How about a Drinking Thread (that no one will probably join)?
Now Drinking: Wild Onion's Drago (Russian Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon barrels
I've been plenty of times, especially considering I work nights. So, 7 am for me is 12am to most. Though, you just up because of insomnia/depression?
I'll be sure to look for that when they get to my state then.
Now Drinking: Stone's Enjoy By 02.14.16 Unfiltered
Whoo! Let's revive the drinking thread. Is 4:50 too early for vodka?
Drinking this. Always a good go-to beer.
Nice, what did you think of it?
its an old pic. but. im doing 100% the same thing
Drinking this now. This is solid, gonna drink the other five with gusto over the weekend.
Spencer! Wadaaapp. Drinking Flying Dog and listening to Depeche Mode (dunno why but it feelz right)
Never too early. Also, are you from the Metal thread as well?
I thought it was pretty good, a fraternal twin to regular Enjoy By. Mostly the same, but with some slight differences.
Never seen that one before. What style is it?
You know, I once knew a girl who loved to party. One day, she snorted one whole PBR tallboy and now...now she's not the same anymore.
Hey! Not too much. Just got home not too long ago from work. How about yourself? Though, I gotta go pick up someone from the airport. So, I'll respond more when I get back.
Drinking this now, just to compare with the Americano. This one is nice too. Last bottle too, good thing it's year round!
Oh, that's good to hear. Sitting on a bomber of it right now. Gonna open it Sunday for the Superb Owl. Do you get Pizza Port stuff out in your area?
Also it's Stone's new seasonal imperial stout. Americano coffee stout, pretty heavy handed on the coffee but it's pretty darn good. I have a slight bias towards black coffee so maybe I'm not the best person to listen to.
oohh, it is Flying Dog! Raging Bitch is still sitting in my fridge, heh. This is Snake Dog. I would absolutely love to go to the brewery but I'm quite far from there. I'm just happy it's sold where I live (for some odd reason). Definitely one of mi favorite beers
ah! snake dog is so good. Although raging bitch is a bit better. Fuck I miss living near good beers
Drinking this. This isn't my pic btw. I was disappointed. It's not bad beer but I'm not sure if peanut butter should be in beer. It tastes really fake.
agreed..raging bitch is my favorite. where you living these days anon?
YES. I love that beer too!! I'm in PA but I'm actually quite far from Delaware and Maryland. I should stop there if I drive down south 4 the summer
Whoops. Took longer than expected as I went into my dad's place and petted my cat that I haven't seen in like a year (pic related; best pic I could get with the little guy ha). Anyhow, that's pretty cool you got the day off. Right now, I work at a pretty decent liquor store. But, I'm waiting to hear back from a local brewery to see if I get an interview to work there as a cellarperson. What do you do? Also, I can't remember if I asked before, but what's your name? I have a terrible memory sometimes. haha
Nah, Pizza Port unfortunately doesn't distribute out here, just like a lot of the good CA breweries (Bear Republic, Firestone Walker, Ballast Point, etc.).
Hm...that Stone sounds pretty interesting. What's the abv on it?
Hey, if it is, at least it's not some straight up BMC.
At least it's tasty commie beer
>work as a beer delivery helper
>discover Sam Adams Coldsnap while delivering on a suburb route
>hmm mite b cool
>as it happens Local Big Box store on a nearby corner stocks it
>over a month and some change drink two twelves and a six
>that cleaned them out, they got a new delivery on wed and I'm working on my 3rd twelve pack tonight
why is this beer so good?
Speak up, I can't hear you.
Bragging about Knob Creek?
You must be new to this whole drinking thing.
Shared a bottle of The Bruery's Chocolate Rain at work with a handful of people earlier tonight. This shit is delicious!
Now Drinking: Sierra Nevada's Harvest (Neomexicanus hops)
Me....attractive? I sincerely appreciate it, but I'll have to humbly disagree.
Top hair is blond, however my beard is sort of a mixture of blond and ginger (mostly blond, but it depends on the lighting).
18.5?! Jesus Christ
Who is this and why is it in every /soc/ thread?
Also, this is what I bought for tonight. Anyone ever had it? My first time trying
Whiskey is the devil and I'm a sinner.
Holee shet, Nevadanon?
Drinking that straight or what? You look like the person I should ask, what am I inking on myself tonight?
At my parent's place, so time for the beer of my youth.
Drunk as fuck! How you bud, life treating ya well?
