They're resilient little frakkers. I have to empty a quarter of a laspack into their face just to down one. Luckily you can smell them before you see them, so they never take my squad by surprise.
THEY EZ FOR RAPIN' AND KEEPING AS SLAVES. OR IZ DAT ELVES? DEY LOOK DA SAME EITHER WAY.
SPECULLY ON DER KNEES, HEAD BURIED IN-
OOPS, HELLO BOSSMAN WARBOSS. I'M NOT TALKIN BOUT ANY TING I SHWEAR!
Oh for the love of Commorragh, not another infestion. Steve? Honey? Darling?
We have another infestation again. Could you get the building superintendent to call for another exterminator? I think I feel a bit faint from so much excitement.
What are you talking about fellow Ork Bretheren? I'm an Ork as well. Surely you should go ask the actual 'humies' if you seek such an answer. Surely my Green Carapace Armor and Red Bandana are 'dead killy' as we orks say, yes?
>Next you'll be shopping tits onto a Carnifex.
Closest I've got...
I rather like GreenMarine. He's our kind of scum.
>Wut da zog is dat? Wut is dose partz?
VERY IMPORTANT PARTS FOR CRUMPING!
Resilient, resourceful, surprisingly cunning given the lack of general intelligence. Anyone who underestimates them as primitives are likely to meet their end at greenskin hands, however long it may take.
Of the Xenos out there, at least they give the Guardsmen something to fight for without strings attached.
If wecould figure out how to use their destructive potential for our good means...
How about we take all of the Orks, and push them into the warp, where they can have WAAAGH!s against the demons of the warp for ever? The chaos gods would have to take care of the Orks, and the Orks would take care of themselves.
There are warpy orks, but they're pretty rare because orks are quick to notice and eliminate chaos taint within their ranks. Orks can instinctively tell if their fellows are acting "un-orky", and move swiftly to destroy deviants. Some text said it was as if every ork was an inquisitor.
Also, IIRC there are khornate orks somewhere in the warp. So they're not immune, but it's difficult to win groups of orks over to chaos. Leaving them in the warp for long enough sounds like a recipe for disaster though.
This must be what heaven is like. No matter how hard they fight, no matter how many enemies they slay, there will always be another day to slaughter more and outdo your bloody records.
Inferior to Orcs.
No true son of Gork would use technology.
Pic related for the original story. The relocation to Khorne's realm was first added by the 6E Daemons codex:
>None embody this unsettling truth more than the hordes of greenskins that fight within sight of the Fortress of Khorne. The original Ork invaders attracted the gaze of the Blood God when they plunged headlong into the Eye of Terror in search of fresh carnage. Their dangerously unhinged warlord, the self-styled Daemon-Killa, had already made his mark upon the Eye by bringing battle to several half-real planets devoted to Khorne’s rivals. The Ork warlord proved unstoppable until his Waaagh! crash-landed on a flesh planet belonging to a mighty Daemon Prince high in the standing of Khorne. The warboss’ vast horde was eventually slain to an Ork by the wrathful Daemon Prince and his minions, but his joy in the murderous spectacle was such that Khorne himself ensured the greenskin crusade rose once more the very next dawn.
>History repeated itself over and over again as the Orks fought tooth and nail, never once showing signs of surrender or despair. The Blood God was so impressed by their limitless battlelust that he took the Orks into his own domain. In the shadow of the Brass Citadel, his elite Bloodletter generals battle against the Daemon-Killa’s undying horde on a daily basis. Each cycle, great clouds of fungal spores are released by the dying Greenskins to take root and flourish in the bloodstained foothills of the Osseous Peaks. Yet more Orks are born, grow to maturity, and charge into battle once more. Such endless cycles of bloodshed are most pleasing to the Blood God. After all, the one true constant in the galaxy is that of endless war – Khorne himself has made sure of it.
