You can train for team work and understanding, but generally yes, your team plays better when your players are used to the tactic, so while you want to train several tactics to keep your options up, plugging in 11 new players every time will lower your team's understanding of the tactic. So you can't just sell 11 players, then buy 11 more and expect the same level of performance.

And Leicester doesn't need extra money, they like any other team in the league absurd amounts of money from Premier League TV rights.

Even thats weird though, because they don't make much more at PSG than they would at other clubs. Also their merchandising probably takes a hit because nobody watches them anymore. These guys essentially destroy their own legacy for an extra 50 or 60k a week, which is peanuts for them.

Depends of your formation. I did go through seasons with 20 players, but even then I was playing a 3-4-3 Diamond, so I didn't double up the MCs nor the DCs (3 MCs instead of 4 and 5 DCs instead of 6). In other words, I still had options even if I had an injury in these positions, worst case being one of the two DMs going up or one of the two AMCs dropping down.

With a more traditional 4 at the back formation, you don't strictly need to double up the wingers if one or two of them can play somewhat decently on either side.

Everything will be easier once you have a tactic that is familiar to your players. So decide on a tactic the first thing you do and then max out on training that and don't change anything until it becomes familiar. Then you can use another spot if you want to change something. Don't play another tactic if it isn't relatively familiar.
Don't buy too many players at once and try to have everyones morale maxed out. With morale and tactical familiarity maxed out you will play decently with Arsenals players even if you make stupid tactical mistakes and no matter what the system is
