so during that time will make use of the avatar I created from the zoo, to go among the mortals and see what all the fuss is about.
Hopefully the sparring between Heroicus and Regolith isn't finished before I return.
You can't spend an entire age and a half among them, and not get some fucking in. You'd have to be either a very aloof god, or have a really alien avatar not to.
It's hard to tell with the strange passage of time in these ages.
Rolled 79, 19, 14 = 112 (3d100)
A massive Planet of stone! Unfortunately i have little practice make anything other than stone and would call other gods to help me crate this planet
roll 1 core size
roll 2 rare materials/metals
roll 3 mountains
It kind a get bored making up with new songs to praise the gods creations. This lazy fucks keep so phew words we are starting to have limited songs.
Rolled 30 (1d100)
I really want to meddle in something, but I also just want to make a palace. Making my own home finally, I want it to be grand to hide my cowardly little butt in. Rolling for how magnificent it looks.
A Huge ball of rock and iron very flat with little mountains or atmosphere but that will change over time as a big molten core power the the ever growing volcanoes pumping smoke and ash into the air i call it Toilara for the hard work put into its building
Rolled 14 (1d100)
You scrawny bastard. Because of you i lost my fucking arm and mine Vjärn's in the war i want you to pay me back with something. If you don't i'm gonna end you.
Rolling trying to pin and hold him down.
You evaded with no trouble.
Wait you helped me? Urgös isn't very smart he's more might then smart. Oh yeah you did. Then i ask you. You do like your schemes don't you? What if i tell you i have a scheme planned by myself and i want your help?
Fucking frost gods, mate. One moment they want to kill ya because of some ancient war that was like 3 eras ago, the next they are acting all buddy buddy because ya reminded them that you helped them. Me damn it.
Because the decoy is filled to the brim with gold and shit, and its entrance is located somewhere the mortals can find it in about 3 eras.
The real one is just filled with books.
and plans for schemes.
Rolled 56 (1d100)
Into the world came a new feeling,
through the world goes a powerful call;
by means of wings of a gentle wind
now let it fly from place to place.
Not to the sword thirsting for blood
does it draw the human family:
to the world eternally fighting
it promises sacred harmony.
Under the sacred sign of the hope
the peaceful fighters gather,
and this affair quickly grows
by the labours of those who hope.
The walls of millennia stand firm
between the divided people;
but the stubborn barriers will jump apart,
knocked apart by the sacred love.
On a neutral language basis,
understanding one another,
the people will make in agreement
one great family circle.
Our diligent set of colleagues
in peaceful labor will never tire,
until the beautiful dream of humanity
for eternal blessing is realized.
Rolled 74, 82, 32 = 188 (3d100)
I return. And what an experience it was, mortal life is so strange and ephemeral and yet oddly rewarding. Since coming into this cosmos I've had only the stars to keep me company for the most part, while the mortals live communally and even welcome strangers. Truly a unique experience, and most shocking of all, the humans at least don't suffer from the hunger! They might get hungry overtime but can eat "food" found on their planet, and are satisfied for compared to what I am used to, an incredibly long time. Even then, only when it is killing them does their hunger feel comparable. For once, it was nice to be able not feel the gnawing emptiness inside, I think that's what they call "happiness".
Rolling to see in more detail the experience of the avatar in relation to fellow humans.
Rolled 40, 27 = 67 (2d100)
Based on the rolls it looks like my mortal time was spent fairly happily and well, I managed to attain a surprisingly good mortal husband, and though we weren't well-off by any means neither were we starving. A quiet farming life.
One final roll for the most pertinent concern.
Well at least he isn't like that shitlord nurgle, slaneesh is best though
Rolled 67 (1d100)
Looks like one child was born to us, a daughter. Her life is her own, but eventually my human partner died of old age based on the prior roll, my avatar following not long after.
Rolling for divine power of the demigod and potentially her mortal lineage.
Well she appears to be quite strong for a human demigod, possibly the strongest one yet if I am not mistaken. If she becomes a mother herself and creates a lineage, it could be somewhat unbalancing to the current human order.