I dunno about that stuff but India's are primo. Clean taste, or does it have a sting to it?
Seriously guys I need to tattoo something c'mon before I start this pizza.
Bitchin is good. I enjoy bitchin.
Eh, I've been worse. Can't complain too much.
Trying to get drunk and play rollercoaster tycoon like I'm 10 again but the computer's being fucky.
Liquor master race reporting in. Beer doesn't even get me drunk. I've never had a hangover in my life.
Made this while I was drunk on this type of thread and a music thread like months ago.
Ahh you've the new fangled version yeah? Ever play ZooTycoon with the dinos? Shit was moderately enjoyable by common standards.
Outclassing me really badly. Fuark.
I guess it's the new fangled one, I bought it on steam maybe a year ago. Seems like I kinda got ripped, I remember there being a lot more scenarios in the one I had as a kid, but whatever, everything seems cooler when you're a kid.
Never played ZooTycoon, though it sounds bitchin' too. Dinosaurs are the shit.
Yoooooo you gotta go to a thrift store or something and find the old CD for like XP for all the cool stuff. It was gutted and made into JewTycoon.
Dinosaurs are mad stuntin.
Here's a tardigrade.
an anus with little nergal hands d'oh.
Aw man, there's one where he's explaining that if you were to run around a tree and near light speed it might be possible to literally fuck yourself, but I can't find it.
>the future is now
I do love me some Cosmos though. Good shit. Where's everyone at tonight??
Where's everyone drinking from? Florida here
the fuck is Dixie? Alabama?
And I do enjoy black science man but you're right, Reddit has the biggest of boners for him.
I usually drink shit that's less pleb, but I saw this Guinness Nitro IPA at the store earlier and was curious how they'd done.
The answer is a resounding "meh." Nice texture, but barely tastes like an IPA. It actually reminds me a lot of a decent draft English beer like Old Speckled Hen, which isn't the worst thing on earth.
It's one of those sea-cumcumber plastic toys filled with water and shit that you can get at aquariums, but an anus.
Moon's a dick though.
Minnesota here, stupid accent and Winter-isolation-feuled-bloodlust and all.
Alabama's partner for ass-to-ass for the past 200 years
apologies that you have to live there.
Can I ask what the fuck goes on in Miss?
Fuck all nothing.
There's a reason we're so obsessed with the SEC. There's fuck all nothing else to do here.
Yelling at the moon for no reason seems like it would be really therapeutic
It really does, but make sure to do it with a calf and some stick bundles just in case anything cool goes down.
This thread should be so much better than it is. what the fuck guys
Having this one tonight. I'm enjoying their re-release stuff. Hopefully this makes it into their seasonal releases and isn't just a one off release.
I think it's 8%ish, considered a double stout iirc. It was deceptively easy to drink.
Definitely not as hoppy as the name implies but it's solid.
I had it too recently. It was more of a brown ale than an IPA to me.
Not a stout/Porter man myself but hope it's good.
And you're right, not as hoppy as it sounds like but I actually am loving the hop level. Can't tell its 9.7% AT ALL
Hey, I've got a question for you guys if you'll indulge me.
Is a high alcohol tolerance genetic?
I'm fairly new to drinking, so I can't really say much on my own, but my family has issues when it comes to alcohol. Practically every member of my father's side of the family with the exception of him and his parents were very heavy drinkers, and I think it might have to do with an oddly high tolerance to the effects of alcohol.
The first night I drank, I went through a good ~80% of a 750ml bottle of scotch in order to really feel it, and wasn't hungover the next morning. (I didn't drink any water or anything other than the scotch that night)
I'm relatively small in frame, and a little below average height, so it seems odd to me almost a whole bottle of hard liquor my first time drinking didn't severely impair me or give me a headache the next morning.
Am I making a big deal over nothing, or should I look out with this as a possible catalyst for my family history of alcoholism?
>Oh, and drinking that best damn rootbeer stuff tonight. Not bad, but truth be told it would be better without the alcohol. They really don't put enough in it to do anything more than make you have to pee.
Now Drinking: Crafted Artisan Meadery's Citra (Mead with citra hops)
At 12%, this was decent. Get an ok amount of citrus and a nice floral component. However, I definitely won't buy this again due to the price (too ashamed to say lol).
Well it does pretty much nothing. I wish they would have put a little more in there because it's not too bad. It would be nice if it did more than just make the next one taste a little better.
