Sign Upton and trade Anderson + some shitters for Tyson Ross and they can basically hand >us the trophy desu
also still looking at that easy ruben tejada trade
>casuals joke about small market teams not having fans
>they don't realize it's literally the comfiest way to watch a ballgame
Enjoy having people who only cheer when others do, kek
>>implying you've even been to safeco
t-the bully is strong in this one ;_;
Actual comfy stadium coming thru
>never too crowded because no one goes to games
>no drunk, obnoxious, loudmouthed casuals that don't pay attention
>can move up as close as I can get thus guaranteeing me a good seat
>air conditioned, never too hot or too cold
>can bring my tasty Publix™ sub inside with me
>that awesome feel when enjoying cheap, comfy baseball
>not being from the based northeast where both hockey and baseball are relevant
>Implying anyone actually goes to Camden
Plus, you know, everything up on the outfield promenade. Because they actually have things to look at up there unlike 20+ of the other parks.
AT&T doesn't use mow pattern gimmicks, and they are booked all the time for concerts and other sports events around the year, so you can't compare the grass to dead zone parks with mow patterns that look like an '80s hip hop movie hairstyle.
Also, while we're on the topic of stadiums, Citi is pretty nice tbqh.
You now remember 2012 All-Star 1B Bryan LaHair.
This is actually a pretty good list
I think Kauffman would probably be the best if it wasn't so displaced from all the hotels/shopping/nightlife
If you want to come see a Royals game you have to stay at least 15-20 minutes away from the place
>Chris Capuano was a NL All-Star in 2006
>yfw he becomes better than Price
I never wanted someone to succeed more than this cheeky manlet
So I just came across this gem from last season.
>Dolan says some of the season ticket holders posted that they'd rather not attend a Pride themed game
The fucking Rebbit butthurt is glorious.
Based season ticket holders.
I really only lurk it for news seeing as how there's tons of A's fans on /sp/, I'm not going to follow 10+ twitter accounts.
I've never even made an account.
Stay obsessed with my posts though, senpai.
I'll be thinking about you everytime I post.
why are you so upset?
did some A'sbro fuck your boyfriend?
>yfw Bonds never officially retired
>yfw he starts taking his "special medicine" again
>yfw he comes back as a DH and reaches 800
think of it, a couple years from now he'll be a free agent
and if he's still on track then some shitty AL team that needs to sell tickets can sign him for a couple years and DH him as he approaches baseball history
Honestly, I hope not. Tex had a good season but he's getting old and I can't imagine him playing like he did again. Plus they have players they can bring up. I really like Tex and everybody in NY loves him but I think he's gonna be expensive. I really hope he can have a year like he did last season.
>yfw technology is developed that allows you to test a corpse for whether the person ever used a PED in their lifetime and the BBWAA digs up every dead HOFer so they can remove everyone out of the Hall as necessary to maintain the integrity of the game
>yfw the clean MLB career home run record isn't 762, it's 62
>tfw have shit to do but procrastinating by looking up past season leader boards
did you know in 1998 there were 8 pitchers with ERAs < 3.00, half of those are hall of famers
most recent seasons have had 10-12, with the exception of 2014 which had a whopping 22
Harper vs Trout vs Frank Thomas, career-highs
BA: Frank Thomas
OBP: Frank Thomas
SLG: Frank Thomas
OPS: Frank Thomas
HR: Frank Thomas
BB: Frank Thomas
OPS+: Frank Thomas
wRC+: Frank Thomas
wOBA: Frank Thomas
So, what's your point?
kauffman is pretty sweet because of all the tailgating before and after.
Weird how it's so far away from everything, but but that makes in unique. Been to many stadiums, but it's the best/comfiest game day atmosphere before, during, and after.
Random /mlb/ question, but has anyone on there every bought season tickets?
I'm thinking about doing it this year because my will probably be at least competitive, I think.
Obviously there's no way I can make it to all 81 games, so I'd have to sell some/give them away.
Do you think you'd be able to at least make your money back on the unused tickets? I'm on the fence about season tickets because I don't just want to end up wasting a lot of money.
Anyone have any experience?
haven't but I've known people who have
If you do it right you can at least cut your costs enough so that you'd save money vs buying individual tickets for each game you go to
the real money comes if your team makes the playoffs, plus you get priority for buying stuff like spring training tickets
Thanks. I'm still on the fence about it.
Opening day here is going to run like $250 from stub hub or whatever, but with season tickets i can save that. That's what's making me consider it.
When a former player is hired as "special assistant to the GM," what exactly does that job entail?