Either way, my greatest gift of all to her as per the design of the avatar, is that her divinity is concealed by her own body. Only a with divine assistance or a god themself, with a sufficient roll, may be able to tell her nature so that she may live as normal a life as she wishes, under the radar of any prying gods. Those that may share her lineage, will share this trait.
Thus ends my time and involvement with the mortals, a divine experiment. I return to my godly form and role, and the duty and hunger that awaits.
well now the race of giants roam the stony plains of the giant rock planet Toilara.
Intelligent and quiet mostly spending time in small communities they don't mind humans but sometimes there are just to many of them so giants tend to avoid the bigger populations of humans
my palace is the best! Style is elaborate Indian architecture, pic related, with lots of silk hanging from the ceiling and cusions all over the floor. It is the jewel of the system, orbiting the beautiful star
It's less that they can't figure it out, and rather that I don't believe anyone created silkworms yet. Although there's a lot of life in the cosmos so far, the variety is very limited since the earlier creation and nature gods were quite specific about what they made. Like it was single species per-post for awhile, rather than more of a blanket style of "I create 100 bird species"
There were a couple tries but the rolls were quite low, again resulting in only a few types.
Nope you can sleep with a human of ask sleep around with another god to create another divine being. So it can inspire the creation of fabric and other stuff to humans. I'm surprised that the god of knowledge isn't in this place yet. You can even become a god of knowledge. Since it has many forms. You could also turn this place into some pretty sick library.
There were some nature gods in past ages but they're not around any more it seems.
For the record, there are other ways to create things and inspire mortals, that isn't just sleeping with them.
Perhaps speaking the WORD placed it in my palace already. Never the less, I roll to inspire its invention inside the closest thing to Lady Hsi-Ling-Shih that exists at this time (+10 because my domain includes weaving)
Rolled 85 + 10 (1d100 + 10)
1st roll for making plants and animals standard for making fabric (eg silkworms (mulberry trees too), sheep, hemp, cotton) and dyes, second for inspiration for things like knitting, spinning, weaving, and general production of fabric
Rolled 98 (1d100)
I'm awake!! I'm awake!!! All witness my glory! as i proclaim with a might roar the new life i must create in Tutarr's domains. Since he didn't created nothing for his giants and humans to feed beside stone a nd lava i glaze his world with my cold touch to create snow and with the planets heat create water and life with it! SO I SCREAM the word Megalanias! Creatures with tought skin and tastefull meat and at a size smaller then the giant but bigger then the humans.
Rolling for their numbers
Looks like they aren't too good at it, but it's there. Humans are clothed. Or at least clothed better. As an aside, does the choir think I should be a god of knowledge?
P.S. how do I do 2 dice rolls with separate modifiers
By the great word Urgös stop briggind the dinosaurs back to life. This guy really....
I think you should we are a little bit crapped in gods of warm cold and trickery and less in knowledge. Humanity needs somethign to stop being so boring. But do it only if you want to.
Rolled 83, 17, 34 = 134 (3d100)
Ah!! These creatures of cold blood and great rage are perfect. Truly the most inspiring of my creations! This gives me a idea i will forge something in honor of these beast i created. First i will gather each of precious metal.
Rolling for arts and crafts. Stacking the amount of gold, silver and copper
Make me stop asshole. Ah you can't!
Rolled 26 + 10 (1d100 + 10)
Reminds me of pic related
Alright, roll to become Trasa, knowledge weaver
Rolled 14, 4, 42 = 60 (3d100)
~and jut like that, here comes the reasonable side of winter. Not everything Winter has to be about Freezing Deaths, Blood on the Snow and terrifying creatures of Ice.
A resounding crack echoes around the cosmos, Urgos' Winter Mantle tearing apart as Frackt and he wrestle for the coat. Back and forth they pull, and with the sound of breaking Ice, the coat is split in two, as per their agreement.
With only half their power, the Winter Gods can't get up to as much mischief as normal...