Now Drinking: Mother's MILF (Imperial Stout with cocoa nibs & raisins, aged in seven different barrels such as bourbon, rum, brandy, etc).
For an Imp. Stout aged in so many barrels, I expected a much more complex body. Still, this is pretty nice. Milk chocolate, bit of oak, vanilla, sherry, and more to it. Mmm....very interesting.
Drinking this shit ale because it's the only thing here.
Now Drinking: Toolbox's Autumn Bliss (good stuff)
Where is everyone???
So, you don't like beer at all. Yeah?
bumping with a pic of beers a friend and I drank last night.
Some cheap german beer but taste good and drinks easy. Carnival here drinking for 4 days in a row. Going out at 9 till 4 but first i want to drink another 6 pack
Yeah, I like Whiskey, vodka, and shit like that, but most of the beer I've had was shit. That Neapolitan shit, Bud Light, and Dos Equis is are the only beers that I've had. The Dos Equis was descent though. Better than the other two, in my opinion.
What are your thoughts on this year's crop?
Oh man, I've only heard terrible things about all of the Voodoo beers.
There are soooooo many styles of beer that you haven't even scratched the surface. What state do you live in? I can recommend some to you, if you want.
late night vibes...
screwdriver and a chillum
Now Drinking: Mikerphone's Nature's Candy (Berliner Weisse w/ peaches)
Now Drinking: Pipeworks' Ninja vs. Unicorn
Wait, you slammed down all five tonight? Damn, that's going to be a rough work shift.
I'm glad they put it in cans this year, which is a first.
All I think of when I see that beer.
Connected to wifi from data so I guess my code changed
For business? Sounds like that'd be pretty rad to do some traveling and such.
Colt 45 is actually not that bad. Did a blind taste test with a class that included that, Bud, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors, and a few others and the winner was C45, funnily enough.
Yeah, it was kind of a shitty morning.
ended up sleeping in a bit, came in two hours late hungover and spent the rest of the day depressed lol. At some point last night, I thought it was a good idea to down one of bottles of MILF I'm trying to age.
Hopslam definitely lived up to the hype, never got the chance to try it from the bottle tho.
If it weren't for this steady supply of whiskey I'd be six feet. Drinking, smoking, work, exercise, sleep, food, meditation, therapy, even reading now doesn't make all the spaces go away. It's like trying to fill a hole with hollow objects. I've been fighting cancer for half a decade, dealing with trauma that I can't remember and the mess it's made of my mind. I just want her to tell me I'm a good person one more time, that she loves me and she's here to stay. Haven't talked to her in almost two months, stayed sober the first month and almost died. I've had friends die, came to terms with mortality, been abused, lost a child to miscarriage, had some bad break ups, but as little as it should matter compared to all that, losing her did something more. I know turning to vices is weak, but it makes everything so cloudy I almost forget about it for a few minutes. It's the best thing for her, but it hurts so much. Sorry to bitch, just haven't talked about it to anyone in a while.
Drinking in the bathroom cause everyone's asleep
Ill reply later as I'm at a friends place. Figure I'll post to bump the thread till I get home.
In the meantime, had a saison aged in white wine barrels from a local brewery (Taxman). Good stuff, I tell you wHat.
Give em a couple o these and they'll sleep like potato.
hehe he's so cuuutee what's his (or her) name? I hope you get the cellar job, yo. I'm just a manager at a shitty chain for now. trying to go back to grad school this fall (someone pls accept me). don't have much of a name 'round these parts but call me whatever ya want
oh. hell. yes.
this thread is having a long life. I'll drink 2 dat
Oh shii- You got some MILF, which I assume you're there in STL?
IMO, it's better from the can. However, this is obviously after pouring into a glass.
Turning to vices, such as alcohol, isn't weak. It's only weak if it becomes an addiction and is something you can't live life without. You know? Feel free to continue on with everything. It doesn't bother me in the slightest if you lay down everything that's weighing heavily on you.
Thanks. Didn't figure something such as depression and the like would be readable through my eyes.
There could always be something genetic. Do you have any relatives that are/were known to be depressed? However, you're not the only person that has dealt with depression with alcohol. Trust me.
His name is Jack since we called him Jack in the Box when my dad brought him home from finding him at work years and years ago.
And thanks. I still have gotten any email from them. Might send another email, but I feel that it might be too odd to send another one.
