>manning snaps his neck in two pieces, goes on season-ending IR to fuse his vertebrae back together
>comes back to lead broncos to record setting seasons and super bowl appearance
>manning could only ever manage at most 49 TDs in a season his entire career, but now after he snaps his neck in half, is old as fuck and has no feeling left in his fingers he miraculously throws for an all-time NFL record 55
>also sets all-time season passing yardage record, wins comeback player of the year award and league MVP
>very next year he reverts into a jelly-armed, hobbling old man with dementia
>worst passer rating in the league, more INTs than TDs, throws nothing but ducks, benched for season after throwing 4 picks in a half
"no way he was on PEDs. and even if he was, its no big deal cause everyone does it. who cares anyway it was the off season. this is a non-issue why do people keep talking about it."
i agree i couldn't make sense of his rapid statistical decline it all makes sense now tho even if they can't prove it this kinda thing happens all the time it's kinda dumb we as society just keep punishing notable figures instead of coming to some kind of relevant modern conclusion on these things. peds are here to stay is the best thing to do to just keep punishing people for it while every game is perpetually affected by their use forever?
Personally I don't even care and sorta feel a little bad for Manning, but it's worth it to me to see the blatant hypocrisy in the media between how they covered the Brady "scandal" and how they're covering this. It will be fun seeing how Goodell handles this.
>"brady" "deflates" balls
>his stats go down until they are properly inflated
>manning"'s wife" takes HGH
>stats skyrocket up until the cycle wears off then falls off a cliff
where is the media? what the fuck are they doing? when it was deflategate the misinformation was spread against brady, when its an HGH scandal they attack, discredit, and misreport the source
>PEDs make you smarter and help you read defenses
Nice meme. At this point the quarterback position isn't even based on athleticism but mostly intelligence. Just look at Brady, can't even throw the ball down the field but has the experience to understand how to exploit defenses and use the talent he has to win.
He's being run out of town. Elway just wants him to go away and this story is just a little too perfectly timed.
did you watch the al jazeera documentary? pretty damning. especially considering this is a well-respected news outlet and award winning journalist reporting the story, as opposed to lying, biased tweets from nfl employees and espn like in the brady thing last year when he was raked over the coals immediately by every news and entertainment outlet in the country, including the nfl and its commissioner itself..
>start season as the worst QB in the NFL statistically
>team sticks with you through gritted teeth because you are a legend, though obviously far past your prime
>in the most embarassing fashion, throw like 50 yards and 4 picks to just barely set the passing record
>immediately benched for unknown young guy to end the misery
>soon after, cheating allegations
What a way to go out