"Welcome, Tutarr. Metal and Heat is not usually my thing, but I see that my 'brother', Urgos, has tainted the Coat of Snow with the metal shavings of your knowledge. Normally, I would take offense to this! Creations of fire and metal are deeply entwined in Domina's god-lines, a lineage I, and by extension Urgos, do not share. She and I bear no will to each other, but my Frost and her Heat are anathema to each other...
Come, let us seek a happy balance. Bring your Forge to Kreos, my half of the Frozen Twin Stars. There, my world, which I shall now name Xioni, shall serve as temporary host to the Divine Forge. Quell the heat of the forge, for we shall temporarily replace it with the FrostFire of my star. From this, we shall create a new substance. Neither Stone nor Metal, but Crystal, so Ice-like in appearance. It pleases me, and shall decorate my world!
TLDR: Tutarr, I'm mad at you for getting my Coat dirty. To atone for you sins, you and I are gonna invent/create the first Crystals.
Rolling. 1st=Forge's "heat" 2nd=Quality of Crystal(+1/2 of 1st roll) 3rd=Quantity created(+30 for Frost Domain)
Ok Gods, Uncle Frackt needs your help. Have at it!
Rolled 5, 85, 64 = 154 (3d100)
Frakt what the fuck!? You come like this and start splitting our mantle. Haven't you figured forging already ? Metal is cold and can be bent with heat i bent metal with my divine powerness.
The cyclop observe his 'older brother' creation and chiuckled with such attermp. Because what you forgot to use might to forge it! I told you already.
Rolling to help Frakt and use both frost powers to empower the blue ice crystals.
Rolled 52 (1d100)
Shut up Choir i'm busy here. You know those cold spots in Heroicus labyrinth could use some stuff in it. Gonna make some frost spider emerge from it. My 'gift' to you Heroicus.
rollling for amount
Rolled 37 (1d100)
fuck, I fell asleep, sorry about the 8 hour delay man.
With the head of Godbreaker coated in frostfire, Heroicus swings it to intercept the holy hammer of regolith.
(roll is to clash some unnecessarily large blunt objects together as offense/defense/disarming)
YES YES!!! NOW FEAST UPON THE MORTALS MY BEAUTIFULL CREATIONS! GO AND BECOME BIGGER BY FEEDING FROM MORTAL INVADERS IN HEROICUS TERRITORY!
Rolled 45, 83 = 128 (2d100)
Buffing Frost Spiders with my powers.
Urgos, we gotta define the magical properties of the Crystals we made. I was thinking they are heat-sinks, able to absorb heat and use it to grow. This means that any area with Crystals slowly freezes, while the Crystals themselves are warm to the touch.
I put a Crystal in some of the spiders. Let's see how it works out. First roll is generic power-up, second is for the success of the FrostFire Crystal Implants.
eh, fine by me, the influx of mortals + other traps and monsters there should keep their population in check.
Besides, it's not my labyrinth anymore, a binding summoner (mortal tapping into the WORD) made it to the throne. The domain and title is his. I guess this next god of courage will most likely also be some kind of creation god.
oh my... RIP future adventurers. (more like they need 99+ now to make it)
About our crystal Frakt since they were created with low heat and more in a grow like way would the crystal work like a moss? In a way they spread themself through heat and once a certain temperature reaches the surrounding area they would stop to grow? If this crystals can 'hold/containg' heat. It would be a solution to help cold blooded creatures to live in ice cold areas. And would the crystal emerge from underground? Will it be from your/our ice planet? It can work also with a 'frostbite' effect except it uses the amounted heat it has in itelf to burn/hurt something. But i think we should make something like as hot as burning coal.
Oh boy i fell some mutation is about to happen with these spiders.
I think this new mortal is fucked
Rolled 33, 97 + 40 = 170 (2d100 + 40)
Retrying this inspiration biz (+40 cause of my new domain is knowledge+old domain is fabric ) 1st is quality, 2nd is quantity
Hey frakt i have being thinking in some thing and just wait a bit and hear me out on this one... just imagine all our frost world with 6 feet 11 inches tall talking polarbears that walk on two feet.