Hey, at least you're a manager of something. From the little we've spoken to each other in these threads, you seem bright and smart enough to be accepted into any grad school.
Spencer is actually my real name, not some online presence or whatever. If you don't want to mention your own (which is fine, I understand), is there any that you'd want to go by?
Haha, yeah. This has got to be the longest running drinking thread I've ever created. And you like Electric Wizard too?!
And by the way...
Now Drinking: New Day's Breakfast Magpie (Black raspberry mead w/ coffee)
the other day I crashed my car against a kerb, then against some bushes, all after drinking 3 bottles of wine and a few shots of whiskey. So, I decided to stop drinking, and get a new car, of course. I am feeling SO DAMN HAPPY to be alive and unhurt and not have killed or damaged anyone. life doesn't usually give second chances, this I know.
Also, this for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrRbv-gPg7k because so much love runs through my veins everytime I see your face. I know, no flatter, etc...
Sharing some good beers with the coworker tonight.
Now Drinking: Funky Buddha's Maple Bacon Coffee Porter
Gat dang, its like liquified Waffle Crisp cereal with a bit of smokiness thrown in.
Drunk girls what are you thinking when texting a guy? A girl just texted me she was drunk af . I asked her if she had any plans and she said she was going to bed cause she has work. She want something from me or just drunk? I've received drunk texts with varying intent from other chicks so I'm always confused.
Now Drinking: Oddside Ales' Hipster Brunch (Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels with coffee, maple syrup, and bacon added)
Word. Yeah, I don't get the big kerfuffle over them doing cans. If anything, it's a smarter move to do that since they stay fresher longer. But, oh well..
I'm sure you get your fill of Perennial, Side Project, and 4 Hands every single day. ha
Now Drinking: 3 Pints' H.I.L.F. (Hefeweizen)
I have my own thread, but I'll post in this one anyway
>tfw about to finish my second bottle of wine
Whatever this is
Well not if it is Roofied
Now Drinking: New Day's Breakfast Magpie (Black raspberry mead w/ coffee)
Seeing as I only sleepy every other 28 hours, no. I feel your pain.
All beer taste like shit to be honest. Granted some worse than others but hey, it's better than some fruity cocktail
>all beer tastes like shit
you've clearly never had a Lagunitas beer
Damn. Is that because of your job or just insomnia of sorts or....?
>All beer taste like shit to be honest
There are over 90-100 styles of beer. Depending on your area, trying looking for these to taste:
Brewery - name of beer (style of beer)
-Weihenstephaner - Hefeweissbier (Hefeweizen)
-Pilsner Urquell (Czech Pilsner)
-Oskar Blues' IPA (IPA) - Be sure that it's pretty fresh, as in canned within the last two months
-Lindemans' Framboise ("Lambic" with raspberries) - Not a good representation of a lambic, but it's good as an introductory beer
-Left Hand's Milk Stout Nitro (Milk Stout)
-Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout (Milk Stout)
-Hoegaarden (Witbier aka Belgian Wheat)
-Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale (Pale Ale)
etc. etc. etc.
Also, when drinking beer, be sure to pour into a glass. Drinking straight from the bottle/can is like eating something with a stuffy nose/cold.
Let me guess. You're only exposure to stouts is Guinness, right?
>be sure to pour into a glass. Drinking straight from the bottle/can is like eating something with a stuffy nose/cold
true with most booze, especially red wine (which also needs to sit in the glass at least 10 mins or so before consumption)
Please leave and don't come back <3
It's a solid example for the style (for obvious reasons) and, yes, readily available pretty much everywhere in the U.S.
What are some better examples of a Hefeweizen then? The problem here in the U.S. is that some breweries put on the bottle/can label "Hefeweizen", but when you taste it, it's clearly an American Wheat. No banana & clove, big on the cereal grain.
If you like ryes, try looking for High West's A Midwinter Night's Dram.
Hahahaha no. I'm exposed to all kinds of beer. My family is in the industry. I just don't have the taste palette for it. But I do much prefer it over other drinks. Wine is awful.
I'm as surprised as you are this is still up. hahaha What Hefeweizen?
There's Jackie O's, Rhinegeist, Triple Digit, Columbus Brewing, Hoof Hearted, Great Lakes, Fat Head's, etc.
>What are some better examples of a Hefeweizen then? The problem here in the U.S. is that some breweries put on the bottle/can label "Hefeweizen", but when you taste it, it's clearly an American Wheat. No banana & clove, big on the cereal grain.
