I'm socially awkward as fuck so I avoid eye contact with everyone if possible. If I'm out and feeling a bit more confident and see someone that's cute I will take little glances. If he looks back at me I will make eye contact for a couple of seconds and smile, then carry on witch whatever I was doing before. I leave it up to him to approach because I can't handle rejection :(
