If you do use Fetlife to find munches, you can use it to scout out who's going. There are also often events for younger people (usually under 30), which will at least not have OLD perverts.

Most people i've seen on fetlife are extremely old compared to me. I'm only 19 and everyone is 30+ and 40-50+

I don't think fetlife is sjw, there are lots of groups that look like they belong on 4chan such as white master/nigger slave groups, groups about domestic violence, owning women as property and generally mistreating us, neo-nazi groups and whatnot. Hell ,there are groups which explicitly state on their title that they are about illegal fetishes (without specifying what, but it's not too hard to guess). Personally I've seen people complaining about kinkshaming but I've never really seen anyone say the stuff you're talking about. Quite the contrary, actually there's plenty of large groups for men who are into minority women or women with a certain body type, and the discussions there are always normal ones, no shaming of any kind.

The "white master/nigger slave" group obviously has to have some black female interest or the group wouldn't exist. There are black women who like that kink dynamic. The same thing with "ownership" and "domestic violence", hell there's a woman here on /soc/ who posts regularly in kink threads about how her biggest fetish is wanting to be beaten violently.

I don't see an issue with very specific kinks/fetishes, but there are a lot of people on fetlife (as far as I've seen, exclusively female) who are so against certain things that they don't want other people to enjoy them.

I hate the term "kinkshaming", but that's the only way I can explain how they act, they publicly state how a certain preference or kink is horrible and they shouldn't enjoy it. Instead of just saying that they don't like said preference or kink. You can't really go into another person's group and shit talk, so that's why you don't see the posts in those groups, you see them post public blogs about how much they hate men who don't want to fuck a fat chick because men are horrible horrible people.

I haven't really had any luck meeting anybody on fetlife, I've had more luck on other sites. Part of it is that fetlife has to be treated like facebook, you need to CONSTANTLY post for anybody to care, since there is no search function, and the script you can download to search isn't very good. So yeah, I don't take it too seriously.

It's still decent to link people who just wanna see your list of kinks and interests.

No, you're right. I've noticed that more and more. The K&P is usually filled with writings from women (or beta males) celebrating something about women, usually an insecurity of theirs while berating men for having preferences yet demanding their preferences be met unquestioned and the comments are 99% women applauding themselves over it.

There's a decent amount of 'normal' people on there, but you can lose sight of them in the waves of PC bs.
There's also a LOT of 'financial dommes' pretending they're 'really into it' and totally 'not for the money'.

Those are some of the reasons I barely go there lately. For an openminded community they are really not that open to straight men.
