Not because I've "grown up" but because it no longer has a purpose or a distinct culture. The culture has shifted to a supermajority of normies and the purpose of the place has shifted to vanilla-tier conformity bullying by Tumblr.

I'm reminded of the final scene of a Brave New World where the lone representative of the dead "native" culture flagellates himself while the curious tourists of the World State look on and masturbate.

People come here to kick a dead dog and watch it twitch. It's over.

This image has always pissed me off. Some CalArts generic faggot (just looked it up, the guy was literally an intern) draws his sophomoric garbage over an original Cowboy Bebop drawing by the character designer. No image better illustrates the current state of animation.
