I tell my CWBs to sit wider and run wide with ball and my wingers to cut inside and sit narrower. My CWBs look for overlap and I end up filling the opposite side of the fields with my players. Also I have 2 CF(a)s so they either score goals or give assists.
In the end CWBs stay wide to cross it in to the CF and he either score or give it to the winger to score, I'd say that's a classic play of my teams.

looks ok. with wingers and CMs like that you're going to be a bit open though (wingers do virtually no defending, an RPM will charge around a lot and end up out of position), so you might want that DLP-s to be a DLP-d or CM-d.

I don't know anything about most of those players so I'll just assume those roles fit their attributes

also bear in mind that with the "counter" mentality, the team instructions you have there (more direct passing etc.) are overridden when you go into "counterattack mode," at which point your players will rush forward, play at a high tempo, use direct passes, etc. no matter what you've told them to do.
those instructions only really do anything when your opponents have the ball or when you have the ball but no chance to counter - so if you wanted, you could your team up to play simple passes and retain possession when there isn't an obvious chance to break
I don't know if that's a good idea, maybe your layers don't suit that kind of play, but it can help slow the game down and give your defenders a break if you're up against superior opponents