Friendly reminder that 2015 AL "Rookie" of the ""Year"" Carlos Correa won based on hitting a handful more home runs while otherwise offering equal offensive performance and playing vastly inferior defense to Francisco Lindor, including committing a costly error that helped him eliminate his team from postseason contention. But it's ok, he hit a few more home runs at a defense-first position
desu ive watched them my whole life off and on, ive just now started to really watch. so you can say a few years
I took this while watching a giants vs podrace game this last year and thought it was really funny.
>yfw the mariners trade for veneble
i dont listen to macklemore desu
>have anything you want made into a webm?
Not really, but this could be a new dank meme desu
im so fucking hype to see him pitch. dude really wants to be a dodger
>tfw two of them have a good 1-2 punch and neither of them are the Doys
>the top three pitchers in MLB
>none of them won the cy young last year
>Arrieta has been consistently great throughout his career and didn't just have a fluke season
>Arrieta isn't a meme pitcher about to get TJS
Arrieta will suffer the second year beat down like most CY candidates have over the last 20 or so years. He'll have a winning season but the numbers will be weak. Just above .500 in W-L, an ERA that is a point or two higher, more hits and walks allowed. Then the "analysts" will all start the "well he's been figured out, I mean, he's got good stuff but now the hitters know what to look for from where he is in his delivery and release point down to how much he uses his fastball early in the count", and "well, obviously he's taken a big step back but it's really not him so much as it is X and Y".
>except for all those times we sucked, look how good we were!
>one strike away
>all Texas ALCS
>Yu "exploding elbows" Darvish literally can't get 27 outs despite being your best pitcher
>Giants won't be world champs again until the end of the year
>NL West literally has the top three pitchers in MLB
Fangraphs projects us to go 84-78. That's WC territory, but it's AL so there will be a lot of teams contending for it.
The smartest idiot is still an idiot.
That is to say, the best hitting pitcher still sucks and should be nowhere near a HR derby, and you've been brainwashed by memes if you think otherwise
Can someone dump pissboi screencaps
Go ahead, put a pitcher in the derby meant for people who actually hit home runs. Put Craig Counsell and David Eckstein in too, they have about as much power as the best hitting pitcher. The derby is already a joke anyway, and I like your idea to kill it off for good
All memes aside Dodgers, Giants, and Diamondbacks are basically guaranteed to make up the top three
Rockies are gonna be a joke cause of their meme stadium that wards off pitchers just like DG wards off piss loving women
Preller ruined the Dads chances of being competitive any time soon
kek ill have to watch it
pls anon this is me
>I say every good pitcher will have Tommy John because I believe I know how pitching mechanics work
That girl is pretty cute pham, please tell me you smashed
>Gordon was the only player to finish in the top three in all three categories (ARM, DRS, UZR) from 2012-2015
>I assume everyone is a Shitattle fan
>I am an angry shitattle fan pretending to not be one so my shitty team won't be ridiculed any longer
>I am a secret shitattle resident and frequent reddit so i'll throw them off my trail by calling everyone else a redditor from shitattle
>>I post my wife's daughter on the internet
lets see her
I use the word literally in caps lock to make a point but i'm totally not from reddit
>I still claim to not be a shittle redditor by defending them in more than one post
>I believe he's defending shitattle redditors
>not going to your favorite team's fedora night and getting yourself a fresh new hat
>I have a husbando
>Being so low test that you don't have a husbando
Got about 5-6 more, how long you wanna do this?
im watching football so i got a while
>I unironically watch amateur handegg
Oh but you're from shitattle
>I unironically call soccer ""football""
>tfw your team is finally having a Fedora night
At least we're hopping on this awful trend because Reddit made it popular, unlike the West Coasters who unironically founded and pushed its popularity
I've already been deceived once by your filenames, not sure if I can trust you here....
Not a fan of latinas I see, how about chinks?
I wouldn't admit to it in Shitattle.
Oh and here's another girl for your collection
>6 months till short season baseball
rare pepe 4 u
>all these out of state Yankees """""fans"""""
kek this shitattle faggot is more of a fan than you and he's never even been to safeco
>lost their consistent ace
>Have real shitty all or nothing hitting that can't adapt to pitchers who figure them out
>Pitching staff is complete garbage minus Kershaw who is most likely to get hurt this year.
Worst team of the three is denying the broship, funny 2bh
I'm a huge fan of the Dodgers but I am also honest with what I am seeing. By the way, I have correctly predicted every single one of their failures and even predicted Greinke going to the Diamondbacks, so yeah I am pretty good at this.
>mad at being jilted by memeiners
