/tk17/ The Klub 17 General

So I've been thinking that there needs to be an HD starter version. Something that uses the newer and better textures that are available from all over. I actually started a fresh install on my own where I'm not putting any shitty megapacks or uncategorized poses.

Maybe it's something that can be released along with hook4 when it is out. But I'd enjoy it if people would contribute and collaborate on making something like this happen. Recommend stuff etc.

Does this sound like something people'd be interested in?

Do you want HD good textures or just good textures? Because HD ones requires clunky ass 4x enabler mod. It needs some understanding of how textures works in game. Newfags would get their head blown by it and would spam questions why their older body textures don't work, why stockings are shrunk or why sliders are 10 times slower.

There's a mod on the Garden that converts gloves meant for female characters and allows males to wear them. And some mens-only bras if that's your thing.

Beyond that men don't get much support. There's some bumpmaps for abs and a couple of dick textures floating around here and there but beyond unisex hair and the thread for specific male clothing you're not gonna get a whole lot.

Sometimes a model doesn't change expressions in Freemode, like if I put on the default sex animations their face just sort of stares blankly without changing emotions or opening their mouth. Anyone know what could be causing this?

I don't use custom bodies but if I had to hazard a guess that'd be the problem. Some poses that are made simply don't have the option to alter expressions however. You'd have to enter PoseEdit mode, load up that particular pose, enable that option and then save it.

At this point I've dicked with reinstalling so many times I just broke down and made a backup copy for when I ineveitably breaks. Has applied update, Test5a (with default main) default/unenabled SweetFX, and JSGE with MODS folder with script enablers and etc.

I think an edition like this should be available and linked in OP, because it took me a week or more to get this all figured out and tracked down across MG, that place is seriously wacky. It's like navigating a russian ghetto looking for a prostitute that won't steal your kidneys.

I also think we need more sharing of mains and sweetFXs, everyone get your best screenshot and tape it to a copy, lets start compiling.

I'm shit at coding, so I'm not much help over at the garden, but I live to organize, so lets get OCD on this bitch and get all the necessary shit in one place.

JSGE is used as a modloader, but it's essential purpose is just temporarily copying a folder somewhere, yeah?


What if you put all your different favorite binaries folders, or just your favorite Main.fx + SweetFX suites, under a proper directory into the MODS folder.

Then delete your actual Binaries folder, and you essentially load in whatever version of the game you feel like playing.

Someone made a "best-of" compilation on MG from the megapack poses and named it "Lite" posepack. I can share my own at some point, I went through it a while back to speed up loading. Of course what poses are "good" is always subjective.

Must be bump maps. I sculptured GE's model in blender a little bit just to see if i can give it the desired look.
Since this game has weird model bending and i wasn't exactly precise with modelling some parts may look weird.

Made a Demon-Boy after 30 minutes of ripping apart decent models/playing with the facial settings until I got what I wanted.

Just a friendly tip, the game subdivides the body mesh in-game as well as smooths the vertexes. To get a good feel of what it should look like, subdivide the mesh in Blender then use smooth vertex, you will get a much closer appearance to what it will actually look like. (Do not export after you subdivide)

When you download new bra - you download only a texture.
This texture is being applied to a mesh that has been modeled to fit default body mesh.
IF you have a body mesh which was drastically modified in shape and size in Blender or other 3D editing programm you will need to change cloth meshes to fit the body.

The thing with the body mods is that you can only use one at a time? That's a huge hassle. There's the mod which adds the different body types in the model selection list, and I even have it, but I can't get it to work. When I copy a model to the body I picked from the list, it's just vanilla, not a different body type. Dunno what's the problem there.

Yeah, I don't even know how that mod works beyond that when you select a model, right? The game loads whatever bodymod you selected to go with it subsequently kills whatever facemod you have active. If you're not using GE or any of the other interesting facemods on Modsgarden and sticking solely with the vanilla head mesh then, hey, more power to you. But in my eyes it isn't the best of tradeoffs.

I have GE body- and facemods I use. The head mods for both men and women are excellent. The body mod is old but it still suits my general purposes well. Usually, if I want a more skinnier girl or a woman with wider hips, I just play with the sliders rather than load up different body mods all the time.

That different body types mod sounds great on paper, but like I said I never got it working right. If someone knows how, please do a small guide on exactly what to do and what you need.

I'm no tech wizard, most of time I download stuff and go "oh, my game changed" and when I want to replicate the process or someone asks what mods are you using, I say "I have no idea".

And yes there is a more suitable hair for Cammy, but I hate how it clips. It looks almost good from this angle...

There's another beret on Modsgarden in the Hair Addons. With the new mod that allows for hats to actually sit on hair without clipping there shouldn't be any issues. I think.

I'd change that skin up, too, but that's more a personal niche than anything else. I find flushed cheeks an unattractive feature in pale women. And that skin has freckles while Cammy doesn't have freckles. The 'tism is strong in me.

The mod is still a bit limited in that you can't mix face mods and body mods. The way you are supposed to use it is you clone a body or a face from the list in game and create your new model based on that. That way you get a new character with that body/face. I find it best to have the GE face replacer mod as well, that way all the cloned body mods I use at least have that face.

If you're trying to put a new body on an existing character that's some whole other rigmarole.

In a perfect world, you could just pick the body type for your model from a list... but I guess the engine's limitations come to play here.

There is a body preset in Save folder.
Textures are 4x so if you don't have 4x mod installed you will need to resize them. Just don't resize bump maps.
Most of clothes won't be compatible for now and i'm having some trouble making replacers. Meshes come out somewhat broken.

Cookie has been a tough one. I'm still trying different bodymods so I find one that is more compatible with clothes and is attractive. Some were too bony, others clipped with everything (specially on her pussy, lots of puffy vaginas around).

Working on some models and pose projects. What would you guys say aare the most needed things in the community? Anything out there we're lacking?

Im currently working on adjusting and creating poses for height ddifferences, med to short, tall to short, etc. Would help for midgets, goblins, gnomes dwarfs and lolis. Also trying to figure out how to make a proper chubby/bbw, think ill need to make a new body from scratch, the best i can get with current mods is amazon type husky.

Yeah, apparently Black Desert sees daily maintenance as well. I wait eagerly for localization but greater korean MMO's have promised the same thing and either have yet to deliver or have shutdown before it could happen.

Black Desert devs still have to dedicate resources to making up team, translating content (there's tons of stuff), leasing and setting up offices in NA/EU and they're still busy with the Korean version since it's OBT. There's maintenance every day or so.

Quick questions. When a model is preloaded with something, like a unique pussy or headskin, how do I go about changing that?

Some pussies that come with models are great, like Amazon or Milf pack, but they always color improperly with different skins, and some are just fucked up. The Lolita models in fact have their pussy texture on backward, placing their butthole just beneath their belly button. I have no idea where to begin trying to fix these problems, as all I can find editable in model folders are moonruned .txt files.

loli models that use a shemale base have textures that are shemale_white_genital.png, if the texture is fucked up on loli models its because you have a penis texture for that file instead of a vagina. rename the vagina texture to shemale_white_genital.png and it will fix your problem.

As far as I can tell, the model is not actively linked to any files in my activemod folder. In fact, even after temporarily removing every file in activemod this issue still occurs.

Trying to make Dwarf, Gnome and Goblins, and the closest I've been able to come is making the bodies max size so I have more room to reduce parts, then using a mod to shrink the whole body down, but it's a poor fix.

Finally got it working. Bitdefender was actually the problem. I had to uninstall that piece of shit to get it working. If garden's (and forums in general) search function wasn't so fucking awful i would have found the thread with the solution sooner.
