(FWBer advertising/feedback thread)
Hey guys, I made a free hookup site thing a while back to try and replace Craigslist. This is the developer, I'm not a bot or anything. I would like feedback and suggestions as to how to improve it at least from a functional standpoint. I'm not a very good web developer so it's kind of shit but it's the best I can do.
https://www.fwber.com
I figure I will just open source it and put it on GitHub or something.
So I guess the question is what is your ideal hookup site? Because I can probably change this to be whatever you guys want.
the perfect hookup site for me is where they deliver people to you door via drone or catapult for sexy times

No offense but it'll probably fill up to sausage fest, people pretending to be girls, and bots
My ideal hookup site would be like star trek where people can phase into beds for sex, then leave

Well first of all get your https shit together.
I ain't registering via http (to which the top banner directs btw) and on https form styles and captcha don't work.

Thanks I will fix this

It's semi-designed to dissuade bots but it's still possible so maybe. I got 700 signups so far and it's about 20% female or pretending to be female so that's not too terrible, but yeah.

fixed it thank you
So, I guess I'm just going to keep on maintaining a thread for this indefinitely and keep asking for suggestions. I feel like the site isn't exactly the correct approach yet but I'm not sure how to make it better.
Won't let me upload pictures?

fixed, thank you!

Dude do some unit, integration and e2e tests, if you're having problems with such basic functionality I don't wanna know what else is there.

I had just taken it offline for a while and moved it to a new server.
OK, I have uploaded the source to https://github.com/fwber/fwber
Or rather it is pushing, there are a lot of image files to push
I created an account, and reset the password because it wasn't taking mine, and it said that the account doesn't exist or isn't verified.

I'll check hold on
Tehlinks?
Oh, must be Casualacctcrgslst. There must be a bug in the password reset code, I'll check it out
>>25661693
Thanks dude
>>25661712
I sent a new password reset link, try it and see if it works.
>>25661736
Got the same error
Account does not exist or is not verified
>>25661746
Does that happen when you click the link in your email, or afterwards when you try to use the newly generated password?
Got it, it's because the email address is case sensitive, which was a dumb mistake on my part. Fixing it now, thank you!
>>25661770
Thank you!
>>25661787
OK I fixed it, thank you for finding that mistake you helped a lot :-)
>>25661847
Thank you. It works now.
