1st place: USA
runner ups: Argentina
Third Place: Perú
>mostly South American teams
Yea yea, hosted on American soil. But this tournament has "Copa" written all over it.
We wont even pass the group stage. We were decent in the mid 2000s and reached our peak in 2010 when we had most of our players in starting positions in europe but now our team is a shit fest of overpaid MLelS primadonnas and we even have fucking Championship/Bundes 2 shitters start on the team occassionally. Not to mention our "best" young striker is a collelge kid and the rest of our promising youth (Pulisic, Rubin, Lederman, Zelalem, Carter Vickers, Hyndman) are too fucking young/not given a chance.
I wish I can skip forward 10 years from now. Our team should be genuinely good enough then once we kick out the Krautsmann and the currynigger running our federation
I think Messi will take it seriously because he wants to win at least something with Argentina in the mean time. Not to mention they will still be world cup contenders once Pastore and Dybala mature + the AFA stops fucking around and hires a good coach
>tfw that currynigger is my cousin
wish i could talk some sense into him 2bh. Albeit, I think Jurgen is way too Eurocentric. I feel like Ethan Finlay and the likes need to be given more chances, rather than fucking Chandler and other German shitbags.
Brazil, Argentina and maybe even Chile will certainly send their B-squads because most players won't want to play 5 international competitions in 4 consecutive years during the players' holidays (2014 WC, 2015 CA, 2016 CA, 2017 CCup, 2018 WC), and the clubs themselves won't want them to go.
Not to mention the fact that only the 2015 CA secured a spot for the 2017 Conf.Cup. The 2016 one doesn't.
Nah man, this has B-team written all over it.
Oh, and Brazil still cares for olympic gold far more than CA, so I'm sure we'll probably see Neymar/maybe T.Silva there instead.
Chile will be playing the Confed Cup as winners of CONMEBOL, they probably will.
Argentina and Brazil, likely as well.
The others, I don't know. Maybe Mexico, since they played the Gold Cup last year and will be playing the Conf. Cup as winners of CONCACAF.
Only mejico and usa are taking this shit seriously lmao
The real copa america was last year and the next is in 2019
This edition is a bullshit money grabber where the good teams will send their b-sides
I know it wont happen, as chilebro has kindly written
but I want all teams to send their A teams. I mean come on, 6 Concacaf and 10 Conmebol teams duking it out? on American soil? sounds great honestly
one can hope
Ok I'll give you that Howard, but nothing else because Lando and Boca are both retired. Also I'm not trying to make fun of non-Americans. I'm trying to poke fun at shit and irrelevant our team is.
I can name a few
>Forlan (no shit)
>That black guy who got a concussion in the 2014 world cup
Good lad. Also if you think Brooks is shit then check how bad our other defenders are
Mexico's u-23 is rather strong by itself, we got Hirving Lozano, Jesse Gonzalez, the GK from qualifiers, Arturo Gonzalez, Pizarro, Lopez, they can hold their own but not to win the gold by themselves.
>>64851684 Mexico to semis is pretty realistic tbf
2bh they're exaggerating a little. It's not a sure thing. There's a chance every country sends its A team (except for Neymar probably for the olympics)
Uruguay surely will send its A team at least.
>not trying to make fun of non-americans
I know m8, I was just curious
>that black who got a concussion in the 2014 world cup
kek, he's also "Pereira"
There is no reason to be upset gabacho
>>implying JORDAN MOTHERFUCKING MORRIS won't score at will against every opponent
also, when will they seed/draw this thing
Pretty much everyone knows him
I remember people making fun of him after the 2-2 against Poortugal
Remember him from the WC
WC, also watched some MLS game and the guy was playing.
I also remember Rimando from the friendly game that the USA played against Chile.
>messi winning best in world cup when he was utter shite, scoring 0 outside group stage and having a SHIT group stage
>messi winning best in copa, when he was a ghost
1-800-come on now
forreal Vela is prema-injured
>Tfw this trio would've been overpowered if vela was still prime
Hasn't he already signed for a Bunesliga team?
What have you done OP?
Implying you're going to win it.
>USA CAN'T BEAT CHILEL C TEAM
>chileans wants the confederation cup more
To be fair, the typical chilean only wants to see the NT playing, they probably don't know the difference between this tournament, the normal Copa America or the Confederations. Chileans "fans" are extremely casual about football.

lol no, see adn radio and his audience
Gracias amigo. Anymore Peruvi/a/ns in America?
Cameron would be good if he can replicate his Premier league form.
Ream... Ream is a shitty meme. He plays in a midtable Championshit team for a reason.
Yedlin is an even worse defender but occassionally does ok with man marking. He needs to be played on the wing with someone covering him.
>this kid has done fuckall other than score a meme goal against a shit Mexico team and now has the likes of the Soundcuks vying for his signature + he runs sanic fast
We're fucked for the next world cup
too bad corinthians sold almost all their good players, still think it will be a strong match but not enough.
the problem with Atletico is their fans support the club too much, like they never criticize coach/club actions.
I think Messi would ragequit the NT if that happened.
I'll repeat what I said in another thread a couple weeks back.
I'll pretend not to care about this tournament as we destroy some CONCACAF shitter. It will be a meme cup, a shit pity trophy, a meaningless competition.
However, as soon as we play one single game badly, I'll be mad. Also, when we reach the final, I'll definitely care, a lot.
But, of course, our players will get magically injured, higuaín will >higuain and we will probably lose the final in some spectacularly stupid manner, even if it is against some shit team like Guatemala.
Mexico can probably beat some of the conmebol teams, in particular Bolivia and Venezuela. Colombia can either choke or play really well, Uruguay does not do well against lesser sides, and Brazil is kind of a mess atm. Chile is good, but not that much, Paraguay and Ecuador are solid, Argentina will probably steamroll everyone until we get to the final.
Uruguay already plays like that without Suarez. Look at the goals they scored against Chile a couple months back.
>why does that happen?
Not sure, but it isn't rare to see teams that are very good at taking control of matches and very good at moving the ball around lose because they lack clutch.
mexico vs argentina
brazil vs uruguay
we get cucked again
uruguay beats brazil
hat trick from messi in the final
hat trick from luisito
luisito bites masche
higuain chokes again
godin wins it with a header
Do sudacas think they have a chance?
We are on home soil, this is on lock.
Mexico is a solid bet IMO, not among the favourites but with a very high chance of winning the tournament due to playing as a local, using a team full of starters and having lots of players in very good form and playing for decent teams in Europe
Also the new Manager seems to be doing good with them
>no Confed Cup
>Rat King back
we going in dry lads
Chile won't. But its probably because we already won it last year. It will be difficult because we already had the WC (2 years ago), the Copa America (1 year ago) and this one will mean the players will have a lot of risk of injuries, but I'm pretty sure the most important players like Messi, the Rat and nerman will go.
can someone tell me what is the point of this competition other than a quick cashgrab? Most of the South American countries don't give a shit about this. The only ones that are taking this seriously are the mexcrements.
suarez is confirmed too, cant find the sauce.
nerman is in doubt because he will be playing in rio
The US needs to prove to their investors that football is lucrative, so after they get green numbers, everything goes as planned, i.e. no corruption from FIFA officials, no.bombings, mass shootings and high ratings, then it would prove that they can organize once again a World Cup or any other major event and swim in cash.
They could even change MLS season so it could fit CONMEBOL schedule, mixing the tournaments, easing players transfers and making Copa América a whole continent event and not just south América + invites
