If you see a demon traveling on the road, are you well within your rights to kill it on sight?
Are demons unholy abominations who represent literal evil, or are they simply a naturally occurring sentient species capable of any range of morality and free will?
Shitpost less, please.
Neutral is not Good either, for that matter. There are a number of ways that a Neutral- or Good-aligned entity may appear as Evil to a Detect Evil spell, making this 'Lothas'' claim of being LG suspect.
...well that's one dead tiefling right here.
Am I going to Fall because of this? Hmm. I don't feel any less smitey, for that matter. But maybe I will should I fail to fulfill his dying wish? Or will I? Dammit. Shouldn't have slept through the Absolute Oaths lecture. That's Professor getting to me from beyond the grave.
Ssscheisse! Where am I going to get that abomination a firstborn? Bah. And HOW do you exactly make one?
Hey, tiefling! You sure dead? How do I make a firstborn?!
Wanted to put a demon in my game who gave up the torture and suffering of the Abyss for the simple life of a farmer.
Not sure how to do it without being weird though. Or at least weird in a not bad way.
The thumbnail made me think that was a catgirl reloading a shotgun. And then I was disappointed.
In my scenario there's a sovereign trade city in which killing others is expressly forbidden regardless of their allignment.
It is really funny to see the paladin rage when his detect evil goes wild and amongst other evil creatures he finds the bbeg shopping for components for his world altering ritual in one of the shadier shops and getting roflstomped by the fully buffed and magically equipped local guard when he so much as attempts to raise his holy symbol in the general direction of the evil creatures, much to the amusement of the evil creatures around.
>world altering ritual
>roflstomped fully buffed and magically equipped local guard
Yeaaah. With this kind of "local guard", I don't think that world needs any saving. Or adventurers.
The place is fairly unique in the scenario, its a flying city that exists in multiple planes ruled by a neutral capitalism inclined epic level wizard who's probably the single most powerful creature in the world but don't really give a damn about whether some cult will make this specific plane have eternal night or rain acid blood and spawn demons, for him it's all the same.
>epic level wizard who's probably the single most powerful creature in the world
It's basically exactly the same.
Plus unless you're party screws up really, and I mean REALLY, fucking badly, the Lady of Pain is never going to be an issue.
