Does /r9k/ think Modest Mouse is robot tier music? I do. They have a unique sound and style, so for starters they can't be labeled as mainstream normie bullshit. Most of their songs also seem to be about loneliness, depression, isolation, death, futility of existence, and looking from the outside in. What do you guys think?
Been listening to them since the beginning, gf got me signed WE WERE DEAD album for bday. Ugly Casanova is God tier as well

Issac Brock GOAT
At least OP listens to good music instead of obscure shitty metal
>b-b-but it's not normalcore so it has to be good
There's a reason something is mainstream bucko. It's mostly because it's GOOD.
I have loved this band since 1998, been to many of their concerts in California and know all their lyrics to 98% of their songs. They are far from normie but have normies convince them to play it on the radio. Best album: Lonesome Crowded West, My favorite song of theirs: Bankrupt on selling
