Underwater footage is a bit hit and miss as far as capturing action is concerned.

Certainly is an unusual death. He is the only person I have ever heard of who has been killed by a stingray barb to the heart.

I saw the footage.

He swims over some sand in what seems like 7-8 meters deep water when the stingray jumps out of sand and runs away.

He never saw the stingray hiding and the stab happens so fast you don't really see it.
