The Heat's bench was fucked as well, when James Jones, Chris Anderson and fucking Joel Anthony get minutes, you can't even say that what Lebron did was anything near that.

If you also want to look at some 4D chess, Lebron was never going to make it alone and by leaving, they secured, Kyrie, Tristan and Wiggins all to be utilised in creating a real team in some point during the future. Lebron was always going to come back, he just went on Holiday, I doubt Durant will go back. He's a mercenary now.

I have lived in the bay area my entire life. I can tell you, firsthand, that while the warriors fanbase has always been diehard, it was just like the Oakland A's who play in their parking lot: A very very small fanbase.

Pre-2014, you would rarely see anyone with any sort of warriors gear. Shirts, jerseys, hats, backpacks, NEVER anything. Post 2014, every 3rd-4th person you see in public has warriors gear on. i swear, before 2014 you would see oakland athletics gear in the bay area more often than warriors

And its funny because they changed their logo and color scheme right before they became really good, and i can count on one hand the number of times i have seen someone wearing old color scheme./logo gear from when they sucked. Out of thousands of people, literally less than 5.

its ironic because the 49ers also changed their color scheme in around 2009 from god awful burgundy back to their 80s bright red and they became good for 3-4 years after that. however, i would see people wearing burgundy jerseys during their good years of jj stokes, terrell owens, jeff garcia, kevan barlow, frank gore, patrick willis, so people were still supporting the niners even in the bad burgundy years

Scott Brooks was just a different version of Vinny Del Negro. This desu. The heat had so many scrubs. They couldn't score like the warriors and it was more or less great defense and timely three point shots that got them those two titles. At least the heat had to work while the warriors are looking like they may just steam roll. Haven't seen that in a while.

Europe has only one major sport in soccer and their leagues are all just giant pyramids. There's no competition between the premier league and the Championship because the Championship is the just a feeder league for the EPL.

And there's no competition between La Liga and the EPL because their teams compete directly against each other in the Champions League.

the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB all have to compete against each other for fans in their respective cities, states, and the nation.