Rolled 85, 72 + 10 = 167 (2d100 + 10)
Perhaps I should make something for the labyrinth. Not too hard, we already have crazy frost spiders. Bedsheet ghosts then! Roll for quantity then quality
>be adventuring in super hard dungeon
>after a long day adventuring find a empty room with confortable beds
> wake up after sheet were actually ghost.
>fuck this dungeon
Ze Operation was a rezounding succezz!
Witness the Crystal Spiders, their Icy webs a danger to all!
I want some. Heroicus, I'm taking some for my world. Urgos, come check out Xioni, it needs work.
So far, it's gotten col, but not cold enough for ice to be form, more like we get morning Frost on the ground and that's it. The Equater is still pretty warm, as well. The atmosphere is thin as balls, probably too thin to support life, but it's getting there. The aurora borealis is now DOUBLE the power, so it's freezing influence is greater.
It still has no life. Holding off on spiders until we can get an ecosystem going. I will lace the grounds with Crystals though.
Rolled 52, 44, 82, 100, 87, 65 + 10 = 440 (6d100 + 10)
Postponing my great work to manifest my powers and steal mortal poets, scholars, weavers, dyers, and spinners for my lavish palace. Notice I didn't say anything about avatars. I'll snatchem while they sleep, because bed sheets are fabric. So are clothes. I have much more power than anticipated. Roll for each in order, plus clerics, or, as I prefer, "men of the cloth"
With the complete Mantle, I nix armored polar bears. They are overdone and boring.
Trasa, I make a gift to you. Woven strands of FrostFire Webs, spun by the matriarch of the Crystalid's herself. Do with it as you please.
It shall make a fine staff, and shall go by the name Hedgeheg. The cold ground of my planet shall know it's power, stone and rock pounded to dirt and loam.
I guess I could use it as a walking stick afterwords, as well. In exchange, I present to you a fragment of my coat. It is cold like no other, and any tool you make with it would be brother to the warhammer wielded by Heroicus
Industry? Industry requires smelting, forging and such, all too hot for my taste. Besides, I have had quite enough of Giants, thank you! Urgos is OBSESSED with them. Instead, I need a plant that can survive such a thin atmosphere. Where can I find a plant that can survive in what is basically a cold rock in space? When I find such a plant, then I will allow you to spin from it's fibers.
Rolled 13 (1d100)
Good amounts of each
Begin to card the nebulae, and use the great wheel as a spinning wheel. Assuming it works it will take me many hours. Roll for using the great wheel, then thread quality (+40 because of obvious reasons)
Hoy Frakt why do you want to use plants if it's easier to use moss? Create some freaking frost mushrooms. Or just create a mushroom civilization on your planet caves and mountains.
>mfw i suggested Trasa to become the God of knowledge
>mfw he start to grow in power because of human creativity
Your welcome by the way. Also let me talk with some of these humans artists they look like a nice bunch and they looks like someone that would understand our job as this universe choir.
Rolled 7, 26 = 33 (2d100)
Jacking that idea, Snowshroom spores are being concocted as we speak! Only thing is, I need dead things to feed them...
First roll is potency of spores. Second roll is me kidnapping mortals that have frozen to death, their bodies and souls whisked away to be food for my shrooms.
Kidnap some adventures from heroicus mountain and let then explore it. The strong ones become the human habitants and the dead will feed the snow mushrooms. You can even make some of this humans be mutaded with your ice crystals and create some kind of humanoid mushroom people.
Rolled 48 (1d100)
Creating life is hard enough as is! I am not a Nature God, the only reason I can attempt things like Shrooms and Spiders is because they start with S and S is the Snowiest letter of the alphabet.
Name a fish that starts with S, and I can make it.
Captcha: Choose the Bodies of Water. I see this as a sign from beyond, and roll to make SHARKS.
For now, let's try this. Low rolls are good, because Icy temperatures are low.
Orca's and Penguins don't start with the Letter S.
The Letter S is the coldest letter of the alphabet.
You may be the Choir, but I AM the Frost God! Half of the most powerful God in reality, except for Domina the StarMother herself! If I say I can only create Living creatures that start with the letter S, it is for divine, cosmic reasons you cannot comprehend with your non-frosty brains!
