Anyone who is alarmed by this statistic is a moron
You can't eat money, it's basically just a physical meme
If you distributed the wealth evenly and say everyone gets $50 million, every person in the world wouldn't be able to buy $50 million worth of groceries - there wouldn't anywhere near the amount of physical goods to meet the demand
Buying corporations, etc. is just a meme too because all that's happening is that an imaginary property 'right' is being transferred
Most of the other big purchases are practically memes too, like buying a $1.5mil fungus, or a $50mil piece of modern 'art' that look likes a child's scribbling
>>7804899 But the statistic does point out how broken capitalism is. There is plenty of food to feed everyone on the planet and yet thousands of people die of starvation everyday because of a social construct. Money is just another system of power.
>>7804928 Yes, let us rid ourselves of the concepts of ownership and money, and watch as the rates at which food is produced and transported somehow stay exactly the same while in an economic environment that is drastically less efficient.
>>7804958 >there wouldn't anywhere near the amount of physical goods to meet the demand And then I pointed out that there is plenty of food to feed everyone on earth. There are also enough unused yet livable homes in the United States to house all of the homeless 10x over. The reason that the people in need aren't being provided for is not a lack of resources, it is a lack of profit.
>>7804971 For how long would the current stockpile of food feed everyone? How many days/years? And why do you think you're system would produce and transport new food at the same rate as the current system?
>>7804997 That will put you in prison and maybe the negro at one point in his life want to chill out and write negro poems ( rap ) and be peaceful... shit could happens - sentient life is an amazing opportunity and gift, all forms of live that got it should embrace its fulled potential.
Not every rich man is also a glutton, but suppose they are - how much excess food would you have tallied up from them all?
Suppose the world's ~15 million millionaires buy and throw out enough food for 4 people every night of the week
That's enough food for 60,000,000 people that's being thrown away
But how many people in the world suffer from 'undernourishment'? 793,000,000
Another 1 billion on top of that have a vitamin/mineral deficiency
But the truth is that this whole narrative is baloney anyway
Isn't it strange how the 'starving' third world is still around to tell us about it, two decades+ on?
And most of the food people toss out isn't actually 'food'. From a T-bone steak, you might only get about 50% of actual decent meat. The other 50% consists of bone and grizzle. This waste gets counted by you as 'food'.
Another 'food' that counts as waste is spoiled fruit and vegetables. Now I know what you're going to say - they should have ate it *before* it had spoilt! - but often such food is spoilt already by the time is purchased. For instance, one might purchase a nice yellow looking mango, only to open it up two days later to find clumps of rot inside.
It would be nice if people did not waste food unnecessarily, but distributing wealth evenly will not change that attitude. In fact, if it's true going by your words that everyone will enjoy a carefree life after this wealth distribution, wouldn't they be even less incentivized than they are now to conserve food?
Food supply currently matches demand. The balance between supply and demand is the price you pay. Fillet steak costs US$35/kg where I live, which is a steep price, even for a first worlder. I wouldn't be able to afford it every night. Regional pricing reflects local supply and demand. After all, it costs money to ship food from one side of the world to the other.
Demand is already high. What do you think will happen once you invite a billion more people to the dinner table?
>>7804742 Bach never existed, the freemasons compiled a bunch of works from Italian composers of the early 1800s and invented a history around Bach in order to undermine Christian musicians such as Mozart and Beethoven
The luciferian masons were, and still are, furious that the most beautiful of all music comes from Christian composers
