tl:dr of the character she cosplays:

Used to be a regular girl in Norwegian village. Village raided by bad people. Kill a lot of folks. Force this chick to kill her family. Also forced to laugh while she does it.

Fast forward to the events of the game. Girl is found, has serious PTSD and mental ilness cos of it, laughs at everything, loves carnage. Is put into a military camo suit with mechanical tentacles. Defeated by main character. She "sheds" her main suit and reveals her true form - what you see on the cosplay. Chick regains some sanity for a while, is scared, but slowly after goes back to laughing at everything, goes batshit crazy and tries to kill main character by basically raping him.

Silicone-based lube is the easiest way (for me, anyway). Squirt a little on to the latex, and slide it right on.
Some people use talc, or other power lubes, too. But personally, I prefer the liquid lubes, as they are also used to shine the latex, giving it the mirror polish that you know and love

Not shinier, but you can usually skip the lube on the inside, so it's a lot less messy. It's more "matte" but unless you do photoshoots, nobody notices the difference.

To follow up to what the anon said, the difference isn't really all that noticeable, metallic colours in particular still retain a good shine even when chlorinated, solid colours lose a little bit, but as said, most people never notice unless you're being photographed.

As for the first part of your question, I do find it to be easier to clean, primarily because you don't have to worry about washing off all the lube and everything that sticks to it. It's also a lot easier to get on, no lubrication required.

The only downside to chlorination is that if a repair is required, there is a lot more work required in order to get the repair to work vs non-chlorinated.

You needn't worry about a drastic change in colour like that, it's only a very slight loss of shine on solid, you'll likely never notice it, I didn't on my black catsuit

Overall, I've very happy with them - great fit, and well made. If you can fit in one of their off the peg sizes, check LatexExpress (discount site for premade Libidex stuff). If you need custom sizing, hit the main site, and you can get any size and color you want.

Much easier to put chlorinated latex on. For me, this was a bit of a double edged sword - regular latex clings to you a little bit, which makes it difficult to put on without lube, but also gives it a sort of second skin feeling, almost like it fused to your body. Chlorinated latex, on the other hand, does not stick (not nearly as much anyway), making it easier to slip on dry, but also preventing that second skin feeling. I had a chlorinated t-short for a while that was a breeze to put on, but unless I sweat a little bit to cause it to stick, it almost felt like I was just wearing a tight undershirt. As for color, it was still pitch black, but not quite as shiny as the non-chlorinated pieces.

Oh, and notice I said 'had'. Repairs on chlorinated latex are very difficult - if your piece rips (like my shirt did), that might be all she wrote. Overall, it's mostly a matter of preference, and weighing the pros and cons of whether or not to go with chlorination. Personally, I'm sticking with non-chlorinated - for me, it just feels better when I'm wearing it.