I enter into being from the space between realms, the area between light and shade. Wielding my divine weapon, Anthraxus, I behold the Gods of the 6th era, and note two fighting and an ice God forging.
Roll for power.
Is that a 3rd Frost God I spy? Ok, in case you are, just so you know, the two current Frost Gods, me and Urgos, are two halves of One. He represents the Harsh Side of Winter, and I am the Gentle. What part of Winter will you represent?
If frost God I be, I'm the side that brings sleep. I'm the creeping chill that touches the nose and blackens the toes. Neither gentle nor harsh, I'm the unwavering front that pushes through heat, the weakener of health, the taker of poor. I'm the season. I'm Winter.
Giant moles with huge cave systems
across Toilara i feel like this will lead to many dungeon crawls
We already have a Nature God, traitor. You can be the God of Bananas, suits you and your yellow-back ways.
Tutarr, I appreaciate the Moles, but frankly (Fraktly?) I don't want them. Moles are dumb, and wouldn't survive on my planet anyway. Put them on another world.
Rolled 40 (1d100)
Yellow bellied, is the phrase, and odd. I have looked through your histories and find no mention of a Nature Deity anywhere in the texts. I even find mention that none exist currently. I did not come here to be Nature or Winter, for there are already two halves to your whole. Instead I came to find a place for my peoples to call home and a role to fill.
Rolling to manifest planet from the inbetween place.
Here lies my ruined world, Daemonia. Less than a quarter of its population and size remain. Harken to my sorrow for my fallen peoples. And my joy at the survival of the few who made it, for they shall live on in this new place, away from their persecutors.
Rolled 32 (1d100)
Nice world you have there. Daemonia, eh? Sounds like a hot and hellish world. Cute little population there, too. Be shame if something were to happen to them.
Rolling to bury this damn planet in ice and snow. +40 for Domain and since Urgos isn't here.
Now, these are cute. Weak, but cute. I'll take them!
Rolled 47, 63 = 110 (2d100)
World creator, Tutarr, lend me your hands to recreate the world of my races. For I am new to this place and know not the powers at hand for forging worlds and reviving the people I made in a place far from here.
Rolling to shape planet and reinvigorate race.
Oh Cold One, know this. Daemonia is not hot. For a race of the dark may live there, they're not of Hell, not of Sin or Vice. These beings are born of mortal death and the planet before was a wasteland. A hunting ground for them to evolve and grow. I came here for peace, not to harm anyone. But your attack will not be forgotten. But it may be forgiven. Gentle one indeed.
Even the nicest winter saint has to give out a little coal sometimes. Spurn my offer of Winter Divinity? I drown your people in fluffy white crap.
Dearest Frakt, shall I shred your people with storms, inflict the young with cough and tremor from an unexplainable orbit closer to the sun, show them their first Summer? I could and through their deaths my people be reborn. But I shall not. For I'm not here for war. Give an age, my people will be back.
Rolled 60 (1d100)
Tutarr, I ask again if you, with your divine hammer and might, help me create a home here for my people and break the ice trapping them. For they cannot die by cold, they may surely perish by starvation.
Roll to persuade.
Rolled 17 (1d100)
Live and rise my abused planet. Live and rise.
Rolling to break ice and fix planet. Adding 52. Will break with sudden growth of life and close orbit to sun. Adding 20 for domain.
Rolled 42 (1d100)
Enjoy the frozen crops, nerd. Heaping more ice and stuff. Adding 40 for domain, and increased power.
Gods can double up on the same domain. At least, that should be allowed when there's a vacancy for it, and there hasn't been a definite "Nature" god in several eras.
Besides, nature is such a broad domain, it could probably have multiple gods at once.
Rolled 22 (1d100)
Frakt, my people will not die of cold and they do not eat from the Earth. All you do is give me more to work with, and yet I feel you are angry. Please, calm down before Urgos awakes. For you are the sweet winter. Not like I was, the Howling Storm.
Roll to persuade.
