I usually use CM(D) paired with a DLP(S) but it's so hard to find players with full green circle for the role.

I'll stop here. The issue is that what you call "long" isn't what I call long. What I call rather long is what I'm doing: winning the CL in Slovenia. In FM15 it took me at least 8 seasons (2014-2022), and considering I manage in Slovenia it's very, very fast to win the CL in 8 seasons. Currently in FM17 I'm not even close to that after 7 seasons unless I win it right now. Meanwhile, you don't seem to be able to keep your motivation for more than 2 to 4 seasons tops.

The issue is having old enough players to tutor the younger ones, and overall having good personalities. Sometimes (if not often) you have to pass on players with good potential because they have a shitty personality and you can't tutor them. That's the biggest issue. But outside of that, if they're good enough with a good personality, I don't care. Their wages tend to be slightly lower than comparable older players.

Someone suited to every midfield role? if so thats because they are pretty rare in footy anyways as you need to be physically, mentally and technically efficient in most areas.