> Hefeweizen in a can
Also: banana notes is not something I'd covet in a weizen. There is banana weizen for that.
Better weizen would be: Schneider Weisse, Andechser Weissbier, Prinzregent Luitpold Weissbier. But these may be hard/impossible to come by in the US.
Hell, even Paulaner is a tad bit better (but still not exceptionally good).
Something about that name irks me. That weird combination of English and German most likely. What style of beer is it?
First time ever hearing that before. We get the Schneider Weisse here, but I've never seen/heard of Andechser or Prinzregent Luitpold. What are your thoughts on Hofbrau and Franziskaner?
It's actually a brewery that makes quite a few solid beers in Cincinnati. Never even thought about what the origins of the name is.
>First time ever hearing that before.
It's something you get in a lot of pubs around here. Hefeweizen mixed with banana juice. There are other flavors available, but banana is by far the most popular.
>We get the Schneider Weisse here, but I've never seen/heard of Andechser or Prinzregent Luitpold. What are your thoughts on Hofbrau and Franziskaner?
Run of the mill mass produced beer for mass markets. Drinkable, but nothing I go "Hey, cool, they have xy here!" about.
> It's actually a brewery that makes quite a few solid beers in Cincinnati. Never even thought about what the origins of the name is.
The Rhine is the longest river in Germany, so Rhinegeist is a... weird combination of English and German. It means "ghost" (literally) or "spirit" (more fitting translation) of the Rhine. But Rhine is spelt Rhein in German, so Rheingeist would be a much better name... meh. I know I'm being nitpicky, but stuff like that irks me.
Drinking this now. Perfect amount of coffee, chocolate, and as smooth as a motherfucker.
Who the fuck would put banana juice in a beer? Also, banana juice actually exists???????
Huh, that is pretty interesting on the German side of what Rhinegeist is. Maybe the person who came up with it has dyslexia?
Never had Morningwood. From the look of all the trading boards, it seems that it's not worth actually trying to get it as many people are offering/asking absurd amount of stuff for it.
Last Snow is my favorite out of all from Funky Buddha I've had (only had Last Snow, MBCP, Nib Smuggler, Hop Gun). If you got some MW and for trade, hit me up. hahaha
Such a quality shelf turd.
Well, what kind of styles do you mainly like?
Actually, this thread is going on 9 days (somehow, I don't know). I've pretty much drank something every day too. My Friday was aight. Just got home from work. Yours?
Got home from work a bit ago. Been drinking and doing homework since. About to begin more drinking and less homework, though I am by myself watching movies. Not used to not doing something or being out with people so this is odd for me.
Brought a bottle of Mocha Wednesday into work today to share with people. So damn good.
Now Drinking: Three Pints' H.I.L.F.
i have pbr
its not hardore
but i know
i should post here
bc im drunk
I'm used to being around people constantly. So yeah, taking tonight to just do me has been really nice. Caught up on some books, played music, been really nice.
PBR isn't the worst. Got so used to it while on tour.
Debating breaking into some NoDa brews I have
Eh. 18.4% isn't too hardcore. haha
But, you should post whenever, even only one PBR deep, yo. Always down for some convo up in here.
Good to hear that! What kind of music?
Personally, I am practicing gypsy jazz at the moment. I have been wanting to branch out musically for a while so I managed to take some time tonight to do so. I love pop-punk and metal. Yet I am currently playing for a really poppy band and I absolutely love it. The music we've been making has been so much fun.
Kraken is great! I got really into black spiced rum because of that actually. Also had a lot of drunken nights because of it. Ripped the Sun visor out of my car one night because of it actually.
We are pretty damn cool, I agree. Yourself included.
>because of (x3)
Hmm ok I might be slightly intoxicated
Shh, yes you are.
Also found a fun picture of me playing live, ayyy.
well half a bottle is gone. im off meds for a couple of weeks (not by choice to an extent) so like my tolerance is super fucking high again bc thats how it normally is, so im just taking advantage of it atm. lmao currently im just playing some song by bring me the horizon otherwise i dont listen to them
ill prob nostalgia with some 2000s shit from when i was in middle school and be a+++
anyway thanks <3
That's pretty cool. Man, I haven't listened to pop-punk/related in yearsss. The only punk band I actually listen to these days is The Bouncing Souls. Anyhow, good on you for actually pursuing what you love and doing something about.