Rolled 1, 90, 9 = 100 (3d100)
Rolling to assist Trasa in his endeavor since I seem to be the resident authority on the Wheel. A gentle reminder that if our usage coincides however, I may turn my attention to him instead.
Two rolls, one to assist, and one to feed from the Wheel as usual.
I feel sorry for the hardships Zerji and his people have had to face despite having only just emerged.
A third roll to try to shed some light his way, help against the encroaching cold, and share my glory. Might be difficult if his remnant planet is closer to Frackt's region of the cosmos.
Well it looks like draining countless mortal souls directly off the Wheel is much more appealing to me than helping Trasa, or Zerji.
At least those mortal souls won't get to reincarnate having completed their turn of the Wheel, instead finding their way into my proverbial belly. Oh wait, that's a bad thing.
Still going and still cluster fucked.
Rolled 92 (1d100)
Your puny persuasion does not sway my wintery path. If you precious Mary Sues are such special snowflakes that neither cold nor starvation can harm them, I shall freeze the very planet apart, as ice does to rocks in winter. We shall see how they like the freezing wrath of the void itself!
Rolled 84 (1d100)
Hail Domina, Wheel Watcher, Star Mother. I appreciate your assistance.
As for you Frakt, half God, my people come from violent death and are eaters of such. Your cold can not harm them beyond stopping their movement. My people are hardy, for their planet and home plane are destruction. Mary Sue they are not, for they have weakness.
Rolling to protect planet.
She hasn't been around since like the 4th era though, and before that only the 2nd.
Again, a domain as important as nature, I think having more than one god, if it means always having a nature god present, is more than fine.
That's fine but to be fair even when she was around, Naturasta was a nature goddess specifically in the capacity to make life, rather than seasons or weather or anything like that, so it's not like you'd be stepping on toes with summer or spring.
Well, in my previous incarnation, I was world destroying beast of chaos and God of Winter whose main goal in life was to survive the apocalypse and give my children, the Daemons, a true chance at life. And yet all I find here are people trying to kill them.
Tutarr, my friend. No one here, who is talking like a reasonable deity, is a killer. I've just seem to have heated a Winter God. I know not how, but he's hot to kill my people and I'm sure he'll try to kill me.
Rolled 76 (1d100)
"world destroying beast of chaos and God of Winter whose main goal in life was to survive the apocalypse and give my children, the Daemons, a true chance at life."
And I'm the bad guy here?
You know the drill. More snow!
Rolled 80, 19 = 99 (2d100)
I only want my people to have a true chance at life. And it does appear as though you're attempting to destroy a world and all it's peoples for a perceived slight.
Rolling to defend. Rolling to create race.
The ice being poured on by Frakt is slowly being shaped into a smooth orb and the race of Daemons forced to the surface. As they come to stand, the Ice Worms are born, deep beneath the surface, tiny forsaken creatures.
the planet being slowly frozen solid and we go straight to godly shanking
Rolled 14 (1d100)
Of course my mastery of the Cold is complete. I've been here since the beginning.
One final push to eradicate this ball of rock, and the miserable demons that crawl on it. The Ice worms, pale, pathetic creatures that are born when the Seasons God wishes to mimic my Frost, shall perish as well.
If I can get over 75+, then reasonably this planet shall be destroyed, cracked into powder by my power alone!
Rolled 15 (1d100)
My planet lives on. You have a scythe blade flying at you. I'm taking my planet elsewhere.
Rolling to move planet away from Frakt's territory. - 10 because combat concentration.
Rolled 81 (1d100)
Ah, so that's why I can't go for the final push and use my power. There's a weapon stuck in me...
No matter, I won't die just yet!
Yanking Daemonia back, closer to the twin frozen stars. If I cannot make the final destruction, than my stars shall!
-20 for wound and combat.
Looks like my stars shall feast well tonight! Let's see if your Mary Sues' can survive the FrostFire crucible. I have half a mind to attack you next, but I think the destruction of your people shall sate my wrath.
Rolled 61 (1d100)
Hehe~ *cough* I-I've had worse.
That is a lot of blood though...
