PEMDAS goes completely against BODMAS. A kid in one system would first multiply while the other kid would first divide.

And that may be silly but it is even more silly when you realize that multiplication and division are literally the same operation. Just like adding and substracting, you just change the 'parameters' for the additive or multiplicative inverse.

I just use parenthesis to define the order I want you, the reader, to see the calculations. That is the best way and is completely unambiguous.

Your government thinks you are too stupid for parenthesis.