What size bottle, though? Could be one of those shot sized bottles for all we know. hahaha
Nostalgia with something ala Third Eyed Blind, Blink 182, etc.?
Nah, man. You underestimate the level of failure I am. hahaha
Fuck. If anyone is cool here in this thread tonight, it'd be you.
I used to play guitar every single day, but then life happened and I haven't seriously practiced in years.
Nah man, don't be so sure. I feel I am blindly pursuing something. Trying my ass off and I might never amount to anything. But I am having a hell of a time in the process. Traveled so much in the last three years. I just recently started my own band. Here is a link I'll temporarily leave up, so check it out:
It's unlistend since it is unfinished. We copyrighted it and are mastering it now, but this is still our rough version.
So what are you listening to? Yellowcard has been my shit lately!
If this was, like, 2004, I would tell you to step back from that ledge my friend and listen to 182. However, it's just like any other 'mainstream' band I suppose?
Only 2 liters? C'mon, you can finish the whole thing tonight. I believe in you!
Well, I mean, at least you have the confidence to do it and also play in front of crowds. I wish I could tour the U.S. even just to explore these wild plains of land.
Now Drinking: Stone's Enjoy By 2.14.16
It's been years since I've heard that song, hoyl hell the nostalgia is real. Which coast are you on?
I broke into Hop, Drop and Roll from a local brewery. I am quite happy now.
It's funny, I'd never bought anything from Stone before, despite not being all that far from their hometown, and generally being a guy who likes trying new craft/microbrew beers. My usual store had a variety 12 pack of their stuff, so I figured I'd try it.
This "delicious IPA" lives up to its name, I think.
Hopefully it was still relatively fresh. Good to hear you like their stuff. California is blessed with soooo many good breweries within arms reach.
You try any of their sours/barrel aged offerings? Also, heard of Burial Brewing?
Haha I got that so fucking much right after The Interview came out.
I went to a con right around that time, and my evenings were an endless succession of:
>Hey, has anybody ever told you you look like Seth Rogen?
>Only 6 other people in the last hour...
Not that it bothers me now, though, since it's been a good year, and besides, it's better to look like a famous actor, even a dorky one, than a Chomo or some shit lol.
It seems to be pretty fresh, I go to that liquor store every few days and this was the first time I saw that case on their shelves, so it should be pretty new. This one is a pretty good beer, too. The others varied, Ruination was OK but made me feel shitty after a few, Pataskala Red was mediocre, and the Cali-Belgian is pretty awful IMO, but I'm not a big fan of sweet beers.
Oh god you are living life like me at the moment then. I have class at 9am, NC representing here. It's not a bad song at all, I had almost forgot it existed. I managed to get into Neck Deep now, been all over the board tonight.
Ah, sorry to sound like a broken record. I don't think it's a bad thing though. I have people tell me all the time I look like someone. Granted I never get one single person, people always just say I look like someone. Maybe I am generic?
Now Drinking: Three Floyds' Zombie Dust
Decent, but overrated (little biased as I live here in Indiana and have had it dozens of times).
Hitachino nest beer is the best damn breakfast brew ever.
>Who the fuck would put banana juice in a beer? Also, banana juice actually exists???????
Mixing beers with juice or sodas is actually very common here. Wheat beer with lemonade is popular in the summer, same as regular beer with lemonade. In other areas, beer with coke is a common thing.
> Huh, that is pretty interesting on the German side of what Rhinegeist is. Maybe the person who came up with it has dyslexia?
More likely the typical American "muh heritage" kind of deal.
I mean, I'm familiar with radlers and the like. It was more the fact of people using banana juice specifically that I am bewildered about.
Bruh, you makin' a funny about us Mericans?
>I mean, I'm familiar with radlers and the like. It was more the fact of people using banana juice specifically that I am bewildered about.
It has been a thing for a over a decade or so now. No idea how and when it came up, but for as long as I can remember friends of mine have been drinking bananenweizen at pubs. Never been a big fan of it (I rarely drink weizen as it is).
>Bruh, you makin' a funny about us Mericans?
Damn right I am.
No, actually I'm just still, after all these years, bewildered as to the whole "I'm 1/8 Cherokee, 1/16 Irish, 1/128 Russian" etc. thing. No one gives a rat's ass, you're American and that's that.
At most, referring to your heritage makes sense if it's "yea, my mother is Mexican and my dad is from the US".
But that's just my opinion.
