Anyone who plays in any form of European fixture gets a big rep boost and becomes easy to sell.

On my iceland save I got nearly a million for a shit CB because he was young and played well in a Europa qualifier. That doesn't seem like much but nobody in that league is worth anything yet the european experience got interest.
