I wish Gondola was drawn more in the style of picture he's placed in, like in the OP. Here he just looks sort of super-imposed on the pic.

yes it certainly looks lazy,
but for some reason, since gondola is only a observer, it still works for me. does someone have the gondola theory made by anon by any chance?

That's not comfy, that's slightly unsettling
>>37825119
you're right but that unsettling feeling is slightly comfy to me

yeah it's interesting that some pictures make certain people uncomfy but others comfy. this is the example one of the users posted

"comfy" always has an element of peaceful melancholy to it for me, I think certain kinds of people just find comfort in stuff that reflects their own sadness and loneliness.
They say that people with high sensitivity to negative emotional also tend to experience aesthetic beauty more strongly than others. I wonder if that's why Gondola paintings like in OP are so compelling to some people here.

i think that maybe if the world made by humans made you experience a lot of negative emotions, then everything that makes you feel disconnected from that reality might bring great comfort to you, as long as there is nothing that reminds you of these negative emotions.

yeah I wish I was rich too, that would be comfy af
is there a place you'd like to go in particular?

might sound cheesy but id love to go to antarctica alone and spend some months there, just to experience the ultimate solitude once in my life.
What about surrealistic dreamscapes? Does anybody have those?
For me it's the comfiest thing in the world seeing art of a trippy world that doesn't exist. The boundaries are limitless and the world full of mysteries.
