I feel ya man. Best thing is le euphoric sense of comradery between you and your three friends as you sit at a table and have a good time.
I liked setting up stratego guys in a hallway with my siblings and throw marbles at theirs. Forgot what we called it
Robots, you should be playing board wargames
>Get to recreate historical spilling of blood and guts
>Complicated rules to sperg out over
>Can nitpick inaccuracies and complain about them on message boards
>Can be played solo - no opponent necessary
>Get to pretend you're doing something useful with your time, like learning about history
Really, they're the perfect robot games.

Hell yeah. Thank God I also have a friendly poker game I attend once a week if I can. Boardgames friends came from this crew, but it's harder to get together.

Sounds cool, but having a thousand pieces that get lost easily really triggers my autism.
I'd prefer to play some EU4 or similar with friends on the computer. No pieces to keep track of, and still fun.
