Because at least we can hope that our comilitons don't turn out to be brainlets and able to think for themselves, so you can converse with them and maybe learn that you were wrong about one or two things as well, but at least you are learning. Life really isn't hopeless, you just have to decide which kind of people you are going to pay heed to.

Other than that, the publishing industry is suffering from conflict of interest and doing a lazy job at times, the internet is being coopted _right now_ xDDD, the English language was faulty to begin with.