Good thing Ice is good for reducing swelling and aches! Desperate roll for Medical attention! I shall consume the frozen husk that was once your planet to recover what power I lost in being wounded!
+40 for Ice Domain, -20 for wounded/combat.
Wtf is happening? Like, I go away for a few hours, and I come back to Heroicus and Regolith beating each other senseless, and Frakt and the new guy fighting over a planet. Its like one of my plots, except I can't remember when I thought this one up.
We can continue fighting, but let me put your heart on Ice. Should help preserve it for a while...
Rolled 8 (1d100)
I'm loving all these attacks you make, and then fail to roll for them. I think -20 every time you forget to roll is fair, don't you?!? :D
Rolling to freeze you solid, so I can once again claw your heart out!
Rolled 42 (1d100)
And with the -20, your heart should still be in my palms!
Rolling to resist decapitation, and continue attempting to freeze you! +10 for Domain, accounting for difficulties of combat and such,
Rolled 58 (1d100)
Well as it wasn't stated until after the fact, let's make it a future rule. And I believe I've taken your head.
He killed my planet and my people. It's only fair.
Rolling to make sure Frakt is dead.
Rolled 22 (1d100)
I, Voluris, successor of Heroicus and god of courage will assist in pushing these gods apart and levelling spears of light, as I once did as a mortal when I tapped into the WORD of Domina, towards each of them to deter them from continuing.
His people did not wrong me. His people are innocent. I will use his body to remake their home and his death to create them again. His power shall go to his sleeping brother. It is not my power to take.
(Frakt, you there?)
Rolled 19 (1d100)
As much as I appreciate the help, it seems we were late. However, I am going to do something fun now.
Rolling to take some shards of Frakts body. Every 10 is another shard taken.
Rolled 74, 3 = 77 (2d100)
Rolling to create a new world out of Frakt's divine corpse and to create a new breed of Daemon from the death of a God.
+ 10 to first due to material used. + 20 to second due to Power behind creation.
Rolled 50 (1d100)
They were evil demons! I was justified in destroying them!
No shards yet, as Im not quite dead!
I tire of this nonsense. As the second most powerful God, I will not be slain by an upstart. Rolling to convert my form into pure Essence, weakening my Defense but strengthening Offense. I will blast him and any else who aids him in a final rush of frozen air.
Of courde, if I fail, I will be suprmely vunerable. But with my full +40 bonus, I dont see that happening.
Rolled 35 (1d100)
Define evil. We are the Divine, beyond such things. My creatures merely needed a chance.
Minus 20 due to strangle.
Rolling to use all of the forces of the seasons to resist. + 20 domain.
Looks like we are at an impasse. I cannot destroy you, and you me. Cease this fight before I call on the aid of tge other gods, or force me to use power I would rather not.
Also, Daemons. Not Demons. Demons come from Sin and Hell. Daemons come from a Death. They're not bad.
I'm so glad I haven't actually been hurt yet. It'll take at least two blasts to kill me.
Rolled 9 (1d100)
assist me Veraiitus, in pushing these gods away from one another in the cosmos. I will interpose myself between the two warring gods and use the spears of light as a barrier between them.
Rolled 4 (1d100)
Frakt, you began this by killing my people. By destroying a world I fought to pull across the multiverse. You expect me to just give up? No. You will die by my blade and chain Frakt. I swear it on the name of my children.
Rolling to stab again.
Rolled 58 (1d100)
The shockwave from the hammers hitting echoes across creation, as the two evenly matched gods continue to spar.
>>Brother, it seems we are evenly matched this time around.
Rolling for how powerful the shockwave is.
Frackt, Zerji, I may be the youngest of the gods, but I hereby decree that you stay far from each other in the cosmos, Frackt with his twin stars and Zerji closer to the giant star Herocles.
And once Frackt has recovered from the duel he shall return Daemonia and its lifeless inhabitants to Zerji, no matter the state it is in after dwelling within the god of frost.
>When fighting a friend we do not wish harm upon, yes, we are. Your grandmother may be the first and mightiest of us, but she must have boundaries declared upon her lest her hunger tear creation asunder.
