No you can't, they all contribute to the arcs in a way. King really isn't involved in any fights, and if he wasn't in the story at all pretty much nothing would change, unless you count the seducing Fubuki Arc, where he played a crucial role in the secret plan to get Fubuki to crave the One Thrust Man

It was one of the side chapters Fubuki challenges Caped Baldy to some sort of contest, so he grabs his friends vs her crew. It's a video game contest because she knows who he hangs out with and would have stood no chance in pretty much any field, except King is an expert gamer and spoils the plan

I want so badly for King to actually have a moment when everyone finds out his secret during a battle with some impossible monster. It goes in for the attack and hits him only to awaken his power then him becoming on of the strongest characters in the series.