(Trying to implement the whole "tied debate" and "duel not getting anywhere" things here as some sort of compromise)
I do not blame you for having missed it in your heat of battle, but I am the champion of Heroicus's Labyrinth and heir to his domain. I may not be as powerful as the former god of Courage was, but that will not hinder me.
In my former life as a mortal I was a summoner and drew upon the powers of the WORDs, most specifically the Star Mothers' WORD.
Fair words, youngling.
Unfortunatly, Daemonia has been utterly consumed by Kreos, the FrostFire star. Small planets dont survive against small suns, after all...
I shall rest at my stars heart, to recover for now. There, I shall think of some compensation I can provide the meager Zerji.
>Very well, as civil as the Star Mother can be. But if she shows her true nature and desire to devour us, me particularly, do not stay my hand nor my hammer, my friend. I will refrain from attacking her as long as she refrains from attacking me.
>The purpose for this is to protect the great wheel and all mortal children of the gods. You know that I shall go to any lengths to achieve this, whether I must become a jailer, a caretaker, godslayer or nurturer; and I expect you to be prepared to go just as far when needed.
Do you speak of the Star Mother? Is she come ill?
You say former as if Heroicus is dead. Is that not he there speaking to Regolith?
Voluris, you wish for peace, yet you let beings like Frakt attack the new and exterminate races?
Zerji is an outsider God disguising himself as a Creation God. He had immortal biengs of death on a shard from another Universe. I took it upon myself to destroy them.
Here, have your half of the coat.
As you are not acquainted with the history of us gods, Heroicus erected a mighty labyrinth and constructed a throne at the end of it. Any true mortal who makes it through the labyrinth and sits on the throne is ascended to godhood and takes up the mantle of courage for all of creation.
This does not mean he has to die. Although he is no longer god of his domain, he is still one of the most powerful gods awake.
And as to why I let him do what he did, I am a god of COURAGE, not JUSTICE, and even then my power is not on par with my predecessor's yet.
They can be killed by fire and light. If you must know. Well, could. And dear Frakt took it upon himself to murder a race he took no time to learn about. Perhaps you'll be more level headed.
Ah, I understand. A test to prove ones worth. Congratulations then.
And what about Molinoth's feelings about that?
>You may be a protector, but I am not. I may not be a god of any domain any more, but I know it would not be protection.
probably on saturday at the usual time in the evening
Yeah Urong took Frakt's domain from him instead of being second god of frost, which sparked the 2nd or 3rd god-war, where 4-5 gods worked with Frackt to restore his powers and it ended with the two sharing their divinity with each other. This was in the OP though
I stand by my opinion that I acted justifiably. Life from otger Universes, cared for by a God that seaks to change Winter to Summer, and beings that resisted my power?
I was right to worry.
Rolled 41 (1d100)
300 today. How many next year? Next Century?
Regardless, I bring you a gift. I will help you make a new world, and a new race, and they will have a place around the Frost Stars.
Rolling to set base of planet. From here, we can build out.
Rolled 3 (1d100)
Ah shame, looks like I missed the end of the confrontation between Heroicus and Regolith to do anything of meaning as a result. Probably will resolve in the next thread.
Meanwhile before this age ends, I might as well try to get out of it what I can. Rolling to gorge on the Wheel of Creation!
I think you ate to much.
Funny part of that is i was only after Domina the rest just stood in the way. As lond as you don't step in my toes i'm fine.
Now hold up Frakt are you telling me that a new race came from other universe. In a deadly planet survived the journey only to be ended by your on hands? Never though you had in you. Kinda proud really.
I might work on that a bit, but more on the image than writefaggotry, I'm not good at that.
but who knows, I might put up a pastebin of what it would have been like if Herocles had beaten Domina. Maybe. One day.
When was the last time you slaughtered something senselessly? Youve calmed down, Ive become a little more... proactive. They were anethema to us anyway, and I didn't appreciate that. I gave a place in orbit around our suns, as a way of saying "sorry", but if he starts re-creating these Daemons, or similiar Anti-Ice creature, I will fling them into the sun.
